DAYS OF OUR LIVES: Jack Wants His Memory Back, But Do You Want Him To Reunite With Jennifer … Or Stay With Eve?

Since his return to Salem on New Year’s Eve of 2018, Jack Deveraux (Matt Ashford) has had no recollection of his past, although there have been some mini-breakthroughs along the way, but none big enough or strong enough to get him out of the clutches of Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva) and back into the arms of his longtime love, Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves).

Next week on Days of our Lives, looks like the story further heats up (according to the latest DAYS promo from NBC) where Jack tells Eve he wants his memory back.  She had held the cards to Dr.  Rolf’s formula and to the serum that could restore Jack’s memory, until Xander (Paul Telfer) got his hands on it, and turned it over in time to save the life of Will Horton (Chandler Massey).

So, now what will happen?  Will Eve play nice and truly help Jack get his memory back, or will she once again play dirty pool?  Meanwhile, look for Jennifer to make one more impassioned plea for Jack to remember their time together, and possibly decide it’s of no use and she must move on with her life.  But, will Jack regain his memory in time to be reunited with Jennifer? If he gets his memory back, could somehow he still choose to be with Eve?

Who do you want Jack to end up with? Are you #TeamJennifer of #TeamEve?  Let us know but first watch the promo for next week’s DAYS below, then share your choice via the comment section below.

Hard to say if Eve will do the right thing but I would like to see Jack back with Jennifer.

Why?

Because after the Dannifer mess and being stuck with Eve puppet. I think that Jack and Jennifer deserve good payoff.

Eve has never done the right thing since the day she first arrived in Salem as a red haired teenager. There have been many selfish evil characters who have lived in Salem. Eve is one of the most selfish, least likable characters, I have ever watched and I have watched Days since the premiere episode, first scene showing Tom and Alice’s front porch. Of course, Jack and Jenn will be reunited, there is no other reason for bringing Matt back. With Steve coming back, the Devereux family will have a Christmas to rival the Horton tree trimming party. It’s going to be epic!!

That may be true. I never saw Eve as a teenager: I was way too young to be watching DOOL. Her daughter Paige was murdered by Ben and that is something no one can expect Eve to ever get over. Jack back with boring Jennifer is just too horrible to contemplate.

Jack and Jennifer were a supercouple back in the day. They had some crazy adventures.

If Jennifer can have relationships outside of Jack. The same should go for Jack as well. But not Eve. Maybe Nicole or Billie Reed back. Jennifer can have Henry. I don’t want quick reunion but I do want see them not able to resist each other but don’t want hurt each other anymore. We need see shirtless Jack scenes too onscreen sex with Jennifer. Matthew Ashford is not old either and neither is Jack.

I don’t see Eve as evil, at all, though I admit I’ve only watched the show five or six years..so I don’t know Eve’s history like you do. But, judging her since I’ve been watching, I see a character who’s neither black nor white but shades of gray.

I saw a woman hurt, I saw her vulnerable to Brady’s love, I saw her adoring his son/her nephew with all her heart, I saw her as truly being gracious to both Claire and Ciara when they were competing for top model in her magazine contest. I saw her truly want Brady to have his son and try to make that happen…and I even saw her truly care for Claire even as Claire admitted she started the fire.

Of course Eve should have told Claire’s parents or Hope; of course she should have made her seek help from Marlena, etc. But I also think that Eve rationalized the severity of what Claire did because she truly began to care for her and wanted to protect her from recrimination AND…it gave her the opportunity to get revenge against Ben, her daughter’s killer. So, no matter the history with her daughter, like Ava Jerome on GH, Eve loved her daughter and as a grieving mother all she saw/sees is the need to get revenge. But I believe, as said, she had/has true maternal feelings for Claire…

I think Eve’s lonely. She has been rejected and is searching to belong; to be loved. Now she’s latched on to Jack. Revenge at first, perhaps, to get back at Jennifer, but it seems she might actually care for him now.

I like Eve and I LOVE Kassie DePaiva. She’s made me forget all about Blaire Kramer (her role on OLTL) while I”m watching her on DAYS.

I think JnJ fans have been tortured long enough. It’s time for Jack to regain his memory and rediscover his love for Jennifer.

I agree. Jack belongs with Jennifer.

I totally agree.

Unfortunately, I was not the biggest fan of Jack and Jennifer years ago. Since Jack’s return, the character has not had many redeeming or rooting value. I would like to see a two new characters introduced (that are not Hortons and Bradys) for Hope and Jennifer. Salem needs a new family because it is seeming too many people are sleeping with their former relatives through marriage.

Blame on the headwriter and Ken Corday both ruin the show and ruin Matthew Ashford return and Jack character for that stupid immigration story and propping Eve giving her all airtime. I can’t stand Jennifer anymore she is too boring for any man.

