DAYS EJ and Abby Continue Their Affair In The Shower! Will Sami Find Them?

It looks like DAYS EJabby isn’t going to disappear any time soon, especially since EJ DiMera (James Scott) and Abigail Deveraux (Kate Mansi) can’t seem to keep their hands off of each other and this week, it’s time for some sex in the shower! But the question is, will Sami (Alison Sweeney) find them together frolicking in the water?
In this week’s NBC promo from the red hot Days of our Lives, Sami returns from her business trip, and may just stumble upon the duo doing it under the shower faucet!

‘Heated Rivalry’ Star Franco LoPresti Opens Up About ‘Days of our Lives’ Debut as Dante Vitali
Next week on Monday, September 14 will mark the first appearance in Salem of Franco LoPresti in his new Days of our Lives role of Dante Vitali.
Heated Rivalry fans now LoPresti very well from his part as hockey player Cliff Marleau in the series first season. (No word yet if Cliff appears in season 2).
Now in a conversation with TV Insider, DAYS fans will learn that LoPresti is on the soap for a limited run. No timetable was given.

When LoPresti does burst onto the scene come Monday, Dante makes quite the impact as Franco LoPresti explains. It seems that viewers will first see him in scenes in Monte Carlo at a poker table with none other than Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) and Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier). However, Dante will come to Salem to talk to the Brady family about his supposed fiancée Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney).
Franco shared, “Dante was born and grew up in Italy and educated at this pretty top-tier English boarding school. He then went on to build his own dynasty in finance, all the while trying to distance himself from the Vitali name (as viewers know Tamara Braun played his cousin Ava Vitali).”
“But at the core of Dante, there’s definitely an old-school quality to him”, continued LoPresti. “He’s super passionate, he’s sincere and incredibly generous, but he’s also someone that you probably shouldn’t underestimate. Loyalty is something that means a lot to him. As Dante enters Salem, I think the audience will get to slowly peel back those layers and discover what’s really driving him. So, I’m excited for Days fans to go on that ride with Dante.”

As it turns out, LoPresti taped his episodes of DAYS starting back in November 2025 which happened to be weeks before Heated Rivalry became a smash hit.
Franco recalled, “It’s so funny because I thought my episodes would air in a month (on Days of our Lives). But I found out it was nine to 10 months and I was like, ‘I gotta wait that long?!’ So, I’ve been biting my nails, trying not to think about it, and I think it’s actually kind of helped because now it’s here and it’s all coming at me from all different angles. I’m nervous. I’m excited, and I just can’t wait to see it all come together. It’s one of the best jobs I’ve ever had for sure.”
In his personal life, Franco just had his first child with wife, actress Emily Alatalo, just a weeks ago on August 23rd when they welcomed their daughter, Stella into the world.

In a metaphor for the start of the school year and their upcoming anniversary in November, Days of our Lives revealed its “Class of Season 62,” with a very clever yearbook montage on their social media handles, welcoming new cast members, while paying respect to the veterans and “class”-iying the other characters in Salem.
The official Days of our Lives Instagram account shared on the posting, “The Class of Salem Season 62 has arrived. Familiar faces, new names and plenty of personality. Flip through our yearbook for a peek at this year’s class.”
Let’s take a look at how they broke it all down: The Salem Yearbook starts with saying “another unforgettable season,” with some group pics, and then we dovetail into Salem’s new class which features: Sydney Malakeh (Sydney DiMera), Brandon Butler (Mason Whitfield), Angelica Nero (Victoria Kiriakis), Cole Gersmeyer (Thomas DiMera) and Lorelei Olivia Mote (Rachel Black).

Next up, are the likes of: Cherie Jimenez (Gabi Hernandez), John-Paul Lavoisier (Philip Kiriakis), Tyler Joseph Andrews (Theo Carver) and LeeAnn Hopkins (Joy Wesley). Then, in the “Drama Club” section are: Dan Feuerriegel (EJ DiMera) and AnnaLynne Cipriani (Cat Greene).
Following the ‘Recess” section with some group snaps, comes “Homeroom Highlights” with: Abigail Klein (Stephanie Johnson), Eric Martsolf (Brady Black), Rob Scott Wilson (Alex Kiriakis), Lamon Archey (Eli Grant) and Sal Stowers (Lani Price Grant).
The “Salem Spectator” section features: Conner Floyd (Chad DiMera), Greg Rikaart (Leo Stark), Stowers again, and Ashely Puzemis (Holly Jonas). In the “Afternoon Sweets” section look for: Paul Telfer (Xander Kiriakis) and Linsey Godfey (Sarah Horton), Emily O’ Brien (Gwen Rizchech), Stacy Haiduk (Kristen DiMera/Susan Banks), Brandon Beemer (Shawn Brady), plus Jackée Harry (Paulina Price).
Towards the end of the yearbook, veteran performers such as: Mary Beth Evans (Kayla Johnson), Stephen Nichols (Steve Johnson), Lauren Koslow (Kate Roberts) and Josh Taylor (Roman Brady) are featured, plus Deidre Hall (Marlena Evans), James Reynolds (Abe Carver) and Matthew Ashford (Jack Deveraux), Susan Seaforth Hayes (Julie Williams) and Suzanne Rogers (Maggie Kiraikis) with her on-screen daughter, Linsey Godfrey.
The Salem Yearbook comes to a conclusion noting “Big things happening in Salem” and to tune-in on Peacock, where we also find Jacob Martinez (Javi Hernandez), Maggie Carney (Rita Lesley), and a host of other favorites previewing what’s to come this fall.

