THIS WEEK on DAYS: Kristen Is Pregnant! What Do You Think Of The Plot Twist?

Courtesy/NBC

After all of us thought that Kristen DiMera (Eileen Davidson) could never conceive a child, it looks like all of that has changed!

This week on Days of our Lives, Kristen gets the shock of her life when she discovers she is pregnant!  And, this comes after she is just reunited with Brady Black (Eric Martsolf).

So, does this mean that Kristen is pregnant with Father Eric’s child (Greg Vaughan)? Did Kristen’s evil plan to destroy Marlena backfire on her? Or, ultimately give her the one thing she has always wanted besides revenge on the good doc?

In addition, it looks like the revelation of the pregnancy will now have once friends,  Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) and Kristen sharing with each other the news, and Jen wanting to help her with dealing with this.  Only Jen has no idea about her cruel scheme perpetrated on Father Eric!

Watch this week’s NBC promo for Days of our Lives after the jump! Then, share your thoughts on if you think Kristen being pregnant is a good plot twist?  What do you think should happen next?  Will she pass her unborn child off as Brady’s? Can the child really be Eric’s?

Oh man the story is getting better and better. And the fact that Jenn is involved without knowing what’s going on! Everything will blow up before she leaves and that will be must see TV! Makes you wonder if she’ll leave town with the baby. I wish she wasn’t leaving!

I agree…Eileen makes tuning in such an experience…can’t wait to see it unfold. If its Eric’s her and Marlena will always be entwined…whoa

If she caries full term, she will be gone before the birth because ED’s last
airdate is in november.

I love Eileen Davidson in this role but, this is just too much. No offense to her but the character is a bit old to be conceiving a child at this point. Especially given her inability before. I get the shock value and the story potential but don’t think it is more than typical soap schlock.

I agree with you Chaz…this really is TOO much.

I think that Kristin will lose the baby and that will be the catalyst to her leaving the show. She’s going to go whack-a-doodle again and get sent off to the crazy farm until Eileen is ready to come back for another visit.

Perhaps it is a miracle child– I mean she did rape a priest– holy sperm and all that. Most likely it will be a demon seed with Kristin as the mother, a raped priest as the father, Stefano as the grandfather, and EJ and Sami as its aunt and uncle– this poor child is going to need therapy before it is even born. So yeah it soap schlock, but schock sometimes works.

can you imagine both Kristen and Nicole having kids…. and watching these two mothers and child involved ? Yikes… now these are two fierce, feisty, stay out of my way… charged Up.

I don’t know… what’s going to become of Kristen… i’m in turmoil… that so many are vested in realism.

Kristen is evil laden. still full of intrigue. she’s an older woman having a baby… I hope this brings her rest… ie: her mothering kicks in and she lets go her past.

dang! I really do hope she’s just taking time off…. would make for good mystery… if she leaves before the baby is born… that way when she comes back…. she’ll have that bond with Marlena… set in stone.

IE: Marlena telling Brady….

Kristen is never going to change. Her pathology is definite…. sociopath.

in the meantime… Victor is telling Brady…. all you see is sex.

its too bad what’s happening to the DiMera’s….

I wish TPTB would hire Jason Brooks… in the advent exit of Kristen and Chad.

DAYS – SONY – NBC, hire Jason Brooks to ruffle and keep alive Salem.

can we say excite and sensations for Jennifer and Hope?

With Melissa Reeves on Days it will NEVER be ever Jason Brooks on it !
And like it or not Jennifer and the actress playing her is far more important to the show and TPTB than Jason Brooks and even his former character of Peter Blake- Dimera will ever be. Maybe they could recast Peter but certainly not with the same actor..mark my words.

I think Eileen Davidson is doing an awesome job! but lets wait and see how far long she is than we will no exactly who is the childs dad. I honestly think it is Brady. and if not this will be her exit. I heard she is leaving sept

november actually

Father Eric…gross! Sounds like more of a plotline for the online soaps than network!!!

P.S. Next Father Matt reveals to Eric he had seven children with a woman named Olivia: John-Boy, Jason, Mary Ellen, Erin, Eric, Jim-Bob, and Elizebeth!…lol

Oh that is too funny for words– but you do realize there are those under a certain age that are saying what the ??????? because they have no idea what you are referring to, which makes it even funnier. Thanks for making my day

for those who dont get my joke…actor Ralph Waite(Father Matt) starred as John Walton in the family series The Waltons from the 1970s to the 1980s(with some time off) On the show he was married to Olivia and had the 7 children i mentioned…lol

Predictable, but it keeps this juicy story going, giving it new legs. I can dig it.

