At least she is a doctor again and not some random-ass sellout fashion designer. Just a shame it is under Bradley Bell’s pen and executive control. Ashley Jones deserves better.

For what reason ? By the way what happened to the destiny brat RJ? Brad totally destroyed the Taylor character and now he is destroying Thomas . He must really hate Hunter Tylo who his dad wrote for and loved but does it really matter we have a scruffy guy playing Ridge and kkl still playing the horney tramp!

Now I like this news!!!

Whatever happened to RJ Rick etc ? Why is Thomas being made a complete nut? Where is Taylor? Whoa what a mess

I would much rather have Lesli Kay as Felicia!!!

Hope for something more than just window dressing.

I’d rather see her here on B&B than on GH playing Krissie’s mother figure lover, yuk!

Ashley was phenomenal as Parker & if you read the articles they all say “she was doing fabulous work as Parker” and the chemistry with Lexi was surprisingly undeniable”
Sick of double standards, okay if the man in the relationship is older; no one says anything but crawl out from under their 50 year old rock to belittle a couple who are happy & in love. Why is it your business to judge someone else’s relationship??

Where were the complaints with Luke & Laura … he was way older & Laura was a teenager! I didn’t hear anyone say he could be her dad!!! Plus he raped her.
Kristina in the store if it’s anyone’s business was 26… not 16 like Laura.

The casting dept must have been high to think she looks young enough to be Brooke’s daughter. Thought she was another sister. So ridiculous…

Of course years ago being younger there was more of a difference but I think now they are catching up to each other. I also can’t see her calling Brooke’s sisters Aunt. Don’t know how long you’ve been watching, but do you know that Brooke had an affair with Bridget’s husband Deacon Sharpe and the result was Hope?

Hi Violet. Only been watching, I think..around five, maybe six years. Was always a OLTL and GH viewer, but started checking out B&B and DAYS a few years after OLTL went off. So, no,I didn’t watch during the Deacon years. I knew Deacon was Hope’s father (was fun to see Sean Kanan the one time he came back since I’ve been watching. AJ was one of my favs on GH so…) But, no! Didn’t realize Hope’s dad is her sister’s ex! I did read Brooke had been at some party and slept with her daughters boyfriend…a costume party… so she didn’t know it was him….or did I get that wrong…

Rebecca 1
Sorry just now saw your reply. I do not get notices anymore when I get a reply. You were right about Brooke and Hope’s boyfriend at the time. Craziest thing I ever saw. I love Sean Kanan too. Did you see when he was involved with Quinn before she met Eric? It was quite the romance, until she threw him off a cliff! He played the same character on Y&R years ago, married Nicki Newman. Our boy’s been around a lot and always played good parts, I miss him.

Violett…glad you got my reply! Better late than never (sometimes those old cliches just really do fit the bill!) No. Haven’t seen Sean with Quinn but I think I remember hearing something about it…I think I also vaguely remember him coming to her apartment she was single to talk her into letting Liam go when she kidnapped him? I THINK…fuzzy because I wasn’t really watching then…and as of yet never watched Y&R. (A few episodes when Steve Burton and Jason Thompson went over…but didn’t continue with it). Who knows, maybe some day (if it’s still on) I’ll give it a shot. So much history to catch up to…but then again as long as google and soap sites are around there should be enough info to get the gist..

I REALLY miss “AJ!” One of THE biggest mistakes to kill him off again! Just when he and Michael were bonding and Michael finally threw Sonny to the curb. Blame Ron; he and Sean supposedly got into unfriendly waters and Ron wrote the character out. Ridiculous. I’m STILL hoping for AJ to come back and I really don’t care what kind of soapy back-from-the-dead story they have to concoct to do it. 😉

Ridiculous! They look and have so much chemistry as mother & daughter! Best on the soaps!!
They have been great since Ashley appeared in 2004!

Glad you enjoy them. They still look around the same age.

American Idol

ABC Renews ‘American Idol’ for Season 8 and ‘The Bachelor’ for Season 29

While Katy Perry is exiting her gig at the judges table on American Idol at the end of this season, that will not stop the show from continuing on. The popular reality-singing competition had been renewed for its 8th season on ABC and its 23rd season overall.

American Idol started on Fox and was given new life at ABC seven years ago. The announcement of the renewal comes ahead of its Season 22 finale set to air on Sunday, May 19th.

As for Perry, she revealed back in February that she is stepping away from the show to pursue other career interests. The show is actively looking for the right chemistry and person to sit alongside judges and music superstars, Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan, who will be back next season, as will longtime host, Ryan Seacrest.

In other renewals, The Bachelor will be back following Joey Graziadei’s ratings winner of a season. The reality-dating competition will serve up its 29th season.

There is no premiere date set, but as has been in the past, the series usually premieres in January of the new year. While ‘Bachelor Nation’ will need to await, just who will be the next ‘Bachelor’, that person will most likely be selected from Jen Tran’s season of The Bachelorette, which is currently in production.

Jen’s journey to find love as the lead in The Bachelorette, marks that shows 19th season. It’s set to premiere this summer on July 8th and will again be hosted by Jesse Palmer.

Glad to hear “Idol” is coming back? Who should replace Katy Perry? Are you over ‘The Bachelor’ or did the last season featuring Joey as the lead, reinvigorate your interest in the show? Comment below.
