i think it is fabulous – i can not wait until billy gets his own primetime show…………..

From your lips to the producers’ ears. My hope is that these roles get to highlight the sensitivite, sweet, goofy side of Billy and not just the strong/silent Jason type persona. He has the talent to do it all, as he’s proven.

Good for him but his Jason just doesnt work for me…i wish that when an actor takes over a role tptb should sometimes take the character in a different direction the same way they done when Susan Horney took over the role of Alice from Jackie Courtney on AW…instead of Alice and Rachel continue to fight over Steve, the house and all both moved on into different relationships and their own story…putting this version of Jason back in Sonny’s orbit doesnt work the same as the first Jason,,,this Jason should had been in the medical field and not reunited with Sam…both Sam and Jason were a snooze before but are even worse now with a different actor in the role…jmho!!!

Big fan of both Ray Donovan and Billy Miller… sounds perfect to me !

This man deserves a primetime gig (although I would miss him greatly on daytime!).

I think it is time for Billy to actively seek other work. His turn as Jason has been an epic fail!! Starting with the writing, the character is wishy washy and ill defined and doesnt stand for anything. Next…his acting has not been on par with his prior work. He constantly looks bored…like he is just going through the motions minus any kind emotion. There is sub zero chemistry between him and Kelly Monaco. They just mumble at each other. They are trying to portray Jason and Sam as this against all odds epic love story and it never was that even befor!

Convenient that Steve Burton isn’t contracted to any current show…if Billy leaves to permanently pursue primetime anytime soon 😉

I agree, I don’t like this Jason at all, have StevenBurton come back as the real Jason

Don’t like how this Jason acts, would love to have StevenBurton back has the real Jason

Yep! Works for me. Steve is busy doing other things but, after a respite from daytime, he may enjoy going back to GH for a steady gig…after Miller leaves and tptb send Jason off screen for awhile before recasting (sounds like I have it all figured out. lol)

Agree. ZERO chemistry between BM and KM. Snooze.

Ray Donovan is a fantastic show. It’s near perfect…actually, it is perfect! Great gig for Billy to land. Will be interesting to see him in on the show. On a side note, I LOVE Liev Schreiber!

I agree, Rebecca. Billy Miller is an amazing talent and I am happy to hear he will be proving this to non soap watchers.

Can’t wait for the season to begin; such a great show! Don’t know if you read my latest message to you re: Nashville. I think it’s worth giving another look if you stopped watching. Though I HATE that Connie left the show (that episode was devastating) the show is getting better. The two aspects which I truly abhor is the firing of Will Chase (Luke) and the entire “angel/gospel/church” story. Wish they’d drop it and the character. It’s obvious they’re trying to get a more diversified audience so they cut a standard country character like Luke, who I feel had a lot of heart, soul and sincerity…to add a completely different dimension to the show.

Anyway, give it another go or at least catch the last few episodes. If you do, tell me “what say you.” 🙂 Later Har…uh…Addy.

Love Billy Miller and wish him the best. Love him on Y&R and GH. Just want my weekly fix of seeing him on soaps.

Oh, Sandy, how right you are! I was so sad when he left Y&R and I only had 2 older shows on my DVR to watch him on. Even though I think Sam drains the energy from everyone, it doesn’t affect my Billy addiction. I’ll be binging on RAY DONOVAN after series 5 airs so I’ll be ready. Best success to him!

ahhh great move !!
Ray Donovan /Showtime is AWESOME !

Billy has the acting flare to fit in, perfectly !

Poor billy being stuck with Sam is Destroying him..
Jason needs to be unattached and with Sonny, again..
Jason and Sam are horrible godawful !
Billy Miller is a great talent and he is being obliterated by J&S’s vision of Jason – those two need to be exterminated!!

su000, I held my feelings back for so long, hoping things would improve, but I agree with you. Billy is too good and too creative an actor to play Jason AS WRITTEN. That’s where the main problem is for me. Let Jason, and the viewers, have some fun! And stop chopping off his lovely hair.

Not KM ‘a fault he has been sleep walking since he joined GH sorry overated

wait a min a few day’sago Steve Burton Took him to the Hospital for lower sternum Pains he ok now ?