‘Days of our Lives’ Head Writers Give Fall 2026 Preview: Marlena and Stefano’s Chess Mystery, The Arrivals of Dante and Sydney, Romance Drama for Sarah and Others
As summer comes to a close with Labor Day weekend, the former Days of our Lives co-head writing duo of Paula Cwikly and Jeanne Marie Ford have given their annual fall season preview in episodes taped some 10-11 months ago.
As previously reported this past July, Ryan Quan returned to Days of our Lives and is now co-head writing the show with Ford, while Cwikly is now a consultant. The new co-head writing teams stories will not be seen till late spring/early summer 2027.
So for now, the stories pick up from where we left off with Cwikly and Ford promising via TV Insider, “Fall in Salem is full of twists and turns and secrets and surprises. Dots connect in unexpected ways as seemingly unrelated threads converge.”

CHECKMATE?
In one of the top mystery’s, Marlena is still having troubling memories and she will have another one on the Monday, September 7 episode. Meanwhile, her daughter Belle (Martha Madison) has gotten very close to Chad DiMera (Conner Floyd) and as pictured here, the two smooch while in Italy searching for answers to the chess set that Stefano DiMera gifted th the late John Black and Marlena (Deidre Hall) that has some significance.
The head scribes share, “The (chess board) mystery and its fallout are central to the fall stories. Chad and Belle follow the clues to a discovery that changes both of their families, and Salem, forever. Marlena worries that their investigation/the chess set may be a Pandora’s box that has been opened. And she is right…”
Newcomers are also the order of the day for Cwikly and Ford, this fall. We have already seen the debut as Brandon Butler as Mason Whitfield, and next week you can add as previously reported Sydney Malakeh on the Thursday September 1o episode as Sydney DiMera, followed by the the Monday, September 14 arrival of Franco LoPresti as Dante Vitali.

Paula and Jeanne Marie expressed on the incoming Dante, “The arrival of a stranger who will set the whole town on its ear. The character has several strong ties to the current canvas and impacts many storylines.” What will Dante be up to? We know Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) had mentioned in 2025 she got engaged to the man, but that was off-screen.
LOVE THE ONE YOU’RE WITH OR THE ONE YOU WANT?
In the romance department, the triangle between Brady/Sarah/Xander heats up with a very conflicted Sarah (Linsey Godfrey). The head writers reveal, “When Sarah faces attacks personally and professionally, Xander (Paul Telfer) and Brady (Eric Martsolf) work together to help and protect her. Sarah’s new love for Brady is challenged by her lingering love for Xander. Xander risks everything for Sarah.”
In addition look for, “Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) and Philip (John-Paul Lavoiser) to draw closer as he tries to save the family company and home.”
Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) will also be returning at some point this fall and she won’t be alone. Who might she bring with her? And from the looks of the Peacock promo for next week’s DAYS, someone is wearing Stefano’s ring around their finger, but who … and how does it all tie in this fall?

EJabby are HOT, HOT, HOT! This promo is scorching so I can’t even imagine how hot the actual scenes will be. They are seriously the hottest soap couple in forever! EJabby has brought me back to Days so I hope Sami doesn’t find out for a long time. Hopefully now that Days sees how popular they’ve become and how they’ve exploded they’ll pair them together when Alison Sweeney leaves the show.

IF Abigail drowns in that shower like the turkey in a rainstorm that she is, then I’ll be very happy about it.
Abigail reminds me more of a young Elivira Gulch than anything else. All she needs is a bicycle with a basket and she’d be stealing people’s dogs. The tornado called Sami will send her RIGHT over the rainbow, be it this week or more likely in the future.
That said, how much fun DOOL is, having a character like Abigail I can so ENJOY not liking!
Hell yes, we want it to continue. Ej and /Abby are the hottest thing to hit days or soaps in years. Days must keep it going. I had stopped watching days years ago but Ej and abby brought me back to the show…just the first promo alone was enuff to peak my interest but the actual scenes between James and Kate had the chemistry popping off the screen and i was a goner..now i am obsessed with all things ej and abby and this is from someone who liked sami and ej together. Hell i have loved all of ej’s pairings cause James Scott is just that good that he sells it no matter who he is sharing the screen with so i say bring it days.

