In this week’s promo for Days of our Lives via NBC, it’s not looking so good for Nick Fallon (Blake Berris)!

After causing havoc in the lives of so many residents of Salem, it would only seem fitting that someone might want to shoot the guy! From the looks of this promo, a bunch of your favorite characters are gathered around to witness a bloody scene!

In it, Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) screams “He’s been shot!” as Nick looks up at many of the people who he loathed and who loathed him! So this begs the question, is this promo a dream sequence? Is this the real shooting of Nick Fallon? Is he a a goner?

Watch the promo after the jump and let us know your thoughts! And one more thing; if you feel as many do that Blake Berris should have been nominated in the Outstanding Supporting Actor category in this year’s Daytime Emmy race, weigh-in on that too!

Whoever did it should have kept on shooting till they also got Julie right in her big fat flapping mouth.
Unless they shot him in his derriere they missed his brain.

There’s nothing wrong with Julie loving and supporting Nick. It’s not her fault that people are leaving her in the dark.

Julie is my favorite since the late 60s and i never want to see her killed off…i like Nick but i did predict this would happen a long time ago!!!

I wish I could agree but she never lets anyone get a word in edgewise. And I see her a lot more concerned about NIck and pretty insensitive about what he did to Will, and he’s just as much her cousin as Nick is. I don’t see her being fair at all.
I don’t really want her killed off either but I do want her to eat a HUGE piece of humble pie- and apologize profusely to Will for pushing Nick on him and demanding he forgive him. In any case, she has no business telling anyone other than herself how to respond and feel about somebody.
If that’s not pushy I don’t know what is.

Disagree. I love Julie and wish she were on more.

Why is everyone forgetting the Hit man. he was there watching and waiting for the perfect hit. The cast was all there , Gabby arrived a little late, but not enough time for these guys to have done it .

With Gabi leaving in the next month or so she’s the most obvious person to have shot Nick but i hope the show doesn’t make her the shooter because IMO that would be a letdown. Now i’m sure Gabi leaving will have something to do with Nick getting shot but maybe not the way we think it will/

Wow, DAYS is going there?!!! I hope Nick will be OK! DAYS needs the scoundral more than ever!

Blake Berris was snubbed big time! He deserves the recognition.

The emmy process needs to be changed. Just look what happened to GH!

DOOL rocks and so does Blake Berris!!!

I agree with you 4everDAYS..He deserved an emmy nod and probably the win for his superb work..I do not like the idea of shows summiting who should get nominated in each category..That is why the daytime emmys are sooo predictable and many actors receive multiple awards/nomination even when they did not have their best work..That is the “thing” that really needs to change.

I agree, DOOL, needs all the talent, on their side…. Blake Berris… is an intelligent, charismatic, big draw

with the exit : of EJ and Sami

Nick should be elevated to LEADing Man stat

he’ more than proven he can carry and further DOOL

i had hoped… there was some spark with Sheryl… Nick and Lucas coulda had more rounds over

Nick could be good with Theresa

They shoot Julie too and put her outta her misery! I love days so much!!!!!!

My money is on Gabi– lately she has been looking like a caged animal who about to lose all hope and I could see her snapping and shooting Nick, maybe with a gun that belongs to either Sonny or Will, so they would be arrested for attempted murder. Then I could see Rafe shipping his sister to some relatives out of town for her protection as the way to write character off the canvas. Also if Arianna’s welfare is at stake I can see Sonny and Will allowing her to go with Gabi into protective custody.

It is always the one you would never expect, I would put my money on the English gentleman who helped Nick. My reasons for picking him is that he will blame Nick for him being on the Dimera. radar and Nick tried to blackmail him with something that drove him over the edge. As much as Gabi. has become a pain in her weak will with Nick, I would hate to see her go to prison or an insane asylum for such a despicable person!

Percy. He realizes Nick is evil and feels that he helped harm Gabi by saving him.

Percy! Percy! Percy! I predicted a long time ago someone would shoot Nick(i thought he’d be killed off)…Gabi, Sami and E.J. too obvious…so im sticking with Percy!!!

Caroline could also be a suspect…maybe with her forgetfullness she mistook Nick for a robber…but my first choice from my prediction months ago remains Percy!!!

Adrienne or Maggie! Cover your eyes for this shocker…Julie!!!

I doubt gabi shot nick she lost her brain to nick and was stupid enough to fall back in love with him. I hope it’s not a dream sequence I really hope and pray nick is a goner moor good this time . He ruined dool abc the actor deserves no awards what so ever . Kill nick . Die nick die and stay dead .

I agree that Blake Berris got robbed at Emmy nom time; but so did Freddie Smith. I can’t stand Nick, but he’s such a delicious villain mostly because Berris is such a good actor.

