Former Fuller House, Edge of Night, and When Calls the Heart star, Lori Loughlin, has landed her first acting role since jail time and her part in the College Admissions Scandal; where she and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, paid half a million dollars in bribes to get their two daughters, Olivia Jade and Isabella Rose, accepted into the University of Southern California.

While, Jade is now also in this season’s Dancing with the Stars, now comes word that Loughlin has gotten her first acting gig since all the legal trouble, and while still on probation following her two months in jail.

Look for Lori to reprise her beloved role of Abigail from When Calls the Heart on its season two spin-off on GAC Family, When Hope Calls.

According to Deadline: Loughlin will appear in the two-part Season 2 premiere titled When Hope Calls: A Country Christmas, to air on Saturday, December, 18th.  Lori was last seen on TV as Abigail in Season 6 of Hallmark’s When Calls the Heart before she was let go over her involvement in the college admissions scandal.

Last week, speculation began that Loughlin may be back working after a report surfaced from Mercury News  that she had been granted permission by a Boston federal judge to travel to Canada for about a week in late September-early October for “a filming production project.”

So, what do you think about Lori’s return to acting following serving jail time? Will you be watching her as Abigail on When Hope Calls: A Country Christmas? Comment below.

That was a smart move grabbing When Hope Calls for GAC Family and also grabbing Lori Loughlin will give them buzz to bring attention to their new network GAC Family.

She made a mistake and she paid for her actions. Her life still has to go on and I think it would be great to see her acting again. It’s not like she was a serial killer. Leave well enough alone and let the woman pursue her career. I’m glad to hear she’s coming back.

Does GAC Family get tax credits for employing a convicted felon?

I liked her on When Calls The Heart and I will watch her again but I wish she was on the other show. She has payed her dues.

Who’s surprised? Replace La Loughlin? Are you kidding? Let her kid kick off the apology tour first on DWTS cuz they’re quite controversial over on that show anyway. “NEXT ELITIST PLEASE”! Safe to say some of us would be UNDER the jail being called everything but a child of God. You know how that goes right? If you’re another race, not just black, trans, gay, etc. Good on Hallmark. Always sending the very best. Excuse me while I VOM! That whole family is laughing at the system.

I welcome her back but hope she returns to When Calls The Heart. That is where she belongs.

I am so excited. I am also hoping Garage Sale Mysteries returns!

I’d love to see them reboot “Edge of Night,” perhaps as a prime-time crime serial. Bring Lori back as Jody, now the Monticello DA!

She served her time and I think she has been punished enough. Everone deserves a second chance. Good for her. Now Hallmark get over it and restart her mystery movies.

THIS IS SUCH BULLCRAP!!!!! I mean…to me, BOTH Lori Loughlin and that husband of hers HAVE NOT PAID their debt (or whatever) to society!!!!! AN ULTIMATE MISCARRIAGE OF JUSTICE ALL THE WAY!!!!!

jaybird369
What exactly would be enough payment? She certainly isn’t the only parent greasing the wheels to help their not quite smart enough child make it through, while the rest have to succeed on merit and brains alone. I’ll bet there are many more people getting away with stuff like that, that we never hear about because they are only rich, but not famous enough to make headlines.

Boy, I hope you never make a mistake! Lori Loughlin & her husband did a Trump manipulation move! He’s not been put into the brink yet? Still thinks he can run for President “that’s on US”!
Meaning if you seriously think she’s the only person with the means to give their kids a leg up, wow nieve. I love her, she owed it, ive made mistakes. Live & learn.
You should be more outraged by who rolled over to keep Ass out of prison! She actually did way more her child wasn’t all this & that! She couldn’t have got a spot in college period! She paid her way out, in the process throwing Lori Loughlin & her husband under “Huge BUS”. She threw mo ey at the problem & walked away! You should be mad/bitter about.
How long do you think she should go to jail? Waste of a person, who did nothing that thousands of people have done prior to her. It just wasn’t splashed acrossed the pages of manipulation of magazines who made money on someone else’s pain. Tell me without a doubt TRUMP didn’t do the same thing? He just an excellent example of how things work! Lime light, pardoning himself if he’s President again. Down the rabbit hole with the Americans who stormed the White House ~ I’d say it looks like see one play one! He didn’t getting in jail ~ his supporters did! Lori Loughlin was used to make a statement, just for the record, if her daughters didn’t know? Seriously they had never rowed in their life’s.
So that outrageous act, they have had a very cushy lifestyle, because of there parents hard work!

REPORT: Nicholas Chavez Not Returning to General Hospital

For those who were holding out hope that Daytime Emmy winner and fan favorite, Nicholas Chavez would be returning to General Hospital after filming his leading role in Ryan Murphy’s Monsters anthology, it looks like those hopes have been dashed.

According to a report from TV Line, although unconfirmed from General Hospital or a representative for Chavez, the actor will not reprise his role as Spencer Cassadine on the long-running ABC soap opera and continue the love story of Sprina opposite Tabyana Ali (Trina, GH).

Chavez was cast as Lyle Menendez over the the summer of 2023 for the second season of Murphy’s limited Monsters series on Netflix. In the upcoming season, the series will focus on the the case of Lyle and Erik Menendez, the two well-to-do Beverly Hills brothers accused of murdering their parents in 1989.

After word from Chavez casting was revealed, GH fans were concerned over the fate of the Sprina story, a spokesperson for GH shared,  “We support Nicholas’ endeavors and look forward to having him return to General Hospital once this project is wrapped.”

In story, the series “killed off” Spencer when he went overboard with Esme to the steely waters below after being injected with a drug, thanks to Esme and falling into the Seine River in France. However, his body was never recovered, and believed to have drowned or washed away. Thus, leaving an opening for Spencer to return in the form of Chavez or be recast down the line.

TV Line shared that ‘multiple sources’ are confirming that Chavez is not returning to the ABC soap opera, which is what many had suspected might be the case once he left for this major starring role in a Ryan Murphy project. Chavez has been relatively quiet on social media for months.

The Michael Fairman Channel spoke with Nicholas Chavez for a virtual interview when he first joined the show in 2021, and spoke to him right after when he won the Daytime Emmy in 2022 – you can see those below.
