GH's Ryan Paevey Shares He Shattered Right Wrist In Motorcycle Spill!

Over the holiday weekend, General Hospital’s Ryan Paevey (Nathan) got to share in a fun adventure with friends at the Chilao Campground’s in the Angeles mountains.  However, things took a turn when Paevey apparently had an accident on his motorcycle.

On his Instagram account on Sunday afternoon, Ryan shared with his fans and followers:  “So the good news is…. I got to adventure here last weekend with some really cool people. The bad news is…. Lilith and I took a spill and I shattered my right wrist. #wompwomp #campvibes #camplife #getoutside #neverbored #adventure #lilith #blackbetty #backbeforeyouknowit #tuckandroll”

When Ryan’s fans tweeted to him on how he is doing he related that he had titanium put into his wrist and that he is, “healing fast already. Road rash patched, surgery is over, and Lilith is getting pampered again.”

Send your well-wishes to Ryan here!  And tell us, how should GH explain Nathan’s wrist injury? Handcuffed with Maxie again? Catching the bad guy’s?  Share your thoughts below!

Best wishes for a very speedy recovery!

Most definitely, the injury happened while he was handcuffed with Maxie.

I hope your healing fast ..I think the soaps should have him in the the gym boxing out and that’s how he hurt his wrist.

ohhohh no!
Poor baby got an OWWWIE!
Ryan needs a BIG {{{{{{ HUG }}}}}}} that will make it all better..

I volunteer to be the Hugger !! heh 😉

Ugh. Scary. In the blink of an eye anything can happen. I like Ryan, as much as one can tell from someone they don’t really know. But for all his amazing good looks, he comes off humble, down to earth and intelligent. Personable. So happy it wasn’t worse…

As for Nathan? Does he ride on GH or is that just Jason/Jake? They could have him a bike enthusiast…lol…he and Jason could become riding buds. No? I guess he crashed his squad car chasing yet another perp who got away…

so glad that you’re ok

Hi Ryan!
Sorry to hear about your mishap.
Sending you positive thoughts for a speedy recovery. 🙂
Joanne

Any actor should know better to stay off of motorcycles.. they are not invincible and have way too much to lose…. I hope he sells the motorcycle and moves on… with learning a good life lesson for this young man!!

Poor Ryan! !!! I wonder if RC will write his injury into GH ?

I think they should write it in that he and Maxie were handcuffed again by his own will, but he had either tightened them too tight or Maxie wanted to go one way out of the park and Nathan wanted to go the other way

Heal quick Ryan I love you on General Hospital! You and Kirsten Aka Nathan and Maxie are my favorite couple!

I am hoping the titanium does not cause problems down the road. you are such an active person. I know you will continue your adventures even if you have to scale it down. Much love for a speedy recovery. Hoping to see more great pictures of your future adventures. you are a FANTASTIC PHOTOGRAPHER!! you are a GREAT ACTOR and VERY KIND TO THE FANS!!

Ryan, hope you are feeling better. I think you should take off a couple years so your wrist can completely heal. GH can write him off and say he is heading over seas. The Lisa Niles case has been reopened!

Ah, Timmm….I just knew this news would crush you….LOL. (Still, it was big of you to send your best regards.) Perhaps your “inventive” storyline could include Sappy….after all, she is a so-called “nurse”—-better to use her healing “skills” tending to an injured Nathan instead of squandering all her time babysitting Avery….and Mikey!!!!! LOL!

Shay, I’m willing to bet there would be a lot of “Nurses” who would volunteer to oversee Ryan’s recovery!

No doubt, Timmm, as well as many GH viewers….but I’m NOT one of them! While I have no ill will for the guy, I simply don’t share in the drooling adulation he seems to elicit. Sheesh….it’s not like he’s the “Poldark” dude! Now that one, I kinda, sorta “get!” LOL.

Best wishes and quick healing to Ryan!

