GH Executive Producer Frank Valentini On What's Next In Story For Jason Thompson: "A Lot Will Happen With Patrick Over The Summer & Into The Fall!"

This week on General Hospital fans of the ABC soap opera are seeing Dr. Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson) a bit more in the swing of things and into action.
Patrick and his friend, Sam (Kelly Monaco) identify and confront the person the evidence seems to reveal is responsible for causing the car accident that eventually claimed the life of Patrick and Sabrina’s premature born son, Gabriel.
During the red carpet at the recent 41st Annual Daytime Emmy Awards, On-Air On-Soaps caught up with GH executive producer Frank Valentini for just a few moments, during the fast and furious arrivals of his cast to ask him what the future holds for four-time Daytime Emmy nominee and GH stalwart Jason Thompson in story.
Valentini revealed, “A lot will happen with Patrick over the summer and into the fall, and we also have Sabrina’s return. Jason Thompson is a tremendous actor who is constantly refining and reworking his craft. He’s always in class, and he is such a wonderful guy and amazing.”
In addition, when asked about his ability to cast the likes of soap superstars such as: Maura West (Ava), Michelle Stafford (Nina,) and Donna Mills and bring them to GH, Valentini responded, “We have a tremendous cast, and we choose everyone very carefully, because of the caliber of actors such as Maurice Benard (Sonny), Laura Wright (Carly,) and Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis) … you’ve got to bring in some pretty big guns to compete with them. You will see Donna Mills (Madeline) again this summer.

The only thing that would make me happy is if Sabrina died or stayed away. I don’t get her appeal. She is one of the most annoying characters ever. Pabrina was horrid, had no chem, was rushed, and Sabrina was shoved down everyone’s throats. I don’t need characters constantly telling me how great someone is…blah blah. I hate her more than Sam and that’s not saying much. I still don’t understand why they didn’t go with Patrick/Liz after Robin died. Would have been so much better of a storyline. Although I enjoyed Patrick dumping Sappy on their wedding day. Newsflash, when a guy is still hung up on his dead wife. You don’t rush to marry him. Idiot.

I would like to erase the hacks like RC that ruined characters like Robin for their pets. So glad many stopped watching and didn’t drink RC kool aid.
Um…you realize the actress who plays Robin chose to leave on her own accord, right? What were/are the writers supposed to do? I guess they could recast her, but then everyone who is determined to hate RC and FV will just find something else to complain about.
And for all those who supposedly stopped watching, there are a ton more who have taken their place, as the ratings have reflected.
First of all Kim was planning to leave GH before Frank and Ron took over…and Kim is a smart woman who i believe wouldnt agree to make these appearances if she believed Ron ruined her character…yes, i agree the writing should and could be better…and speaking of better there were far better GH couples than scrubs whom i wish were still around: Leslie and Rick, Monica and Alan, Luke and Laura, Frisco and Felicia, Bobbi and Tony, and Lucy and her duck…lol

Robin and Patrick took time to grow and became so ingrained in each other’s hearts…nothing will ever compare. Kim M / Robin has been a key character for over a quarter century. KM has other explorations in her life but wants to work out a recurring type situation. If the writers could step out of their “let’s give Sonny his 45th nervous breakdown” comfort zone, they could write Patrick and Emma a story line that worked around her schedule and still be very interesting. Sam, no. Sabrina, ugh no chemistry. Just make Scrubs work.
So, Jason would only work when Kim is available? And if she needed months off. Then Jason would not work?
I am a Scrubs fan and I get your point. But, Jason should not have to leave or just go recurring cause Kim cannot commit fulltime. I admire Kim for following her dreams and I am happy for her.
But, Jason is on the show full time and deserves a story, not just to wait until Kim is available.

