Days of our Lives icon, Deidre Hall (Marlena) appeared on Tuesday’s episode of the Hallmark Channel’s morning show Home & Family with host Mark Steines, and guest co-hosts Debbie Matenopoulos. Hall appeared on the show in a segment alongside Deidre superfans: Paige Hemmis and Matt Iseman.

Deidre talked about her upcoming 40th anniversary with DAYS next month, receiving her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and what happened on her very first day on the DAYS set! Interestingly enough, longtime DAYS fans will appreciate that Deidre met Mary Frann (Ex-Amanda) when she made her debut.  Deidre reveals she was so taken with Frann’s acting talent and beauty, that when it was her turn to say her line to the legendary MacDonaled Carey (Ex-Tom Horton), instead of introducing herself as “Marlena”, she said, “Amanda”!

Later, a fun clip of Deidre as Hattie Adams from back in 2004 was played, and her superfans suprised her with a video ditty of a summer cleaning of her star on the Walk of Fame!  Plus, Deidre teases there are three love stories this summer on DAYS – and hinted that Marlena and John’s (Drake Hogestyn) might just be one of the duos who say their “I do’s!”

Watch Deidre on Home and Family after the jump, and let us know what was your favorite moment during her segment!

Victoria Konefal Returns to Days of our Lives

Cin fans will be happy to know the other half of the DAYS super couple will be back on-screen later this month as Ben (Rob Scott Weston) and Ciara’s (Victoria Konefal) love story is set to continue.

According to Soap Opera Digest, Look for Konefal to first appear back on-screen during the January 28th episode of the NBC daytime drama series.

When the missing in action Ciara returns she will bring with her a new character named Rhodes played by Jason Downs.

No word on how long Konefal’s stay will be this time, since she has been off-contract with the show since last year.

However, reportedly this this will be Ciara in the flesh, not a conjured up or “Vision” of her that comes to Ben in his time of need.
