Last night Twitter was abuzz as a many a soap fan gathered around the television set to watch ABC’s Celebrity Wife Swap, the soap edition!  In it, two couples were featured and as is the premise of the show, the guys have to switch wives for one week, where for part of the week the woman lives by the gents rules , and the tables are turned for the latter part of the week.  In the end, the couples come together to discuss their experience with one another.

General Hospital’s Tyler Christopher (Nikolas) and wife Brienne Pedrigo, and their four-year-old son Greysun were one of the featured families. And what was shown was that:  Tyler has a very definitive calorie counting regimen and is the chef of the house. He loves his son Greysun more than anything, and he and Brienne love the beach, being outdoors exercising, and are not prone to huge public displays of affection.

As counter point to them, the former star of The Bold and the Beautiful Ronn Moss (Ex-Ridge) and his wife Devin Devasquez were the other couple in the wife swap.  Moss was shown to have very overt romantic gestures to his wife, drinks wine, loves to be his “man cave”- the garage rehearsing with his band Player, but does not dig the outdoors so much, and neither did his wife, Devin.

But as for Devin, she was shown to really gravitate towards Tyler’s son and wanted to teach him some table manners and new foods during the wife swap. Devin, who works on social media for herself and Ronn, tried to get Tyler Christopher to do a little video on the beach to help engage his fans and for him to open up a bit.  For Brienne , she tried to get Ronn to get outside and go for a ride with her on tandem bicycle, and she did so by first taping off his garage so he would not go near it.  That did not go so well!

Two different couples with two different perspectives!  After watching the episode, who surprised you the most and why? Tyler, Brienne, Ronn or Devin?  Let us know!

Tyler Christopher weighing his food all the time is odd, do not know many that do this unless they are training for a competition…Ronn Moss being naked does not surprize me at all!!

OK here goes. For a reality show.I liked it. I liked all four of the couples. They all came out looking fine. The Christopher’s son is adorable. No one came out looking like an ass ,as others have done on other shows. It was nice seeing Tyler is not a prince, He is on TV so counting calories is perfectially acceptable. Ron Was very loving to his wife, and they all pretty much followed the rules. No one looked to be angry all the time. I enjoyed it !

Agree with everything you said. It was odd for one of these shows because there’s usually so many fights and squabbles.

Ronn Moss! Strange to say the least lol He was too touchy feely with Brienne. What he does with his own wife is his own business, but touching and treating Brienne the way he did was just creepy. He and Devin were both a tad condescending to both Tyler and Brienne. I did like the way Devin was with Greysun though.

I was most surprised by Tyler Christopher. For some reason I thought in real life he’d smile and laugh a little more easily. Ron Moss was as creepy as I thought he’d be, although I liked that he didn’t seem to mind that his wife isn’t stick thin. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed the show. And yes, Grayson is absolutely adorable.

It’s “Greysun”, he’s part Native American.

My biggest shock was Ronn Moss’ house! How can he afford that “manor”? LOL.

I found both Ronn and Tyler a bit strange. Ronn was a tad inappropriate in certain aspects with Brienne. Tyler was a little weird with the calorie counting. I can understand it with him, he’s on television, especially soaps where your appearance is key, I can understand his strict diet- but for his wife and kid? If my husband was counting MY calories, I’d slap him silly.

Ronn Moss came across creepy to me. Tyler is a little bossy but nothing over the top. Enjoyed the show.

I think Ronn is too selfish to be any kind of a real dad. He is the teenager in his house and he’s happy!
Tyler has to watch his weight, it’s part of his gig. Yes, lighten up.
These shows are so edited to have juice.
Producers did a good job finding counter lifestyles.
It was entertaining.. . the beach seemed way more fun than the over sized, over styled, staged house!

I assumed that alot of the “fights” between the swapped couples was exaggerated or staged and I didn’t take that part of the show too seriously. I was very interested to see how Tyler lives, and Ronn Moss, and I’m sure we did get more than a peek into the relationships of the actual couples and their lives. The part that seemed the most sincere was Devin’s feelings for Tyler’s son. I thought that was real and touching. Plus, it was good to see Ronn again.