If you read my comment clearly you would see that I wrote “have the writers step out of their comfort zones and write a story that is interesting.” With HER being recurring and theirs continues. Veterans leave and their counterparts go on. Robin’s character could be saving her dad, sick, in other words, “not a choice to go, but had to go.” that way Patrick isn’t taking it personally. Therefore, Patrick and Emma miss mommy openly, chat etc. There are plenty of fun and exciting things they could do while Robin is “off screen.” I wouldn’t sacrifice one character/actor for another. But I think they could work around it and be successful.
I wish we could erase Sappy Princess away from our collective minds.
You and me both, Harry! However, it would sadly seem that Sobby has left an indelible taint over these past few years…and what a summer bummer that she is returning so soon. I had at least hoped for a blessedly Sappy-free summer.
He needs to stay away from Sam and Siam. Go wait on Robin or Sabrina and leave Sam and Silas alone.

Robins return is short so i believe the Drakes will divorce as Sam and Patrick become a couple…because of Nina and Rafe, Sam and Silas do the splits but when you add Jason(Billy Miller) to the mix will Sam dump Patrick and return to him?…Meanwhile, Nina stalks Ava with a knife…she breaks into Sonnys home to kill Ava but my mistake she stabs Carly…Ava finds Carly with a knife in her back that is missing from Francos collection…Ava wonders if Franco or Sonny meant the knife for her…without thinking Ava pulls the knife out of Carlys back just as Sonny walks in…an enraged Sonny nearly strangles Ava but she reminds him she is still pregnant…Carly is rushed to GH where her life is saved by Dr.Jason Quartimain who went to the Evelyn Wood Medical School where you can learn to become a doctor in less than 2 months…lol…Anna questions both Ava and Franco about Carlys stabbing and they throw accusations back and forth…Kiki finds Ninas notes wanting revenge on Silas, Sam, Ava and Kiki…Kiki is confronted by Nina and is shocked to see Nina can walk…Nina decides the best way to get even with Ava is to kill her daughter by forcing Kiki to jump out the window but Ava burst in and shocks both Nina and Kiki when she exclaims,’Nina, you cant kill your own daughter!'(we also will learn Nina had her own affair with Franco and Kiki is his daughter after all which wouldve been wonder had Kassie Depaiva played Nina and Michelle Stafford went to Days as Eve)…Nina breaks down and confesses to everything from trashing Silas’ apartment to stabbing Carly whom she mistook for Ava…Nina is sent to MsCavige where she meets Heather Webber…Nina and Heather realize they have a lot in common and become new bff’s plus make numerous unsuccessful escape attempts…lol

Patrick and Robin are soul mates okay? Nothing and no one can get in the way of that. People need to realize it will always be Scrubs! GH even said there not over and wont be over. So give it a rest!
Exactly! You cannot even try and compare the propped princess who was handed Robin’s life to the supercouple Acrubs who have over 9 yrs of history and chemistry to the forced pairing using Emma, Britt and Robin to make it work. It still didn’t work for many and they tuned out.

Johnny, if only!! I want Patrick to go back to being arrogant. Since Sabrina’s make over during the Disney on Ice performance (Nurse’s ball) Patrick seems passive and emasculated. And yes, it seems as though he is always crying. Robin took him on and made him take a look at himself while he took her on about her being a control freak. That’s why they worked as a couple–they were flawed characters with oppositional traits.
Having said that, I accept that Patrick and Robin are over. I’d like to see Patrick with anyone who brings out his spirit. Sabrina merely submerged it and I never saw those two ever ignite any chemistry. I thought Patrick had chemistry with Lizzy, Sam, Britt and even Maxie. I’d like to see Patrick return to being that charismatic, arrogant and handsome devil again. Let this character have some fun!