– Days of OUR Lives –

I am glued to…..

I am transfixed to….

I don’t want to erase any shows –

I am watching shows over – I’ve never done that.

That’s how GOOD, DAYS IS.

I ponder the storylines like never before! There is so much to look forward to!!

PLEASE – Days –

don’t let Kristen losing the baby… be the catalyst for her leaving Salem.

Give her that child to strengthen herself.

just like Nicole is ready.

From a story line point of view– whose the daddy guessing game is a soap staple, so I don’t really blame the writers for going there. I get the potential of Marlena possibly having a grandchild with her mortal enemy as the mommy too tempting to pass up.
However, I hate it when soaps have woman who cannot have children, suddenly turn up pregnant– it is a disservice to the real issue of infertility and right up there with chronically ill characters suddenly being cured as one of my pet peeves about soaps.
As for being a shock– not for fans who predicted this would happen the minute she bedded Eric.

Hey Mary back in town glad to see you are keeping up the good fight! Sister filled in for me some but now she is done Drama teacher can’t stand the mess. LOL

Welcome back. Yeah still in the trenches of soap watching– the good, the bad and the ugly, I am watching it all. Was shaking my head in disbelief on Y&R today when Sharon faked a sprain ankle in order to have Nick hold her. What is she in ninth grade? I can’t believe how much they are dumbing down that poor character– I’m still hoping there is method to this madness and something good will come out of this—like maybe the show will get so bad Sony will have no choice but to fired those who are ruining this show worse than MAB did.

Well I sit down and actually watched Y&R yesterday the birth of Chelsea’s baby was the DUMBEST birth ever done, they should be ashamed. And the comment that the baby was big because she had a steroid shot and well it was truly middle school play quality sad . We had an article in our newspaper this morning on a young lady who has MS she is 21 was diagnosed at age 14 what her feet look like and what she is going thru needless to say I am sending the article to CBS/ Y&R and tell them they should be ashamed to make a mockery out of a serious illness. Soaps need to stay away from social illness’s if you are going to not be informative. Someone needs to get their attention but maybe this is what they want. Anyway I am very disappointed with this show.

They also are doing a mockery of a very serious, real disease like manic depression (being bipolar) with the absolute disgusting writing of the Sharon character right now..yuke.

Eileen Davidson is a wonderful actress, but having her conceive strains credulity because this character is obviously past childbearing age. But hey it’s a soap, whatever

Oh come on Anne this is such an original storyline no soap has ever done this before! Lol!

Well Marlena had a pregnancy at this age and Nicole had several ‘miracle pregnancies’..lmao..it is Days it is a soap..mouahahaaaaaaaaaaa

All I know is I hope she has the baby because another Brady or Black for down the line with a Dimera as the Mommy is going to be great!

The only thing great would be if Kristen had a Black baby because it would actually make Brady Black somewhat more interesting to watch. Adding the Kristen dramatics would just make it better.

On the other tossing Kristen into Eric life again claiming they have a child would not be good. I have the feeling the writers would write it worst than how they wrote Chloe when she came back to town to announce Daniel was Parker father than Kristen might be similar regardless of whoever it is, but much much worse with Eric.

Saw that one coming a mile away. Eileen is a good actress but all that sex she was involved in with Brady was a real turn off and to top it off they have her sleep with Father Eric and NOW she’s preggers, it’s truly insulting I tell ya!!!!

I so wish the show had not chosen to go down this route. It is lazy storytelling, not to mention disgusting and warped. I don‘t understand the decision to involve Kristen in a story with two men who are a full generation younger than her. Second, Kristen is well past child bearing years. That point I can live with….after all, if the 60 ish Rachel on Another World could give birth to twins…well…soap ages are just plain weird. That does not bother me so much. But third….people…she RAPED a priest!! A 50 something woman RAPED a 30 something priest. That‘s one potential father. The other potential father is her former stepson. I would love to be a fly on the wall in these writer‘s meetings where they say…“Okay…how can we appeal to our core audience of females who want romance and love and fantasy? How can we get those ratings?? I KNOW! Let‘s have a male priest get raped by a female psychopath!!“ i just don‘t get it. Soaps have strayed SO far from what made them successful, and people really wonder why ratings are so down. DAYS used to be the gold standard for supercouples and romance and They had couples that viewers passionately rooted for. I wish they would get back to that!