As I previously mentioned on the post before this one, Devin surprised me the most in that she came across as much more together and grounded than I expected. She really keeps things moving at “Chez Moss,” and her forte’ in the kitchen was certainly impressive….not the stereotypical Hollywood wife who cannot even boil water! I also admired her true partnership with Ronn…they seem to have an amazing and affectionate bond. Their playful nature was really sweet…just goes to show that 40+romances needn’t be staid or boring! As for Ronn….quite the saucy one, isn’t he???? Somehow I just knew that his reveal about his “song performance” was forthcoming….like he couldn’t wait until the end of the show to share that little tidbit with the Christophers…and all of America!!!! LOL. That being said, I found it all to be in good fun, although if I had my druthers, I would much rather visit the Moss residence, as I am also not a sun and beach person!!!!

I just saw some clips of what went on & I went away very sad! I think my problem with Ronn’s wife is she just can’t put a sock in it and Mr. Moss needs to keep his shirt on for the camera and in the day he was a stud. Old father time has not been kind.

LOL, k/kay, and you say I’m the one whose sarcasm knows no bounds!!!! Yes, Devin can come off as a bit, um, too enthusiastic, but I think her heart is in the right place….I honestly expected her to be much more off the wall, so I was pleasantly surprised she was actually pretty subdued in comparison to my preconceived notions . As for Ronn, I just wanted to see what must be his massive collection of scarves….the fact we didn’t get a tour of his walk-in was a disappointment to me. I also liked that he was into dressing (and covering up) for dinner….sounds like Rod Stewart, albeit on a somewhat less grander scale!

@k/kay….Although I didn’t follow Ronn’s career that much after I quit watching B&B—post-Thorne2 and pre-Thorne3—I do recall the brouhaha that followed his departure from that soap due to his wife’s social media postings and also that there were some rumblings then about prior unflattering personal comments she had made in the past regarding the ex-wife…..not privy to the specifics, but overall, probably NOT a good idea! That is, in fact, why I expected Devin to come off as sort of loopy, pushy, and maybe really high-maintenance and self-absorbed?…I certainly would not have pegged her as being so nurturing, devoted, capable and domesticated. Perhaps those positive qualities also caused her to be a tad too passionate when it came to sharing, opining and defending her husband in the public domain? Hard to say, but overall, I was left with a favorable impression of her after viewing the show, and that was not something I thought I would! Hence, I give her the benefit of the doubt!

I just finished watching the show OnDemand.

Hhahaha Shay! Even on this we disagree! Ron and his wife have a true partnership? The way he struts around and has her feeding his bandmates, cooking for their guests, getting drinks for the band, telling her how to dress…(I assume he does all these things…or as much as we’re led to believe from these “reality” shows…by the way he treated Tyler’s wife.) Her nude pics on the wall? Yes, I’m sure she loves showing them off…but I found their relationship simultaneously very loving, sexual…yet like Ron loves his playboy bunny who would do the world for him.

As for Tyler and Brienne…they came across as much more down-to-earth…though Tyler really seemed reserved, controlling and regimented. Didn’t see much personality there. He claims he’s not like Nicolas, yet his “aunt Alexis” is always telling him to be less proper and cut loose a bit more…I see a similarity though on a different financial scale with less entitlement.

Overall the show for me was like a peepshow…LOL…just peeping in to see what their homes/wives look like. It was an interesting look…I didn’t find any of them offensive or unlikeable….

Ron has a cute, smirky sarcasm about him. His wife, even with her “wifey” role seems sharp/bright.

