WATCH: Venice Season Four Premiere Episode! What Was Your Reaction?

Crystal Chappell has just released the first episode of season four of Venice! The highly-anticipated web series favorite has finally returned and if the first installment is any indication, it is going to be a bumpy and dramatic season!

The story picks-up after the startling season three cliffhanger when Owen (Galen Gering) is stabbed by Sami, and The Colonel (Jordan Clarke) happens upon the scene!  And if you recall in season three, there was the question of The Colonel not being Owen’s bio-dad! Will that part of the story be part of season four?  Only time will tell!    What happens in the season four premiere is shocking and emotional one for all the characters in Owen’s life, but none more than his sister, Gina (Crystal Chappell).

And as the premiere unfolds, we learn if Ani (Jessica Leccia) said “yes” to Lara’s  (Nadia Bjorlin)marriage proposal?  In addition, how will Gina cope when she learns the daughter she gave away many years ago has resurfaced?

But at the centerpiece of Venice is the undying love story and emotional bond between Gina and Ani, and in the opener, you see the pull these two have for each other at full strength much to the chagrin of Lara!  Crystal Chappell delivers a beautiful performance in the first installment that proves once again, she is one of the best actresses out there!

Venice, whose themes range from their same-sex love story, and the afterlife, continues on that path with some surprising twists and turns in the season opener including: a crime scene investigation, and Guya (Hillary B. Smith) feeling the presence of those who have passed on!  And be on the lookout for Christian LeBlanc’s turn as Ani’s brother and Michael Sabatino as Alan, as when these two are on the canvas, the rest of the Venice cast of characters better watch their backs!

Now watch the season four premiere episode of Venice, and let us know what was your reaction?  Were you shocked? What did you think of Crystal Chappell’s performance?  Comment below!

Holy Cow! I can hardly wait to see how the rest of the sseason pans out!

Well, I was impressed with the episode and the performance of all the actors present; Crystal Chappell and Judi Evans’ especially. Robert Newman easily and smoothly stepped into Peter Reckell’s shoes as Richard yet without trying to be exactly like Peter; I was impressed with that too. I feel this season of Venice will contain far more angst than the previous seasons and I congratulate Crystal Chappell for a job well done.

OMG!!!!!!! It was definitely worth the wait. I don’t want to spoil anything but I have to say I sooooo loved the Owen scenes. Is it next Wednesday yet?!?!?!?!?

Put the camera on a tripod for god’s sake. The lighting was awful. I don’t usually care about those things with a web series. But it was so darn distracting.

Interesting seeing all the different soap characters. If your into lesbians I’m sure it would be good. Can’t tell if there’s to much plastic surgery or not enough? The filming is good. The heaven scene was lame.

The comment about the plastic surgery was uncalled for and cruel. And what’s really lame are the spelling mistakes in your comment.

I loved the heaven scene. It injected some humor into a very serious episode.

WOW what a show. Cudos for Crystal, cast and crew. I have already watched several times to make sure that I didn’t miss anything. So ready for the next episode. Broke my heart when Guya wakes up and ask for Owen to return and then Ani in Gina’s arms. What a great show. Can’t wait to see what is next.

I have not watched the episdoe as yet but reading the comments the anticipation is killing me…I cannot wait to get home and watch…….

Just one question why did GH not do everything in the world to get Robert Newman to play Julian Jerome? Gosh how I miss that man!

I liked the dramatic potential of Owen’s death but HATED the heaven scenes. I loved the moments between Gina & Ani. The overall tone of the show is different this season and not for the better. Poor lighting, terrible music (except the song at the end), it just didn’t feel as high quality as Venice usually does.

This show is on fire. Great performances by all. Chystal is fabulous. Lookig forward to all the happenings..

Great start, I can’t wait for part 2.

I have to say, episode 2 is soooo much better. It’s too bad it’s not the freeby because I think it would reel in more potential viewers. There’s a snazzy new opening. It is a very compelling, cohesive episode with none of that heaven nonsense.

REPORT: Nicholas Chavez Not Returning to General Hospital

For those who were holding out hope that Daytime Emmy winner and fan favorite, Nicholas Chavez would be returning to General Hospital after filming his leading role in Ryan Murphy’s Monsters anthology, it looks like those hopes have been dashed.

According to a report from TV Line, although unconfirmed from General Hospital or a representative for Chavez, the actor will not reprise his role as Spencer Cassadine on the long-running ABC soap opera and continue the love story of Sprina opposite Tabyana Ali (Trina, GH).

Chavez was cast as Lyle Menendez over the the summer of 2023 for the second season of Murphy’s limited Monsters series on Netflix. In the upcoming season, the series will focus on the the case of Lyle and Erik Menendez, the two well-to-do Beverly Hills brothers accused of murdering their parents in 1989.

After word from Chavez casting was revealed, GH fans were concerned over the fate of the Sprina story, a spokesperson for GH shared,  “We support Nicholas’ endeavors and look forward to having him return to General Hospital once this project is wrapped.”

In story, the series “killed off” Spencer when he went overboard with Esme to the steely waters below after being injected with a drug, thanks to Esme and falling into the Seine River in France. However, his body was never recovered, and believed to have drowned or washed away. Thus, leaving an opening for Spencer to return in the form of Chavez or be recast down the line.

TV Line shared that ‘multiple sources’ are confirming that Chavez is not returning to the ABC soap opera, which is what many had suspected might be the case once he left for this major starring role in a Ryan Murphy project. Chavez has been relatively quiet on social media for months.

The Michael Fairman Channel spoke with Nicholas Chavez for a virtual interview when he first joined the show in 2021, and spoke to him right after when he won the Daytime Emmy in 2022 – you can see those below.

With the Melrose Place revival the talk of the town, now Jack Wagner (ex-Frisco, GH, ex-Nick, B&B and ex-Peter Burns, MP) has weighed-in on it and if he would show up in the new series if it should find a home.

Currently, CBS Studios is developing a reboot starring Heather Locklear, Daphne Zuniga and Laura Leighton. But what is Dr. Peter Burns were to show up alive?

As those who saw the end of the original MP know, Peter and Amanda (Locklear) faked their deaths and then tied the knot with Peter on a beach, supposedly in a “happily ever after” scenario.

Speaking with PEOPLE, Wagner expressed, what we all know who watch the soaps, that no one is never, ever really gone for good. Jack expressed, “You never really die on a soap, right? How they unfold those two characters (Peter and Amanda), it’d be fantastic how they sort of tell that story.”

Wagner added, “That was a great finale to be included in, especially with Heather. If I’m asked to come back, I’d absolutely entertain that.”

Photo: Fox

The original Melrose Place aired for seven seasons from 1992 to 1999. The story featured the residents of an apartment complex, whose lives were intertwined. Eventually Wagner and Heather Locklear dated fro 2007-2011.

As previously reported, the new Melrose Place share that some of original neighbors and friends reunite after a death. The loglines add, “The pressure cooker of a reunion soon uncovers old traumas, rekindles old romances, reignites old resentments, and reveals new secrets… throwing our characters into chaotic drama that’s reminiscent of the past, but with a much more modern perspective.”

So, would you like to see Jack Wagner return as Dr. Peter Burns on Melrose Place, or Frisco Jones on GH, or both? Comment below.