Definitely Jennifer! I liked Eve with Brady!

Jack and dishwasher dull Jennifer? Please no!

I don’t care who he’s with, as long as it isn’t with Eve. That woman has brought nothing but trouble with her, to Salem. I think if Jack does regain his memories, he’ll run right to Jennifer.

Jack and Jen should be the new Tom and Alice…anyway tired of all the memory loss..Will, Julie(tho brief) and Jack…Days needs to get back to the basics of soap telling and be a character driven soap without all the gloom and doom of someone always wanting to kill someone, drop the masks stuff, and the magically cure for everything…Y&R is a top rated soap because it doesnt always go to the far fetched story telling…Days was once on the cover of Time Magazine…but its becoming a joke and no wionder it stagnates in 4th place..there is some entertaining moments and good acting but some stuff is just overplayed!!!

Hey, Jimh! Long time…Well, from what I heard (and way before I started watching DAYS) they did the mask/face stories before Ron..who I THOUGHT brought them from his face/mask stories on GH. Seems there’s a lotta face switching going on in daytime! 😉
I kinda like it. I watch soaps for yes, continuity, core characters, family, friends, romance, etc…but I also like the over-the-top stuff that we don’t get from other type programming that is based in the non sci-fi realm. Face swapping, back from the dead, etc…it’s all fun to me as long as I like the characters and enjoy the story. I’d rather have that then illness…like GH has become so fond of. Brain tumors, diabetes, spina bifida, Anna’s blood cancer, etc, etc. Not escapism to me. Give me masks and far fetched any day of the week over illness and death…unless they can get some of this back-to-life serum over in Port Charles…

Oh, how I’d love to see AJ rise again. 😉

Jack and Jennifer belong together and always will.

Yes jack and Jennifer
Have watched them all these years and need to put them together again they have been through alot I go back sometimes and watch them from the beginning how they got together they are a great couple

This faux “Eve” abomination doesn’t belong with anybody. Get rid of her already. Even the REAL Eve Donovan never belonged with Jack… though she actually did try to get him back in the day. At least that was entertaining to watch.

Jack and Jennifer belong together. They have such great chemistry.

Jack and Jennifer should be reunited, but after a little happiness, Lexie Carver should return as the ruthless Alexandra DiMera who gave birth to Jack’s child while they were in the Warehouse of Horrors. Eventually, Jack and Jennifer, along with AD, find the child who suffers from a rare condition caused by reanimation treatments Lexie received while pregnant…no skin. The child can’t be judged by the color of his or her skin…

Lexie ain’t coming back.

Renee Jones retired from acting, and after the abominations going by the name “Eve” and especially that bug eyed freak calling itself “Diana Colville”, the LAST thing I want to see is another long absent character recast under the distortions of Ron Carlivati! (He did horrible recasts on GH too. Unfortunately some of them are still around)

After watching GH for over 50 years, Ron’s recasts and horrible stories forced me to stop watching GH over a year ago. I sometimes read their spoilers and I don’t recognize most of the names or have any interest in finding out who they are. As far as I am concerned if it was cancelled, I would lose nothing. I never ever thought I would say that.

Team Jennifer all the way,its about time for Eve to get what she deserves. Shes just to cruel

Jennifer, of course.

it has been pure “joy” delight to watch two sterling acts in conjunction spading CAMERA ON feasting

that’s … Kassie DePaiva – AND – Matthew Ashford pleasantly giving US meat.. MEAT

chew stomp on satiate

so he goes to Jen

big whoopie

oh well

dive

I think that Jack and Eve were more interesting couple than Jack and Jennifer put together. Jennifer deserves creepy Henry if wants perfect. Too bad that Eve mess things up for them. Jack finally had relationship outside of Jennifer too. I hope that if Jennifer does decide to move on forward with Henry and Jack get memory back I don’t want Jack groveling anymore to Jennifer or competing for her affection anymore either because she has put through ringer and her insults and threats should Jack decides does he really need this shrew Jennifer again. I don’t want Jack back being her lapdog anymore either. I lost my faith in Jack and Jennifer relationship. I think that Jack needs women who will appreciate him and love him unconditionally and accept his flaws. Jennifer and Eve both immature self-righteous bitches who only care about themselves and were making decisions for him about taking the serum. Free Jack from Eve and Jennifer.

I was hoping Eve and Jack would last awhile longer. I enjoy seeing “bad” Jack. I used to love Jack and Jennifer back in their heyday but Jack turned into a cartoon character that was hard to watch. I like Jack without a conscious. He is way more interesting. He and Eve have good chemistry. I like Jen with Dr. Henry.. He is sexy!!!
