We all knew this was a-coming, and that it was just a matter of time for The Young and the Restless to get around to moving Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Devon (Bryton James) closer into a romantic entanglement.  Look no further than the action this week on the CBS daytime drama, where emotional circumstances draw the two into a kiss.

In story, Devon is reeling from Nate’s (Sean Dominic) betrayal and having wanted to honor the legacy of Neil (the late Kristoff St. John), while Abby is having serious doubts if her marriage to Chance (Conner Floyd) can survive.

The two share a bond over their child, Dominic. Devon is the biological father to the little boy.

Things lead to a passionate moment between Abby and Devon, when according to the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest (on newsstands now), Abby is deeply affected by how Devon shares he would move heaven and earth for little Dom.

According to Melissa Ordway, “That’s all she (Abby) needs to hear, and all of a sudden they’re in a passionate kiss.  It definitely catches them by surprise because it’s not anything that was planned … but it’s something they both need in that moment”

Watch the preview for Monday’s Y&R featuring the lip-lock below.

Now let us know, are you here for a Devon and Abby romance? Do you think the two will have an affair? Share your thoughts in the comment section.

Probably an easy kiss to fall into when both Devon and Abby find they are the only ones really listening to, and understanding each other’s concerns. Don’t think it’s affair material. And don’t want them to be together. They had better be careful though because Chance had a funny face when he came back to Noah’s club early from a job stakeout.

While I do understand them crying on each other’s shoulders I have to agree with Chance’s words to his wife earlier at Sharon’s place. Abby does resent his job and God forbid he has to be gone when she snaps her fingers, wanting him with her.

Violet…I don’t think she understood who she married, and Chance’s dedication to his job and partners, even though he was an agent before they met. I never liked how she tried to pressure him into dropping the case about what really happened to Ashland since it was the family thing to do. Like Steffy and Victoria, she’s just another spoiled woman-child.

I agree, rose—I can’t see them togethe, either—Abby has never stricken me as a happy woman—she’s always moaning and groaning about something.
Nevertheless, I think that their loneliness will propel them to commiserate together.—and the fact that they are Dominick’s bio parents binds them —-that’s a strong emotional bond which may bring them closer and closer.

Cecil…What was I thinking? You are probably right about Devon and Abby commiserating. It is a soap after all.

rose
I kept wondering as I watched the fireworks if Elena,( Devons partner in real life) was watching. Yes, I know it was acting but it would have bothered me if I either of their spouses.

Celia, after a year of nothing between Devon and Abby with Dominic’s birth this feels sudden and forced and just a plot device to give Amanda and Mishael Morgan a reason to take her leave. We shoud’ ve seen hints about feelings brewing and maybe have Amanda uneasy about the arrangement. However happy somethings finally happening between the terribly boring Devon and Abby it s a bit of out leftfield. Next up is Lily, Mama Dru would never have been so patient or even allowed Neil to continue relation s with someone as suspicious as Chelsea. Lily needs a backbone like yesterday.

Rose, I fully expected Chance to look at his semi-naked wife, entwined with the semi-naked Devon, yawn and ask,” What’s for lunch?”

Now free up Chance to get with Sharon. Maybe he can persuade her to come back and help at the GCPD . Those two would be fire together!
Also give Amanda when she returns something to do besides mention he offscreen sick mother. Speaking of Amanda , we could really use Imani back as played by the original to take advantage of Nate and Elena s breakup!!!

Damien
Better these two than Chance and Chelsea which I was afraid would happen.

Oh Damien, aren’t Nate and Elena a bore? There’s waaayyy too much Hamilton/Winters drama as is. Let’s face it…Newman Enterprises they ain’t. But Devon and Abby? Boredom and it’s capital combined! To me, Abby is reverting back to spoiled princess mode who has to be the center of attention. Grilling Chance over stopping for a cup of coffee? I’d be headed for the hills! Chance and Sharon is not an uninteresting pair; the age difference is minimal especially compared to Victor and Jack’s past choices. I thought of Chance with Chelsea but the poor dear has more baggage than United Airlines right now.

