Not thrilled with the sleezy new doctor switching Hope’s baby with the one the girl’s stillborn (“There was nothing you could have done, now go out into the storm.”) and giving it to the loan shark to settle his debt. Yeah, I know, his daughter Zoe’s life was threatened, but, geez. Today was tough to watch. BUT…Hope didn’t say ‘did-unt’ or ‘anyways’ once!

Poor little Beth. Will she be Kelly’s new baby sister?

Guess that is exactly what will happen. Big switcheroo. He sells Hope’s baby to blackmarket, tells Taylor where to find baby to adopt, gets all the money from sale of baby, plus Taylor’s undying gratitude. Two birds with one stone/baby. Not going to be watching this crap for a while.

Oh no. Not another baby switch. Right in front of our eyes?

Daytime Emmys Land Two-Year Deal At CBS; NATAS Reveals This Year’s Broadcast Set For June 25th

Some great news for daytime fans!  Following a deal announced today between National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) and CBS, the network now has a two-year deal to broadcast the Daytime Emmy Awards.

CBS will present this year’s 48th Annual Daytime Emm Awards, on Friday, June 25 (8:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network and it will stream live and on demand on Paramount+.   This will mark the 15th time CBS has broadcast the Daytime Emmy Awards, more than any other network. CBS also aired last year’s Daytime Emmys amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

In addition, this is the first time since 2008 that one network will broadcast both the Daytime and Primetime Emmy awards in the same year. CBS last hosted both specials in 2005.

The Daytime Emmy Awards have recognized outstanding achievement in daytime television programming since 1974.  The awards are presented to programs broadcast between 2:00 AM and 6:00PM, as well as all forms of children’s television programming and certain categories of streaming and syndicated content.

NATAS also revealed today that this year’s Daytime Emmys are the most competitive ever, with more than 3,100 submissions featuring content that originally premiered in calendar-year 2020, judged by a pool of peer professionals from across the television industry.

The 48th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards will be produced by NATAS and Associated Television International (ATI), which produced Daytime Emmy Award ceremonies on The CW in 2009 and on CBS in 2010, 2011 and 2020. Adam Sharp and Steve Ulrich are executive producers from NATAS, while David McKenzie is executive producer and director from ATI.

So excited about the Daytime Emmys will return to network TV for two more years guaranteed, and that we have a date for this year’s presentation this summer? Comment below.
