Emma continues to lash out at Greenlee but pretends to be nice when Bianca’s around. Greenlee confides in Bianca about the situation with Emma and admits that it’s taking a toll. Emma slips out of the house and goes to Scott and Madison’s; Madison calls Ryan and he comes to pick up his daughter. Emma wants to know why he couldn’t marry Madison. Ryan insists she must go home and apologize to Greenlee. In front of Ryan, a sweet Emma apologizes but she whispers something nasty to Greenlee. Greenlee says she knows every trick in the book and won’t let Emma push her away because she loves her. Madison questions Scott about his movie plans with Marissa and he gets annoyed JR told her about his history with Marissa. When Madison presses for more information, the two admit they care about each other. JR continues to try and win back Marissa. He brings up something from their past which almost leads to a kiss but Marissa pulls back. JR’s unhappy to learn that Marissa has plans for the movies with Scott. Bianca thanks JR for the contract he set for Reese and believes him when he says he still has feelings for Marissa.

Jake and Amanda get into an argument over Cara. They don’t have a chance to resolve anything as Jake gets a call from the hospital. Cara confides in Tad that all the talk about Trevor hurt because she was close to getting pregnant once and will likely never have a baby now. Cara admits to Tad that he might be the best friend she ever had. Kendall invites Griffin to Erica’s wedding, claiming she might need medical attention nearby but he’s given her a clean bill of health and she’s okay to go. Kendall informs Griffin that she is working with the probate lawyer and the sale of the casino should happen soon. Griffin expresses his worry to Tad that pushing the sale of the casino might leave Kendall as a target and he’d like Tad’s help in getting a meeting with the casino partners. When Cara comments that it’s obvious Griffin is connected to Kendall he gets defensive, saying he just wants to get the money so he can open more clinics. Ricky accepts Kendall’s invite to the wedding and she informs Bianca that she’s asked him since Griffin turned her down. Ricky tells Griffin that Kendall invited him to the wedding and Griffin claims he’s fine with that. Diana shows up after having followed Kendall and Ricky reams her out. He thought he made it clear they were done and insists he will make Kendall love him. Kendall lets Diana in after she claims her car’s broken down.

Scott videotapes Madison and she tells her baby that they’re lucky to have Scott in their lives. Later, when they show up for a checkup, Ryan’s there and asks if he and Greenlee can join. Madison agrees but Greenlee and Scott decide to wait outside. Scott tells Greenlee he isn’t worried about Ryan and Madison but its obvious Greenlee isn’t as confident. In the exam room Madison and Ryan share a moment as they hear their child’s heartbeat. Ryan tells Emma that it was him, not Greenlee, who set up the appointment with the psychologist and she decides to go and get it over with. Afterwards, Emma reveals that she told the doctor she doesn’t want Greenlee as a stepmom. Unaware of this, Greenlee feels relieved when she gets Emma to laugh while telling her about her baby sister’s exam. Griffin and Tad discuss the potential threats to Kendall and the need to look into the casino partners. Griffin downplays Tad’s comment that he’s her secret protector and promises to stay back until Tad gets the meeting with Diana. Griffin covers then abruptly leaves when Tad asks if he’s seen anything pertaining to the stolen drugs. Using a different name, Diana gains entrance into Kendall’s, claiming her car’s broken down. Luckily for Kendall, Ricky shows up and covers his surprise. On her way out, Diana warns Ricky that if he doesn’t take care of Kendall she will. Kendall’s shocked when she sees Diana’s credit card with her real name as opposed to the fake one she gave. Griffin covers his surprise when Kendall tells him what happened; he calls Brot to inform him the threat against Kendall is real. Unfortunately, Brot can’t offer much help since there is no substantial evidence. Griffin shows up at Kendall’s to watch over her but says he’s there to give her medical advice. In Diana’s hotel room Ricky kisses her passionately but he’s still upset she didn’t listen to his instructions. After he finds her knife and she says she would have used it on Kendall he starts to choke her. Marissa confides in Bianca that she feels a pull towards JR but is unsure why. Bianca says it’s because she’s helped him through a lot of tough times. JR asks Marissa to attend his two year anniversary of being sober at his AA meeting but she holds strong and says they are in the past and he must accept that. Later, JR witnesses from afar Scott putting his arm around Marissa. When Marissa notices Bianca and the bartender sharing looks she closes out her tab and hints that she should go and talk to Bianca. The bartender does but Bianca says she’s not ready for a relationship just yet.  Amanda’s come to see if Jake can get off work so they can head home and start on baby #2 but Jake doesn’t think now is the best time despite her protest that it will help them get past their tension. Ricky winds up killing Diana and now must deal with her body. Griffin watches over Kendall as she sleeps. She wants to know why he’s really there but before he can admit the real reason Ricky shows up and he says what he was going to tell her can wait. Griffin asks Ricky to look out for Kendall and quickly leaves. When Griffin walks back into his hotel room he finds a dead Diana in his bed. Kendall tells Ricky that the woman who showed up at her home was using a fake name. She googles Diana’s name and discovers she was one of the VPs of Zach’s casinos. Liza and David have sex and she asks him not to tell anyone but encourages him to prove to PVH that he can continue to save lives despite the fact they hate him. David passionately tells Angie he thinks he can help cure her blindness.