Sad but true– the art of telling a good old-fashioned love story seems to have been forgotten, not just in soaps, but in movies, and in books. I don’t really blame soap writers, I think it is the times we live in and the culture that is changing what is consider romance— but am with you, I loved the golden age of the supercouple– those were some great stories that I am glad I got to enjoy at the right age and time to enjoy them in.

Rachel wasnt in her 60s…Vicki Wyndam who played Rachel was only 52 when the character of Rachel had twins during this 1997 storyline…which is medically possible and has happened in real life. E.D. (Kristen) is around that age but most likely playing slightly younger. But your right about the supercouple and romance part which is sorely lacking in all soaps. Ive watched Days since the 1960s and it used to be one of the most romantic soaps, beginning with Doug and Julie who were daytimes most romantic couple in the 1970s…i still consider them the no. one romantic soap couple of all time.

Ya doug and julie were cool. Still are.

Yeah Doug and Julie with Doug sleeping with her mother and having her child, you know..Hope ! And the first real Days supercouple was Bill and Laura Horton with Bill raping Laura and by that creating a child.. Mike.. Laura passing the child as Mike Horton (Bill’s brother) then Mike trying to kill Bill…Bottom line soap operas were always twisted..yep there was the staple story of the Hero who save his damsel from the villain in exotic islands but it was not the only core element of these Daytime soaps…

Mickey Horton and Mike his fake son and real son of Bill i meant..these same names are confusing..lol

I do not like the storyline where Kristen raped and drugged Father Eric Brady, but since you asked my thoughts about it I’ll give it. Hopefully Kristen will find out she is miscarried or better yet that she was not pregnant in the first place.

I would not mind the baby being Brady Black’s because that would give the show reason to bring back John later when his grandchild showed up in Salem. As for the other possibility there is no way I would ever accept that as a fan. Kristen would use the child as a puppet to try to control Eric and Marena’s lives, so no way. There is too much of a backlash now.

There is no way I want Kristen to have either John or Marlena grandchild, if that were to happen I would want them to go to court to get custody of the child, because Kristen is a sociopath, I would also push to have Kristen admitted to a mental institution for life!

But it is what give a STORY !

What an outrageous character! I adore Eileen Davidson, either as devilish Kristen on DAYS or sophisticated Ashley on Y&R.

She is a great actress.

well since she is pregnant maybe this is how they are going to write her out of salem for now – maybe she will come back later with child in tow & wreak some more havoc in salem……….

This has been my dream storyline for weeks. I just wish Eileen was not leaving. This provides upcoming story for years. The fallout with Marlena, John, Eric, Brady, Jennifer, Nicole, EJ, etc. I am ready to see Eric leave the priesthood and be a good leading man for Nicole or maybe Chishelle. I also think it is time for Nicole to have a family. Can we bring back the charcter of Brandon and Taylor?

Euh NO Taylor was a disaster, Brandon ok..i did not mind him even loved him with Sami, above all before his affair with his step mother Lexie..lol

Had to reply here Judith…you replied to me about Doug and Julie and said Doug slept with her mother…Addie by the way…you made it sound like the had an affair…Doug married Addie and they had Hope…and as for the romance part i was refering to how Doug used to sing to Julie, and how the always looked at each other…sure soaps have their twisted moments like you said but at the same time the used to also took time out for a little romance as well…but its a rarity in todays soaps!!!

Maybe Marlena will become possessed again if son Father Eric is the father…lol.

I love the story and wish she wasn’t leaving !! Like others said earlier, so many stories could have come down the road ! Everyone throws around the “rape” term,, He wasn’t tied down and gagged, most scenes he was on top and the aggressor saying how much he wanted her ! not the other way around. The show is so good right now, I have been watching every day which almost never happens LOL

Drugging someone into having sex with you when they wouldn’t had sex with you if they hadn’t been drugged– is rape. They are not in the proper frame of mind to give consent– just like a guy slipping a drug into a woman’s drink at a party— And Eric was protesting that is why Kristen had to edit those parts out of the tape to make it look like he wanted it—
-On soaps they are two classes of sexual assault — those that resemble real life–based on situations that actually could happen, like Nick being raped in prison. And the other kind is unrealistic– situations that don’t really happen in real life, but are used to get two characters who wouldn’t normally have sex to have sex– ie Kristen and Father Eric. These unrealistic types are plot devices, in a larger story, but not the focus of the story. The first type, the realistic ones are the story.
It is a shame that soaps feel the need to use a sexual assault as a plot device, but Days more than any other is known for it, especially with the Dimeras– but even as plot devices, those assaults are still technically rape.

yep but they do it on EVERY soaps not only Days, you should see GH and its rape’s obsession..almost every storylines have a rape plot point on it..