Teresa Castillo aka “The Nurse” has the right to take time off, it’s called maternity leave, it’s a federal law called the Family and Medical Leave Act. So to say that she hasn’t earned the right to take time off is a really silly statement on your part. You act like she took a vacation to the Bahamas. Get a grip. Just because you don’t like the character she plays doesn’t mean you need to disrespect the actress.
Sorry FV, Like it or not GH DIDNT deserve to win any Emmys this time. This past year was bad. Still don’t know how make up won an Emmy since it a so bad. You shouldn’t see the bags under some of the actors and actresses eyes. So glad the Emmy people didn’t fall for stunts under FV and RC. NB used Robin’s name and history when it was about the coming out of a nurse who has NO history and forced on viewers.
Not sure if you really are asking why they won, but I believe,the make up work they won for was for the whole Faison in a Duke’s mask, and when the mask melted off his face and not for the day in and day out make up.
Most make up wins in movies and television are for special effect make up, aging people, wounds, monsters, aliens, that kind of work. Those mask might be silly to watch, but a lot time and effort by creative make up artists goes into making them– I think they deserved that Emmy. Masks might a cheesy story, but making them takes skill–
I know because I had a roommate who was a make up artist and I was her guinea pig– I lost count the number of wounds, scars, aging techniques she put on me, and she did a mask of my face — hours of work.
I know it is not easy when a show you love goes in a direction that ruins the whole thing for you—so I get why you are venting, but I hope you will keep an open mind and realize the effort the behind the scenes people aren’t to blame for RC decisions about stories
And Y&R deserved to win instead? This past year on Y&R has been one of the slowest and most boring years in recent history. The writing has been and still is pretty bad, whereas GH’s writing was so much better than Y&R’s. I still don’t get how Y&R won for writing and drama series, and GH was completely shut out, without even a nomination – it makes no sense

Patrick and Sabrina had no chemistry.We prefer her with Patrick temporarily because we thought Britt might turn into another Lisa Niles.Scrubs should have their happy ending.Hell Robin deserve a happy ending.
I absolutely love Robin and Patrick together. Their chemistry together was extraordinary and I could look at the two of them together all day long. I don’t like Patrick with Sabrina…no chemistry at all. Sabrina is a sweet girl, but she is not the right match for Patrick. I’ve been watching older GH episodes of Robin and Patrick and oh my goodness their chemistry is off the charts. It’s rare you see a chemistry like they shared and how natural and comfortable they were with each other. I am glad the character Robin is coming back to GH (for a short stint) but heartbroken that this will probably be the end of Robin and Patrick. Thank goodness for YouTube where I can watch older clips of them together.
Agree with u 1000%. The story lines they had were sometimes a bit far fetched but they were real. They always worked it out because of that chemistry they had. I just wish there can be one happy couple in daytime. It will be hatd to accept what is going to happen, but as long as he doesn’t move on with sabrina it will be ok (not ok but u get it)

It works both ways and what a boring world it would be if we all conformed to each other’s view points. We watch soaps for escapism, and commenting about those soaps, be they negative or positive, are part of that escapism. Why you and Su000/Gslam fail to understand this despite being educated to this end again and again is just mind boggling.
I’m not suggesting people don’t share their opinions, but the haters always seem to think that’s what this is about. And what you fail to understand is that criticism works both ways. I criticized you, you criticized me. Fair play. What I’m questioning is why people who hate GH pop up here day after day spreading their messages. Watch something else, it would be a much better use of an hour a day.

I can’t invest anymore into this show, although I’m always tempted to return and see the magic happen on screen with Jason T. and Kimberly M. I have the ultimate respect for Kimberly for leaving the show to pursue a dream, but miss the days when actors (and the show producers and writers too for that matter) would not return to a show when they can clearly see how their character has been compromised. Robin would NEVER leave Patrick and Emma especially after they thought she was dead for so long – and not even for the Saintly (not) Jason Morgan. I feel for Jason T. because he only gets good material to play when Kimberly stops by the show, but part of me wishes that the character of Robin died than to see them drag Robin though this. And Patrick has never been the same since she “died” in the first place. I don’t even recognize him anymore, especially when he was with that Sabrina child. Glad to see that JT is getting airtime and a story for a change though. Good for him! Such a good actor! Sorry, GH. I won’t be watching.
I think the Robin/Patrick fans are a tad over invested. It’s a TV show! You liked them as a couple? Great. They might be splitting up…just like couples do every day in “real” life. Patrick will move on, Robin will move on, Emma will survive…and only you, dear fans…can save yourself from this self-inflicted tragedy.
Soaps unravel lives. That’s why they’re soaps. They twist and turn and spin new stories…new alliances, new romances…resurrect and destroy. Go with the flow…enjoy the show…and chillax……………..

