No nominations for Crystal Chappell and Hillary B Smith as best actress/drama?? No nomination for Elizabeth Keifer as best supporting actress/drama?? WTF!
It’s mind boggling that Jessica Leccia did not get a nomination for Best Supporting Actress. Jessica was excellent in EVERY episode of season 2 just as she was in season one. Leccia should have gotten a nomination. I’m going to give this awards show a miss.
Congratulations to Venice the Series for its well deserved nomination for Best Soap Opera. Bravo Crystal for writing a compelling story that made Season 2 must watch programming. Congratulations to Nadia Bjorlin and Jordan Clarke of Venice the Series for their supporting actress/actor nominations. Jordan was amazing. The Colonel’s walk to the mail box to send Gina’s letter to Ani was one of the most moving moments I have ever seen. Just one of many moments for him this season. I have never seen Nadia more raw as an actress. I agree with the first poster, I would have added Hillary B. Smith. Crystal was also fantastic but I think this year the nomination for best soap is more a credit to her talent than any other category nomination. Such a huge improvement from Season 1 to Season 2. And although they had their best material in the finale, Wes Ramsey and Gina Tognoni were also good this year.
I CANNOT BELIEVE CRYSTAL CHAPPELL DID NOT GET A NOMINATION!!!!!
Well I can’t believe that Jessica Leccia and Crystal Chappell, Hillary B Smith and Liz Keifer didn’t get a nomeny either these loadies did such a great and awesome work this season. If I had the power I would have give them all a reward cause they deserved it.
Incredible!! I can’t not believe Jessica Leccia did not get a nomination. Besides Crytal, she is the best thing @ Venice.
I don’t understand why Crystal did not get nominated.
All I know is that NB was so underrated for so long and finally more people are opening their eyes and seeing her amazing talent.I don’t need Emmy,or awards to know how amazing she is,I’m a huge fan of hers since 1999 but I’m so happy she’s finally starting to get some recognition,…not too soon.Congratulations Nadia.you stole the entire show
