Angie tells Jesse about her vision condition as well as the fact that she has to stop taking the medication due to the pregnancy. Annie tells JR her divorce to Adam was necessary and that she is happy about her upcoming wedding to Scott. Marissa catches JR looking at their wedding photo and wonders if he would have still married her even if he wasn’t severely sick at the time. After meeting with Caleb, Marissa accepts his offer to work as his legal aid.  Caleb calls up Scott regarding his dinner invitation. Krystal is surprised to see Caleb’s still in town.  He says he made a promise to himself never to let a Chandler cross him again after Adam stole his women many years ago.  David offers Greenlee a stunning diamond necklace but the gift just enrages her more as he is also blackmailing her for a crime she didn’t commit. Later on, she switches gears and decides to grab a drink with David.  She points out how she plans to make the best of their situation rather than fight a losing battle. Ryan stumbles in pain and is brought back to the hospital.  Angie stands firm with Jesse that she will not stop working. After Jesse blows off a meeting with Mayor Iris, Angie shows up instead and promises the mayor that if she’ll reinstate Jesse to the force he will discontinue his pursuit of David.  Ryan calls Greenlee at her hotel room and is stunned to learn that she plans to stay with David. Greenlee admits to Ryan that she is playing David.  Greenlee goes through David’s stuff and he catches her. Randi and Frankie plan to spend a romantic day together but a last minute photo shoot for Randi causes a change in plans. Frankie runs into Madison and expresses his concern over her getting involved with Ryan. Ryan deflects Madison’s question of whether or not he’s going to stay out of Greenlee and David’s business. Colby overhears Damon telling Tad about the pictures of Liza trying to seduce him and is stunned over her mother’s betrayal.  Liza faces off with Colby.  Liza admits to Tad she switched his son’s medication with placebos. Annie tells Scott she wants to elope. JR apologizes to Marissa for his outburst regarding her job offer and reassures her of his support.  When JR asks about having children, Marissa puts on the brakes and admits they need to rebuild their relationship. Damon and Colby make plans to leave Pine Valley for good. After finding an address in Colby’s room for a hotel in Ohio, Liza finds Damon. Jesse urges Angie to keep taking the medication but she refuses to because of the baby.  Angie wants to protect the baby and makes it clear that despite what could happen to her, she will not terminate the pregnancy.

Wanting to spend a few days alone, JR invites Marissa to the beach cottage and she accepts. Plans get spoiled after Marissa argues with Krystal over numerous things such as her accepting Caleb’s job offer to JR’s desire to have children. JR finds a journal and is shocked at what he reads. Both feeling alienated from their daughters, Liza and Krystal share an unlikely alliance. Colby learns about the pill switch but Damon insists she not call the cops on her mom. Colby insists she and Damon return home. Angie informs Jake that she wants him to be the next Chief of Staff when she has to step down because of her vision. Angie tells Frankie and Natalia about the baby and her vision problem.

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS: An Emotional Nikki Shares, “My Four Years, Eleven Months & Twenty Four Days of Sobriety is Over”

Wednesday’s episode of The Young and the Restless featured a magnificent performance by Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki Newman). The way Melody can play a woman on the edge, battling her addiction to alcohol and failing, in the most heinous of circumstances, is an acting triumph.

Nikki drinks some vodka and then hides the shot glass in her purse. It is clear that Nikki is trying to put up a brave front in front of Victor (Eric Braeden). She tells him, she feels so guilt-ridden and terrible because it had been almost five years since her last drink. Victor tells Nikki, “It’s not your fault when you were force-fed Vodka,” through an IV all a part of Aunt Jordan (Colleen Zenk) and Claire’s (Hayley Erin) plot against her. Victor blames his long ago affair with Eve Howard for all the trouble she is in now. Nikki tells him not to blame himself.

Sadly, when Victor asks if there is someone Nikki can call to help her through this, she says she used to call Katherine or Neil, but they are both no longer with us. Nikki says she is going to attend an AA meeting. Victor offers to drive her, but Nikki says she wants to go by herself.

It is at the AA meeting that Melody Thomas Scott turned in a very heartbreaking performance, as Nikkrecounts to the group what she endured at the hands of Aunt Jordan and Claire. She explains she has been having nightmares about losing her sobriety.  When she wakes up, she realizes it’s true.  She has lost her sobriety, sharing, “My four years, eleven months & twenty four days of sobriety is over.”

Nikki says that the most infuriating part is that it wasn’t her fault. She was literally forced against her will to ingest vodka. She goes on to explain the crazy story, but a true one, that she was kidnapped while having alcohol pumped into her veins through an IV.  The group feels Nikki is making the story up to justify her relapse. Addressing the meeting, Nikki says, “You need to know this. I didn’t take the first drink, but the second and the third, I took those.” She adds, “I am terrified. I cannot go down this road again. I won’t. So, I am here. I know it’s time to get humble again and just focus all of my energy on not taking a drink for a day, an hour, a minute, at a time.” At the end of the meeting, Nikki takes the shot gun glass from her purse and throws it into the tra leaves.