Tyler is one handsome dude; his wife seems very girl-next-doorish and earthy. Spencer…ahem…I mean Greysun…was beyond adorable…

@rebecca1….Well, I know I am going to raise the feminists’ hackles, but here goes anyway! I have no problem with Devin and what you seem to view as her role of subservience…..Ronn’s dual music/soap career has obviously handsomely provided for a fine lifestyle for the both of them to enjoy, and I view her contributions as no less important than his….she supports his social media efforts to keep his loyal fans in the loop, furnishes a gracious home with obvious love, business-like management and tasty home-cooked meals that she takes pride in preparing and seems very happy and fulfilled in that capacity….who are we to judge???? That is what some of us would say constitutes a most successful marriage, and yes, a partnership as each person brings their own strengths to that union!!! This couple seems to thrive on marching to the beat of their own drummer in the privacy of their palatial love lair, and at the beginning and end of the day they are there for each other…..certainly worse things a woman can face in this world!!!! As for Devin’s “Playboy” past, that was a path she chose for herself decades ago, and she is content with her image as a former “Bunny,”…..it is part of her personal history….so what??? It’s not as if Ronn found some indecently young girl to exploit and promote in that respect for his own ego gratification….these two came into each others’ lives as grown adults and have created what by all indications is a very cool, charming and devoted relationship…..it’s a lovely thing to behold. Quite frankly, I found Brienne as being much more “under the thumb” of her man than Devin. Although I totally respect Tyler’s commitment to healthy living for himself and his family, he is extremely controlling in both the dietary and living departments….it were as if his wife didn’t quite know what to do once she was cut loose from his apron strings for that week….the “deer in the headlights” look was a dead-giveaway to me! That’s not to say that I didn’t like her, but whereas Devin bloomed and flourished in her independence—especially with Graysun—Brienne shrank in hers….although some people found Ronn’s attempts to be “friendly” too familiar and off-putting, I think he was just trying to loosen her up a bit with his perhaps overly-flirtatious nature. I didn’t find anything untoward about it….I actually laughed, as we all know guys who are like that! He didn’t cross the line….she just was really taken aback and didn’t appear to know how to respond, which rather puzzled me….surely living in L.A. she must know how to schmooze and mingle with entertainment types, even if her wifely and motherly duties keep her at home for the most part. I also think that the differences between the two couples may be down to age….there is a generational gap and thus, their concepts and experiences as to what constitutes a suitable home life would be vastly different. The one unifying thing I noticed about both couples was that they seemed to have found the right match for themselves, and that was a really nice thing to see….there were no major drama queens or trainwrecks that are seemingly de rigueur for reality programming. Overall, this was a fun and interesting show to experience!!!!! (Even though it won’t turn me into a regular viewer….)

@ Shay I have no problem with Devin and her love for Ronn just sometimes she came off as too much. She did a social media blog a few years ago about Ronn’s ex and said some things that we did not need to know and his daughters did not need to read that. I did think it was funny that she said she did not know how to deal with children when she has helped Ronn raise his daughters. I am sure that was scripted. The best part for me was trying to pick which lifestyle I liked best I decided BOTH! Lol!!!

I agree; there’s nothing wrong with her having been in Playboy. I just said it’s an “interesting” form of art to have hanging all over the walls and for some reason I felt like I was watching Hef with one of his ladies… And I also don’t think there’s anything wrong in Devin handling the PR for Ron…she seems quite capable as well as personable. But Ron came off to me as a bit sexist…though she doesn’t seem like anyone’s pushover…When Brienne had to go in and serve the “boys” drinks…and go shopping for what they wanted…it was a tad too much for me. I’d be like…”get it yourself…” UNLESS I was already on my way out to do some shopping. (if they do everything together they should have had that stuff stocked in the house.) Overall, if I can believe it wasn’t all put on for the show, I agree that it works for them. They seem happy and in love.

As for Tyler’s wife…she’s no deer in the headlights. She’s a e pit reporter for ESPN on NASCAR…I just think it was a look of disbelief when he asked her to go shopping, wear her hair down and refused to ride the freaking bike! LOL.

Cute couples all around.