I don’t know jimh…I like Patrick’s stability and charm. He plays “poignant” very well…I don’t see him going over to the dark as in criminal side…especially with Emma. He does need an interesting storyline though, be it romance or other. Maybe he’ll become unhinged…revert back to drug use…he’s been under a lot of stress to say the least. Though I’m hoping not. I like the steady Patrick.
Who cares about Sabrina. So excited Kimberly is coming back and for Scrubs to be reunited. Jason and Kimberly are amazing in scenes together and can’t wait to see more of them as soon Patrick and Robin are back together.
They’re probably not going to be back together…at least not while Kimberly is off directing…or until/if they recast.
Out of all the soaps GH has the most powerful actors, no doubt of that..

Im agreeing with you here…i too would like to see Patrick move away from both Robin and Sabrina, and have some dark and crazy moments…Ive been watching Britains Coronation Street where the character of Nick suffered a head injury and has some dark and crazy even menacing moments that frightens members of his own family…GH should do the same with Patrick…sudden unexplained mood swings and then we learn later he had kept secret a head injury he had from the car accident…id love it!!!

Does Patrick let Rafe die on the table? I’m so hoping not…or…is he responsible for some permanent disability which haunts him and adds to his stress…thus his drug use?

At certain times he did seem to lose focus, and he was a bit arrogant when he was talking about the recent casting additions like MS, MW, etc. But when you’re in charge of a show like GH and have such a talented, star-studded cast, I think you have some bragging rights lol
other people were talking to him like hi etc..
that was easy to see others wanted his attention, also..
he was polite to look/acknowledge them and yet not respond to them while he was talking with Michael ..
I have come to the realization that Patrick and Robin are over. It upsets fans because the story storyline does not make sense. I stopped watching in March.
It was a terrible exit storyline, Robin leaving her family to “unfreeze” Jason. Beyond ridiculous. I agree 1,000%!
GH has been good of late, but whatever happened to Monica Quartermaine? I don’t think we’ve seen her since April at AJ’s funeral (and we barely saw her then). I just hope when it comes out that Sonny murdered AJ, that one–Sonny goes to prison permanently, and two–that we see Monica confront Sonny.
Is FC just as dense as RC or does he just think we are.I don’t drink Kool-Aid, I knew Kim wants t direct, and has acted on this show her whole life and is tired. Suebrinna has no on screen chemistry with Patrick the one she did have chemistry with they sent to jail carlos.What do we get, Phyllis. MS chewing scenery and playing the same old same old. Right down to the jazz hands and repeating her lines three times in a row. We mant no mob. we get more mobsters killing ,in cold blood mind you the character we enjoyed return and we get new jasbot, killer for hire??? They send Rafe off screen ,the kid was dragged around by his mother, and then a lunatic for a father. bring him back make him a druggie, and a murderer. Funny a troubled kid does stupid things and dies, and sonny just kills AJ and goes free. Ava also . TG is not Luke he’s a ??? who cares. he killed his grandson and he never payed. I like Patrick, I did like ME until he became Silas, .I have watched a total of maybe an hour since the last scene SK had as Ghost AJ..FC gets no pat on the back for the things he is allowing Re-Ron to do, can’t pat him on the back, his hands in the way. I might return to see Robin come back but I won’t be surprised to see her wearing horns. Sick a fork in this show its done, the emmy’s knew that.
after 40 plus years I sadly agree with most of what you just said especially regarding MS and ME. and I’ve always been an avid ME admirer. He just isn’t up to par as Silas. Seems like he’s going through the motions. Regarding the possibility of a Robin with horns, that’s funny. One never knows, especially after she’s supposedly been hanging out in a nether world with all kinds of dead or alive ? peeps ie Cassadingos and quartamain/morgan . whodothatvoodoothatheydoosowell.
btw I just might have to stop watching altogether because of MS. Couldn’t stand her on the other show, same exact process on GH. Plus there is no happiness or love to be found anywhere on this show right now-its soo dark there should be some comic relief, which I thought would be brought about by Ilene Kristin-she is injecting some Roxie into Delia’s character (funny word and name aberrations or poetic license take your pick) All the characters are involved in some kind of devious dark plot right down to little Spence working it out with the Britch who is baaack.
