Walt Willey On His Upcoming GH Episodes Thanks Lynn Herring, “For Taking Me on This Ride and Making It So Damn Much Fun!”

Photo: ABC

Walt Willey brings Jackson Montgomery to Port Charles this week on upcoming episodes of General Hospital. Look for Willey to bring the Pine Valley lawyer to the courtroom in the case where Deception is being sued for intellectual property theft over the creation of the Deceptor.

Jackson will find himself facing off in court with none other than Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring), with whom he tangled with when Lucy and Felicia (Kristina Wagner) went snooping in Pine Valley as to why Martin (Michael E. Knight) was receiving substantial monthly payments in his bank account.  The episodes are set to air this Tuesday, August 29th and Wednesday, August 30th on the ABC daytime drama series.

Sharing his enthusiasm for working with the team at GH and the cast, and in particular, Herring, Willey shared his sentiments on X: “Just a reminder that my next airdates on General Hospital are this coming TUESDAY, AUGUST 29 and WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 30! Please TUNE IN! Can’t tell you much but will say: this is “Old School” Jackson, definitely “OG,” baby! Can’t wait to hear what YOU think! Thanks to Frank Valentini, GH’s Executive Producer, Casting Director Mark Teschner, the cast and crew at GH, and the inimitable Lynn Herring for taking me on this ride and making it so damn much fun!”

He added a nod to his former AMC castmate Michael E. Knight (ex-Tad): “And to old friend Michael E. Knight for being the most hospitable host imaginable! And thanks to YOU for watching and caring and being so damn vocal to TPTB about what you think!”

Elsewhere, Lynn Herring spoke to Soap Opera Digest in their latest issue about what goes down when Lucy sees Jackson again, but this time in a court of law.  She learns from Jackson, “My client claims you stole his idea.”  Herring adds, “I think Lucy was worried going in, but when he hits them with the actual facts that he has evidence that we stole the idea, it gives Lucy a better idea of what they’re facing and it’s not good.”  Things get worse, when Jackson’s client reveals themselves. At that point, Herring notes, “All hell breaks loose.”

Could there be more story ahead for Lucy and Jackson in the romance department, if GH brings Willey back for more episodes? Recently, Lynn Herring and Walt Willey appeared in a new social media teaser for GH’s upcoming visit to Graceland in October where they revealed Willey has been added to the actors who will be participating.

Lucy and Jackson sound promising bit what about Anna’s nephew Aidan Devane coming to GH as Elizabeth’s new love interest played again by Aiden Turner.

Nice thought!!!! Love it actually.

Great news. I’ll have to watch GH this Tuesday and Wednesday to see Jackson again.

OMG, thrilled to see Walt Willey aka Jackson Montgomery back on a soap & even better its GH. I always loved him on AMC. Please keep Walt on as a regular. Just think of the all the possible story lines with him.

I agree 100%, Deb! Walt Willey coming to GH as ANYONE would certainly be appreciated!!

Lucy versus Lucci with Jackson as the prize

What needs to happen with Walt Willey is to reunite with his daughters.

No, I wouldn’t care to see Walt and Lynn. He’s more serious and she’s nutty as a fruitcake, goes better with Michael Knight.

GH’s Amanda Setton Previews Brook Lynn & Chase’s Wedding: “It’s a Really Satisfying Payoff for the Fans”

This week, Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Chase (Josh Swickard) are set to tie the knot on all-new episodes of General Hospital.

The duo has seen some rocky times between the two of them, but above all else, will it be love conquers all for the good-guy cop and the tell-it-like-is Quartermaine heiress?

Amanda Setton weighed-in on what GH viewers can expect as the nuptials begin to air over several days. “A quintessential, big, long, detailed, beautiful, elaborate soap opera wedding. It really feels like a throwback to the good old days,” shared Amanda with Soap Opera Digest.

Setton added on how Brook Lynn is feeling heading into her wedding day, “She’s getting her fairytale for now. I mean, we’ll see what happens … it is Port Charles after all. But I think it’s a really satisfying payoff for the fans of Chase and Brook Lynn. It’s been a very slow build for four and a half years and they are finally going to get a really loving, beautiful, elaborate, deep vows wedding moment, watching these two characters finally come together.”

“The Bensonhurst Brigade” does descend on the wedding in the form of Grandpa Carmine Cerullo, Grandma Gloria Cerullo and nephew, Gio, who will be introduced at the wedding played by GH newcomer Giovanni Mazza.

Will a good time eventually be had by all, even though from this week’s GH promo everything appears to go kablooey? Stay tuned.
