So happy that Alley Mills won. I never watched her in The Wonder Years but I watched her when she played Dr Mike’s sister in Dr Quinn Medicine Woman opposite her real life husband. I wish there was some way they could rehabilitate Heather and put her back on the show full time

I didn’t think GH would win Outstanding Drama for the third year in a row, but I’m glad they did.

I’m sure it wasn’t done on purpose and was just an unfortunate oversight in the moment, but I’m just gonna say this, I thought it was very tacky of Frank Valentini to mention Sonya Eddy and producer Nkeka Garland in his acceptance speech, but not mention Jackie Zeman. I can get not mentioning Tyler Christopher or Billy Miller, because they weren’t current cast members, but to not mention Jackie who was a current cast member, and was a legend on the show for 45 years, was a terrible blunder by Frank.

Congrats to all the winners, but as a GH fan, particularly Sonya Eddy (RIP), Robert Gossett, Eden McCoy, and Ally Mills. I was really disappointed for Jon Lindstrom, who is long overdue and I was pulling for in Supporting Actor. Unless they write a juicy story for Kevin, which is unlikely, this was probably Jon’s last great chance to win, with Ryan meeting his demise.

As an Emmys show, I thought it was fine. They kept things moving and largely kept out the unnecessary filler. The In Memoriam segment was well done. The anniversary tributes for GH and Y&R were nice, although the video package at least for GH looked more like a 2022 highlight video rather than a video celebrating 60 years. And I complain about this every year, but I hate that they don’t use the theme songs from each show when someone wins like they used to, rather than playing generic elevator jazz music.

Hello Dan,
Yes, I thought it was SO tacky that FV did not mention Jakcie Zeman! I was disappointed and felt it was disrespectful… he seemed high or out of it… didn’t he say he felt anxious? The other thing, I thought of… perhaps, he forgot, which missing Jackie Zeman’s is a major cast member to forget.
I don’t know. I hear ya!
I was happy Sonya won for Supporting, but honestly, I never saw her as supporting, there would be months were Epiphany was MIA. I was rooting for Brooke Kerr or and Kelly Thieband – while I support and adore Sonya’s work and award recognition, I felt the award was best deserved by Brooke / Kelly.

I was very happy for Eden McCoy (Jos), Ally Mills (Heather) – (Very pleased for Ally)… and happy for Robert Gossett as Marshal, however, I agree, Jon Lindstrom has been robbed this award for way too long… he had masterful performances this past year as Kevin & Ryan… his scenes with Esme and Heather were brilliant. Maybe GH / (or forgetful FV) can devise a big storyline for Kevin. Kevin is underrated – there is so much opportunity to explore Kevin in more depth. Oh, I would have loved to have seen Genie Francis at the awards.

Side note: As a GH fan, I was very happy (and a bit surprised) to see Rebecca Herbst on the stage… all I could think of was… why oh why is she overlooked for award nomination/recognition. I get it, it depends if the show or actor submits, and some actors can’t be bothered by the Emmy politics, I get that all that, yet Rebecca is gold in every scene she’s in.

I was surprised by the absence of Nicholas Chavez and Finola Hughes. I thought Nicholas would win once again and I thought Finola would win especially with the scenes when Peter dies. I will try to refrain myself from too much commentary for who again and again in that category. While I don’t watch Y&R or B&B, I felt there were more compelling actresses who were more deserving of the award. I’ll leave it there.
As for best actor, I feel like some of those nominated in this category were ho-hum… nothing to write home about. I was pleased GH won for best drama. I felt it was deserving out of the rest nominated in the category.

I too, felt the awards presentation was good. My expectations were low, but it was a good show, not great, but good. The memorials were good, too. Happy to see Anne Heche on there and others… and those we lost too soon (Billy Miller & Tyler Christopher).

Susan Lucci, I’ll say this much… CLASS ACT!!! She looked gorgeous and so well spoken. I didn’t watch AMC but I respect and love Susan… The Streak is OVER!