I hear you, janet! The show has been pretty unwatchable as of late….a LOT of ff material! As for “Stafford,” you are right on the mark. I was not thrilled that she came on board to GH and as the fabled Nina, no less….it simply doesn’t work for me. However, my greatest gripe about that mess of a storyline is the totally obnoxious, big-mouthed broad of a nurse that they have doing Ms. Clay’s bidding…what a vile, vituperative, abrasive shrew she is….greedy and evil! I had her pegged as such at first sight and immediately couldn’t stand her! Every time she is on displaying her bad manners and arrogant attitude to a thus-far dumbfounded Silas, I just want him to kick her ignorant butt to the curb. To speak to a man in his own home that way is beyond rude and ill-bred….it’s completely unacceptable. I truly hope that we will not be subjected to this nasty piece of work much longer!!!!! She’s as impossible to tolerate as her flip side, the saccharin sobbing nurse. Why is it so few of the characters have no nuances? They are very simplistic in either their goodness or badness, and their one-dimensional aspects make them really boring, intolerable and tedious.
Granted Patrick needs to resolve and move on beyond Robin, at this point. (Make peace w/ it !)
However Sabrina is not the answer, he needs someone fresh, INTERESTING and intellectually
stimulating. I’m sure Frank V can find a suitable match.
Sabrina is the answer she is good for Patrick and Emma. They need a women in ther life that will put them first.
Sabrina is boring and a ‘yes woman’ to Patrick. She puts him on a pedestal. It’s like she’s a different woman when she’s with Carlos. If she could be that person with Patrick they might work.
Patrick needs a woman that challenges him and has her own mind. That is not Sabrina.
JT is a good actor. I’d like to see him do something other than a romance. I really don’t like him in a relationship with Sabrina.
I think Jason Thompson has done some of his best work with Teresa/ Sabrina .
I’ve always loved JT. He does cry a lot but very effectively and appropriately for whatever/wherever his storyline dictates/take him. But enough already. As much as I have and always will a soft spot for Kimberly McCullough and her Robin because I watched her grow up on GH from day one, it’s time for JT/ Patrick to move on to a new and exciting chapter in his life. And as much as I don’t want to see yet another new actress come to GH, I’ve looked more closely as to the possibilities with the existing available ish females on the show, and no pairings would work in my opinion. I thought I’d like him with Elizabeth or Sam, and even Maxie who I think has real great chemistry with Patrick. But that was all a long time ago, and for JT the bloom has come off the rose a bit, same for RH, KS and KM. JT needs someone that sparks go off with on camera and the other three just fit the bill as bff/sis/bro karmic attraction. I think JT is a great actor but he needs some inspired writing. I hope his future will finally be bright. Emma who I think I adore most on the show,deserves to be happy in a complete family.
Jason is a top-notch lead actor, deserving of an Emmy. I love his scenes with the actress who plays little Emma Scorpio Drake. They really seem to have bonded as co-stars. Their scenes are so heart-felt.
Scrubs need to end Patrick and Sabrina belong together
Sabrina will look like a desperate idiot if she takes Patrick back. He chose Robin and left her at the altar on her wedding day. Definitely not the picture of true love.
Since Robin’s been gone and the few scenes that we have seen of Patrick and Sabrina together, they were not playing any “We’re in love” vibes. It was mostly like Sabrina was Emma’s friend and Patrick’s baby mama.
I never watched the show when Robin and Patrick were together. I just want to say Patrick is a very awesome actor and so is Sabrina. I really want Patrick and Sabrina back together i think they are awesome couple. I also want to say another super couple is Nathan and Maxie. There is a lot of talent on GH Carly Sam,Sonny,Britt,Felix,Julian,Kiki and i am excited for Billy Miller. I watched him on Young and Restless he was one of my favorite.
I adore Robin but Kim can’t commit and it’s unfair to make Patrick linger waiting for her. I don’t get the Sabrina- hate but I’m kind of neutral to her character. I think there’s a better match for her out there (either in the current cast or someone new) than Patrick.
I have high hopes that Patrick and Sam will drift into each others’ lives romantically but that Elizabeth will also be an option. I’d rather see those relationships develop esp if there’s a Jason return in the future – having either Sam or Liz fall for Patrick and then the eventual truth coming out that he knew that there was a possibility of Jason being alive … well, it’s just too good to pass up so I hope RC go that direction.
I do not think Kim M should return. I do not think that it is fair to the fans or the crappy storylines that are a result of her short term returns. If she comes back as a guest for nostalgia purposes that is one thing but to put her in a major story line…..
Also the hype about the woman that is playing Nina was over done! She needs to tone it down she over acts!
I agree. The same happened when Vanessa Marcil, who I absolutely adore and love, returned in 2010. The writing was beyond dreadful and the storyline was incredibly boring. Characters with such history and ties to Port Charles should be honored. Don’t allow them to return on such short terms with awful storylines.