As Tad informs him of the drug investigation, Jesse gets a call about the dead body in Griffin’s room. Jesse goes to the station while Tad leaves to finds Cara; after informing her of what’s going on and they head down to the station together. Ryan shows up at Kendall’s and she fills him in on everything that’s been going on.  Ryan wonders why Ricky would tell her not to overreact about an intruder. Ricky goes to Griffin’s hotel room and questions cops about the crime scene. Initially they deflect until Ricky asks to perform the last rites. While doing so he whispers to Diana that he will never forget this. Griffin is unsuccessful in trying to revive Diana and when the cops/Brot show up he tries to explain to no avail. Down at the station Griffin tells them what he knows about Diana. Ryan and Kendall show up and when Kendall says that Diana worked for the casinos Griffin’s shocked. He explains what he’s been doing with his investigation and who Diana is. Kendall’s upset because she had no idea about this investigation and Griffin thinks someone might be setting him up. Kendall thinks if Zach was murdered that changes everything. Both Griffin and Kendall are even more surprised when Jesse says they found two tickets to Tahiti under Griffin and Diana’s name along with drugs and cash stashed in his hotel room. Clearly uncomfortable upon hearing that, Kendall admits that Griffin told her he was taking drugs from the hospital.

American Idol

AMERICAN IDOL: Katy Perry Makes a Heartbreaking Decision as Top 7 are Revealed

It was dramatic American Idol on Monday night. The episode marked the return of the “Judges Song Contest”, where Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie each serve up a song choice for the contestant to sing, and they must choose one and then figure out who recommended that song choice.

As in the past, when it got down to the bottom two from the at-home voting, the judge who scored the most picks of their song choices by the contestants, was in the drivers seat and could ultimately save one of the two performers to sing another day.

After a night of sterling musical performances by Jack Blocker performing Willie Nelson’s Always On My Mind, Abi Carter doing her rendition of Evanescence’s Bring Me to Life, and Emmy Russell performing her grandmother Loretta Lynn’s classic, Coal Miner’s Daughter, the following were safe after the nationwide vote.

Photo: ABC

The aforementioned, Blocker, Russell and Carter, plus Will Moseley, Triston Harper, and Julia Gagnon. However, that left McKenna Faith Breinholt and Kaibrienne in the bottom two. At that point, Katy Perry conferred with her co-judges and announced with tears in her eyes, in an almost impossible choice for her, to save Breinholt, thus Kaibrienne’s run on ‘Idol’ came to an end.

The episode also welcomed back former Idol contestants Danny Gokey, Melinda Doolittle and Colton Dixon for a performance of “Shackles,” in honor of former Idol contestant, Gospel artist, and Grammy-winner, Mandisa who passed away earlier this month at 47.

So, did America get the Top 7 right? Did Katy do right by keeping McKenna for the Top 7 and sending Kabrienne home given her choices? Are there too many country artist contestants left in the mix? Share your thoughts via the comment section below. But first watch what happens when the final 7 are whittled down and Katy’s anguised decision.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Nikolas Gets an Earful from Ava About Sonny and His Meds; Nina and Drew Can’t Seem to Resist Each Other

Ava (Maura West) seems to feel she has a confidante in a jailed Nikolas (Adam Huss) on the Monday, April 29th episode of General Hospital. In story, Ava heads to Pentonville to visit her ex-husband before he is set to get transferred out of state.

When discussing her living relationship with Sonny (Maurice Benard), which Nikolas already knew about, Ava says she is happy about how her relationship with Sonny has been evolving, Nikolas ask if she’s in love with Sonny. Ava denies it, but goes on to say how great it is for her daughter, Avery to be living with both her parents, who are on the same side and not at odds.

Nikolas believes that Ava loves being in Sonny’s inner sanctum and the power that comes with it. Ava fires back that she spent years looking in from the outside and that everyone despised her. When Nikolas brings up Nina (Cynthia Watros), she says Nina never really could understand the true type of man that Sonny is.

Then, Ava launches in on Carly (Laura Wright), and how she would love to stick it to her, for all the times she blocked Ava from seeing her child and Carly’s attitude towards her. Then, Ava admits to Nikolas that she knows that Sonny has a watered-down version of his bipolar medication, which is making him more vulnerable and she’s capitalizing on it for her own gain. She says she needs to figure out who is responsible, but Nikolas voices concern for Ava’s plan and that if Sonny ever found out she knew about it and did nothing, he would be on the warpath against her. Ava promises she knows what she’s doing. When she says goodbye to Nikolas, he looks upset and sad, as he still seemingly cares for Ava.

Meanwhile in Drew’s (Cameron Mathison) office, Nina walks in complaining about Carly giving her a hard time about maintenance in her office. Nina wants payback for Jason (Steve Burton) buying Carly the hotel, but Drew is not up for playing games with her.  She says they both want revenge on Jason and Carly, which Drew denies. Next thing you know, Nina grabs Drew and kisses him. Although, it seems he might walk out the door and away from her, he locks it, and the two proceed to have round 2 of their hate-sex.

Elsewhere, Anna tells Jason about her shooting Charlotte and her concern about Valentin’s (James Patrick Stuart) involvement with Pikeman. Meanwhile, Valentin visits Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) in Pentonville, where threats are laid out to make Sonny look like the guilty party in eliminating Jason, while Anna is the line of fire, if she doesn’t keep her nose out of Pikeman business, which worries Valentin, who doesn’t want Anna getting hurt in any of this.

So, what do you think about Ava’s plans? Did you like seeing Nikolas back on the canvas? Are you all for a Drew/Nina continued affair? Will Anna get caught in the crossfire only to be saved by Valentin? Share your thoughts and theories via the comment section below.