“Hef with one of his ladies…” LOL, rebecca1! Yeah, I suppose that “server role” rubbed a lot of women the wrong way!!! But I wasn’t one of them…..those boys in the band are like family, so Devin was just being a gracious hostess….it’s her thing, and being Southern, I don’t think she finds it to be demeaning at all. But I have friends like you who would definitely see that task as uncool….I’m just one of those rare birds that doesn’t view things through that much of a feminist prism….a lot of issues that really ruffle others feathers don’t phase me, yet I’m definitely no pushover either!!!!! (As for the grocery shopping, a lot of women prefer to do it themselves….they get exactly what they want/need and not a lot of the junk they don’t if their man hits the market instead!!!!) But I can take your point….still, I remain less impressed with Brienne. Probably because she is just a bit too low-maintenance, outdoorsy and chill for my taste, but I applaud her efforts. However, I remain with Ronn on the bike riding the second time around, and I also agree that women look better with their hair down and dressed up, so I didn’t find his request unreasonable….go ahead, call me a traitor to the so-called “sisterhood”…..it certainly wouldn’t be the first time I’ve heard that!!!! ; )

Not sure if it’s okay to post links here…Shay (etc) if interested…this LOL contradicts quite a bit about the Moss stay-inside household…seems he likes biking too (maybe not a bicycle built for two but still…) and is a tad more outdoorsy and exercise conscious than portrayed. Seems like it was necessary to build the contrast of the two couples. Or…they could have emphasized differences that they REALLY DID HAVE!

Woman’s Day March 30, 2009. Google it.

Actually, my favorite was Brienne. What a delight! down to earth and charming, not to mention a GREAT sport! I’ve always been a Tyler Christopher fan, but she is a real asset to him.

Ron and his wife live a pretentious life and Tyler and his wife live a normal life. I wish that Tyler would smile, laugh, and be less serious. He actually said that he was going to try to relax more. He needs to watch what he eats b/c of having to take his shirt off on the soap and he competes with younger guys there too.
I enjoyed the show and both wives were very, very nice and not purposely trying to hurt one another.

Back when Nikolas and Lizzy were having that vile affair while hapless un-Lucky was shopping for wedding rings, Tyler was going through his fat Elvis period.
I called him Chubby Bunny back in those days.
So, good for him for using those Weight Watcher scales and counting his points.

Ron Moss was odder to me in his home life…. unless that was just for the show.

And what is with all those scarves looped around his neck, or the bandana tied around his neck?

I think Tyler weighing his food is a little odd, but if he has a problem with his metabolism and needs to keep a certain weight for the camera, I can see why he’d be concerned.

The best part was Ron’s wife got to “have” a child for a week……. maybe they can adopt or she could go work with kids, and let Ron take care of his own social media while she’s doing something more meaningful. 🙂

I thought I was going to hate ronn moss wife and surprise I really like her, both soap stars spouses were very likable, I found the guys more odd but it’s not the end of the world, both couples were more normal then not .

Ronn Moss and his wife are so over the top. His wife is just so pathetic. She actually thinks she’s a Hollywood celeb. Not to mention how condescending – her comment about Tyler’s house was so inappropriate …she once again has made herself look like a complete ass all by herself.

Omg! I just watched my recorded episode with Ronn Moss and let me tell you, I found him creepy as hell. All that cappuccino shirtless serving was just pathetic. The way he is looking at you is creepy, even though I think is intended to be romantic. I think the dude confuses romantic with creepy. Sheesh! I do not want to see him again. I was afraid he will try to rape that lady at some point. Very very disturbing. The other dude was just too rigid. No smiles, very serious, not laid back at all. His counting calories is whatever he has his reasons. But man, Ronn Moss?! Nah!

GH and OLTL Alum Patrick J. Gibbons Reveals the Story Behind Writing Trina’s Song on ‘General Hospital’ (Exclusive)

Patrick J. Gibbons

At the conclusion of today’s August 21 episode of General Hospital, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) sings a lullaby to baby Dez, that went into a montage to close out the episode as her father Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) reports to Pentonville and winds up in his jail cell.

