Logan is a reporter so why doesn’t he spill the ‘real’ story?

MM was told the character would be placed on a 3-6 month break. He probably felt like that’s too long to sit around and wait so JFP pulled the rug out from under him. He shouldn’t worry- he’ll be snapped up quickly.

I think the,fans of MM will refuse to believe he could be in the,wrong here but he clearly lost his job because of,questionable behavior. Its,a huge loss to the show but u have to be accountable for ur own personal actions. Hopefully for MM his livlihood and marriage will survive this.

MTS statements are as ridiculous as Logan; if what MM did was so terrible, why would he be allowed to finish up his work and not escorted of the set by security? No actor currently on the show is going to say anything negative about JFP or their employer companies, not if they want to continue to work. Remember what happened to Cady McClain when she lamented that Julia Barr had been let go from AMC? That led directly to her exit from the show via the poisoned pancakes. From comments previously made by Eric Braeden when Michael has expressed how Victor’s story is usually a rehash of the same old Victor disappears, presumed dead, family wishes they had treated him better (as if they should), then hero returns, I’d say there is no love lost between Eric, Melody, and Michael. I think that folks need to realize that it is none of our business why he was fired. It is a personnel matter and is no ones business other that MM and CBS/SONY. In fact, he may rather us not know. He’s a talented actor. Whatever mistake, if any, he made is better left unsaid. He s moving on and probably for the better. Y&R is terrible and JFP is slowly driving it into the grave. Whether she had nothing to do with his firing the truth lies in how the show is running, or in this case hobbling along, overall. Didn’t Austin Peck get fired from ATWT for having an affair with then married co-star Terri Conn? They ended up getting married so it wasn’t as if it was his fault if it was mutual. There was that rumor about Austin Peck. Terri’s husband was apparently pretty popular with the cast of ATWT and apparently some of the cast wanted him off the show. I think Michael Park in particular wanted him gone and I sort of resented that they let his character be the one to accidentally kill Brad. I always thought their logic was flawed, that if he he was booted from the show, then Terri should have been as well.

This is absolutely unbelieveable. Hollywood has never ever been known for its morals or ethics conduct. Whatever the true story is, this is another nail in the Y&R coffin.Michael is one of the best actors around….I’ve always loved watching him and will be so sorry to see him go….but Y&R has been on a downward spiral for months with the dark & depressing storylines & the constant leaving & recasting of actors….With Jeannes death, Eileens leaving, Abbys recast, Billy leaving & Kyle being recast again, Michaels leaving is another shot that I don’t know if Y&R can survive…. I hope so because there are only 4 soaps left.

I am 51 and have been watching since I was 16. MM as the character of Adam has esclated the show to new heights, allowing the other actors to shine, by having interactions with him. He is the best thing to happen to Y&R since Terry Lester. I love Y&R. I do. I’ve watched it since I was a little boy, a captive audience when my Mom and Aunt would watch it. I had to sit there and watch it too. The Jay Bontatibus vs. Ashley Jones feud. JB and AJ never got along all that much. More than once, AJ went to the Y&R Producers and tried to get JB FIRED. The feud basically started when Ashley found out that Y&R were replacing Nick Scotti (aka Tony Viscardi #1) with Jay Bontatibus (aka Tony Viscardi #2). Ashley was VERY PISSED about this…mainly because she was close friends with NS and his then-girlfriend. From that point on, Ashley Jones turned into something of a SOAP D-I-V-A. Yep.

If it was harassment the guy would have been escorted to his car after being fired never to enter the studio again. They allowed him to finish filming three scenes.
