One Life to Live and High School Musical star, Corbin Bleu has been dazzling audiences each week along with his dance partner, Karina Smirnoff on this season’s Dancing with the Stars! But, will it be enough dazzle to win the couple the Mirror Ball Trophy next Tuesday night in the final night of the two-part season finale?

After 10 weeks of entertaining, stylized dancing from Corbin Bleu & Karina Smirnoff, Jack Osbourne & Cheryl Burke, Bill Engvall & Emma Slater and Amber Riley & Derek Hough, only one couple will be crowned Dancing with the Stars Champions. These four remaining couples will have one last opportunity to impress the judges and the viewers on Monday November 25 (8:00-10:00 p.m., ET), concluding with the Season Finale, Tuesday November 26 (9:00-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

On Monday (8:00-10:00 p.m., ET): Dancing with the Stars season 16 Champion Kellie Pickler returns to open up the show with her country hit “Little Bit Gypsy,” accompanied by the pro dancers. The four remaining couples will then compete in three rounds of dance. In the first round, each couple will take on the “Judges Pick” and repeat a selected routine from earlier in the season. In round two, the couples will be challenged to a Samba relay, where each pair dances to a different section of the same song. The Samba relay will be accompanied by 90’s hip hop group TLC who will perform their classic hit “No Scrubs.” In the last round, and one of the biggest competitive dances of the season, the couples take on a supersized freestyle featuring special effects, additional dancers and unexpected surprises. At the end of night, one couple will be eliminated based on the previous weeks’ viewer votes, combined with the judges’ scores from Monday night.

In the two-hour Season Finale on Tuesday (9:00-11:00 p.m., ET):  In the last element of competition, the couples will perform a new routine as part of a “24 Hour Fusion Challenge.” During Monday night’s show, the remaining couples will choose songs for their competitors that fuse two contrasting dance styles and they’ll all have less than 24 hours to prepare that dance for judges’ points the following night. The finale will feature performances by Lady Antebellum who will perform their new single “Compass,” and Enrique Iglesias will sing his current hit “Heart Attack.” The entire celebrity cast returns including: Elizabeth Berkley Lauren, Brant Daugherty, Keyshawn Johnson, Christina Milian, Bill Nye, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Leah Remini and Valerie Harper who will dance with partner Tristan MacManus to a version of “What a Wonderful World” by singer Colbie Caillat. In addition, Ylvis will perform their hit single “The Fox,” accompanied by select celebrity and pro dancers. At the end of the night, the public vote from Monday night will be combined with the judges’ scores from both nights to crown the Season 17 Champion.

Viewers may cast their votes for their favorite teams via phone on Monday nights during and up to 60 minutes after the end of the Dancing with the Stars broadcast in each time zone. Online voting at www.ABC.com and on Facebook at www.facebook.com/dancingwiththestars is open for 24 hours, beginning from the start of each episode on the East Coast at 8:00 p.m., ET/5:00 p.m., PT and closing at 8:00 p.m., ET/5:00 p.m., PT on Tuesday evenings. For the final week, on Monday, November 25, online voting will open for 15 hours, beginning from the start of the episode on the East Coast at 8:00 p.m., ET/5:00 p.m., PT and closing at 11:00 a.m., ET/8:00 a.m., PT the next day. A custom Facebook app lets fans vote, share whom they voted for and say why, as well as see whom friends voted for.

So, who are you rooting for as we head into the finale? Corbin, Amber, Bill or Jack?  Weigh-in!

I am definitely team Corbin and Karina, they have consistently been dancing so beautifully together, and they bring so much excitement and talent to the dance floor as well. That being said, Jack Osbourne actually embodies what this show is about. He began as a dancing novice for sure, and with hard work and dedication each week, he has come quite a long way, so I am so glad that he and Cheryl are also in the finals. Amber and Derek are a very formidable team as well, Amber can certainly move, and she and Derek also wow the audience each week. As for Bill, he seems to be a truly sweet and genuine guy, and certainly has been working hard, but IMO, he DOES NOT belong in the finals, his dancing has not really improved that much, and he should have been gone weeks ago, and deep down, I believe he feels the same, as evident in the shocked look on his face each week, as he survives, and another more worthy dance team is voted off. Good for him that he has a very devoted following, but come on folks, he has overstayed his welcome. Much good luck to all though, and I look forward to watching!!!

This season has definitely been strange. If you told me week one that Bill E would be in the finals I would have not believed you. If we go by talent then the race should be between Corbin and Amber, but if we are going with the heart I would not be surprised if Jack won— if Bill wins— then next season they should ask Toronto mayor Rob Ford to dance because obviously the world has gone crazy.