There are great stories ahead for GH it seems..It was Nina who ran Patrick and Sabrina off the road and killed their baby ( I am guessing here after watching the last couple of episodes) , so that alone will bring a big storyline for Patrick, Sam, Silas and Nina..Also with Robin’s return, it will usher in Jason recast and different possibilities, so more storyline for Patrick
I like the chemistry between Sam and Patrick…They can make a great and sexy couple…Is it just me?
Jason Thompson is the leading actor in this new generation of soaps, and he WILL eventually get his Emmy.
GH is so over the top and crazy and messy and I LOVE IT.
Patrick and Sam pairing will lead me to watch Steve Harvey show at that time slot.

A week plus of Kelly Monaco on-air everyday as Sam-monotone was extremely boring. The only time she raised her voice to show any type of emotion was when she told Molly to get out of the car. Ugh. I love Donna Mills, Michelle Stafford, and Maura West. Three top-notch lead actresses. Love Maura’s facial expressions when doing scenes. She’s incredible. Please send Kiki, Levi, and the on-slaught of newbies and recurring characters out of town. Such a waste of air-time and their storylines are beyond boring and dreadful.
Could Jason Thompson leave GH and Robyn and Patrick get the happy ending?
Pair him with Sam because it’s going nowhere, because of Jason return.

REPORT: Nicholas Chavez Not Returning to General Hospital
For those who were holding out hope that Daytime Emmy winner and fan favorite, Nicholas Chavez would be returning to General Hospital after filming his leading role in Ryan Murphy’s Monsters anthology, it looks like those hopes have been dashed.
According to a report from TV Line, although unconfirmed from General Hospital or a representative for Chavez, the actor will not reprise his role as Spencer Cassadine on the long-running ABC soap opera and continue the love story of Sprina opposite Tabyana Ali (Trina, GH).
Chavez was cast as Lyle Menendez over the the summer of 2023 for the second season of Murphy’s limited Monsters series on Netflix. In the upcoming season, the series will focus on the the case of Lyle and Erik Menendez, the two well-to-do Beverly Hills brothers accused of murdering their parents in 1989.

After word from Chavez casting was revealed, GH fans were concerned over the fate of the Sprina story, a spokesperson for GH shared, “We support Nicholas’ endeavors and look forward to having him return to General Hospital once this project is wrapped.”
In story, the series “killed off” Spencer when he went overboard with Esme to the steely waters below after being injected with a drug, thanks to Esme and falling into the Seine River in France. However, his body was never recovered, and believed to have drowned or washed away. Thus, leaving an opening for Spencer to return in the form of Chavez or be recast down the line.

TV Line shared that ‘multiple sources’ are confirming that Chavez is not returning to the ABC soap opera, which is what many had suspected might be the case once he left for this major starring role in a Ryan Murphy project. Chavez has been relatively quiet on social media for months.

No word yet on when Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menéndez Story will debut on Netflix, but it is assumed later this year.

