I can’t stand any of Sonny’s children, except Avery. Morgan was the WORST.

HUH? WUH?

I have hated the glorification of this character for over 20 years. Now that Shelly has retired, and Gh now has two male headwriters, we are already seeing signs that the Pratt Guza mentality of Sonny worship is back! I hate it! First of all…Michael is NOT Sonny’s child. Hanging a biological father on a meathook until he signs over custody does NOT make one a father!!! Also, will it EVER be revealed that Avery is really Morgan’s child? Carly was lurking around th paternity test and the computer…and she even had the envelope in her hands. She knew Morgan was young and manic. And she did not want Ava to get her hooks into Morgan. So, she changed the results! I cant wait for the day when that plays out! Seeing Ava triumphantly walk in and take Avery away from her sanctimonious grandparents will be worth the wait!!

❤ Sonny Corinthos and his children no matter who they fathers in Mama’s are they will always be Corinthos. Obviously the writers are doing a great job for you to write this whole page of your hate for Sonny Corinthos character portrayal he’s an outstanding actor and obviously doing a good job keep the haterism coming keeps him a paycheck thank you so much I love General Hospital

Someone on the marketing team who came up with this endeavour is SO getting fired!!

Of all the epic greatness GH has produced (Luke and Laura, the Quartermaines, Robin and Stone, BJ giving her heart to Maxie etc etc etc)….this is what they are peddling?????

Even these reruns beat the unholy shit out of anything involving Frodd, Drodd, Ava, or either of the Ninas.

Or, how about “Hi Felicia” to celebrate Wagner’s 35th anniversary with the show.

Why? GH barely even acknowledges the magnificent Port Charles years of her ex-husband, the great, iconic ‘80’s legacy character, Frisco Jones…unless, of course, it’s to bash him (and by extension, his portrayer, Jack Wagner!) Without the “both” of them, neither Felicia—nor Mrs, Wagner—would have ever existed on GH. That’s not a criticism….just an indisputable fact! I believe in giving credit where credit is due….

I’d rather do the laundry.

It’s nausesting. I can’t stand any of his kids.

I’m with you,so over Sonny & his family of more, more & more! Yuck! Theirs so many ther talented actors on the show I’d much rather watch what about the men in Laura’s life & how she’s finally found true happiness with Kevin. Great storylines with Kin Shriner (Scott),Tony Geary the early years with Luke, the fabulously sexy Stefan Cassadine affair & backstory I truly loved Laura & Stefan together. Genie has chemistry with everyone of these fabulous men,Stephen Nichols had that special connection with Genie that the fans went crazy for their love story I totally loved it & wanted Laura to end choose Stefan he was far better a choice for her then Luke I didn’t like how he changed & L&L were pretty much done after that & now f course the wonderful & adorable relationship Laura & Kevin have (swoon) Jon*Genie sparkle together whenever their in a scene together. How about her affair with David Hamilton would love to see scenes from that time & her very young love affair with Scotty. I definitely buy anything like that Genie’s had such a huge iconic & super fantastic career while working with some of the best of the best on #GH

Tori I so agree about Stefan and Laura!

Steve…me, too…lol.

Does the last installment feature an end tag “To Be Continued?” Just had to ask given Sonny’s prodigious propensity for procreation….

I see how Maurice is starting to let the gray bleed through his hair gel. Maybe he just goes gray like Victor Newman? Nothing worse than guys coloring their hair when it becomes impossible to do. Well, maybe bad toupees are worse!

@Timmm…Even on younger dark-haired guys, too much greasy styling product makes it look as though their coiffure had been coated in black shoe polish…so not attractive! They need to remember, “A little dab will do ya!” Lol…As for a bit of gray, it’s both realistic and distinguished on the 50+aged male…glad Maurice realizes this and goes with the flow!

How nice that you are doing this for us fans! I used to love the soap net marathons featuring a couple! I still wish you’d make early general hospital available by the decades ! An all gh cable channel !

GH’s Adam J. Harrington Reveals the Behind the Scenes Story of Becoming John “Jagger” Cates

When Adam J. Harrington showed up on all-new episodes of General Hospital, it shocked viewers of the long-running ABC soap opera, because he was the recast John “Jagger” Cates.

The character was previously played more than 30 years ago by Antonio Sabato Jr., and as fans of the soap have seen, Harrington’s version of Jagger and his circumstances are quite different. As it turns out, Adam was in the dark at what GH role he would be eventually cast in.

Speaking with GH co-stars, Steve Burton (Jason) and Bradford Anderson (Spinelli) on their Daily Drama podcast, Harrington shared the behind the scenes journey that led him to being the new version of John.

Photo: ABC

Adam shared, “I went into a chemistry read with Laura Wright (Carly) for a different character. I was told I wasn’t going to get the character, but hang tight, there’s something else. Then, that kind of took a couple of months and now we’re in December (2023), and then all of a sudden it was like, ‘here you go.'”

Once Adam was given a role on GH, he explained, “I still didn’t know who I was playing. I should have asked at that point. So the deal gets done, and I go, ‘By the way, who am I playing?'”

Photo: ABC

That’s the point where the GH powers-that-be let him in on just what he was about to take on. “They sent me a one sheet with John “Jagger” Kates in the description,” shared Adam. “It wasn’t until I went on YouTube and spent a good three or four days, watching all of Steve (Burton’s) storylines in the nineties (that I figured it out). By the way, they were fantastic. The production value … it was amazing the level of the acting, and the relationships you guys had. I really enjoyed it. So, that’s how I found out (about the character).”

Burton and Anderson asked Harrington about his thoughts on being a recast. “I thought it was important to go back to his circumstances and his upbringing, because that wouldn’t change no matter what he had become in the 20 or 30 or 70 years since we’ve seen him,” Adam shared. “I looked at what Antonio Sabato Jr. did and thought, ‘There was no way in hell I can even touch that or even come close, nor do I want to.’ The only thing I recognized was given his upbringing and what he’d gone through, it was a common sense of humor in there that’s either used defensively or as a way of getting through the world.”

As to how Adam should approach the part given it was a recast, he noted, “What I had been told from the brass is don’t worry about following that same emotional storyline. He’s gone away for a very, very, very long time, become successful and he’s come back. Basically, they were saying, you bring in you.”

Being part of the fabric of GH for awhile now, Harrington expressed, “I will say this about my experience so far. I am in absolute awe of the cast and the crew and watching how you do this on a train that refuses to stop. I said to a friend, ‘I’m on a train that’s going a hundred miles an hour, and they slow down to about 90 to kick you off after your scene is done.'”

So, what are your thoughts on Adam as John “Jagger” Cates after now seeing how the role has evolved and changed since its original version over 30 years ago? Comment below.
