She deserves so much more than a run of the mill plane went down but the body is never found type of scenario. I think she should realize that she’s done all she feels she can do in LA, and strike out across the country, using her money and knowledge to help the homeless.

She can’t make up her mind what she wants to do. I’ve heard this before. I’ll believe it when I see it.

I only skim recaps of B&B especially w/ these exits. It’s great that they axed Frantz and that Moss is exiting bec he’s horrid. I don’t care abt anyone leaving B&B bec it’s a dumb soap. Maybe Flannery got annoyed that everything is abt Steffy and Liam and Hope. That’s probably a factor w/ Moss’s exit. The ego of Ronn must have been hurt when Ridge was pushed to the sidelines for Liam. I don’t care abt Stephanie but hopefully they violently kill her. They should violently kill Donna and especially Amber and especially Pam and especially Liam and especially Ridge and especially Katie while they’re at it.

bc…really? Your personal life must be really horrid that you have so much time to bitch.

Stephanie will sorely be missed. I hope you give her a send-off fit for the queen that she is. Maybe since they never officially killed off Sally Spectra, that could fit into Stephanie’s departure somehow.

wow so much drama is she staying or leaving. finally we got the answer tonight. i am going to miss susan flannery as stephanie. honestly they should recast the role for a really really good actress. my suggestions are number 1 erika slezak, 2. marj dusay. 3 linda dano. but my number 1 choice would be erika slezak ex viki one life to live. please producers listen to me and recast stephanie.

Maybe Stephanie will die from her cancer, and that’s how she will make her exit from the show! 🙁

I think this will be the best exit for her. She is not one who would abandon her family and go off and dissapear. Her cough was an indication that her cancer has returned and she will be terminal.

She has not had any good storylines in some time now. It is all about Stephi, Liam and Hope. This storyline is getting so tiring, that I don’t even watch it anymore. This is showing girls around the world that they should be doormats to men who can’t make up their mind. Women who accept crumbs from men.

I hope they end her story much like they did when Darlene Conley (Sally Spectra) died and just have Stephanie going around the world enjoying life with Sally Spectra.

Susan Flannery thank you for entertaining us for all these years .
Its been a delight watching you perform as #StephanieForester
We loyal fans will miss you .. ** TEARS *
I know we never met but it feels like losing a close dear friend.
We respect your decision .
I am honored to host
#StephanieForesterNight dedicated to U and your many fans
next week via Twitter / Fb.
@partywill Twitter

I write FanFics , so in some way your character never fades..
Their is an engagement this fall in my FF
that has Stephanie front burner as she protects her
grandaughter Steffy .

My exit for Stephanie ..

As the days in L.A. grow chillier by the minute as holidays quickly die down ,
The Foresters gather around to celebrate their festive season.
The family is greeted by a mysterious man from Stephanie’s past.
They immediately get upset as Stephanie urges everybody to
excuse her as she attends to a private matter.

The family and guests are left to ponder queshtions

Meanwhile ..
The mysterious stranger alerts Stephanie her days are numbered.
” How long do I have ?” asks Stephanie bracing herself for
the worst .
” Less than a week tops .. your life and those you hold dear
to your heart ..are in danger unless you vanish like we discussed many years
ago that if the situation presented itself , we would protect you even at the cost of you
never seeing your family again.

Stephanie sighs ..
” I have survived many obstacles in my life ..
Brooke Logan and the Logan Legacy ..
Sheila Carter the nanny from hell..
The countless fashion wars between
Sally Spectra and myself ..
The heartwrenching death of our beloved
Phoebe ..
The loss of my mother..
The awful cancer ..
But even I know when I must accept my blessings and
remain protective of my family !
** tears slowly streak Stephanie’s face **
I vow by next week..
The world will only ponder the existence of
Stephanie Forrester ! ”

The mystery man knods ..
” So it is said , so must it be done ..
For the sake of your children , husband , enemies ,
even grandchildren we will stage your elaborate death so that the man
who once tried to kill you when you were very young in your teens and testified against
will no longer be able to hurt you nomore ! ”

The man exits ..
Everybody asks..
” Stephanie .. who was that guy ?! ”
Stephanie smiles..
” My guardian angel ”

Snowflakes fall …

I love that!

I wish her the best as private person! But for her so allknown great role for over 25 years it is a big kick in the face, for me as longtimeviewer and longtime Susan-Fan,too, i can not believe, that STEPHANIE ” LA FORRESTER” is portrayed now as BFF with her biggest enemy she ever had, BROOKE! The last years i was begging and hopping that we get back LA GRAND DAME who gaves it hard to the familywhore, but this soap becomes a farce and LOganshow more and more. i doubt, when SF leaves and BELL is StILL not giving fanbases a more homogen show, not this unbalanced LOganwinnershow. Many fans will left i bet: all the NO-LOgan-fans are sick and tired! you should read more on www, bell! So, go, Susan and enjoy yours life, while for me only leaves to say: 25 years and in the end the fight against LA HO was wasted time….

