Having nuBilly moan about a girl he never met doesn’t play for me. I think it would have been better to write Billy out until they could find a suitable recast and give fans time without Billy Miller.

Burgess Jenkins is doing a terrific job as the new billy, You need to give him a chance. I am surprised, he is a great actor and hot too. lol.

He is. Just like the new Adam, all eyes are on the actor who is not Billy Miller. I give Burgess a ton of credit for his persistence and him taking the high road. These actors are human beings. The one big problem with Burgess, and yes he is handsome, he is taller, older, and he needs to relax his hair. Its hard to see him and Jack acting and Billy is supposed to be much younger. He looked really good and believable as Billy when he had a baseball hat on and him and Chelsea were playing ball. Keep your head up Burgess.

I have given him a chance, but I’m just not feeling it. I don’t think he’s that great an actor. I think they could have found someone better.

Like Adam. They let his heels cool and the MM story go away. Now Justin gets to walk in with a little less pressure but there will be plenty of comparisons, for sure. Billy was just shoved down our throats. David was a bust. Burgess is getting better. They need to keep him away from Victoria because when you see those two together you always think of Billy Miller.

Maria:

It has taken me a long time but Jenkins is starting to flesh out Billy as his own creation. Finally, I am seeing him as Billy. I think I would have warmed up to him faster had they not snatched David Tom away as Billy just when he was finding his footing.

I would love to see Chloe come back with Billys baby

I love the new Billy. He’s doing a fantastic job and I think he and Chelsea are going to be the next super couple. Now what can we call them “Chilly?’

I’m starting to get used to nuBilly….not completely. I agree that he is too old to play Billy, and to make it worse he looks much older than his 41 years.
Eventually, we will all accept him…..he’s doing fine.
Off subject, but I am so incensed over the affair between Hilary and Devon…actually, disgusted.
I wish Neil would suddenly get his vision back and catch them in the act so that this farce could finally end. I am so tired of this stupid triangle…which reminds me; didn’t Devon sleep with another of Neil’s ‘women’?
I can’t remember her name, but I think she was Devon’s half sister’s aunt?
This reminds me of the musical beds on GH.

I agree with your comment 100% CeeCee….nuBilly is kind of doing his gig and he is growing on me, good job..And I am also annoyed by this silly affair, much like in GH with Sonny and Carly…What its the point!!

What happen to the good old fashion affairs where you were actually cheering for the cheaters, lol…Hopefully Neil would be given some rewarding material, so he will showcase his acting talent when he finds out about the affair and end this nonsense!!…That said, Y&R is getting back on track!!!

I bet Neil’s vision will return and it’ll happen at the moment he catches Hil and Dev in bed together!!!

You’d think that sight would blind him all over again! Can’t stand Devon. Never could, never will.

@BMmom. Believe you me, my sentiments exactly. I just do not see Devon in a romantic role, period! Why does he always feel the need to feast on his father’s delights? Besides, I said this before….he looks 12. Could TPTB not have written Mackenzie to be the recipient of Catherine’s billions? Devon does not strike me as the savvy -billionaire -extraordinaire. He s@@ks at everything he does.
Please do something constructive with Hilucifer. I just do not get the reason for this role…..enough of Neil storylines….oh, and, enough of Nikki’s melodramas.

CeeCee…I think that I can clear things up here. Her name was Tyra…another TRAIN-WRECK CHICK that was all W-R-O-N-G for Neil!!!!! Anyway, I hope that I was helpful.

Peace.

Thanks, jaybird…pax to you too….later

The only thing that interests me is the return of Phyllis. I will not naysay her recast yet. But, I must comment on the fact that Phyllis would have sensed….caught on to the fact that something was awry with Jack….that he’s acting weirdly and uncharacteristically not Jack.