Nate—Ewwww!! Soaphound, after hearing him philosophizing to Victoria, I wanted to barf. The doctor gone awry. The work—the blood, sweat and tears shed throughout the travail of becoming a doctor is astronomical, but this guy wants to conquer the business world.
I believe Nate is a prop for Victoria— an imitation-Medea teaming up with a weak link.
Neither one of them is that interesting—-Victoria doesn’t have the stuff to be a femme fatale and Nate is a talking marionette.

LOL, Damien–you do realize Sharon is old enough to be Chance’s mother, right? Not just a few years—more like 24, or something–I love Sharon—but, she’s not as young as that. Mariah and Cassie should be around thirty or so—
I don’t particularly like this guy—too bland, albeit, I think he andvAbby are mismatched—no spark, no OOH-LA-LA..
And, I can’t stand Nate either—Original Imani is gorgeous—she better hurry back because Victoria has plans for him—she’ll nail him sooner than later.
Nice “seeing” you again…..

I never thought of Imani vs. Victoria , only against Elena. But the actress has enough potential and spunk to take on both.
About Sharon I’m just anxious to get her into a story of her own, counselling her very boring children and pouring coffee is such a waste of Sharon Cases amazing talent.

I know, Damien—Sharon has been on the shelf for a while and taken down when needed for “menial” jobs. She should come out of the sidelines—I’m still waiting for her and Nick to get back together. But, he’s such a myopic dullard to going around sniffing Sally’s ( and/or her ilk) skirts.
Nick and Sharon were the first young couple who captured my so-very-young heart—I was so into them back in the day when they were supposedly still in High School, making me wish I were that “old”, too.
Nick’s another “used/misused” character—I should say actor. It seems that many of their skills, as actors, are wasted–in a state of wandering immobility ( there’s an oxymoron for you. LOL.)
I do like your depiction of Imani–she could definitely take on both Elena and Victoria, whom I am truly coming to despise her—I like Elena and I hope she ends up with someone deserving of her.

To be honest all the ages are screwed up so it drives you crazy ! Billy now played by a 45 year old just nuts but it is a soap they all do it

Yup, K—you are absolutely right. It’s a soap, but decades older than your mate is just taking it to the moon– nuts!!

Hey after tons of recasts it’s hard to feel anything I have not watched a full episode in four years and I loved this soap ! Just nuts ! Now you be honest with yourself ok!! Can you feel anything when this Billy talks about Delia ?? Can you feel anything with a recast Adam talk about it?? Answer NO! So why are writers recasting and going over a storyline that was years ago?? I am not attacking actors it’s just nuts ! And let’s all raise our hands if we are sick of Victoria!! Ugh writers have characters they favor but fans don’t you need to listen to your audience and I will never come back I almost can’t sit they it JM still has not grown up he throws a fit gets his way MS was a blast in the early nineties now she just slings her hands and calls it acting I’m sad for all of them

And yes Sharon Case always smiles it’s a job a paycheck but she has been shit in for years

Like this duo. Put them together

Devon and Abby? It was inevitable with their connection to Dominic, which personally I thought was the craziest story they’ve ever done.Having a baby with a man other than your husband and then welcoming him into the family? What’s the kid going to call these two men, daddy1 and daddy2? Devon calls him son and tells him he’s his dad. I guess the boy is supposed to forget all that as he gets older? It’s like Abby has two husbands. If she doesn’t get the love and support she wants from Chance, she always has Devon for backup. It will be the same with the kid as he grows, if he doesn’t get what he wants from one dad , he’ll run to the other one.Can you see Devon ever denying him anything? What a mess this SL will be.

Uh oh, the spoiled rich kids caught with their pants down, and by Amanda and Chance no less. I couldn’t have written that scene better myself!I can’t wait for their explanation as to how this happened. I hope they are both kicked to the curb for their selfish indulgence.

Abby’s theme song should be,” I’m just a girl who can’t say no.”