It would be the most realistic and poignant story if she dies from lung cancer. Let her go out fighting the good fight, but ultimately the message is that cancer is a killer and all the money in the world cannot save you when the time is up. Before she goes, Stephanie can prepare her family, arrange for the philanthropies she wants to receive her fortune and then die with dignity…but the victim of a cruel disease.

This is the end for me. First Ronn, now Susan, after putting up with KKL and all the Logan’s for years, this is it! Brad has disrespected Hunter Tylo and her on screen family, put Thorne in the basement for life and got RJ in the closet, is just a little too much.

Awful news. I wish she could stay and just make occasional appearances. Not actually leave!!!! I don’t want Steph killed. Maybe she can join Sally on trips around the world.

Have her join Sally on an around-the-world-humanitarian-tour.

I can’t imagine B&B without Stephanie. She is truly the heart (albeit misguided at times) of the show. I sincerely hope that her final storyline is something worthy of the character.

One of the most talented broads out there. I know she loves B&B and this is probably a personal decision rather than a professional or financial one. Boy oh boy has she earned her retirement.

No matter how they write her out (hoping it isn’t death, though wouldn’t be surprised if it is and it’s related to her cancer) I know she’ll always come back for a cameo here and there like Jerry Douglas on Y&R.

She has set the standard for professionalism and for talent in this industry. Though we are fortunate to have several exceptional actresses, there has never been and will never be another like her.

And before this starts to sound like a eulogy (G-d forbid!), I’ll just say thanks to Ms Flannery for her hard work, loyalty and leadership for nearly 40 years in this wonderful industry.

Nearly 40 years? Susan started on Days over FORTY years ago. She was the beautiful Laura Horton (Jennifer’s mom) on Days Of Our Lives.

She started on DAYS in 1966 and left in 1975 – 9 years.
She’s been on B&B since 1987 – 25 years.
That’s a total of 36 years.
37 if you count 1 year on Dallas.

So yes, NEARLY 40 years. I did the math, thanks.

Brad bell will kill stephanie off but she will come back as a ghost every three months. On her last show she will look into the camera and say “I will be back soon”.

Maybe she will have a stroke again and live with the Homeless (again)

Please end ur rolde as missing..that way it is left open for her return ..We need stephani … please get her to stay……… wont be the same…without her..

Who can blame her, the show is unrecognizeable and they have backburnered just about everyone for the relentlessly awful Hope/Liam/steffy saga.

This show has maybe two years left before its cancelled if they keep this up.

This show is so becoming a sinking ship. Losing Ronn Moss and now Susan Flannery… I wouldn’t be surprised if CBS pulled the plug tomorrow.

If this is the end of Stephanie Forrester, then thank you Susan Flannery for being the foundation of THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL. You had some kick-butt storylines and you always made even the sorriest plot points sparkle some by your talent and presence.

I am not sure what I want to happen to Stephanie Forrester — I wish Miss Flannery much post-sopa success — but have to wonder if her passing is indeed the best way to go. If she dies, will Ridge not be present? That would not be right.

I pray we will be allowed a respite from the inane Liam-Hope-Steffy triangle for a good part of fall to enjoy an emotional sendoff and marvel the last time at Miss Flannery’s work.

Maybe the departures of Ronn Moss and Miss Flannery in some strange way will energize and renew B&B to the sharp soap I enjoyed fully in its early years and still see glimpses of today.

I think their should be a murder/suicide.

Momma Forrester… buries, both Brooke and Taylor… and queen mum in the middle…

All three wearing Queen Mums Infamous “pants” suits.

LOL.

Michael, thank you for providing a forum for people to discuss their favorite/least favorite characters and storylines. It amazes me that people spend so much time watching their favorite soaps and then spend more time trashing them. At a time when soaps need all of the positive feedback they can get, I wish soap fans would realize that writing negativity is doing nothing to help these shows survive. Obviously, some people should remember the old saying “If you don’t have something nice to say than don’t say anything at all. I do not watch “B&B,” but when two major characters depart that are such a part of the legacy of the show, it will be felt for a long time to come. I am not sure “DOOL” has been able to regain the same magic with John and Marlena. In my opinion, soap fans need to keep it more positive because I am sure “All My Children,” “One Life To Live,” “As the World Turns” and “Guiding Light” fans would still love the have the opportunity to see their favorites every day.

A nuStephanie and a nuRidge at the same time would not be a good combination. I think we’ll see a new face as Ridge first and maybe after he gets settled they’ll bring Stephanie back with a new actress. Would love to see Erika Slezak!

They’d NEVER recast Stephanie, that’s like recasting Victor Newman or recasting other icons. It’s something that would never ever happen in the world.