I think this is a way for Kristen to sneak back and switch her Eric baby
and Nicole’s Brady baby. Kristen will make Nicole look like the rapist.

I is beyond absurd. I can’t wait for the character to leave and she better do so discovering she is really in MENOPAUSE, BC I don’t buy Days immaculate conception, she could get pregnant years ago, the odds are only much higher given her age.

It is not ‘immaculate conception’ since dear Kristen had sex..and a lot at that..Kristen is definitely not Mary..lol

DAYS and ‘Supernatural’ Alum Jensen Ackles Joins the Cast of Justin Hartley’s CBS Series ‘Tracker’

Look who’s joining Justin Hartley’s hit freshman drama, Tracker! None other than another soap alum, former Days of our Lives and Supernatural favorite Jensen Ackles.

In a reveal via Hartley’s Instagram on Thursday, Ackles is set to play Hartley’s on-screen brother on the CBS procedural drama. In Tracker, Colter Shaw is estranged from his brother, Russell, which has been a big part of the mystery of season one.

Ackles is best known for his long run as Dean Winchester in The CW’s Supernatural, a role he reprised in the prequel of the series The Winchesters. He also recently starred in ABC’s Big Sky as Sheriff Beau Arlen and in The Boys as Soldier Boy.

Jensen was the original Eric Brady on Days of our Lives, a role he played from 1997-2000, before departing for the world of primetime and film.  Eric was in love with Nicole played by Arianne Zucker. The part of Eric was recast with Greg Vaughan taking over the role in 2012.

In his Instagram post, Justin thanked everyone for watching Tracker, and then revealed Ackles as the surprise casting announcement in the role of Russell, while Jensen was playing pinball in the video! No word yet on when Jensen’s first episode as Russell will air. Stay tuned.

Wally Kurth Talks on His DAYS Daytime Emmy Nomination, His Emotional Scenes, and Remembering John Aniston

During our 2023 year-end honors at Michael Fairman TV, we named Wally Kurth as our pick for Best Overall Performance by an Actor for his double-turn as both Ned Quartermaine on General Hospital and as Justin Kiriakis on Days of our Lives. So, it was absolutely no surprise to us that Wally landed a Daytime Emmy nomination for his riveting work as a grieving Justin in the Supporting Actor category for the upcoming 51st annual Daytime Emmy Awards.

On DAYS, Justin had been put through the emotional wringer, of first, losing his beloved Uncle Vic, played by the late John Aniston, and then finding out that Victor was the supposed biological father to Justin’s son, Alex (Rob Scott Wilson). If you didn’t reach for the hankies during some of Kurth’s work in these scenes, we don’t know what will make you do so.

Michael Fairman TV caught up with Wally to get his reaction to his fourth Daytime Emmy nomination in the last six years. Kurth was nominated in the Supporting category in 2018, 2020 and now 2024 and Lead Actor in 2021.

In addition, Wally shares what scenes were on his nominated reel, how John Aniston impacted his work, how he has changed as an actor over the years with a new outlook, and being the only actor out there with two long-running roles on two long-running soaps, and much more. Here’s what Wally had to share below.

Congratulations on your well-deserved nomination. You decided to submit yourself this year for Emmy contention in both Lead Actor for GH and Supporting Actor at DAYS, correct?

WALLY: I did. I thought the DAYS reel was a little more dramatic, much more emotional. I had thought with the way the judging goes that it might be a little bit more, winnable, if you will. I enjoyed and was proud of my work at General Hospital, so it’s all good. I’m thrilled. It’s always nice to be nominated.

Photo: JPI

What scenes did you ultimately choose for your Supporting Actor reel?

WALLY: I started chronologically, as always, trying to tell a little bit of a story. I actually started with a scene where Justin has to tell Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) that Victor’s (the late John Aniston) plane went down and it was not found. Then, the scene with Bonnie (Judi Evans) where I sort of have to let it all out, and grieve the loss of this man who was practically Justin’s father, but it was his Uncle Vic. We have a little scene talking about Victor, and then there is a short snippet at the funeral where Justin eulogizes Victor. Next, we jump to scene where Justin discovers the letter where Angelica admits that indeed Victor is Alex’s father (Rob Scott Wilson). So then, Justin has to tell Alex, and then I also sort of grieve the fact that I’m no longer his father. Justin basically lost his son. It was very dramatic and very emotional. I was guessing the judges would be like, “Hey! Enough with the crying! Stop, you big baby!” But, they didn’t. They must have thought that it was convincing enough that it felt really truthful at how Justin was upset about these two unfortunate realizations.