James and Allison are a amazing love story , with talent out of this world! Their scripts are true to their characters’ roles. Sex without love is just a release of hormones. It may feel good at the time but you have just screwed yourself. It took Days years of character development to be destroyed in a flash. Hope they have some magic to correct this u-turn of roles. EJ has always loved one woman and been a devoted father.

Sami should kick EJ out of her life for good. Once a cheater, always a cheater. All that glitters is not gold; and someone who is good-looking is not necessarily a nice person. And, Abby, pretends to be a picture of innocence; when she is actually a venomous snake. Hope Sami catches them red-handed and gives them both a beating of a lifetime. I hope EJ and Abby don’t come up with an excuse that it was a mistake in the heat of the moment. A mistake is a red sock getting mixed in lot of white clothes. Having sex with another person when you are with someone is not a mistake; both the cheater and the other woman are well aware of what they are doing. And, still they continue on their morally challenged path.

Help- Now that SoapNet is gone I’ve experienced my first Days preemption-due to local weather updates- and now there doesn’t seem to be any same day access to my show. Hulu and NBC.com don,t air the episodes until tomorrow. Unlike GH, Days doesn’t air on On Demand . And the soap isn’t on TV Guide. Why hasn’t Corday thought of providing access to his show via cable for network interruptions? Anyone have a solution or must I wait until tomorrow ??

Love it!! This is how EJ should have been written from the beginning. Women falling at his feet, a new lover every 6 months, while he acts like the bad guy that EJ Freaking DiMera should be!! He’s too young to be tied to one woman and with two kids. Big mistake by Days to not make him the true heir to Stefano. Not OTT like him but a ruthless, manipulating bad guy. He’s been a bumbling, love sick, obsessed lap dog for far too long. The best thing MarDar did was August 26 2011 with the I am a DiMera speech by EJ. ” EJ: Yes, Kate. Today is a very strong day… and you should be scared. Because from today, I’m claiming my birthright…surrendering to my fate…proudly. I am a DiMera…through and through.” Too bad Days didn’t follow through with it.
I like them together..These two actors have lots of chemistry together..The is the best I seen the Abigail character. Mix in Sami, Jennifer and JJ in the mix and we got an entertaining storyline here.
I can’t watch this story play out, random cheating is never entertaining to me. Soaps use it far to much instead of creating good story lines. I know these are soaps, but that doesn’t mean the stories can’t be good. Cheating and random flings are NOT romantic to me. I miss the slow build, friendship, and romance they were building off with EJ and Sami. Fast forward is my friend until this SL ends. Thank goodness I have Theresa still on screen.
Now that Sammie is leaving I think they should be the new super couple! Their chemistry is great! So I’m loving it!

It’s been obvious all the way through EJ loves Sami and is wanting to work it out with her. How many times have we heard EJ ask Sami is she in or out? The only reason Abby is getting some is because Sami is refusing to step up to the plate. As soon as Sami does though Abby will be quickly dumped to the side. And good job to I say!

well, I was an Ejami fan but am now loving the HOTTTT EJabby; Abbby does not make EJ look like his balls are in her purse like Sami have done EJ for years. I guess I am more of an EJ fan than a couples fan so I am loving him not being the sucker in this relationship. Hell, Sami shot the man in the head and went to go sex up Rafe as EJ lay dying; her so called love have always been suspect.
Sami walks around like that old used up cooter of her is lined with diamonds. EJ has a fresh new sweet thing, he needs just co parent with Sami like Lucas does. He does not have to be married to chick to be with his kids, Sami will most likely start sniffing after Rafe again anyway. Ejami is old news and now that Allison is leaving I say good riddance. James Scott needs to be a part of another popular pairing and EJABBY is it IMO. EJ and Abby chemistry is sizzling,
Needless to say when Sami finds out about this, the wrath of Samantha Brady will be unleashed on that twit, Abby and I can’t wait to see Sami take her down, then leave Salem with her kids, and EJ won’t like that, but by then he’ll wake up!!!!
I don’t see the chemistry. Sex does not make a relationship. What happened to his great love for Semi? This came out of the blue.
No I don’t like them as a couple. Yes, they are hot, but a good romance story should involve more than just sex scenes. So their pairing as part of the ejami relationship as a wrinkle or obstacle to overcome it is okay, but to make them a real couple– no would not want that at all.