Harry, Devon and Abby are truly despicable, even by lax soap standards. I guess it’s fitting that two of the most self-righteous characters on T.V. are indeed guilty and immediately exposed (excuse the pun). Abby is bad enough, constantly haranguing Chance (“You stopped for coffee without telling me? What does that say about our marriage?”) and demanding incessant attention but Devon? His moral high horse has finally been toppled. Of course, this is a guy who “worshipped and adored Neil Winters”… and betrayed him with Hilary. Motives aside, Nate is 100 percent right about his duplicitous cousin!

Because Abby has never had to work for a living, she doesn’t know what it’s like to feel wired after a stressful day. Same holds true for Victoria who blithely fired both Sally and Chloe just to make room for Nate. They both live in a bubble. And you’re correct about Devon. He’s so sanctimonious and morally superior but he goes back on his baby contract and wants shared custody of Dominique and then sleeps with Chance’s wife. Chance has been nothing but kind and supportive to Devon despite his asinine and boorish behavior. And who was watching Dom while those two had mad passionate sex on the floor, the stairs, the wall, the table, the counters and the couch? Perhaps they’re not the devoted parents they pretend to be.

Make me puke! Please, Devon is nothing but a character killer! Get him out of Abby’s life please! Get her out of Chances life to! He is a bore! Let Abby grow as a mother and business women.

Devon Abby love Date but she’s not married do you wanna go for it AbbyCan’t get the Divorceyour wife Abby Devon Love romance is so the door if I can’t see his wife Abby chance The divorce her Amanda break up Devon Love Abby scared to move in with youGorgeous kid
Devon Abby Lock the door bed Abby Devon Love bed make love to you love. Devon Abby love romance make out Chance let her go chance can you wife girl to Divorce her

I love slam poetry.

Teresa
I think there is a serious language thing going on here or typing gone wrong??

I can say this much: Finally!! A hot prelude to sex—-wi knew?? LOL—a feat which I never expected from neither Devon nor Abby.
Devon got lucky ( pardon the pun) Chance didn’t beat the living caca out of him—Had this been my husband? Oh, boy—-I don’t know —An Italian from Boston??
Seriously, why do people cheat? I mean, who doesn’t have issues in a marriage? One does not go out and jump into bed with someone else? This happens over and over in soaps—is it just in soaps or am I that naive???

Good bye to the Chancellor Manor drawing room se t. Today we see a never before seen den, a sign that Catherine’s house is being taken away, just as the Newman ranch was “shrunk”. But I suppose they had to save space because of the terrible bar set for Noah.

mat 1
Katherine is saying, ” what on God’s Green Earth” have they done to my home. I think Noah’s place looks like some Brothels I’ve seen in movies.

I don’t think Abby and Chance should be together. I have never liked Devon and Amanda together. I would really like to see Abby and Devon get together. I think it would be a happy marriage and family. They have been best friends and really know each. Keep up the story line with Abby and Devon please!

NO NO NO NO Romance between Abby and Devon .Absolutely NO Chemistry!!!

I think Devon and the spoiled princess should take their son and just leave G.C ,who would miss them really? I don’t think Chance ever really felt like Dominic’s dad anyway.

They should be together, and married, because they define friendship. I want to say is the best married couples are great friends.

General Hospital Fall Preview

General Hospital’s co-head writers, Chris Van Etten and Elizabeth Korte have given the ABC daytime drama’s fall preview of what to look for in the months ahead in Port Charles.

According to the scribes, as told to TV Insider,  “Unexpected arrivals, unexpected romance and unexpected connections,” are the order of the season, plus, “secrets are going to be exposed that will upend lives for better and worse — and new secrets will need to be kept.”

In the relationship department, don’t expect everything to go the way you may think! Let’s take a look at some of the highlights that point to some major moments in the near future on GH.