I am appalled and very disappointed that Jackie Zeman was not mentioned! Laura Wright presented & Eden McCoy won & neither mentioned her. Someone could/should have! That was the biggest blunder of the night. I too miss them playing the show’s theme when the winner is announced. And the GH highlight video was a big disappointment. Otherwise, it was pretty good.

Forgot to say that Stephen Nichols brought me to tears with his recognition of Tyler Christopher. That was one of the most touching moments of the show. And of course I felt for Susan Lucci when she mentioned Helmut!

Sonya Eddy!!!

I don’t understand Kelly Clarkson’s appeal at all and why she and Thorsten Kaye from B&B couldn’t attend the awards. So tacky.

Exactly! I don’t care for either one of these two, but thought with all the hype Kelly’s been getting on her weight loss , she’d want to show it off. She missed another awards show awhile back too, I think.

Both of them live in New York. Thorston Kaye’s wife and kids are in New York and he obviously went to be with them for the holidays. Kelly Clarkson relocated her show there to be closer to her family and was the host of the Rockefeller tree lighting. How strange that they would want to spend the holidays with their family and not prance on the stage in Cali for you complainers…

Josh Griffith looks like his writing: a mess. How he won for writing is a mystery

Exactly, Y&R a mess, CBS needs to wake up and get rid of him! His writing is awful and brings Niki to drink again is old, we’ve seen that before.

Can you imagine what a pain in the butt for Melody to go through this crap again? Can’t be fun and it’s sure getting tiresome already.

Melody loves it when Nikki falls off the wagon, she’s said it quite a bit in interviews over the years. I think she enjoys acting her character this way.

So disappointed that none of the Y&R lead nominated actors/actresses won.

Susan Lucci gave a lovely and memorable speech, as always; and great and so appropriate that Shemar Moore presented the award to her. Loved that he gave a shout out to his “Y&R family” – he never forgets his start.

G,h sucks

I agree Michael …GH is certainly sucking the life right out of the competition!!

I’m so Happy GH won, and for the actors from GH that won, where was Finola Hughes? she was doing press for the show and celebrating with her castmates but I didn’t see her. and I agree that FV seemed out of it and major blunder on his part for not mentioning Jackie Zeman, He could of mention in his speech that it was a difficult year for the show with all their losses and it would of been better then to just single out 2people.

I was wondering what happened to Finola as well. She was noticeable by her absence. If I’m not mistaken, she was listed in advance as one of the presenters. But it didn’t appear she was there. When her category came up, they showed a photo for her. Perhaps she was sick, who knows. Hopefully nothing serious.

Agreed on FV, to me you either mention the name of everybody from the show that passed away this year, or you don’t mention any names at all. I remember when GH won in 1996, there were three deaths from the GH cast in that previous year, John Beradino, Rosalind Cash and Lee Mathis, and Wendy Riche mentioned all three of them in her speech. Frank could have mentioned Sonya, Jackie, Billy, Tyler and Nneka, or just made a general statement that they’ve had a lot loss this year, like you said. The way he did it, mentioning certain names and leaving out others, was not right.

There is no better place to be on this earth, especially in these trying times, than sharing food at a table with others. That simple idea has been the basis of my life’s work. Hence, as I say in my shows, “Tutti a Tavola a Mangiare!” Mille Grazie to NATAS for this honor.”

While Adam Sharp shared, “Lidia Bastianich’s astounding success combines her love of cooking while simultaneously entertaining millions each day. It is an honor for us to say ‘grazie’ for the many fine meals borne from her TV kitchen and cookbook pages.”