However, in a fun fact, the song entitled, “A Lonely Heart To Give” was actually written by none other than former One Life to Live and General Hospital actor, Patrick J. Gibbons.

Daytime fans first met Gibbons as Sam Manning on One Life to Live. At the time, when he started on the soap, he was just 5-years-old. Gibbons played the part from 2010-2013 on ABC and Prospect Park’s editions of the show. Fast-forward to 2018, Gibbons shows up on General Hospital as Wyatt Hoover, the scout who seemed always be injured, but in the thick of the drama. Patrick had appeared on GH multiple times as Wyatt including: 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023.

FROM HIS GRANDMOTHER’S DEATH CAME THE INSPIRATION FOR HIS SONG

Now in 2026, General Hospital fans are getting to learn about another side of Gibbons’ talent as a songwriter and guitar player after “A Lonely Heart to Give” debuted today! Michael Fairman TV caught up with Patrick, who is now a senior at Penn State entering his final year as a finance major, to get the back-story of how his song wound up on GH!

Gibbons explained he wrote the song in honor of his grandmother who passed away a few years ago with whom he was, very, very close with. “Randomly, my grandmother had a downfall and passed away during the second semester of my sophomore year. I was in my dorm a lot and I was just playing with my guitar. And at the time, I was really into finger-style playing. I wrote the lyric and music to it (with a little help from my guitar teacher Lou), and my mom showed the rough demo to Frank Valentini (EP, General Hospital). He’s like an uncle to me. Frank loved it so much he said, “Finish that up. I want to hear the whole thing, and I want it on the show.”

MAKING MUSIC FOR GENERAL HOSPITAL

Gibbons and his parents took the next steps! “So now, all we needed was a female voice, because I thought that would fit the song well,” Patrick shared. “At the golf club we go to my parents were at a dinner. They liked the singer that was performing and spoke to her about the song, and she says she would like to bring it to her ‘boss’ who ended up being Eric Bazilian of the Hooters fame!” (Bazilian also wrote the smash hit song “One of Us” for Joan Osborne).

Next, “We went in the studio and recorded it and the song came together and it was beautiful. We loved it. They loved it at General Hospital and now they’re putting it the show and they are coming in with a piano, instead of a guitar. Paul Glass, the GH musical director, has been keeping us updated over the last six months of how it was coming along, and when it would air, and how GH put their own arrangement to it. I can’t wait to see and hear what they did with it.”

PATRICK’S ONE LIFE TO LIVE FAMILY

Everyone knows that the One Life to Live extended family share a very tight bond, and Patrick said he does stay in touch with a few of his former One Life to Live co-stars, especially those from the Manning family! “I stayed in touch with Kassie DePaiva (ex-Blair) and sent her little videos here and there. She was like my second mom for five years. We keep in contact with Kristen Alderson (ex-Starr) over X the most, and she can’t believe how big I’ve gotten. Like, none of them can! (laughs). I also loved working with Roger Howarth (ex-Todd) and Trevor St. John (ex-Todd and Victor Jr.), and to me since I was so young, they were just my friends, ‘Roger and Trevor,’ not Todd Manning or Victor Jr.”

It was a trip to California and a visit to Port Charles that ultimately led to Gibbons second soap role of Wyatt Hoover. Patrick explains, “In 2016, Frank Valentini invited us out to Los Angeles to visit the set of General Hospital. I think he heard me say, ‘This is so much fun. I miss being on the set.’ He goes, ‘You should come out. I’ll bring you on the show. We can make you a character.'”

A few years later, Patrick’s dream became a reality! “Then, by the summer of 2018, I was playing Wyatt, the scout, and shared scenes with Wes Ramsey (Peter August), and the best was when I shared a scene with Roger Howarth and Michael Easton (ex-John, OLTL and ex-Silas, Finn et al, GH), it was like chemistry from the old days.”