Photo: ABC

ROMEO AND JULIET

“The conflict between Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Drew (Cameron Mathison) will continue to build with potentially fatal consequences,” shared the head writers as Scout (Kayden Brenna Tokarski) and Rocco’s (Finn Carr) relationship gets more solid, the more it will be tried to be pulled apart, especially by Drew. This is what they are calling their “Romeo and Juliet” young love story.

BURYING JACK BRENNAN

Nina (Cynthia Watros) will be in the hot seat, thanks to evidence planted by Drew and Carly (Laura Wright) overhearing her threatening the MIA Jack. According to the GH head writers, “Nina may face a dark future — but perhaps not as dark a future as those who seek her downfall.” Meanwhile Ava (Maura West) and Drew’s unholy alliance will have “repercussions for years to come.” Let’s not forget they buried Jack’s body.

JASON AND BRITT MAY NOT LAST

Those who wanted Jason (Steve Burton) and Britt’s (Kelly Thiebaud) romance to come to an end, may get their wish! As the head scribes shared, “Decisions Britt made to stay alive while under (Ross) Cullum’s thumb will come back to haunt her and may prove too difficult for this unlikely couple to survive.”

Photo: ABC

ANNA’S BREAKING POINT AND CAN VALENTIN STAY AWAY ?

As for Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), who Jason is trying to save and who has lost her way (thanks to visions of Peter August) and being gaslighted by Cullum and company, it will, “lead to her breaking point and  may lead another person to an early grave.” On that note, Carly and Valentin’s (James Patrick Stuart) relationship is tested after his attempt to buy back Spoon Island. Only problem is someone else got their first, and it may be hard for Valentin to deny his feelings for Anna aren’t greater than he thinks.

BROOK LYNN’S LIFE AS SHE KNOWS IT BLOWS UP IN HER FACE

The writers added, “Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Chase (Josh Swickard) face a turning point. Her secret may finally unravel their marriage; worse, it may leave the family vulnerable when someone comes calling with a claim on Phoebe.” Will Chase now hop between the sheets with his ex Willow? And, will Hudson (Troy Lennon Appel) stake his claim to be the father of the little Phoebe? How can Brook Lynn’s life as she knows it survive this?

TRINA’S STALKER … WHO IS IT?

Does Trina (Tabyana Ali) have a stalker … or a true number one genuine fan? Whatever the case, something ominous is going to happen to Kai (Jen Austin Astrup), when the GH writers shared, “Kai is true blue and will step up to defend Trina— but his closeness to Trina may prove detrimental to his health.” In addition, the stalker situation pairs up Emma (Braedyn Bruner) and Trina to try get to the bottom of who is behind it, but in doing so, may have put a target on Emma’s back.

Photo: ABC

‘BLOODY’ SITUATION WHERE JOSSLYN IS CONCERNED

Josslyn  Eden McCoy) gets new orders from the WSB after Brennan goes missing, and things may get “bloody” report the writers. They add, “Joss has her sights set on Sonny — but she’s a target, too. JJE is a big prize, and she isn’t the only one entitled to it.” Who else could be?

Photo: ABC

PAST ROMANCE FOR ALEXIS COMES BACK AROUND

Could Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Ric (Rick Hearst) find themselves in each other’s arms? According to the GH head writers, “A past romance will rear its head in a surprising way,” for Alexis. Who else could it be if not Ric, who may feel jilted by Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) if she and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) get any closer? Might it be the return of Jerry Jacks?

MICHAEL AND JORDAN BECOME CLOSE

Michael (Rory Gibson) and Jordan (Tanisha Harper) will develop a “special bond” while working together at Aurora and while Curtis (Donnell Turner) is away in prison. However, “a face from Jordan’s past will complicate her future. We’ll start to learn more about the woman Jordan was before she ever joined the DEA and came to Port Charles.” Is this William Baines (Alimi Ballard) or someone else yet to arrive? Stay tuned.

So, which of the story points listed above pique’s your interest the most? Are you excited about the fall on General Hospital? Let us know your thoughts via the comment section.