She studied singing, tap dancing, ballet and jazz and became one of the world-famous “Meglin Kiddies,” performing in USO shows as she started booking national commercials and guest spots on such series as “Wagon Train,” “My Three Sons,” “Ironside” and a recurring role on “The Waltons.”  Scott made her motion picture debut at age eight when she was cast by Alfred Hitchcock as the young Tippi Hedren in the thriller “Marnie.”  She has co-starred with legendary actors Clint Eastwood, Geraldine Page, John Wayne and Kirk Douglas. Scott has worked on stage and in numerous television shows and  was the subject of Lifetime Television’s “Intimate Portrait.” As a lifelong fan of “I Love Lucy,” Scott served as a founding member of the Board of Directors for the Lucille Ball-Desi Arnaz Center in Jamestown, N.Y., which is committed to preserving the legacy of the great comedienne. “Daytime television invites viewers into the private lives of characters, often bringing important issues like cancer screenings into living rooms and around water coolers. Soaps debuted the first cancer storyline in 1962 – years before the topic was discussed in the mainstream, and it left an indelible impact: a whole generation of women who scheduled a potentially life-saving Pap smear for the first time,” said Daytime Stands Up host Alan Locher. “For so many viewers, this brought the issue front and center,” added co-host Michael Fairman. “Today, it’s become almost impossible to avoid; but there is hope with cancer research, thanks to organizations like Stand Up To Cancer.”

SU2C Co-Founder Sue Schwartz, SU2C President and CEO Julian Adams, Ph.D., and SU2C Health Equity Committee Member Elizabeth Jaffee, M.D., will also participate to speak to the importance of early detection, exciting scientific breakthroughs, and the ongoing work yet to be done to make screenings and treatment equitable for all.

Everyone has a story, and we’re grateful to all of you for sharing yours.”

For over 15 years, SU2C has leveraged its relationship with the entertainment community – which includes more than 1,100 celebrity ambassadors – to generate public donations, increase awareness and fund cutting-edge cancer research. SU2C research has contributed to the development of more than 10 scientific breakthroughs that have significantly impacted the field and provided new treatment options for breast, colorectal, lung, melanoma, pancreatic, pediatric and prostate cancers.

Haley Pullos Receives 90-Day Jail Sentence Following DUI Charge And Wrong-Way Car Crash

Former General Hospital actress, Haley Pullos (ex-Molly Lansing-Davis) is going to be doing time in jail, exactly one-year after her arrest from a hit and run wrong-way car collision.

The crash resulted in bodily harm and damages to the other driver, and now Pullos who pleaded “no contest” to the charges and will serve 90 days in jail. She was taken in custody on Monday, April 29th, after the ruling.

According to Haley’s attorney, Mark Daniel Melnick, the 25-year-old actress struck a plea deal and after her three months in jail will be sentenced on July 29th. As part of that sentencing, she must serve five years probation, 200 hours of community service and pay $8,260 in restitution to Courteney Wilder, the other driver in the crash and her driver’s license is revoked for a year.

Courtesy/ABC

According to TMZ, the plea deal for Pullos has the “no contest” to one DUI, while the judge dropped the felony DUI causing bodily injury and misdemeanor hit and run charges.

Melnick said in a statement to PEOPLE, “Haley is very grateful to the court for a minimum sentence and for recognizing her remorse and the strides she has made in her sobriety.”

Pullos had played the daughter of Alexis Davis (played by Nancy Lee Grahn) on the ABC soap opera since 2009, but after her car crash and DUI she was replaced by three different actresses until the show finally settled on the current Molly, Kristen Vaganos.

Back in April 29 of 2023, and at the scene of the crash, the police found edibles and mini-bottles of tequila in Pullos’ vehicle and that she was intoxicated. As it turned out, this was to be the second hit and run in the evening for Pullos who had an earlier collision with another car.

The courts decision follows a year-long legal battle with Haley’s pleas changing throughout it, ranging from “not guilty” to “no contest”. She sought treatment for her drinking at a rehab following the crash.

Nancy Lee Grahn, who portrayed Pullos’ on-screen mom took to X on Monday night, April 29th and shared on the sentence and the specific jail, Haley will be serving time: “As Haley’s TV mom I can tell some truths about her as I’ve loved her since she was little girl. She made a HUGE mistake, knows it, owns it & has spent the last yr doing EVERYTHING imaginable to take responsibility 4 it. It’s not that I oppose jail. It’s that I oppose this jail.” The jail in question by Grahn is the L.A. county jail.

So, what do you think about Haley Pullos serving a 90-days jail sentence, and the other rulings that will be part of her sentencing? Comment below.