Photo: JPI

You bring up a really good point. I talk to actors all the time about crying on Emmy reels. Sometimes, many feel it might put voters off. But obviously, this time it worked well for you!

WALLY:  What I liked about the crying scenes was that, like in real life, you’re not crying all the time when something bad is happening, right? I think crying happens and it takes you off guard. It happens without you realizing it. These were all moments when Justin was alone, really. Bonnie comes in the room where Justin is just kind of like dealing with it. And then her coming in, opens up Justin and she is there to hold him. I think that often happens in real life. I thought that was correct for the writers to do that, you know, that Justin would break down when he was alone.

Photo: JPI

Did you feel the pressure of wanting to get these scenes when Victor died and at his memorial, just right due to the enormity to it, and to do justice for John Aniston?

WALLY: I allowed myself to use my heartbreak over John Aniston. I loved him. I just sort of allowed his presence for me in the scenes. It was sweet. It was good for me. I’m just thinking about it now and I feel teary-eyed. John was such a sweet man. He led by example, and he really did teach me how to be a professional actor, and he was a mentor. He never told me anything specific, but he was just John, and in the scenes, this was the time for me tell him how I feel.

Photo: JPI

Then, you had the heartbreaking scenes with Rob Scott Wilson where Justin tells Alex he is not his father!

WALLY:  I thought that was just really challenging material. As I get older, I just trust the material, and don’t get ahead of myself. I trust myself with the emotion. Just let it happen if it happens. When I first read it, I kind of imagined what it could look like and then you just let it unfold from there.

You’ve got Robert Gossett (Marshall, GH), A Martinez (Nardo, The Bay), Mike Manning (Caleb, The Bay), and Bryton James (Devon, Y&R) all in your category. Robert has won two Daytime Emmys in a row, last year for Supporting Actor and the year before for Guest Performer.

WALLY:  l love Robert. I worked with the character Marshall on General Hospital, and we had so much fun. He’s a great guy and a really good actor. A Martinez is the best guy ever. I have such admiration for him. Whenever I see him, we always really connect and to be in included with him is great. Bryton James, I don’t know, but I know he beat me in this category in 2020. Mike Manning, I didn’t get the opportunity to know when he was at DAYS as he weren’t in scenes together, but I hear good things about him, too.

Photo: JPI

When you are judging Emmy reels, what do you look for when you’re voting on a performance?

WALLY: That’s a really great question. And because let’s face it, there’s just a lot of terrific talent in daytime. This year, I judged two categories. I don’t just go with, “Okay, who’s crying the most.” I really try to go with the one who’s touches me the most, who surprises me and moves me. And so, if you go with that, you’re probably going in the right direction. I also think that upfront you do need to kind of give them something in the first couple minutes that shows you know what you’re doing and don’t make it too repetitive.

Who did you first tell you were nominated?

WALLY: My manager, Michael Bruno called me. I was in Chicago with my daughters having a late breakfast and I knew the nominations were going to happen around 11 am Chicago time. I didn’t tell my daughters about what was happening, just in case, I didn’t get nominated. So, when Michael called, I went, “Oh, boy!” I told my daughters who were sitting at the table with me. So, they were the first two people that I could tell, and that was really nice.  We had champagne which was really funny because I bought three little glasses of champagne, and as soon as I bought it, we toasted. They said, “We don’t really like champagne.” So, I ended up drinking all three glasses. (Laughs)

Photo: JPI

What do you think of Eric Martsolf (Brady), your Day Players Band member, and DAYS co-star getting a Lead Actor nomination?

WALLY: I remember, I was like talking to him and I was like, “Eric, are you going to submit yourself?” And he is like, “I don’t know. I don’t really have anything …” And the next thing you know, he’s nominated. I’m like, “Wow! I guess he found something!” (Laughs) I love Eric. I have such respect for him and his gift, and he works really hard. So, I was very happy for him. I’m glad we weren’t in the same category, however.

How many years now have you been playing Justin on DAYS?

WALLY: I started here 37 years ago in 1987. I was there for four years and then I left. Then, 18 years later, Ken Corday (EP, DAYS) invited me back in 2009 and I’ve been on the show now for 15 years. So, I guess a total of 20 years on and off over the last 37 years. Everyone remembers 1987-1991 … those were big, big years for Justin and Adrienne who back then were a supercouple.

