Eileen Davidson delivered another hilarious star turn on yesterday’s episode of Days of our Lives when she reprised both her roles of Susan Banks and Kristen DiMera!

The delicious history between these two characters was touched upon when Kristen got the shock of her life when Susan answered the door at the DiMera mansion!

Later, Kristen told Susan she cannot believe that someone like her would have gotten the upper hand on her plans and plots years ago! To get rid of her nemesis, Kristen pulled out via her cell phone call the live voice of Stefano (Joe Mascolo) Susan freaked and left the manse!

When it was over we were left wanting more! But was that the end of the dual roles for now?   Let us know your thoughts on the Susan and Kristen face-off?

I thought Susan was a little too campy but at the same time i actually enjoyed the scene too…Days needed a little humor and this is it!!!

Me, too! I literally laughed out loud! Loved Susan’s scenes with Maxine, too-at the hospital. I think it’s cute how much she loves her “Dr. Marlena Evans” and how she still pines away for John. Kristen and Stefano were hysterical too!

i want more Susan. She was wonderful. The re was something a bit off about her this time around that was different from the past. But I loved her none the less and I hope that we see Susan until EJs last episode but I feel that was it.

Yes! I have enjoyed the episodes so far this week. I am hoping they keep Susan around, at least until EJ exits the canvas. Susan Banks scenes take the show back to the Reilly era, which for me was must watch television (:

I could watch Eileen Davidson every day! She is my favorite actress (on the show) and I absolutely love Kristen Dimera! I was hoping to see more Kristen/Susan scenes today. No luck! I think Susan is adorable and very funny-a bit eccentric and childlike-but very funny to watch!

I just wanted to say what a pleasure it was to watch Eileen as both Kristen and Susan AND Ashley Abbott on Y&R all in the same afternoon. We see the day ahead episode of Y&R in Canada. To watch her performances back to back like that was a real treat. She deserved that Emmy years ago and even on a regular day Eileen always gives her all. I hope she continues to shine for many years to come!

Well, I guess she won’t be the one to guide EJami out of Salem. Too bad Susan was only in for one day. Maybe she’ll return. I would have liked to have some John-Susan scenes. And Susan has never met her grandchildren? That seems odd and if it is the case, why didn’t she stay to meet them?

I thought the character would have been on longer– enjoyed the performance by ED– but as a character a part of me wished Susan had grown a bit in the years since we last saw her. I wish she would have stood up to the Dimeras a little bit more–before freaking out and leaving town— I also thought they might have used a bit more flashbacks to when Susan was first on screen just to update viewers who weren’t watching back them– but all in all a nice treat and an enjoyable but brief trip down memory lane.

Very uncomfortable to watch. It’s a silly storyline, especially with her looking the way she does, her son is a billion and he can’t give “mother” some money to get her teeth fix?

I know a millionaire who looks like that. Susan is somewhat like a child…and what child likes going to the dentist?

Gee I don’t know if it’s just me but I found yesterday’s episode to be a snooze fest – I guess every episode can’t be a cliffhanger – obviously it ended on a happy note with EJ laughing and Sami smiling when the kids were tickling him. I don’t mean to sound overly critical but it was an episode one could miss and you really wouldn’t miss much.

I think there may be more to this than meets the eye…. I am pretty sure it is part of the entire end game for EJ and Sami.

Excellent call, Elite. Spot on. As I myself posted the other day, Susan is here to pave the way for EJ’s departure from this stage. She senses danger…..ultimately, EJ will be running for his life !!

During the lead-off executive session, NBC Chairman Paul Teledgy opened up about the status of Days of our Lives with the network since no official announcement had been made on their end as to the renewal pick-up of the beloved daytime drama.

However, Teledgy revealed:  “We are in a middle of finding out very soon,” and then added, “Of course Days of Our Lives is going to carry on. We love it. Millions of Americans watch it every week. I know that will be good news for the fans.”

Heather Lindell Crushes It As Jan Spears Returns On The DOOL App’s ‘Last Blast Reunion’

On Thursday’s release of the 7th installment of the DOOL app’s digital series, Last Blast Reunion, it marked the first full episode featuring Heather Lindell in her return as the villainess and twisted, Jan Spears.

And as viewers of the series will note, Jan was the mean girl back in the day who had a thing for Shawn (Jason Cook, now Brandon Beemer) and back in 2004-2005 she kept the young man locked in a cage as her love slave as she went off the rails.

Well, as Last Blast Reunion fans will note in the 2020 version, Jan has kidnapped Shawn (Beemer) and this time he is shirtless and tied to a bed, as we learn just what Jan’s twisted plot is for the “Last Blast Crew”.

We won’t spoil the rest, but suffice to say, what a fun breath of fresh air it is to see Lindell do her thing, and remind us all why she can play cray-cray with the best of them.  Make sure to download the DOOLapp to see Jan try to take down the “crew”.  And, be on the lookout on Friday on the app for a sit-down interview with Lindell.

So, what do you think of seeing Heather as Jan Spears again? Would you love to see her jump back on the airshows as well sometime down the line, if she does or doesn’t get her comeuppance? Comment below.
