Fantastic news for EastSiders creator and star, Kit Williamson! Logo TV online has acquired the rights to his web series which co-stars As the World Turns favorite, Van Hansis!

As viewers have seen in first two episodes of the web series, EastSiders tells the story of a gay couple in Silver Lake, California who try to cope with the aftermath of infidelity, that turns out to be more than just a casual one night stand! When we last left Thom (Hansis) and Cal (Williamson) things were not so peachy keen between them!

But things look very bright for the series and Williamson, who received funding to film seven more new episodes to complete his vision for season one through a smash hit Kickstarter campaign!  In addition, on April 23, the first three episodes will have it’s premiere on EastSiders new online home LogoTV.com at 4 p.m. EST.

Charles Runnette, Editorial Director of Logo Digital for LogoTV.com is very excited to have acquired the rights to EastSiders telling Huffington Post:  “We’re thrilled to have this series coming to LogoTV.com. Kit’s sensibility fits perfectly with the direction Logo is forging online, and we all feel very confident that his EastSiders series will be a great success on our constellation of sites.”

This is exciting news! The EastSiders team has worked so hard to make a fantastic high quality show. It’s great that’s being recognized and more people will be exposed to it. Van, Kit, John, Constance, and Matt are all such brilliant actors. I think people who haven’t seen the show are going to fall in love with it!