I am more of an Ejami fan, so pairing EJ up with Abigail is the biggest mistake the writers could have made. But then, Sami being Sami, she will stop at nothing to protect her family. If EJ valued anything more than he values his own life, it’s his children Johnny and Sydney. Sami is the mother of his children, and knowing she could take them away from EJ at any time should be setting off alarm bells for EJ. She knows that without the children, EJ is nothing. And if EJ can’t keep it in his pants and continues to have an affair with Abigail, you can guarantee that Sami will see to it that he never sees his children ever again. I believe that if Sami does catch EJ and Abby together, there will be plenty of hair-pulling, name-calling, and items being thrown across the room. Once Abigail’s affair with EJ becomes known to the rest of Salem, the seemingly unblemished reputation of the Horton family will be forever shattered, tainted by the scandalous affair between a member of the well- loved and respected Horton family and a member of the most-hated family known as DiMera. If Abigail wants to bring shame and embarrassment to her family, then so be it.
What affair? Abby is available and an easy l*y for EJ. She is stalking him and using any excuse she can to stay in his orbit it’s as simple as that. Sami will only have to snap her fingers and EJ will come running. He may be getting some physical release here but his HEART belongs to Sami. Abby wouldn’t even be getting any if Sami wasn’t shutting him out. Fans may want to read or see more into it than that but it’s not there.
Personally I find it all a little creepy and weird. An engaged thirty something year old father of 2 pawing a girl who barely looks legal. That’s a new low for Days for me. Disgusting! Let’s move onto the next story PLEASE!
PS: And if EJ was so into Abby and losing interest in Sami (as some would like us to believe) why does he cover Abbys mouth? Why does he quickly cover his tracks to conceal the truth from Sami? Because EJ LOVES SAMI 🙂 Abby will feel used I’m sure but she has no one to blame but herself. Abby was the aggressor, the instigator, she initiated it all. She came onto EJ not the other way around. I’m looking forward to the showdown. You know with Sami “pay day” is coming. We are all meant to believe Miss Abby is morally conflicted etc etc. Well blah, blah, blah, I aint’ seeing it. She is finding any excuse to be around him. I think she already pictures herself in the Dimera mansion, playing house and step mommy, wearing the ring etc etc. Abby has a screw loose. First Austin and now EJ…. Will was spot on “What is it with Abby and her thing for unavailable older men?” Missing daddy dearest? Gee Jennifer really has her hands full with her kids.
She will be pregnant with his child, and Jennifer will find out!
Let Abigail have EJ. It is over for Sami and EJ now. It is beyond a wrinkle or obstacle. EJ is acting like a DiMera and I believe the character is being written as a person who wants to destroy Sami for keeping him out of her bed. This reminds me of the early Nicole and EJ days but I could at least see why EJ was attracted to Nicole. The character of Abby seems desperate – she can’t hold EJ but she can and will and has destroyed EJAMI.
Hopefully that is not true…. I think we all need to remember Sami made love to Lucas while married to EJ and then we had the whole chasing, kissing and thinking of Rafe while engaged to EJ. All I’m saying is Sami is no saint when it comes to this area either.
I do think Ejami is can be repaired but both parties are going to have to step up to the plate not just one. EJ has been trying to do that but after Samis little convo with Kate her judgement is clouded. Hopefully after she has her hippy fit and the dust has settled Sami will come to her senses and come to the party. It takes two to tango.
This is why I laugh when some call Abby a slut for sexing up EJ; WTH the biggest slut in Salem is SAMI BRADY; the hooker floats between men like sewer rat; how do they think she have twins with two different fathers, please. pfft
I love EJABBY! I have been watching Days for years and I have always found it extremely uncomfortable to watch EJ and Sami together. After all the terrible things that Sami and EJ have done to each other and to everyone else, and everyone is still calling this “true love”…. seriously?
EJ and Abby are a breath of fresh air that Days was in serious need of. I have seen so many comments from people saying that they will never watch the show again because of this storyline. Guess what? For all the fans that Days is supposedly losing, they are gaining twice as many new fans and returning fans because of this!
So just go ahead and drink some of this kool-aid people, because it’s a SOAP OPERA. What do we love about soap operas? The fun, sexy, sneaky, back-stabbing, craziness of it all!! We don’t watch because we expect to see the perfect power couple ride off into the sunset together and live happily ever after. We watch because we expect them NOT to. That’s what makes it interesting.
Smart move Days, smart move.
I am not I to the EJ and Abby affair. I don’t see the chemistry. Hoping for a beautiful happy ending for EJ and Sami. The doors will always be available for Sweney and Scott to return.
The EJ Sami story has become iconic. It is the best or one of the best stories DAYS has told. Much thanks to Alison Sweeney and James Scott’s talent and on screen chemistry.
To me, it is better to wrap up this classic #Ejami story with a happy ending we rarely see in daytime. There cannot be the happy ending if EJ and the kids are left behind when $aim exits Salem.
Sweeney and Scott deserve to shine and enjoy the next chapters in their careers. They have given their all and the best to the loyal fans. Also a rarity in this day and time.