Photo: PGibbons

IT’S ALL IN THE NUMBERS

As to his future aspirations, it’s a career in the finance game that has piqued Gibbons’ real-life interest. But never say never to a return to acting. Patrick explained, “I’ve always enjoyed numbers. And on top of that, one of the biggest parts of finance is being personable and outgoing.”

He continued, “That’s one of the greatest skills I developed growing up. I really love the markets. I’m super interested. I’m never going to close the door to acting. I’m always open to that because I just love it so much. It’s such a great art.”

Take note! If there are any investment bankers or private equity folks among the GH faithful looking for a young analyst next year, Patrick’s DMs are open. You can find him on X at @PatrickJGibbons.

So, what did you think of the song sung by Trina on today’s GH that was written by Patrick J. Gibbons? Did you enjoy Patrick’s performances as One Life’s Sam and GH’s Wyatt? Would you like to see him back on GH at some point? Let us know via the comment section.

‘General Hospital’ Alum Chad Duell Admits That He Didn’t Expect the Role of Michael Corinthos to be Recast, and Would Consider Working on Another Soap (Exclusive)

Published

on

By

Chad Duell, the Daytime Emmy-winning actor, who stepped away from the pivotal role of Michael Corinthos on General Hospital, opened up about: his previous decision to leave the series after nearly 15 years, where’s he’s at now after time away from the demands of a daytime soap opera, and took a stroll down memory lane with some of Michael’s most-acclaimed storyline during his run, during a livestream chat on August 19 on You Tube’s Michael Fairman Channel.

Viewers last saw Duell on-screen as Michael in January of 2025, and with his successor in the role, Rory Gibson making his debut at the GH Nurses’ Ball in episodes that aired later in May. It was clear that during the conversation, Chad was a bit surprised that the GH brass decided to recast him when he thought he was just taking some much needed time off.

Burn-out of the daily grind of being on a soap was definitely a part of Chad’s decision to take a break. Duell explained “People know when you’re doing something for so long or your character is kind of in the same place for so long or doing the same stuff over and over again, you do get a a little burnt out, you get a little stiff, stale, a little stiff at times. I didn’t want that to be any sort of lasting impression. I have 15 years of a body of work of I’ve done on that show, which is fantastic.”

WHILE CHAD WAS AWAY GH RECAST MICHAEL CORINTHOS WITH RORY GIBSON

Chad shared, his mindset when leaving GH was, “I’m taking some time away, we’ll see what happens.” Then he added, “Obviously, they decided to go in a different direction with Michael when I was gone. I didn’t think they were going to bring somebody back in my place. But you know, it’s the business. You never know what can happen.”

Duell also shared he has not watched a single episode of General Hospital since he left the series, but now feels he reenergized following the loss of his father and stepping away from the GH, “I’m in a place now mentally, where I’m ready to sink my teeth into it again.”

Courtesy/ABC

Even though he is no longer Michael on GH, Chad was very happy with his final storyline where Michael was set on fire when a bomb exploded at Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) penthouse. “It was fun to put him in a dangerous situation, because I was wanting Michael to be in something scary instead of trying to be a hero character or just things happening around him, but to be the center point of tragedy happening to him. (I always saw) Michael as the heart of the (Corinthos) family.”

When Michael was badly burned the show chose not burn his face, which normally a soap does when they are recasting role and switching actors. Chad weighed-in, “They didn’t burn my face because I told Frank Valentini (EP, GH) I’m willing to come back. It was just a little bit of a break. So, I assumed that if they would have burned my face, they could have brought somebody back looking different than me… if that’s what their plan was.”

MEMORABLE MICHAEL STORYLINES

One of Chad’s most memorable performances was the in the storyline of Michael’s rape while he was sentenced to prison in 2010 and the confession of it in 2011. “It was so well-written and I was very nervous,” recalled Chad. “When I get really nervous about something, it ends up being really good when I do it, because it just means I care a lot about it”

“I have to put a lot of effort and work into it, and I really want it to be good.  I was working with Dominic  Zamprogna (Dante) and Steve Burton (Jason) a lot during those scenes, and Laura Wright (Carly). It was great working with Steve and Dominic, especially, during that storyline.

