This news just makes me sad. Maybe he will join All My Children – it will give me another reason to switch soaps.

I am not happy about it at all. Does the show not care about the fans who were waiting for Nathan and Melanie to get together? Is it because Jen and Abby are now back on the show that they don’t feel they need this extra Horton?

How sad, why would you drop an actor who draws such an interesting storyline.
We want Nathan and Melanie together. Please reconsider….keep Mark Hapka on.
You’ll lose many fans. He’s been such a plus to the show. I can’t imagine why they are doing this?

Cin fans will be happy to know the other half of the DAYS super couple will be back on-screen later this month as Ben (Rob Scott Weston) and Ciara’s (Victoria Konefal) love story is set to continue.

According to Soap Opera Digest, Look for Konefal to first appear back on-screen during the January 28th episode of the NBC daytime drama series.

When the missing in action Ciara returns she will bring with her a new character named Rhodes played by Jason Downs.

No word on how long Konefal’s stay will be this time, since she has been off-contract with the show since last year.
