I had seen this and thought it was a wonderful gesture to Muhney from Sharon Case. I have to wonder how much crap she is getting for standing by his side.

For everyone’s sake I hope that his dismissal was for something that will not effect him – or anyone else – long term.

Beautiful tribute. Sharon Case is a lady with a lot of class! Kudos to her for “standing by” her fellow castmate and friend. Just wish the rest of the cast did the same. All the best to Michael Muhney in his future.

You can tell a lot of love went into making that tribute– a lot of personal and candid moments that aren’t scripted, just from the heart. I hope making it doesn’t get her in trouble with the people who canned him. One classy lady.

Very lovely tribute, Ms. Case! and as everyone has stated, you are a true friend for standing by your friend. I can not even express how angry I am for them firing him. I have rooted for “Adam” for years, ever since MM took over. Is there any chance that fan support will bring him back? God Bless you and MM, Y&R is in a heap of trouble right now if you ask me, they have lost or fired too many main characters, like as if they are cleaning house. Right now they should go for what they know, and that is the stable players, since the loss of Jeanne Cooper, tooooo much change!! I’m really going to have to think about watching this show that I have watched for 30 years.

I kept watching in spite of the lousy writing on Y and R because I had been watching the show since 1981. Several of my daughters also have been regular viewers. The only things that made Y and R watchable was some of the acting – and believe me – not too many actors are on it now that have much acting ability . You just fired the best actor on your show – Muhney . Why on earth is it that you get rid of anybody with talent ? The viewers want good writing , hey – at least a couple of decent actors to watch – why do you keep screwing the show up ? I’m not watching after Muhney’s final airdate. You’ve fired one too many good actors for this viewer. Maybe it’s time to cancel this mess of a show you’ve made eh CBS ?
I’m not loyal enough – or no, better yet, stupid enough to keep watching the crap you are airing. Do you not like having talent on your show ? Let’s just put this show out of it’s misery. It is painful to watch – hell – as it is- I fast forward through half of it anyway as do most people.
I think this show has run it’s course.

I hope this will be to Michael’s advantage in the long run. He made Adam the strongest character on the show. Most talented actor on Y&R.

This is such a beautiful tribute. Thanks to Sharon Case for putting it together. She’s obviously been a true friend to Michael and I’m sure she and others on the cast of Y & R will feel the loss of this gifted actor. It is really too bad that the powers that be at Y & R (or whoever it was that made the decision to fire Muhney) put trivial annoyances (or whatever reason they had for firing him) above the wellbeing of this show, for they will lose viewers as a result of his firing. It’s also too bad that they made the lame-brained decision to let Billy Miller go.

Through making this video, Sharon Case has shown that she’s a class act (as others have already stated). Both Sharon and Michael are/were two of my favorite actors on this show, so I really hope that they don’t make a very bad mistake of firing her in the next while. If so, they’ll definitely have very few viewers left, which would be too bad, as a number of the other actors are also very good, but I think people will just get tired of the very poor decisions made by Y & R’s management.

Thank you, Sharon Case, for being the only cast member who showed respect for the best actor on the show.

I absolutely hate the character Sharon Newman and this proves that Sharon Case and she are one in the same..Love Adam though and Michael Muhney’s leaving is tragic…

Michael Muhney is the best and I also believe there was a lot of jealousy from the other cast male stars who wanted him ousted. No Young and Restless for me after Michael Muhney last episode! I think there is more to the story we are getting! Rehire Michael Muhney

WOW! Great video! Didn’t like Adam at first, but grew to like him especially post-Shadam. Loved him and Chelsea. Don’t know what to believe. I can’t see her doing this video if she didn’t truly believe his innocence. Why would she stick up for him if she thought for one minute he was inappropriate with Hunter? Either the brass at YR wanted him out and created a lie or he is guilty. Too bad all around. If he did it, why haven’ t charges been filed? if he didn’t…one helluva lawsuit

Sharon did an amazing job…it actually made me cry….. no one will ever be able to replace Michael. I’ve been a faithful viewer since I could walk and besides Katherine’s untimely passing, this is the most heartbreaking news……to Michael, you will truly be missed and we will never forget you!!!!!
