Watch out Eric, that crazy host will try and mount you like she did to Steve Burton when he appeared on that god awful show!

LOL! She did!

Oh, Timmm, that woman’s behavior is so embarrassing. It’s like when that teenage girl recently grabbed singer Harry Styles in the crotch while he was onstage. How is this not a form of assault? And poor Mr. Braeden barely had a full segment because of an upcoming pizza segment? Such respect!

I’m surprised Eric would even be on that show! Why dont the late night guys invite him on their shows? He is a legend!

He is a legend in daytime and his character Victor is one of the most iconic in daytime history. Wouldn’t miss it for the world. Congratulations on 40 years and impacting so many peoples lives. I just read the Soap Opera Digest article where all his co-workers had nothing but glowing praises about the man as a person and a co-worker.

Angela, I also read that Mr. Braeden was a big factor in the returns of Greg Rikaart and Elizabeth Hendrickson as Kevin and Chloe. Apparently Eric is better at determining where the show’s strengths are and who the next generation’s leaders. It sure ain’t Theo, Tessa, Tanner, or any of Amanda’s boyfriends past or present.

I am disturbed by his recent tweet, and am not sure how I feel about him anymore. Why does he feel it necessary to chime in to political discussions? It alienates half of the population.

Helen please have several seats.

You will be a happier person if you do not follow actors on twitter !! Enjoy them entertaining you and let it go!

I totally agree. I am not going to check Twitter again, for any reason.

I’ll take freedom of speech for $2,000, Alex.

“Daytime television invites viewers into the private lives of characters, often bringing important issues like cancer screenings into living rooms and around water coolers. Soaps debuted the first cancer storyline in 1962 – years before the topic was discussed in the mainstream, and it left an indelible impact: a whole generation of women who scheduled a potentially life-saving Pap smear for the first time,” said Daytime Stands Up host Alan Locher. “For so many viewers, this brought the issue front and center,” added co-host Michael Fairman. “Today, it’s become almost impossible to avoid; but there is hope with cancer research, thanks to organizations like Stand Up To Cancer.”

SU2C Co-Founder Sue Schwartz, SU2C President and CEO Julian Adams, Ph.D., and SU2C Health Equity Committee Member Elizabeth Jaffee, M.D., will also participate to speak to the importance of early detection, exciting scientific breakthroughs, and the ongoing work yet to be done to make screenings and treatment equitable for all.

“This year, an estimated 2 million people in the U.S. will be diagnosed with cancer, presenting an opportunity for the public to stand with us and rise to the occasion,” said Adams. “We’re thankful to Alan Locher, Michael Fairman and our friends from the daytime television community, who will raise critical funding to honor those we’ve lost – and to propel new scientific breakthroughs for current and future patients. Everyone has a story, and we’re grateful to all of you for sharing yours.”

For over 15 years, SU2C has leveraged its relationship with the entertainment community – which includes more than 1,100 celebrity ambassadors – to generate public donations, increase awareness and fund cutting-edge cancer research. SU2C research has contributed to the development of more than 10 scientific breakthroughs that have significantly impacted the field and provided new treatment options for breast, colorectal, lung, melanoma, pancreatic, pediatric and prostate cancers.

Lane Davies Joins the Cast of General Hospital Setting up a ‘Santa Barbara’ Reunion with Nancy Lee Grahn

Some very intriguing casting news out of General Hospital. The ABC daytime drama has cast former Santa Barbara favorite, Lane Davies (ex-Mason Capwell), in the role of Fergus Byrne, an attorney who crosses paths with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn).

According to TV Insider, Davies will make debut the week of May 22nd.  As soap fans know, together with the aforementioned Grahn, they created the Santa Barbara supercouple of Mason and Julia Wainwright. Davies portrayed Mason Capwell family from 1984 through 1989.

Interestingly enough, this isn’t the first time in Port Charles for Lane. From 2002-2004 he played Dr. Cameron Lewis and also shared on-screen story with Grahn.  At that time Davies, played Xander Smith’s father.

GH fans are wondering about the last name of Davies new character, “Byrne”. If you recall, Alexis got herself involved with therapist Dr. Neil Byrne, who died when Harmony broke into Alexis‘ house and killed Neil by injecting him with opioids.

Taking to her Instagram, Grahn shared her excitement at the upcoming on-screen reunion with Davies, “It never gets old. We do 😂…. but it doesn’t 😍. Lookin’ forward to another romp.”

So, what do you think about Lane Davies returning to GH to play an attorney in Alexis’ orbit? Share your thoughts via the comment section below.
