If you’re going to release an enticing new promo for your upcoming series about supervillains and superheroes, best to drop it on National Superhero Day!

Thursday, April 28th IS National Superhero Day and the Disney Channel released its first look trailer for its new show, Villains of ValleyView.

As General Hospital fans know, James Patrick Stuart (Valentin Cassadine) is part of the ensemble cast playing Vic AKA Kraniac.

In story, when teenage supervillain Havoc stands up to the head of the League of Villains, her family is forced to change their identities and relocate to a sleepy Texas suburb. With the help of her effervescent new neighbor Hartley, Havoc – going incognito as “Amy” – must somehow hide her superpowers and quell her villainous nature in favor of something she and the rest of her family have fought against all their lives: being normal. “

No offense to Mr. Stuart, whom I actually have begun to enjoy as Valentin Cassadine. But is anyone else sick and tired of the deluge of superhero movies and television productions? Why does entertainment always swing in such extremes? I’m all for progress, and the diversity of channels and programs give work and extends the careers of both new and veteran performers and crew. But it’s WHAT they offer that I find most distressing. Not just comic book characters but witches, demons, depressing conspiracy dramas that take more twists and turns than Interstate 5 on a bad day, or gruesome… Read more »

You certainly speak my language, Soaphound. Extreme is a mild word describing this mish-mash fantasy which is running rampant on soaps, and then some. There should be no clemency given to such “offense”. I cannot find words to describe this horror better than you. None of these people has a concise thought in his/her head. Today, for instance—-The idea of Felicia having a baby, or even thinking about having a baby is so out of touch with, not only, reality but also with a female’s age and reproductive system. Felicia is past her bearing years and beyond. I guess women… Read more »

I think he needs to keep his day job on GH. Super Heroes and Villians. We see enough of them on the Soaps.

Finn Carr is General Hospital’s New Rocco Falconeri

Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Lulu’s son, Rocco is getting a new look! Enter young actor, Finn Carr, who will take over the role on-air beginning this week.

Carr is very familiar to TV fans who have watched Hot in Cleveland, Fuller House, Criminal Minds and more.  He has also appeared in streaming series for Netflix including Alexa & Katie, and most recently in an episode of Paramount+’s, I Carly.

Now that Rocco is a bit older (with Carr taking over the role), will he figure more into the story of Dante/Sam’s (Kelly Monaco) relationship, and the arrival of Dante’s buddy, Cody (Josh Kelly) on to the Port Charles scene?

The role of Rocco was first played by twins through 2017. Since then, Mason Tannous, O’Neill Monahan, and Brady Bauer have all played the part at one time or another.  In story, it was actually Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) who carried baby Rocco when she was implanted with Dante and Lulu’s stolen embryo.

Soap Opera Digest first reported this latest ‘Rocco’ casting switch in their latest issue on newsstands now.

So, please welcome Finn to the cast of GH in the comment section below!
