General Hospital - What To Watch For
Soap Opera Halloween Promos: Bumps In the Night And Costumes A-Plenty
This week your favorite daytime dramas get in the spirit of Halloween – with costume parties, and danger lurking which is in many forms for several key characters.
The Young and the Restless, The Bold and the Beautiful, General Hospital and Days of our Lives all apparently have some bumps in the night, some scares for ‘Fright Night’, and some fun in store for viewers. Three of the series marked Halloween with related promos. DAYS focused on the upcoming Elani wedding and Gabi controlling Julie’s pacemaker. Check out these promos below.
So, which soap do you think will do Halloween best? Comment below.
obviously GH duhh..
Ron C. Has reached new levels of stupidity. Lets examine the Lani Gabi scenario. Has Gabi forgotten that Lani is a Cop? More importantly…has Lani forgotten that she is a cop?? We all saw Gabi, in the middle of a crowded hospital…..with SURVEILLANCE….admit to Lani…a COP…that she had in her hand a device that she could use to kill Julie. She then walked over, demonstrated how she was willing and able to kill Julie by revving up her heart. Gabi then blackmailed Lani…a COP…into dumping her fiance at the altar. Right there, Lani…a COP…had legal grounds to wrestle Gabi to the ground, grab that cell phone away from her, call for back up, holler that an attempted murder was taking place…and arrest psychotic Gabi! Right there ..she could have arrested her for…..blackmail, uttering threats, attempted murder, possession of a deadly weapon, a d a few other crines. Lets replace Gabi’s cell phone with a gun! If Gabi had a gun…and walked over and threatened to shoot Julie, would Lani have arrested her? Of course she would have! So what is tbe difference??? Gabi is a vulgar frickin nut case, and Lani had grou ds to arrest ber kn the spot!!! It’s getting very tiresome to watch a show with psychos like Kristen, Gina, Eve, Jordan, Gabi, Xander, and others running around. And is it 1957??? Why cant Sarah tell Eric she is pregnant??? Plot driven, moronic, manufactured drama is all this is! Ron gutted GH and left that show with its lowest ratings EVER!!
Well, Saints preserve us, if it’s getting that tiresome to watch, then by all means stop watching and get some rest. Many of us are thoroughly enjoying the continued renaissance of Days.
thank the soap gods Ron C is no longer at GH, I feel so sorry for DOOL, it will continue to get worse. I don’t mean to knock the guy but as a writer he has more bad vises then good ones and no disrespect if your a fan of his writing I’m just not able to keep up w/ his level of stupidity and cartoonish style of writing.
.
Colin
OMG , I think the same, every time I watch Gabi pulling her crap with Lani. I’m also yelling at the TV at Lani to grab the phone and cuff Gabi. This has got to be the stupidest thing they have tried to make us swallow, and don’t even get me started on the crazy Jordan, supposedly running around with a one year old in a little basket that would be for a much younger baby. Rafe is another disappointment, all looks and no action! I’ve about had it with this show. Satan nailed it by saying the new jump coming up will be a big fail. It can only get worse from now on. So to the others who are ” thoroughly enjoying” this garbage, have at it!
Will do, thanks!
Storylines are getting worse. Half the characters have been brought back to life by Dr. Rolf!
Dumb, dumb, dumb—especially Days!! GH not too bad. Who is Le gentilhomme masque’? Laura didn’t recognize her son’s eyes? Is it Nikolas?
Frankly, both Days AND General Hospital have shitty writing at the moment. It’s a coin flip as to whether Jordan Ridgeway or Drodd is the dumbest character.
As for the immediate future… I’m sure ReRon’s time jump will be an epic failure. Meanwhile on GH, Valentini seems determined to throw another inferior attempt at “Nikolas Cassadine” in our faces. Either get Tyler Christopher back on board or don’t bother.
I thought we might have a new boy toy for Ava, as the new Nicolas looks so young in his photo, but he is 41 yrs.old, ha. I was hoping for Tyler.
Dumbest character: Peter the Puke
a.k.a. Whiny Heiny. Yeah, he’s also a huge waste of time, but I suspect he’s going to be leaving Port Charles by the time 2019 is over. Of course it will probably be in a body bag, which means he will still be MY problem. He can clean the dragon stables with his pal Shiloh.
I hope so, he helps ruins the show. Total wimp.
General Hospital
GENERAL HOSPITAL Preview: As Dante and Elizabeth Grow Closer, the Green-Eyed Monster Has Gotten Hold of Ric

This week on all-new episodes of General Hospital, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) are getting closer, much to Ric’s (Rick Hearst) chagrin and he make a plan to take action to stop it, while a new dangerous alliance begins to take shape while bitter enemies have a meet-up, of sorts.
In the GH video teaser for August 17-21, while Dante and Elizabeth are enjoying some time together, a jealous Ric warns Lulu (Alexa Havins),”There is a growing connection between the two of them. And if we don’t break it, you and I are going to lose the loves of our lives.”
Could this be the character turn of Ric Lansing, where before his green-eyed monster has wreaked havoc on the life of others? Will Lulu agree to conspire with him to keep Dante and Elizaheth apart …. or want nothing to do with his plan? Stay tuned.
Elsewhere, Drew (Cameron Mathison) is determined to destroy Sonny (Maurice Benard) by any means possible. He hopes teaming with Ms. Ava Jerome (Maura West) is the ticket to make it happen. “Together, we can take Sonny down,” says Drew to Ava over drinks. Is GH heading for a Ava and Drew pairing, next?
Then, as previously reported, Carlo Rota is back as Jenz Sidwell after the character was sentenced to Pentonville for 31 years for his crimes. Sidwell’s first visitor seems to be Sonny Corinthos, who has made it known to others in Port Charles, he wants to take over Sidwell’s business assets.
“It was only a matter of time before you showed up,” Sidwell snarls, as we see the prisoner meet his arch nemesis in the visitor’s section of the prison. Sonny sees Sidwell and snipes, “Beige is not your color.” What is Sonny hoping to gain from a conversation with the nefarious criminal who tried to destroy his life and those who he loved?

This week on all-new episodes of General Hospital, the action picks right back up with Michael (Rory Gibson) questioning Jacinda (Paige Herschell) on what exactly she did to exact revenge on her after Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) got a restraining order against her.
In the newly-released video teaser promo for the ABC soap opera, Michael is with Jacinda and is astonished when he says, “You drugged the mother of my children?” Jacinda realizes she made an irreversible mistake in her relationship with Michael, which may now be kaput.
Meanwhile, in what appears to be the aftermath of her drinking the laced coffee, Willow wakes up from her couch, somewhat disheveled, and is seen asking Nina (Cynthia Watros), “What happened?” Later, Michael and Willow come face to face after the incident with Nina’s voiceover as a precursor to the action, saying, “Willow’s war with Michael is escalating.”