GENERAL HOSPITAL Promo: Women on the Edge

Published

By

General Hospital has released their official video teaser for all-new episodes starting today on September 8 through September 11. In it, several women in Port Charles have reached their breaking point. Who will do or say something they cannot come back from? Let’s take a look!

First, Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) in tears and who is wracked with guilt, might be forced to admit her cover-up in driving a car after having a bit to drink to get to her son Gio (Giovanni Mazza) and Trina’s (Tabyana Ali) performance. Brook Lynn believes she was the driver of the other car involved in Jordan (Tanisha Harper) and Curtis’ (Donnell Turner) car accident.

In the Quartermaine living room, Trina confronts her with, “Were you the driver who kept going and left them there to die?” What will BLQ say? And, is the moment that Chase (Josh Swickard) is so fed up with his wife, he hightails it to Willow (Katelyn MacMullen)? Stay tuned.

SIX FEET UNDER

Then, with Jack out of the picture (and buried six feet under), Drew (Cameron Mathison) feels vindicated and that he holds all the cards and confronts his now ex-wife for shooting him in the back. Willow blurts out with indignation, “Prove it!” Will this be Willow’s ultimate downfall or Drew’s?

Next, WSB agent Baines (Alimi Ballard) is on the case of Brennan’s disappearance and confronts Carly (Laura Wright) and says, “When was the last time you saw Jack Brennan?”

Will she flip the situation and throw shade at Nina (Cynthia Watros) and tell Baines she heard and saw Nina threatening to kill Jack? We already know Drew is setting Nina to take the fall for Jack’s murder, too!

INTO THE WOODS

Finally, Jason (Steve Burton) has located Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) and Anna (Finola Hughes) in the woods. He asks Anna to stop, just as it appears she is going to pull the trigger and end the life of Dr. Britt Westbourne.

Shots are fired after Anna says, “This has to end tonight!” Do you think anyone was on the receiving end of a bullet, or did Jason save the day?

Check out the official GH promo for this week entitled “The Fallout Continues” below and our previously reported additional spoilers for the action in Port Charles here.

GENERAL HOSPITAL Preview: Trina Demands Answers from Brook Lynn, Scout Questions Rocco, and Can Anna Pull the Trigger on Britt?

Published

By

This week on General Hospital, the week kicks-off on Labor Day with a rebroadcast of the special episode dedicated to Anthony Geary (ex-Luke Spencer). The eight-time Daytime Emmy winning star passed away in December of 2025 and come February 2026, GH crafted a tribute in his honor with the story centering on Luke’s daughter, Lulu (Alexa Havins) mourning the loss of her father.

Then, all-new episodes begin on Tuesday, September 8 and in the video teaser for it, Trina (Tabyana Ali) continues confronting Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) at the Quartermaines, demanding to know if BLQ was behind the wheel of the other car that “caused” the accident that injured Jordan (Tanisha Harper) and her father Curtis (Donnell Turner), who is now spending jail time after being found guilty of assaulting Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) believing he was the other driver who caused the accident.

Scout (Kayden Brenna Tokarksi) questions Rocco (Finn Carr), if their first kiss together was “OK?” What will be his answer? Meanwhile, Isaiah continues to question Ava (Maura West), wanting to know where she has been in the last 24 hours that she would have had a very dangerous tick stuck in her scalp? What will she say to get out of the fact that along with Drew (Cameron Mathison), she was burying Jack Brennan’s body in the woods.

Photo: ABC

Then, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is seen talking with Sonny (Maurice Benard), where she says, “It’s time to change tactics!” Most likely, she is talking about dealing with Drew’s threats. Meanwhile, Drew is on the warpath and Ava tries to talk him down by saying, “Don’t you think calling the sheriff is a little extreme?” Why does Drew want to call the sheriff?

Finally, in the pick up from last Friday’s cliffhanger where Anna (Finola Hughes) pulled a gun on Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) in the middle of nowhere, Anna says, “I’m not going to let you stop me!” Who is she talking to? Is it Jason (Steve Burton) who found out Britt’s location … or Britt herself? Stay tuned.
