If you thought the scene where a devastated Taggert breaks down in the General Hospital elevator was heartbreaking … just wait! There’s more to the story!
This week on the ABC daytime drama series, upcoming previews indicated that the always stoic Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) is really struggling with more than just over the results of the DNA tests that proved Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) is actually the biological daughter of Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), not him.
According to Soap Opera Digest (in their latest issue on newsstands now), Taggert will go on a bender and wind up talking it all out with none other than Jordan (Tanisha Harper).

Réal Andrews told SOD on the scenes: “Tagger is always so stoic. He’s always been that tough guy that doesn’t really show emotions. but here, you’re going to see 27 years of pent-up emotions come unraveled. He’s spiraling and the alcohol is obviously a part of it. And when he’s talking about what he’s going through, he’s triggered, you know? His whole past is unraveling in front of him, right down to why his marriage failed. He’s having to face, for the first time, that he’s responsible for most of it,”
The actor also reports that following the scenes, the crew gave him a standing ovation sharing, “I was so humbled. It was very touching.”
So, GH fans get your hankies ready! This ought to be one of those moments that will forever tug at your heartstrings.

Who you calling a SLUT because it sure ain’t Jordan. Unlike Portia, Jordan always knew who her son father was from the jump unlike Portia. She kept that secret to protect her child but, everyone in the Curtis family KNEW it wasn’t his brother child.
If that AIN’T the pot calling the Kettle a name. Portia cheated on Taggert with Curtis while she was married and supposedly got pregnant with Curyid child. When she met Curtis again, he was married this time to Jordan but that didn’t stop her from interfering in his marriage before having sex with him. GRANTED BOTH OF THEM SHOULD HAVE VERIFIED THAT THE DIVORCE HAD BEEN FINALIZED ALL THOSE MONTHS JORDAN WAS IN A COMA BUT they didn’t!!

I’m hoping that the DNA results are wrong and Taggart is Trina’s dad. It was heart breaking to watch Taggart emotional response after the results were released.
It was gut wrenching to watch collapse!!! It made me cry!!!! We all can imagine that kind of news!!! Ugh!!! Great acting!!!!

I’m hoping that Selina Wu interfered with the DNA results & that Tagert is indeed Trina’s bio dad. They have such a special father daughter relationship. I’m just over Curtis’s hypocritical standards & Portia’s interference with Trina/Spencer.
Totally agree. Cant wait til Portia finds out Jordan just slept with brother. But she’s not gonna stop her from sniffing all around Curtis! And when Trina finds out everything Portia is doing to break her & Spencer up…it’s curtains for Portia. Can’t wait til she loses both Curtis & Trina. Can’t stand her!

I believe Selena Woo tampered with the DNA test. To have control over Curtis so he can do what she needs him to do in fear that harm could come to his daughter!

Supposedly Brad hadn’t even met Selina at the time he was up to his lab test tricks with Britch.

Nah, they aren’t going there, because Spencer is Sonny’s nephew. Also, Trina’s darker than any of her three parents as it is, so the odds of her having a white father are roughly equal to that of me opening a ski resort on Beelzebub Mountain tomorrow.

I believe that Taggert is really Trinas biological father. Selena Wu doctored the tests results to make Curtis the father. Why because she knew he got an offer from the WSB if it turned out that trina wasnt curtis daughter he would most likely take the wsb up on their offer and Curtis might close down his club and Selena Wu wouldnt be able to have access to curtis back room to conduct her gambling ring among other things with Wu you never know. Taggert needs to get Trina’ s DNA some how and his and keep quiet that he is doing it. Run it thru the PCPD lab. Doing it quietly. I feel Selina Wu altered the lab report between Curtis and Trina to hold it over Curtis’ head. So she can keep her back room Poker games going at the Savoy.

I don’t know why but, when the other girl was playing Trina, I for some reason though she was Curtis’s daughter. Marcus is a good guy but,if Trina is Curtis’s daughter then it should be left at that. I would hate for Trina to also spiral out, especially since it seems that Portia would continue to be dishonest to get her own way. I believe that Trina should stay Taggert daughter but good old mamma dearest should evaporate completely. I love Spencer and Trina together as well as Jordan with Curtis but, he need a lesson in treating Jordan right. SO it’s cosmic justice if Jordan and Portia brother hook up for awhile before all her lies to keep Curtis catches up and ends his romance with Jordan as well.

They need to make it that Portia rigged the results to make it look like Curtis is Trina’s read dad, just so she can get back together with him. Figuring that Taggart would be able to handle it but he can’t. now that would be a great story, then taggert discovers the real truth and hell breaks out, Curtis leaves and Taggert leaves…..

So now it looks like Taggert could be the new police commissioner, now that Jordan’s getting kicked upstairs to be Laura’s deputy mayor.
While the gig might be good fit for him under normal circumstances, something tells me it’s not going to go well, if he takes on that kind of responsibility while in the middle of a personal meltdown.
Looks like there is another new actor in the younger set on General Hospital. Tristan Riggs is taking over the role of Elizabeth Webber’s (Rebecca Herbst) son, Aiden.
Previously, Enzo De Angelis played the part of Liz and Lucky’s (formerly Jonathan Jackson) son since 2021. Soap Opera Digest confirmed that Riggs is now firmly in the part.
The switch happened on today’s Thursday May 2nd episode in scenes. Recently, Aiden came out as gay to him mom after admitting his interest in one of his classmates.

As Riggs begins in the part, it looks like Aiden is being bullied at school. Elizabeth is trying to get to the bottom of things and made an appointment with school counselors to find out what’s going on, after seeing his book bag had pink paint on it.
Riggs has been acting since he was 7-year-0ld and has appeared on the TV series Walker, True Lies and Best Foot Forward to name a few.

Juliet Donenfeld is the Temporary Recast as General Hospital’s Georgie

Those who saw the GH preview for today’s May 2nd episode were a bit confused when they saw a young actress sitting with Lois (Rena Sofer) and Violet (Jophielle Love). As it turns out, that young girl is a recast Georgie.
Juliet Donenfeld is stepping into the role temporarily replacing Lily Fisher. As viewers know, Georgie is the young daughter of Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) named after Maxie’s sister, Georgie who passed away.
According to Soap Opera News, Fisher will be back soon in the part.
As for Donenfeld’s credits, she has appeared as JJ in the Netflix’s WWE series The Big Show Show, Better Call Saul, Good Girls, Station 19, and Sydney to the Max to name but a few.
In addition, Juliet became the youngest nominee for an Annie Award, gaining recognition for voicing the character of Sally Squirrel in the Animated TV/Broadcast Production of Pete the Cat.
