B&B Casting Young Beautiful British Sex Kitten! Who Would You Suggest For the Role?

The Bold and the Beautiful is apparently at it again, ramping up its younger set!

Today via a tweet from Nelson Branco, he related that the CBS soap is looking for a young women, a leading lady type, ages 22-25!

In addition, the casting call said of the upcoming role:  “Beautiful.  A sex kitten.  Ambitious.  Goes after what she wants.  Very upscale, not trashy.  LOOKING FOR AUTHENTIC BRITISH ACTRESSES ONLY!  Recurring, possible contract.”

Could this be young Jackie M. type … with a likeness to the beautiful Leslie-Anne Down?

So the questions remain … who would you suggest from daytime or primetime television that might fit the bill for the role? Who do you think this beautiful British ambitious sex kitten will be wrapped up in story with?  Share your thoughts below!

I think this is the last thing the show needs. Either get Jacqueline back full-time, or recast the role. We don’t need ANOTHER young actress on the show.

I always enjoy your comments, ATWT Fan. But I have to disagree. B&B needs more characters to interact with one another. Both Brooke and Taylor have been involved with the same three men. Liam goes back and forth between Hope and Steffey. Bill has loved two sisters …..

Unfortunately, B&B is only a half-hour soap and cannot support half the cast they have now. Most of their “recurring” cast only appearance once, maybe twice per year. If they utilized their history more (beyond love triangles) and used the resources for cast they already have now, they wouldn’t need extra cast.

I mean, they cast Beverly after Dayzee came to town, and now she’s disappeared into the abyss of nothing. They dropped Amber to recurring and she’s been M.I.A. since. Unless you’re contract and in a main storyline, you can basically look for another job on this soap.

This new role is the last thing b&b needs.I am not excited about someone new when they have under utilized the wonderful cast that they have now.No disrespect to writers, producers etc. But these triangles need to end and tedious recycling of story lines and scripts, ugh . Fix the broken pieces first before finding new characters to bring into the mix. As much as I adore JMW’s portrayal of Steffy, if she can’t come back full time then I think a recast is welcome, even if it is a temporary recast. This soap has become unbalanced and ridiculous. I understand… Read more »

Especially given the fact that Thomas is never seen anymore. What happened to him anyway?

Sorry for the late reply. Thomas used to be in the basement but somehow ended up in Paris, along with Ridge, Taylor and Steffy.

How about Bennie Hill? He was an excellent crossdresser, and even though he’s dead he’d be a more attractive cast member than most they have on contract.

Va VA VA VOOM!

I love the Joan Collins answer!!!

I second that choice. Nothing says “sex kitten” like a striking woman close to 80 years old!!! This show thrived on camp in the Sally Spectra days. Heck, I’d cast Collins as a 25 year old woman determined to bed Thomas!!! Would be hilarious.

The whole idea behind the re-cast is boring. It’s just a way overused typecast used as a fall back when you can’t, or won’t, write good and interesting storylines.

The B&B cast, for a 30-minute show is already SOOOO overbloated, unless they’re canning someone, this is not needed. They just brought on a 20-something this week, but at least she’s related to the core family. A random someone Is. Not. Needed.

I guess no one is objecting to the term “sex kitten” so I will. Come on B&B in this day and age, really?

Instead of another new face, why don’t they utilize the ones they haven’t been using? Or bring back characters like Bridget, Nick, Owen, Jackie, Felicia, etc.

Another young character to no doubt get involved in Hope’s love triangles, yawn!

Lauren Cohan would be great! She really was terrific on “Supernatural”!