Storyline? Nathan and Spinelli get into a heated argument. Spinelli accidentally punches Nathan who tries to retaliate by throwing a punch, yet Spinelli holds up his laptop to protect himself and, voila! A broken wrist…

Okay, this may be contrived, but it’s consistent with current GH story-telling.

Or Nathan injures himself while solo hand wrestling…silly enough for a GH plotline…lol

You’re bad, Jimh… 🙂

Funny jamesj75! You KNOW Spinelli would do that! Lol…

Thanks Rebecca1! It seems logical to me… We need more humor — in soaps and elsewhere!

I can pamper Ryan anytime, he is so sexy. I am here for you Ryan. I will be your nurse. Please get better darling.

With them being hand cuffed perfect opportunity for Clutzy Maxie to do something

Since the show is taped a few weeks in advance, I would think having him injured while chasing a bad guy would be a reasonable way for a cop to be injured.

Ryan, I hope your wrist gets better soon. Sending love, hugs& healing!

Hope you feel better and speedy recovery

I’m so sorry to hear thtst you got hurt over the 4th of July weekend . I hope you feel better real soon. Love a big fan of yours & General Hospital Jennie

Nathan injures his wrist while solo hand wrestling …lol…wish RP a speedy recovery…i injured myself recently and recovery is so slow…sold a power generator that slid off the buyers truck and automatically i grabbed hold of it…now i have a swollen right chest which is extremely painful…big mistake with being already disabled!!!

Ryan, please be more careful, but completely understand that adventure has to come out someway. as for storyline, Nathan and perp wrestle/fight at the top of stair and perp pushes Nathan down and breaks his wrist.. P.S. will Nathan still be able to hold a gun

He breaks his wrist when he is holding the mirror admiring his body … without a shirt. Nothing new here.

lol…that is funny!!!

Honey I hope u r healing ok I miss you . I so enjoyed our kiss and me being in your arms in conn. Last Aug. Please be well come back to GH soon live u honey

Poor guy–get well!. Who’s Lilith?

Ryan I hope your wrist get better and please be more careful them motorcyles are dangerous and I wouldn’t nothing happen to you and I love your character Nathan West with Msxie and I love when Nathan handcuff himself together maxie that only way he control her and they are made for each other.

Hi Ryan,

I am sorry to hear that you were hurt; and I hope that your wrist gets all better soon.

Take care.

“Daytime television invites viewers into the private lives of characters, often bringing important issues like cancer screenings into living rooms and around water coolers. Soaps debuted the first cancer storyline in 1962 – years before the topic was discussed in the mainstream, and it left an indelible impact: a whole generation of women who scheduled a potentially life-saving Pap smear for the first time,” said Daytime Stands Up host Alan Locher. “For so many viewers, this brought the issue front and center,” added co-host Michael Fairman. “Today, it’s become almost impossible to avoid; but there is hope with cancer research, thanks to organizations like Stand Up To Cancer.”

SU2C Co-Founder Sue Schwartz, SU2C President and CEO Julian Adams, Ph.D., and SU2C Health Equity Committee Member Elizabeth Jaffee, M.D., will also participate to speak to the importance of early detection, exciting scientific breakthroughs, and the ongoing work yet to be done to make screenings and treatment equitable for all.

“This year, an estimated 2 million people in the U.S. will be diagnosed with cancer, presenting an opportunity for the public to stand with us and rise to the occasion,” said Adams. “We’re thankful to Alan Locher, Michael Fairman and our friends from the daytime television community, who will raise critical funding to honor those we’ve lost – and to propel new scientific breakthroughs for current and future patients. Everyone has a story, and we’re grateful to all of you for sharing yours.”

For over 15 years, SU2C has leveraged its relationship with the entertainment community – which includes more than 1,100 celebrity ambassadors – to generate public donations, increase awareness and fund cutting-edge cancer research. SU2C research has contributed to the development of more than 10 scientific breakthroughs that have significantly impacted the field and provided new treatment options for breast, colorectal, lung, melanoma, pancreatic, pediatric and prostate cancers.