A NEW SOAP ROLE FOR CHAD?

As to a future soap opera role, Chad is open to the idea and would love to jump back in to a juicy role, “I know people over at The Bold and the Beautiful, and The Young and the Restless. They know that if they’re interested, I would love to come in for a screen test or something, and they can see what I’m doing.”

Meanwhile, Chad has been busy putting out new music under the moniker Duelly and during the interview he explains how he creates his EDM tracks and much more. You can stream his latest single, Static in the Quiet Room on Spotify, Apple Music and You Tube Music.

You can check out the full conversation with Chad Duell below.

Now let us know: what show would you like to see Chad cast on down the line? BTG, DAYS, B&B, Y&R, or a new role on GH? What did you think of his thoughts on the casting switch while he was away in the role of Michael? What was your favorite Michael storyline during Chad’s 15-year run on the ABC soap opera? GENERAL HOSPITAL: Ric’s History of Jealousy Where Elizabeth is Concerned Has Come Back Around

Published

on

By

Ric

On General Hospital, Ric Lansing (Rick Heart) is about to fall back into dangerous old patterns by the foreshadowing during the Wednesday, August 19 episode. After first coming to see his brother, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and telling him of his plan to propose to Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) his longtime love tonight, Sonny has concerned.

Next, Sonny reminds his brother of what has happened in the past, when things have gone south with Elizabeth and wonders if it’s too soon for him to propose to her. What Ric did not tell Sonny is that he has seen the developing closeness between Sonny’s son, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Elizabeth, which is propelling his urgent need to propose.

Meanwhile, Dante ran into Elizabeth at the park during a break from their mutual team softball games. She needs help with a bookcase after the game at her house. Dante wants to put it together for her. Later, Dante arrived at Elizabeth’s house, limping after injuring his knee during the game. Head nurse Liz wanted to check out the injury as much as Dante protested, which required him to take off his pants.

RIC BEGINS TO UNRAVEL

Outside Elizabeth’s widow, Ric arrives with a bouquet of roses and the engagement ring. When he leers through the widow he is shocked to see Elizabeth rubbing Dante’s leg while Dante is in his boxer/shorts. He storm troops into the house, demanding to know what is going on here? Both Elizabeth and Dante look surprised by his reaction. In the pick-up of today’s Thursday, August 20 episode (see GH video teaser below), viewers will learn the upshot for all three characters.

A VENGEFUL PAST

As longtime GH fans know, Ric has done some horrible, vengeful things in regards to Elizabeth starting back in 2003 after she lost her baby after Ric’s ex, Faith Rosco pushed her down a flight of stairs. Ric accused Sonny for the accident and to get revenge, Ric kidnapped Carly (who was married to Sonny at the time), and stashed her in a panic room below the house where he was living with Liz.

On top of that, Ric fed his wife Elizabeth birth control pills to keep her from getting pregnant so that they could raise Carly’s baby together after it was born. Eventually, Elizabeth found Carly in the panic room but ended up having a pulmonary embolism. When she woke up in the hospital, Elizabeth was all confused by what happened, and Ric convinced her that her vision of  Carly was just a bad dream. Eventually, Elizabeth learned the horrifying truth and divorced Ric.

Years later, Ric noticed the connection between Elizabeth and “Jake Doe” who eventually turned out to be Drew (Billy Miller) A jealous Ric hired Hayden Barnes to show up and claim to be “Jake’s” wife. Elizabeth stepped aside, and when Ric planned to propose to Elizabeth at the 2015 Nurses Ball, Carly exposed his manipulations, and Elizabeth dumped him yet again. And those are just two examples of the lengths Ric will go to for Elizabeth!

So, we ask you, given the history of Elizabeth and Ric, how do you see this playing out with Dante in the picture? How will Ric derail their growing bond? Share your thoughts via the comment section below.