Derek and Amber should win. with Jack coming in second. Corbin should not be there he has professional dance experience and it would not be fair if he won.

Now that Leah is gone I am probably rooting for Corbin the most. Will depend how he dances and how I feel as to whether I’ll vote.

Who cares?

Can we get back to our SOAPS

I agree! Who really gives a rat’s rear-end about DWTS on this page other than the fact that from time to time soap stars have appeared.
Now that both One Life to Live and ALL MY CHILDREN have been, well, at least unofficially “cancelled” or put on a back-burner with Prospect Park, I wonder if the rights will revert back to ABC-TV and if so, I hope that at least one of the shows return in a Half hour format. Over at CBS, “Bold and the Beautiful” is only a half hour, (and doing great, though I don’t follow it) so why can’t ALL MY CHILDREN be presented as a half hour program?

I don’t watch ABC (other than GH) but I hope Corbin wins. I thoroughly enjoyed his work as Jeffrey on OLTL 2.0. I remember what a talented dancer he was on the HSM movies I watched with my kids.

Corbin is HOT! I hope he wins.

REPORT: Nicholas Chavez Not Returning to General Hospital

For those who were holding out hope that Daytime Emmy winner and fan favorite, Nicholas Chavez would be returning to General Hospital after filming his leading role in Ryan Murphy’s Monsters anthology, it looks like those hopes have been dashed.

According to a report from TV Line, although unconfirmed from General Hospital or a representative for Chavez, the actor will not reprise his role as Spencer Cassadine on the long-running ABC soap opera and continue the love story of Sprina opposite Tabyana Ali (Trina, GH).

Chavez was cast as Lyle Menendez over the the summer of 2023 for the second season of Murphy’s limited Monsters series on Netflix. In the upcoming season, the series will focus on the the case of Lyle and Erik Menendez, the two well-to-do Beverly Hills brothers accused of murdering their parents in 1989.

After word from Chavez casting was revealed, GH fans were concerned over the fate of the Sprina story, a spokesperson for GH shared,  “We support Nicholas’ endeavors and look forward to having him return to General Hospital once this project is wrapped.”

In story, the series “killed off” Spencer when he went overboard with Esme to the steely waters below after being injected with a drug, thanks to Esme and falling into the Seine River in France. However, his body was never recovered, and believed to have drowned or washed away. Thus, leaving an opening for Spencer to return in the form of Chavez or be recast down the line.

TV Line shared that ‘multiple sources’ are confirming that Chavez is not returning to the ABC soap opera, which is what many had suspected might be the case once he left for this major starring role in a Ryan Murphy project. Chavez has been relatively quiet on social media for months.

The Michael Fairman Channel spoke with Nicholas Chavez for a virtual interview when he first joined the show in 2021, and spoke to him right after when he won the Daytime Emmy in 2022 – you can see those below.

No word yet on when Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menéndez Story will debut on Netflix, but it is assumed later this year.

Jack Wagner Open to Making an Appearance in ‘Melrose Place’ Reboot and Shares, “You Never Really Die on a Soap”

With the Melrose Place revival the talk of the town, now Jack Wagner (ex-Frisco, GH, ex-Nick, B&B and ex-Peter Burns, MP) has weighed-in on it and if he would show up in the new series if it should find a home.

Currently, CBS Studios is developing a reboot starring Heather Locklear, Daphne Zuniga and Laura Leighton. But what is Dr. Peter Burns were to show up alive?

As those who saw the end of the original MP know, Peter and Amanda (Locklear) faked their deaths and then tied the knot with Peter on a beach, supposedly in a “happily ever after” scenario.

Photo: Fox

Speaking with PEOPLE, Wagner expressed, what we all know who watch the soaps, that no one is never, ever really gone for good. Jack expressed, “You never really die on a soap, right? How they unfold those two characters (Peter and Amanda), it’d be fantastic how they sort of tell that story.”

Wagner added, “That was a great finale to be included in, especially with Heather. If I’m asked to come back, I’d absolutely entertain that.”

Photo: Fox

The original Melrose Place aired for seven seasons from 1992 to 1999. The story featured the residents of an apartment complex, whose lives were intertwined. Eventually Wagner and Heather Locklear dated fro 2007-2011.

As previously reported, the new Melrose Place share that some of original neighbors and friends reunite after a death. The loglines add, “The pressure cooker of a reunion soon uncovers old traumas, rekindles old romances, reignites old resentments, and reveals new secrets… throwing our characters into chaotic drama that’s reminiscent of the past, but with a much more modern perspective.”

So, would you like to see Jack Wagner return as Dr. Peter Burns on Melrose Place, or Frisco Jones on GH, or both? Comment below.