Perfect opportunity to get STEVE BURTON back as Jason, PLEASE‼️‼️‼️

Well do you think he can say the f word without mumbling ? This show is nothing but potty mouth and to bad some great actors but saying the f word twenty times in one sentence too much

I don’t mind all the f bombs but sometimes it’s too violent for me.
I just fast forward through the violence/

Billy is really good & should be a big star!!

Amen, Gerry. Did you see him in his guest starring role on SUITS? It reminded me how great he is when given material to work with. He was touching, vulnerable, and more than held his own with series regulars (he’s actually better than both of the leads). Anyway, I’ll watch him anywhere on any show.

Hes been good as Jason Morgan.
KM is good also. It will be ashame if
He left. Then i will welcome SB ..
N

I can only hope that this is not the end of Billy Miller on GH. I really enjoy the way he brings out the best of Jason. I also hope that GH does not bring back Steve Burton. He is getting too old to play Jason. I also like him and KM together.

Marie – I completely agree!

Maurice Benard Confirms Steve Burton is Upcoming Guest on ‘State of Mind’

Over this past weekend, General Hospital’s Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos) revealed that he is finally going to have longtime co-star, Steve Burton (Jason Morgan) on his State of Mind You Tube series for a sit-down interview.

While speaking with Soap Opera Digest at Nancy Lee Grahn’s (Alexis, GH) ALS fundraiser, Maurice confirmed the taping is happening this week and should be posted in about three weeks time.

Benard shared, “I wanted Steve Burton and I’m shooting him Tuesday, my good friend, but he’s been through a lot and I’ve been asking for three years, but he’s finally going to do it.”

Photo: ABC

In addition, to the episode, it appears Maurice also confirmed he will be doing a You Tube live on Tuesday, May 7th as well at 3 pm PT possibly with Burton.

As GH viewers know, for year Jason was Sonny’s henchman, and his right hand. Now upon Jason’s return, the two are at complete odds, due in part to Sonny’s medication being completely manipulated by Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and his growing paranoia.

As for what Burton will discuss, as Benard teased Steve has gone through a lot of personal ups and downs as well as professional, over the last three or more years, but has always landed on his feet. It will be interesting to hear this thoughts on those matters and how he soldiered through.

So, excited to see Maurice and Steve have a serious chat on State of Mind? Comment below.

GH’s Tabyana Ali Responds to Nicholas Chavez Exit: “I Hope That We Will Get the Chance to Work Together Again Someday”

The “Sprina” that everyone knew and loved is not coming back in the form fans have been accustomed to, at least, anytime soon after Nicholas Chavez last week confirmed his exit from General Hospital.

After months of speculation if Chavez would return to his soap role, after exiting to film a leading role in Ryan Murphy’s Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menéndez Story, he revealed he has stepped away from the role via a post on his social media accounts.

Now, the other half of Sprina, Tabyana Ali, has offered up her thoughts on Nick’s exit from the series. Speaking to Soap Opera Digest, she shared, “I want the best for him and all of his endeavors and I hope that we will get the chance to work together again someday. I also want to show my gratitude to Sprina Nation as well.”

Photo: ABC

As to what the future holds for Trina, and where the character goes from here, Tabyana would like to see a character turn, adding, “I would like her to have a vendetta story or a revenge story. Or the love of her life is gone and now she just turned evil a little bit.”

However, Ali is very aware that Trina is not wired like that emotionally, at least, as she is written now, “I don’t know how much that would be possible. She’s such a kind-hearted person at her core.”

Photo: ABC

How would you feel if the show recast the role of Spencer with another actor, and brought Spencer back from the “dead”, given that his body was not found? Would you like to see another actor paired with Tabyana? Or, should Trina find happiness with a new love, and THEN, a recast Spencer shows back up?

And you never know, as Nicholas Chavez put it in his exit statement, “While there are no current plans for me to return, we are still talking very openly about future possibilities for Spencer in Port Charles.”

Vote in our poll below, and let us know what your hopes are for Trina’s future, via the comment section below.