Secretly, I really hope it’s someone like little Ciara — who is a terrible character — but I’m sure it will end up being someone not on the canvas. It would be kind of fun, though, if it was Sami — her last hurrah offing Nick Fallon.

Except I suspect Nick ain’t all that dead!

Wow, Nick gets killed twice within a year! Now that’s a great soap villain! Blake Barris should have gotten an Emmy nomination. His snub just shows how phony the whole process is. How did James Scott now get nominated? Such crap.

I just started watching Days and can see that Nick is nothing but trouble. I definitely understand why those women put him in the river. Too bad he didn’t stay there. But, after years of watching soaps, I know water deaths very rarely take. Hopefully, this bullet to the chest will do the trick.

OMG, DOOL has created another bloodthirsty fan! I welcome you! LOL!!!

Its just the DOOL writers overusing a storyline again where its not really happening. YAWN

but thanks for the warning to skip this day.

well it is kind of predictable..and for months Nick had the upper hand..it got old..that being said Blake Berris is an awesome actor, i hope to see him outside of daytime pretty soon.

His cousins are the scum of the earth. I don’t care what mine does, if they’re shot in front me, I’m going to run to them. And then there’s Lucas “the decent person” turning away. Thank God Julie is there for him.

I wish they’d run to him too, and give him a good kick in the tuckus. He needs to be reminded what a scumbag he is before he takes his long dirt nap.

He’s been a really, really good villian to enjoy hating, I’ll give him that. But not the smartest guy, considering who he has been messing with.

I think it is Gabi as well, I forget who it was in an interview said ‘Gabi will do something terrible’ so I assume that this is just that…

I was hoping Nick would somehow be redeemed…he is an amazing actor…very talented ..it would be a shame to lose him as well as Ej and Sami…

I am still reeling with the news that EJ will be off our screens as well….

Not too much left to watch after that…

Maggie and Hope double shot Nick Fallon LOL. Really the likely choice is Sammy since she is going off the show this year and this will be an exciting way for her to leave as she finally goes to prison for murder.

It could also be one of Nick’s ‘friends’ from prison. I know they already did that story shortly after Nick got out, but it might be worth revisiting. I am voting on Percy. Of course, it could also be an intervention by Stephano.

Blake Berris totally should have been nominated in the Best Supporting Actor or Best Younger Actor category! He was totally robbed! Blake is a great and exciting young actor!

I don’t think Nick will die! I won’t be surprised if he’s not actually the one who gets shot!

I really hate Nick Fallon; and I don’t love to hate him-I just hate him! Gabi is leaving Salem, maybe she got a clue and shot him? It could be just about anyone! I can only imagine Julie’s hysterics!

Just because he gets shot doesn’t mean he won’t pull through in typical soap opera fashion such as Daniel’s recent “oh, it was just a flesh wound, a few stiches and I will be fine” while Liam ended up dead with a Tree stump through him (that was so insanely stupid and laughable).

My money is on Gabby. I think that Ej and Sami are going to assume it was their ” gun for hire ” that got the job done, but it will later be revealed that he was beat to the punch, leaving Ej and Sami to wonder who actually fired the shot. I believe that Gabby is going to find the gun that Sonny got from Victors house in her apartment and is going to finally snap and shoot Nick.

I am finished with dool. You take one of the best actors off the show and expect to keep viewers . Nick fallon and nicole make the show. I tape the show and because its so boring it takes me only a few minutes to scroll thru it. So now I’ll have an extra hour to watch something less boring. Thank you days!

I agree that it wasn’t the hired killer who shot Nick. The Killer didn’t have a silencer on his gun—-and we had those scenes of Sonny and the silencer (doesn’t every family have a lovely wood display box for their 9mm and a silencer?)—also, a hired killer would’ve shot Nick in the head as well as chest. I think the above watchers could be right—Gabi found the gun (which we’ll see in yet another “flashback”) and did the deed, sloppily. And it was from the back, so Nick can’t pinpoint the shooter (unlike GH recent killings).

Of course, Sonny will go thru hell, as it was his family’s gun and will have his prints on it.

I hope Nick survives—I’m still trying to argue with my other DOOL friends why he deserves to die? Didn’t everyone else involved have the burden of guilt for past actions? Nick held the cards on everyone, that’s about it. And YES! I think Berris should’ve gotten a nod. He’s the best bit of acting on the show! Kudos to Sydney for her screaming reaction to seeing his bloody entrance into Horton Square!!!!

Ooops–sorry. The killer did have a silencer (I’m a day behind!) LOL

Okay all–time to turn in my DOOL card!!! LOL It was Ally who screamed when she saw Nick. And I just saw next week’s promos—and am so very sorry that Nick is gone. Hope Berris is moving on and shows up in another soap, primetime or major motion picture!
