Kayla and Steve.

Love the couple, CeeCee…..but can’t stand emojis…..they have always seemed so juvenile to me……just like those ridiculous shipper names. It sort of beggars belief that actual adults use either one!

Yeah, I don’t like the combined names…as I said, if my husband and I arrange our names it would be Jucee.
I noticed that kids love emojis and bitmojies?……
Kayla and Steve have always been my faves…..never liked John and Marlena, as a couple. …looove Ms Hall, though. I did like Hope and Bo, but Hope has lost the real Hope somewhere along the like…too stiff.
Ces and I had a thing going ( sort of a banter) about John and Marlena , which I enjoyed so much…..but, I haven’t seen Ces comment for a while…..
I love Anna and I wish she would stay–with Roman? Hmmm, I have to think about that.
Also, to go to the younger ‘side’, I would love to see Ciera with Tripp, hoping he will have the same “Sweetness” as his father. Ha!

I actually use emojis and shipper names, Shay. Of course, I’m also sometimes accused of acting juvenile, LOL!

@4everDAYS….Aw….no offense meant by my criticisms of said modes of communication….we all use them sometimes as a shortcut. I was referring to purportedly-mature people who cannot seem to get enough of them and employ them with utter abandon….especially the maniacally-laughing emojis!

I prefer JaM (John and Marlena) to Jarlena.

How can we celebrate DOOL couples when all of them are in peril? Soaps need a balance of romance and darkness and DOOL is, again, just depressingly dark. John a murderder? Steve is dying. Abigail has mental illness and murders. JJ and Lani, paternity lie. The Rate and Sami secret will be revealed at the ROPE wedding. I dread that. There will be no happy nuptials there. The only stable couples are over 70.

JUST…NO! Hard pass.

Hi, dav….where have you been? LOL.
You don’t like any of the couples? HaHa.
I wish Ces would put in a few words so the two of us could discuss John and Marlena….what fun!!!!
Glad to see you post, dav….missed you.

I rarely correct anyone, but I feel I have to in order to make my point, Celia. DAYS spells Bo and Hope’s daughter’s name Ciara. Tripp and Ciara’s combined name is Tiara. Will DAYS “crown” them as their newest supercouple? If so, will Claire smash them? On the other hand, Claire and Tripp would be Clipp, which seems painful…lol

The most painful couple is Rafe and Hope. I fear DAYS is hanging itself with “Rope.”

That’s okay, 4ever…you can correct me anytime….no one is infallible. I really thought it was ‘Ciera’ with an ‘e’….
Now I know better, thank you.
I would also like to commend you on your knowledge of grammar…..”Couple” is a collective noun, therefore, singular, requiring the singular, inaction verb ‘is’…..which you have used splendidly, LOL.

I am not into combining names….but, yes, Tiara is much more palatable than Clipp. HaHa….
I like CiAra (LOL) and Tripp together ( do not like Claire, one bit) …..no ingenue, she!!
Perhaps, it is just I, but there is something inherently not right with this girl.

CELIA. .as you can see in the delayed response busy. It’s nice to be recognizably missed lol. I have no idea what you and 4ever are talking about haha. All that name mashing I never got it. Initially I was confused with carjackers (Carly and Jack ATWT) I was like (in my falsettovoice)-“whaaaa”? But on Ciara. .I don’t get her attitude since she wasn’t allowed to grow up before our eyes. Also. .BritBox had me stuck on stupid for a moment devouring the British soaps. Once I got back to ours I realize they really are good I’d been missing out, so I’m binging like a madman. .especially DAYS. THOUGH. .I could have done without Vivian being cloaked in that silly cape. And I’m still OVER Jennifer and anyone else. She’s like watching an Amish or Quaker woman. I call her Goody Horton. And why are Chads pants always so TIGHT. GEEZ! Till next time.

O, I noticed your absence, dav…for sure. …love your dry humor and sarcasm.
I said it so many times before, I dislike the name-combos with a passion!
I don’t get Ciara’s ‘tude either…..she is not the original sorased Ciara. However, I can tell you that this Ciara is much more acceptable than the first.
Of course, we all miss little Lauren….such a prodigy.
LOL… 4ever was just telling me “Ciara” was spelled with an “e”, that’s all. And, I was praising his grammar….I get a little carried away…HaHa…
Jennifer? You describe her to the letter. Amish fits….as does Quaker. LOL. Melissa is so pretty, though….I don’t get why she has been made to play Miss Goody Two Shoes; considering she really is not….none of us is perfect. Soap characters are sometimes portrayed so unrealistically, which is fine, since soaps are mostly astronomically unrealistic…..however, I do not like how their temperament changes by the stroke of a pen, as it were.
Chad’s pants? HaHaHaHaHa!!!!!!! Perhaps, this is the reason he and Abby only have one child? Hmmmmm….Ha!

Ps.
Oopsies, dav….pressed ‘submit’ too soon…
I will take Vivian any way I can….she is amazing to me…her every move, her expressions are ‘artful’…..the perfect foil to any character with a modicum of goodness who is involved with Andre’s/Tony’s? death…..especially now, with all the mayhem going on.
I do believe Claire, with her glassy, other-worldly-stare will be one to watch, in the near future.
Oh, by the by….I’d love to hear you speak in falsetto…if it were only possible!! LOL.
And, I am sure you get the ‘moniker’ Gabigail ( 4ever’s invention). As you have seen, I’m sure, Abby has fallen back into her ‘unhealthy’ mental state, to say the least.
She is ‘acting’ both as Gabi and Abigail; ergo Gabigail. ….only thing is, dav, I don’t think Abby ever suffered from schizophrenia; or did she? When she slept with Elvis, she was Abby, and knew exactly what she was doing. She may have been going through a mental breakdown, but no split personality of which I could see.
I still think it’s last-minute writing. But, I, also, said she may be faking it to get Stefan to fess up? We shall see.

Who are Horita? Will and Paul?

You know Chad and Gabi were a couple last year and many of us love them and miss them. It really is hurtful and disrespectful not to do one of them for their fans. Because of that, I refuse to download either of the emojis for this show.

Now, five leading ladies of the soaps are vying for the gold for Lead Actress and the category marked the first-ever nominations for CBS daytime’s Beyond the Gates when two actresses made the final cut. Only General Hospital is not represented among the actresses this year after Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis Davis) took home the trophy last year.