Photo: JPI

Have you determined who you would thank in your acceptance speech if you win this year’s Supporting Actor Daytime Emmy?

WALLY: I feel like this year I kind of have an idea of what I would say. I think I can remember all of that without writing it down. If I had gotten nominated for both shows, I was definitely going to point out and thank the powers-that-be for giving me dual citizenship and how much I appreciate that. I do think that being on both soaps, I will go to my grave believing that it’s made me a better actor. In fact, since I’ve been doing both shows, I’ve been nominated for Daytime Emmys. I’ve become a better actor. I feel like maybe it’s just that I’ve gotten older and wiser, but I feel as though when I go in there to work, I’m really focused and I’m really prepared. I know I pretty much get one shot to get it. We’re in the business of “one takes” now in the soaps.

People are so lucky to even have one enduring role in their careers, but you’ve been able to have two, and they’re completely separate characters on two legacy shows; one which just turned 61, General Hospital, and the other Days of our Lives which will soon celebrate 60 years, as well.

WALLY: I didn’t plan on it. I must have done something right. Back in 2009, Ken called me up and invited me back to DAYS. I really jumped in. I’d been out of work for four or five years. I went back with a whole new attitude about the work, about the genre.  In 2004, when I left General Hospital, I was kind of burnt out. Looking back on it, I didn’t have a good attitude and I was just done. I was kind of tired. New writers come in and sometimes, when you have new writers that look at your character differently, it can be very difficult, because you just know that their passion is not with your character. However, in this case, I’m like, “I’m going to take whatever the writers give me and do the best I can and do my job. Let the writers do their job.” I think the writers also know that I really respect them and I’m not going to complain. I’m not going to tell them what to do and I’m going to stay out of it. They have enough to work out. They have enough to do. I’m going to be the problem solver, not the problem creator. There are enough problem creators. Believe me when I tell you that every time I leave those sets, I’m like, “Thank you. I love it.  See you the next time I see you.” I know how lucky I am to do both shows and to have this opportunity to act at my age and still be sent scripts. I love the art of acting. I’d do it for free. The fact that they’re paying me and I am able to do this and work with these great, wonderful, talented actors every day, it’s kind of mind-blowing.

So, will you be rooting for Wally to take home the gold in this year’s Outstanding Supporting Actor in Daytime Drama Series at the 51st annual Daytime Emmy Awards on June 7th live on CBS and streaming on Paramount+? Let us know if you remember his nominated scenes from Days of our Lives via the comment section below and how they affected you.

Lisa Rinna Would Be Down to Reprise Her Role of Taylor McBride in ‘Melrose Place’ Reboot

When Lisa Rinna departed her popular role of Billie Reed on Days of our Lives back in 1995, her next major role would be a jump to primetime and the soapy Melrose Place.

In 1996, Lisa was introduced as new character Taylor McBride and stayed with the Fox young adult sudser for three seasons. Now in 2024, with the recent reveal that a Melrose Place revival is the works with Heather Locklear, Daphne Zuniga and Laura Leighton all on board to reprise their signature roles, would Rinna board the project should it come to fruition?

Speaking with PEOPLE, Rinna expressed, “Well, gosh, I’ve heard about it. I haven’t been approached or anything, but I would love to see what Taylor McBride is up to 25 years later. Wouldn’t that be something?”

Photo: FOX

OG Melrose Place fans know that in story, Taylor moved to the Melrose Place apartment building with her husband Kyle played by Rob Estes. However, Taylor had her eye on Dr. Peter Burns played by former GH star Jack Wagner (ex-Frisco). But, by the time she had moved to the apartment complex, Peter had married tough as nails ad executive, Amanda Woodward, played by Heather Locklear.

Recalling her time on Melrose Place, Rinna added that it, “was one of my greatest and most fun acting experiences, playing Taylor and working with Heather and the whole crew.”  Rinna also noted, “So if they need a Taylor McBride appearance, they know who to call. I’m around.”

Photo: JPI

The new Melrose Place is in development at CBS Studios. In the premise of the reboot, the Melrose Place residents reunite after the death of one of their friends, “but the pressure cooker of a reunion soon uncovers old traumas, rekindles old romances, reignites old resentments, and reveals new secrets… throwing our characters into chaotic drama that’s reminiscent of the past, but with a much more modern perspective.”

So, would you want to see Lisa Rinna reprise her Melrose Place role as Taylor McBride? Comment below.