Bump her ass off. Let her be the one to send Ridge away because of some terrible lie she told him and let Brooke discover the truth about what it was and then have Brooke in a fit of rage accidentally shoot her and bump her off.

Then let Brooke get off of a murder charge by claiming temporary insanity.

If Susan Flannery is deciding, to leave I would think at that point. That maybe she will be on the hospital again, and will loose her battle of cancer. With loved ones around her, cause she’s a huge part of this show, of made this show. That’s why she needs to be, with loved ones, when she dies. Then that will bring Ridge back. For sure but not as a recast. And returns as a ghost, for someone who can see her. That would be interesting to watch. Probably Brooke. Their relationship which grew with the, show and made the stories, that they are now. Or she could loose her battle, with the people that made the show. Brooke and Eric, and Ridge. Right beside her.

I do not usually follow such blogs, but saught this out as I have enjoyed Susan’s acting for many years and wantd to say she will be sorely missed and I hope they use her exodus as a time of reflection and give her a graceful exit that befits such a classu lady.

Susan you will be dearly missed. When I saw you in the Towering Inferno and on the B & B I admired you.

‘General Hospital’s’ Dominic Zamprogna Shares He Was ‘Happy to Hear’ of The Triangle Storyline Developing Between Dante/Elizabeth/Ric

Published

Dominic Zamprogna

General Hospital’s Dominic Zamprogna (Dante Falconeri) opened up about the burgeoning love triangle forming between his Port Charles alter-go, Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) and Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) after recently aired scenes, plus his hopes for the future of a Dante and Liz pairing, during his appearance on the Sunday, April 23 edition of the That’s Awesome podcast with Steve Burton (Jason Morgan) and Bradford Anderson (Spinelli).

On last week’s episodes of GH, Ric has made the decision that he wanted to propose to his ex-wife, only when he showed up at Elizabeth’s front door, he misread the scenario he walked in with Liz tending to Dante’s injured leg from the softball game. From there, the legal eagle’s jealous streak is reemerging which may cause him to act out and do something unforgivable, or will he take the high road? Stay tuned.

Speaking with Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson about where Elizabeth stands in the annals of the long-running soap, Zamprogna said, “She’s up there with Steve and Maurice (Maurice Benard) as one of the most legacy-filled people on the show.”

HOW DANTE AND ELIZABETH CAME ABOUT

Dominic jokes it’s a far cry for where Dante and Elizabeth previously, recalling, “We had some scenes together years ago and we were both laughing. Becky’s like, ‘Well, I guess we’re not going be paired up anytime soon.’ I remember we laughed immediately after they yelled ‘cut,”‘and said to each other, ‘Well, so much for that!'”

Fast-forward to early 2025 and as Zamprogna remembered it, “Elizabeth Korte (co-head writer, GH) came up to me at the General Hospital Christmas party, and I think it was a year and a half ago and she said, ‘We’re going to have you in scenes with Elizabeth,’ My internal monologue is going, ‘I’m not with Lulu (Alexa Havins) anymore and Sam’s (Kelly Monaco) gone, so maybe they want to see if this works.’ I didn’t want to get scenes with Becky and try to find the chemistry. I just wanted to play whatever honestly was written and came across for both of us and hope it was what people liked, and I don’t know if it is … or not.”

Knowing how beloved Elizabeth is to the GH faithfuls, Zamprogna added, “She got a big fan base with Ric … and a big fan base with with Jason … and you know, you’re going to piss somebody off. But, didn’t Ric drug Elizabeth and put Carly in a panic room?”

DANTE AND ELIZABETH PAIRING COULD STIR UP STORY FOR OTHERS IN PORT CHARLES

In closing, Dominic felt that the wide-reaching tentacles of a Dante and Elizabeth relationship is something he is 100% down for. “The triangle thing; I was happy to hear it was with Ric and her, because I felt it’s important to have her the top of it as opposed to Dante, Lulu and Elizabeth.”

Zamprogna added, “When you get into relationships on a soap, things seem to fizzle out a little bit, The buildup is what’s the fun part, and the getting to know each other, and the people who are affected by this coming together. When with this case it’s going to affect: Ric, Sonny, Lulu. There’s so much more story here. To me, it’s going to be a fun story to play.”

You can check out Dominic’s visit to That’s Awesome with Steve and Bradford below.

Now weigh-in: Are you rooting for Dante and Liz, or Dante and Ric at this juncture of the story, or neither guy  for Elizabeth? Let us know your thoughts and picks via the comment section.

GH and OLTL Alum Patrick J. Gibbons Reveals the Story Behind Writing Trina’s Song on ‘General Hospital’ (Exclusive)

Published

By

Patrick J. Gibbons

At the conclusion of today’s August 21 episode of General Hospital, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) sings a lullaby to baby Dez, that went into a montage to close out the episode as her father Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) reports to Pentonville and winds up in his jail cell.