Lane Davies Joins the Cast of General Hospital Setting up a ‘Santa Barbara’ Reunion with Nancy Lee Grahn

Some very intriguing casting news out of General Hospital. The ABC daytime drama has cast former Santa Barbara favorite, Lane Davies (ex-Mason Capwell), in the role of Fergus Byrne, an attorney who crosses paths with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn).

According to TV Insider, Davies will make debut the week of May 22nd.  As soap fans know, together with the aforementioned Grahn, they created the Santa Barbara supercouple of Mason and Julia Wainwright. Davies portrayed Mason Capwell family from 1984 through 1989.

Interestingly enough, this isn’t the first time in Port Charles for Lane. From 2002-2004 he played Dr. Cameron Lewis and also shared on-screen story with Grahn.  At that time Davies, played Xander Smith’s father.

GH fans are wondering about the last name of Davies new character, “Byrne”. If you recall, Alexis got herself involved with therapist Dr. Neil Byrne, who died when Harmony broke into Alexis‘ house and killed Neil by injecting him with opioids.

Taking to her Instagram, Grahn shared her excitement at the upcoming on-screen reunion with Davies, “It never gets old. We do 😂…. but it doesn’t 😍. Lookin’ forward to another romp.”

So, what do you think about Lane Davies returning to GH to play an attorney in Alexis’ orbit? Share your thoughts via the comment section below.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Nikolas Gets an Earful from Ava About Sonny and His Meds; Nina and Drew Can’t Seem to Resist Each Other

Ava (Maura West) seems to feel she has a confidante in a jailed Nikolas (Adam Huss) on the Monday, April 29th episode of General Hospital. In story, Ava heads to Pentonville to visit her ex-husband before he is set to get transferred out of state.

When discussing her living relationship with Sonny (Maurice Benard), which Nikolas already knew about, Ava says she is happy about how her relationship with Sonny has been evolving, Nikolas ask if she’s in love with Sonny. Ava denies it, but goes on to say how great it is for her daughter, Avery to be living with both her parents, who are on the same side and not at odds.

Nikolas believes that Ava loves being in Sonny’s inner sanctum and the power that comes with it. Ava fires back that she spent years looking in from the outside and that everyone despised her. When Nikolas brings up Nina (Cynthia Watros), she says Nina never really could understand the true type of man that Sonny is.

Then, Ava launches in on Carly (Laura Wright), and how she would love to stick it to her, for all the times she blocked Ava from seeing her child and Carly’s attitude towards her. Then, Ava admits to Nikolas that she knows that Sonny has a watered-down version of his bipolar medication, which is making him more vulnerable and she’s capitalizing on it for her own gain. She says she needs to figure out who is responsible, but Nikolas voices concern for Ava’s plan and that if Sonny ever found out she knew about it and did nothing, he would be on the warpath against her. Ava promises she knows what she’s doing. When she says goodbye to Nikolas, he looks upset and sad, as he still seemingly cares for Ava.

Meanwhile in Drew’s (Cameron Mathison) office, Nina walks in complaining about Carly giving her a hard time about maintenance in her office. Nina wants payback for Jason (Steve Burton) buying Carly the hotel, but Drew is not up for playing games with her.  She says they both want revenge on Jason and Carly, which Drew denies. Next thing you know, Nina grabs Drew and kisses him. Although, it seems he might walk out the door and away from her, he locks it, and the two proceed to have round 2 of their hate-sex.

Elsewhere, Anna tells Jason about her shooting Charlotte and her concern about Valentin’s (James Patrick Stuart) involvement with Pikeman. Meanwhile, Valentin visits Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) in Pentonville, where threats are laid out to make Sonny look like the guilty party in eliminating Jason, while Anna is the line of fire, if she doesn’t keep her nose out of Pikeman business, which worries Valentin, who doesn’t want Anna getting hurt in any of this.

So, what do you think about Ava’s plans? Did you like seeing Nikolas back on the canvas? Are you all for a Drew/Nina continued affair? Will Anna get caught in the crossfire only to be saved by Valentin? Share your thoughts and theories via the comment section below.