Jack Wagner Open to Making an Appearance in ‘Melrose Place’ Reboot and Shares, “You Never Really Die on a Soap”
With the Melrose Place revival the talk of the town, now Jack Wagner (ex-Frisco, GH, ex-Nick, B&B and ex-Peter Burns, MP) has weighed-in on it and if he would show up in the new series if it should find a home.
Currently, CBS Studios is developing a reboot starring Heather Locklear, Daphne Zuniga and Laura Leighton. But what is Dr. Peter Burns were to show up alive?
As those who saw the end of the original MP know, Peter and Amanda (Locklear) faked their deaths and then tied the knot with Peter on a beach, supposedly in a “happily ever after” scenario.

Speaking with PEOPLE, Wagner expressed, what we all know who watch the soaps, that no one is never, ever really gone for good. Jack expressed, “You never really die on a soap, right? How they unfold those two characters (Peter and Amanda), it’d be fantastic how they sort of tell that story.”
Wagner added, “That was a great finale to be included in, especially with Heather. If I’m asked to come back, I’d absolutely entertain that.”

The original Melrose Place aired for seven seasons from 1992 to 1999. The story featured the residents of an apartment complex, whose lives were intertwined. Eventually Wagner and Heather Locklear dated fro 2007-2011.
As previously reported, the new Melrose Place share that some of original neighbors and friends reunite after a death. The loglines add, “The pressure cooker of a reunion soon uncovers old traumas, rekindles old romances, reignites old resentments, and reveals new secrets… throwing our characters into chaotic drama that’s reminiscent of the past, but with a much more modern perspective.”

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Brook Lynn and Chase Have Their Bachelor and Bachelorette Parties
On General Hospital, Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Chase (Josh Swickard) both were treated to Bachelorette and Bachelor parties to shake off any of those pre-wedding jitters. At The Savoy, the ladies have a touching and fun time with Brook Lynn.
The bride-to-be gives a speech to thank everyone for coming, while Lois lets everyone know to try the signature cocktail the “Brooklynn Chaser”, which gets everybody eventually and mostly, drunk.
When Tracy (Jane Elliot) questions Lois (Rena Sofer) as to why there is no music for the party, Lois realizes she forgot, and somehow, who does she call to the rescue? Spinelli (Bradford Anderson)! Saving the day, he winds up playing some tunes and later gets on the dance floor to ‘shake it off’ with the gals.

Lois makes a speech as the mother of the bride, and shares how proud she is of the woman Brook Lynn has become. Wedding games begin, including one of “hot potato” with a wedding bouquet.
When it’s time for the “Silly Poses” section of the party, Spinelli has now morphed from DJ to staff photographer taking memorable photos of the ladies to remember the evening by.

The best part of the event, was when Brook Lynn tries to get her grandmother Tracy out on the dance floor, which, at first, she refuses. After several of the guests bust a move, a tipsy Tracy joins the dance party after Joss mentions that if her grandmother Bobbie was here, she would dance. Tracy says “she agrees” and begins to cut a rug on the floor, much to the delight of the other women.

In the final moments, a tipsy Joss and Kristina (Kate Mansi) have a confrontation about Sonny, and Joss lets Kristina in more on Sonny’s behavior, which looks to have clued in Kristina a bit more as to how something is way off about her dad.

Across town at the Hatchett Bar, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and the men with the exception of Anna (Finola Hughes) and Jordan (Tanisha Harper), all attend Chase’s Bachelor Party where throwing hatchets into a dart board for supremacy is the order of the day. Drew (Cameron Mathison) and Ned (Wally Kurth) get into some words over ELQ, while Dante makes a toast to his police partner, Chase.

Suddenly Dex (Evan Hofer) shows up. Chase thanks Dex for coming, but Dex gets some dirty looks from other cops on the force. Dante gives Chase his present, which is a signed baseball by the Boston Red Sox.
Ned (Wally Kurth) makes a speech that although no one is good enough for his daughter, Brook Lynn, Chase has come closer than anyone has, so welcome to the family. Running in at the end is Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez), who just left Brook Lynn’s party, and she toasts her singing partner, Chase, and to the great man that he is.