However, in a fun fact, the song entitled, “A Lonely Heart To Give” was actually written by none other than former One Life to Live and General Hospital actor, Patrick J. Gibbons.

Daytime fans first met Gibbons as Sam Manning on One Life to Live. At the time, when he started on the soap, he was just 5-years-old. Gibbons played the part from 2010-2013 on ABC and Prospect Park’s editions of the show. Fast-forward to 2018, Gibbons shows up on General Hospital as Wyatt Hoover, the scout who seemed always be injured, but in the thick of the drama. Patrick had appeared on GH multiple times as Wyatt including: 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023.

FROM HIS GRANDMOTHER’S DEATH CAME THE INSPIRATION FOR HIS SONG

Now in 2026, General Hospital fans are getting to learn about another side of Gibbons’ talent as a songwriter and guitar player after “A Lonely Heart to Give” debuted today! Michael Fairman TV caught up with Patrick, who is now a senior at Penn State entering his final year as a finance major, to get the back-story of how his song wound up on GH!

Gibbons explained he wrote the song in honor of his grandmother who passed away a few years ago with whom he was, very, very close with. “Randomly, my grandmother had a downfall and passed away during the second semester of my sophomore year. I was in my dorm a lot and I was just playing with my guitar. And at the time, I was really into finger-style playing. I wrote the lyric and music to it (with a little help from my guitar teacher Lou), and my mom showed the rough demo to Frank Valentini (EP, General Hospital). He’s like an uncle to me. Frank loved it so much he said, “Finish that up. I want to hear the whole thing, and I want it on the show.”

MAKING MUSIC FOR GENERAL HOSPITAL

Gibbons and his parents took the next steps! “So now, all we needed was a female voice, because I thought that would fit the song well,” Patrick shared. “At the golf club we go to my parents were at a dinner. They liked the singer that was performing and spoke to her about the song, and she says she would like to bring it to her ‘boss’ who ended up being Eric Bazilian of the Hooters fame!” (Bazilian also wrote the smash hit song “One of Us” for Joan Osborne).

Next, “We went in the studio and recorded it and the song came together and it was beautiful. We loved it. They loved it at General Hospital and now they’re putting it the show and they are coming in with a piano, instead of a guitar. Paul Glass, the GH musical director, has been keeping us updated over the last six months of how it was coming along, and when it would air, and how GH put their own arrangement to it. I can’t wait to see and hear what they did with it.”

PATRICK’S ONE LIFE TO LIVE FAMILY

Everyone knows that the One Life to Live extended family share a very tight bond, and Patrick said he does stay in touch with a few of his former One Life to Live co-stars, especially those from the Manning family! “I stayed in touch with Kassie DePaiva (ex-Blair) and sent her little videos here and there. She was like my second mom for five years. We keep in contact with Kristen Alderson (ex-Starr) over X the most, and she can’t believe how big I’ve gotten. Like, none of them can! (laughs). I also loved working with Roger Howarth (ex-Todd) and Trevor St. John (ex-Todd and Victor Jr.), and to me since I was so young, they were just my friends, ‘Roger and Trevor,’ not Todd Manning or Victor Jr.”

It was a trip to California and a visit to Port Charles that ultimately led to Gibbons second soap role of Wyatt Hoover. Patrick explains, “In 2016, Frank Valentini invited us out to Los Angeles to visit the set of General Hospital. I think he heard me say, ‘This is so much fun. I miss being on the set.’ He goes, ‘You should come out. I’ll bring you on the show. We can make you a character.'”

A few years later, Patrick’s dream became a reality! “Then, by the summer of 2018, I was playing Wyatt, the scout, and shared scenes with Wes Ramsey (Peter August), and the best was when I shared a scene with Roger Howarth and Michael Easton (ex-John, OLTL and ex-Silas, Finn et al, GH), it was like chemistry from the old days.”

IT’S ALL IN THE NUMBERS

As to his future aspirations, it’s a career in the finance game that has piqued Gibbons’ real-life interest. But never say never to a return to acting. Patrick explained, “I’ve always enjoyed numbers. And on top of that, one of the biggest parts of finance is being personable and outgoing.”

He continued, “That’s one of the greatest skills I developed growing up. I really love the markets. I’m super interested. I’m never going to close the door to acting. I’m always open to that because I just love it so much. It’s such a great art.”

Take note! If there are any investment bankers or private equity folks among the GH faithful looking for a young analyst next year, Patrick’s DMs are open. You can find him on X at @PatrickJGibbons.

So, what did you think of the song sung by Trina on today’s GH that was written by Patrick J. Gibbons? Did you enjoy Patrick’s performances as One Life’s Sam and GH’s Wyatt? Would you like to see him back on GH at some point? Let us know via the comment section.