I want Phyllis to walk out of Jack’s life, pair up with Joe (yummy), and leave Jack with his tongue hanging down licking the footprints she left on the floor.
The Phyllis I knew would not have been so dull-witted. I mean, why isn’t she saying, “Huh ??!!”.
She should be able to discern that when Jack speaks of Billy, he is actually speaking of himself.
Plus, it must hurt Jack each and every time Phyllis refers to Kelly as ‘the whore’…LOL. No disrespect…..
Why is it that I feel no pity or feelings for Jack and Kelly? ….he just couldn’t wait…..and, she just had to have a taste of both brothers. It is for this exact reason that Y&R is well known…..family members indiscriminately sleep with each other without any qualms….sisters-in-law…brothers-in-law…..step fathers and mothers…..daughters and sons-in-law….etc.
Well, come to think of it, all soaps share this over-the-top trait.
I hope Gina delivers because none of the other storylines and lack-there-of is doing it for me. The thrill is gone.
Here goes Nikki again….always about her….so sick of it!
The Winters sick love triangle is not even worth mentioning any more.
The police department is standing on it’s last toe….really, how powerful can one Ian Ward be that gets away with all this stupidity?
And Victoria? Have the baby already!
I give up….but, as the idiot that I am, I’ll keep watching.

Burgess Jenkins still hasn’t grown on me. He is just…blah. FF material, which is too bad, because I like Chelsea and pretty much everyone else he shares scenes and storyline with.

‘General Hospital’s’ Steve Burton Shares Reaction to His Lead Actor Daytime Emmy Nomination, ‘It Was to Honor Leslie Charleson’

The 53rd Annual Daytime Emmy Award nominations kicked-off on Monday with the announcements of four major categories including, Outstanding Lead Performer in a Daytime Drama Series — Actor, and among the nominees is General Hospital’s Steve Burton (Jason Morgan).

Burton is already a two-time Daytime Emmy winner in the Supporting Actor category for his roles as GH’s Jason and his turn as Dylan McAvoy on Y&R. However, Steve is yet to win in the Lead Actor category and he has received 11 nominations along the way in his daytime career.

Following the reveal that he is a 2026 Daytime Emmy nominee, he and his GH co-star, podcast co-host and comedy show partner, Bradford Anderson (Spinelli) taped a special edition of their That’s Awesome podcast just featuring Burton’s reaction to the news.

FOR LESLIE CHARLESON

Steve expressed, “I know it’s such a cliche to say, ‘I’m just so honored to be nominated.’ But truly, I’m so grateful to be nominated, so grateful to just be on the show off and on for 30 plus years and to be nominated with the guys in my category. Just to get the opportunity. Frank (Valentini, executive producer, GH) texted me right away. I was just like, ‘Thank you for the opportunity to get to do what I do.'”

Taking in the moment, Burton thanked those who helped him select the material for his nominated reel. “Unless you win, you don’t get to say things. So. I’m going just say a few things: Elizabeth Korte (co-head writer, GH) helped me a lot with the material, (as did) Michelle Henry, who’s a producer on the show, Laura Wright (Carly, GH), and then my wife Michelle (Lundstrom). I believe it was Jill Phelps who told me that when A Martinez felt like he had a great show or great scenes, he would mark it down. So, when Emmy time comes, you have all the show numbers written down, and you don’t have to think about it, because that’s half the battle (finding the material).

Burton explained how meaningful this nomination is for him, because of playing the scenes of Jason losing Monica, and his closeness with the late, great Leslie Charleson.

“The nomination’s an amazing thing, and it’s beautiful, but really it’s to honor Leslie Charleson. A lot of my material was because of her, and how I started on the show as a Quartermaine, it just means a ton,” shared Burton. “Maurice Benard (Sonny, GH) has obviously has been instrumental, and I’ve said it from day one and I’ll shout it from the rooftops. If it wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t be here, and to be working with the people that we work with is incredible.”

SHOULD JOHN OLIVER BE NAMED HOST OF THE DAYTIME EMMYS?

During the end of his conversation with Anderson, Steve suggested that the host of the Daytime Emmy should be Last Week Tonight’s John Oliver, who recently guest starred as the head of the WSB named Z on General Hospital, and is soon to show up on Days of Our Lives in a mystery role in August.

Thus far, the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences has not revealed their host for the upcoming ceremony to be held on October 30 in a venue to be named in Hollywood, California.

You can watch Steve sharing his reaction to receiving his 2026 Lead Actor Daytime Emmy nomination below on a special segment on the That’s Awesome podcast.

Now let us know, are you glad that Steve chose scenes surrounding Jason mourning the loss of the woman that raised him, Monica Quartermaine for his Emmy reel? What do you think of John Oliver as a suggestion to host the Daytime Emmys? Weigh-in via the comment section below.
