Yes I will check it out. “The Stafford Project” was really good. Hopefully this will hold up. It cannot be any worse than NINA CLAY!

Timm–what is going on with that? I go back to watching GH on a regular basis in order to watch Laura’s grand return and suddenly I am being force fed Clay.
I feel like Charlie Brown trick or treating and instead of getting Laura, I get a bag of rocks (NIna).

Thats funny Harry. I would have let Tracy and Luke’s party alone and had a messenger drop Luke a telegram letting him know he needs to leave right away and meet up with her. Its a life and death matter.[ Have Genie start the adventure herself.] Luke could let Tracy down in private and not in front of their guests! In other words, Genie’ first day entrance was horrible! As for Nina, I love Michelle and Roger together but again, the writing is horrible. Why split her and Franco up. They were so juicy together walking on the edge of… Read more »

I’m with you Jake from NJ, I like Michelle Stafford as Nina. I really loved her antics when she first started and was “bound” to that wheelchair, her and Rosalie were great together, it was nice to see them reunited in a scene recently over the ELQ shares. Though, as much as I love Roger, too, sometimes, I find Nina & Franco scenes to be too quirky. I’m glad Nina had scenes with Silas this past week at the Floating Rib, I loved the balance between Silas and Nina, and I think Michelle Stafford and Michael Easton just have an… Read more »

Well Jake, you do make a good point about her trying to find her way after 20 years.

What happened to the “wildly successful” The Stafford Project? I watched a couple of episodes of it. They were “okay” but way too short. I like Stafford very much and am glad to read that she appears to be in demand. However, I find the use of the phrase “wildly successful” to describe her prior web series to be strange and possibly not accurate. If it was so successful, why is she not making more episodes of it instead of this new venture. Also, if so successful, why hasn’t there been any mention of it by her (or this site)… Read more »

She is great as Nina Clay, ans i agree with the comments above about Nina and Silas. They seem to be sparkeling now!! He is so cool-like that it balances out the high energy vibe that Nina sends. I would be curious to see what would a Sonny and Nina fling be like?! Hmm i wonder if they would dare go there…I secretly am hoping that they try Sonny and Hayden when she wakes up.

General Hospital and ‘H.R. Pufnstuf’s’ Billie Hayes Dead at 96

She was one-of-a-kind, and now actress Billie Hayes has passed away at the age of 96.  Hayes’ family announced her death from natural causes on April 29th at Cedar-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles.

Hayes was best-known for her unforgettable role as Witchiepoo on the 1969-70 Saturday morning live-action children’s classic H.R. Pufnstuf from Sid and Marty Kroft.

However, daytime fans will remember that then General Hospital executive producer, Gloria Monty, hired Hayes to play the recurring role of the street-smart international spy, Brighton O’Reilly, back in the 80’s series hey day.

GH’s Tristan Rogers (Robert Scorpio) took to Twitter to mourn the loss of Hayes on Monday sharing; “My dear wonderful Billie Hayes has died. Sadly I only got to work with her on GH but it was a magical relationship. Right away Gloria Monty saw something unique and ran with it. I cannot tell you how her passing saddens me.”

In story, Brighton O’Reilly was shot and killed by Victor Cassadine back in 1981. Billie told Soap Opera Digest back in 2003 about her time as an agent on GH, and her exit from the series: “I asked Gloria why she killed me off, and Gloria said, ‘To tell you the truth, Billie, we really hemmed and hawed at it. But I decided to do it for selfish reasons. I knew if I killed O’Reilly there’d be such an abundance of sympathy and love for Scorpio that his stock would go up. And he’s my new leading man!’ I understand why Gloria knocked me off, but I would have loved to have gone on with it because I feel it could have been developed into a fascinating character.”

Sid and Marty Kroft also took to Twitter and expressed:  “Margaret Hamilton (Wizard of Oz) once told us that Billie Hayes was “one of the best witches ever” We couldn’t agree more. Rest in Peace dear friend.”

Billie’s career spanned decades including Broadway, television, motion pictures and voice-over work. In addition, she founded the Los Angeles-based animal rescue nonprofit organization Pet Hope, a cause she had championed since adopting a puppy abandoned in the basement of Broadway’s St. James Theatre during the run of Lil’ Abner in which she was featured in the role of Mammy Yokum.