Later when meeting up with Victor, her phone rings and it unnerves Nikki.  She admits she’s been getting calls from an “unknown caller” and when she answers it, this very familiar music plays.  Victor and Nikki agree this could be one of Jordan’s tricks.  When Nikki can’t pinpoint the song, Victor has an idea. They head to the jazz lounge. Once there, Nikki hums what she is hearing on the phone call to the piano player asking if he knows what song this is. He figures it out. It’s “Kitty’s Bounce” from the swing era.

Nikki is becoming further unglued; admitting to Victor that Jordan is trying to break her. Nikki finds all of this so disturbing and worries it’s just the beginning. She says it’s like Eve Howard tormenting her all over again. Cut to Jordan arriving incognito to a motel room dressed in black with black hat and shades. She is ready to strike the Newmans … yet again.

What do you think about how Jordan is undermining Nikki? What did you think of Melody Thomas Scott’s performance on today’s Y&R? Comment below.

DANCING WITH THE STARS: Crowns Xochitl Gomez and Val Chmerkovskiy Winners of Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy

On the three-hour season 32 finale of Dancing with the Stars, it all came down to who would take home the Len Goodman Mirrorball trophy. This would mark the first time the winners would receive the coveted award named after the beloved head judge who passed away in 2022.

With a perfect score for each of their four last dances (from last week’s competitions and the finale), it was clear that the team to beat was Xochitl Gomez and her pro partner, Val Chmerkovskiy. But would America feel the same?

After a stunning night of freestyle routines to close out the final round of competition, and a redemption dance performed earlier in the night, as deemed by one of the judges for the couples to improve upon from a previous performance, the five remaining couples put their best foot forward.

Here’s how it shook out when hosts Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough revealed the results:

In fifth place: Alyson Hannigan and Sasha Farber.  Next, in fourth place were former ‘Bachelorette’ star Charity Lawson and Artem Chigvintsev. Third place belonged to Vanderpump Rules star, Ariana Madix and her pro partner, Pasha Pashkov.

Then it all came down to two, Xochitl and Val, or Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter Jason Mraz and pro partner Daniella Karagach. Mraz had actually performed his latest single, “I Feel Like Dancing” shortly before the results portion of the show.

The Season 31-winning celebrity contestant, Charli D’Amelio, returned to the ballroom floor to present the Mirrorball trophy to the winners. D’Amelio had performed earlier in the finale with her former pro partner, Mark Ballas, for a special routine.

Jason and Daniella were announced in first place, as Xochitl and Val were announced the Len Goodman Mirror Ball Trophy winners. For Val, this marks his third victory in his Dancing with the Stars career. He previously won the Mirrorball trophy with Rumor Willis in 2015 and Olympic gymnast Laurie Hernandez in 2016.

In the finale, Gomez and Chmerkovskiy performed a redemption foxtrot to Katy Perry’s “Unconditionally”, and finished with a freestyle dance to ‘Que Calor” by District 78.

Happy that Xochitl and Val won the season 32 Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy? Who did you think of the final results? Comment below.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Chase Proposes to Brook Lynn; Kristina and Blaze Share a Kiss

Finally, many GH viewers got their wish, when on the Monday, December 4th episode of the ABC daytime drama series, Chase (Josh Swickard) got down on one knee (a few times) and proposed to Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton).

At first, Brook Lynn balked at his attempt as she believed Gloria (Ellen Travolta) and Lois (Rena Sofer) were pressuring him to do so. When she tells Chase marriage is off the table he pulls out an engagement ring. Chase reveals he was planning on proposing at Christmas, so he had the ring ready to go. A romantic Chase shares that he doesn’t want to waste one more day as he clearly knows what matters now … her!  With that, Chase gets back down on his knees and proposes again, and this time Brook Lynn says, “yes!” The two seal the deal with a kiss!

Molly (Kristen Vaganos) breaks the news to TJ (Tajh Bellow), that she now wants to accept her sister, Kristina’s (Kate Mansi) offer to be their surrogate, after all the failures they have been through in trying to find a candidate that will stick.  While TJ voices his concerns, he eventually comes around and tells Molly, “Let’s have a baby,” and now seems excited about the prospect of Kristina being the answer to their prayers. They seal the deal with a kiss!

Kristina and Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) get together with a bottle of champagne, since Blaze’s latest song just hit number one on the charts. During their conversation, Kristina asks what is Blaze’s real name? She reveals it’s “Alison”.

Later, Kristina opens up about her past and her abusive relationship with Keifer, her short marriage to Trey and then how she went away to college and fell for her professor Parker Forsythe (formerly Ashley Jones).  She then reveals Parker went back to her ex. However, Kristina’s takeaway was she realized she was clearly into women. That leaves the moment open for Blaze to make a move on Kristina and the two share a kiss.

So, three kisses moved the stories forward on this episode of GH. Which are you most happy about? Chase and Brook Lynn getting engaged? GH moving forward with a same-sex romance for Kristina and Blaze, or TJ and Molly coming together to agree to let Kristina be their surrogate? Three kisses, three different stories.  Let us know via the comment section below.
