THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL: Hope Takes Off Her Wedding Ring and Hits the Sheets with Thomas

Courtesy/CBS

After all her lusty thoughts of Thomas (Matthew Atkinson), Hope (Annika Noelle) took action on Monday’s episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, and for sure, has blown her marriage to Liam (Scott Clifton) sky-high.

In the key scenes, and alone with Thomas, Hope shares that her marriage to Liam is over, because he was not willing to make the sacrifices she was willing to make – alluding to forgiveness and the whole Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) flip-flop drama.

While she moves in on Thomas, he stops her saying he can’t do this and looks down at the wedding ring on her finger.  In a moment of reflection, Hope flashes back to Liam telling her he wants a divorce. She tells Thomas how excited she was the day Liam put this ring on her finger. But then, taking a deep breath, she quickly removes it! Thomas is a bit shocked.

Next, Hope goes over to Thomas, passionately kisses him, and leads him upstairs. Meanwhile,  Thomas is looking like he doesn’t want to come off as the bad buy here as Hope continues to be the aggressor.  Leading him up to the bedroom and then stripping off their clothes, the two hit finally hit the sheets.

Meanwhile, Liam is having round 100 of his conversation with his brother, Wyatt (Darin Brooks) over at Spencer Publications. Wyatt keeps asking Liam if he is sure his marriage is over.  Liam ponders.  Is Liam about to find Hope in the sack with Thomas? Stay tuned.  Now below, watch the final segment from yesterday’s B&B where Hope and Thomas wind up in bed.

Let us know in the comment section: are you glad Hope took off her ring and is trying to move on with Thomas? Will this all blow up in her face? Share your thoughts.

Hope has finally given in to her feelings of lust for Thomas. Giving into feelings are normal, but doesn’t make it right. We all will go through life living and learning. Some people say LIFE is for the living, so lets live it Most people will say LOVE is for the giving, let’s do that as well. I will only Hope that she’s able to answer that question as to WHY she did what she did and does SHE know who SHE is now? Love me some her! She’s human!!

Thope are in love and are doing some serious baby making in the bedroom and it’s twins a boy and a girl I predict.

She is attracted to Thomas because he treats her with love and respect ! Liam treats her like his doormat !! Liam doesn’t care if he is with Hope or Steffy. All he cares about is who is willing to stroke his massive ego more !! Hope finally found her self respect.

B&B is beyond frustrating. The way Liam immediately ran to Steffy and kissed her TWICE after seeing Hope kiss Thomas shows that he shouldn’t be with either woman. And the way Hope ran straight to Thomas when Liam walked out shows that she wasn’t as committed to making her marriage work as she said she was.

It’s sickening how these people in years-long relationships who supposedly love each other rebound within literal minutes to other people, taking zero time in between before hitting the sheets. I really hope the rest of the summer isn’t focused on this Thomas/Hope/Liam/Steffy madness, but I fear it will be.

That CLOWN Liam has always been a LOVESICK IDIOT…and he always will be. BEYOND YUCK!!!!!

Agreed she’s better off with Thomas he’s definitely into her he loves her with all his heart and soul and after three days of marathon sex you can bet their will be twin Thope babies on the way.

She will be very sorry when she realizes that her idyllic life and family are over and for what? Thomas!

Wrong it’s just beginning and Thomas and her are in love and are spending three days making those babies.

Kind of loving that Hope who repressed her sexuality as to not be like her mom Brooke the slut lists over the masculine , brooding maybe crazy Thomas. Liam seems like a safe boy toy over the adult Thomas who she seems to desire Kind of Heathcliff from Jane Erye

Thope aren’t lusting both parties are in love.

Love Hope and Thomas’ pillow talk. I sure hope that Hope becomes pregnant with Thomas’ baby !!! Thomas treats Hope the way a woman should be treated with kindness, love, respect, and honesty !! Liam is horrible, abusive, and unfaithful. That is NOT love !!!

I sure hope that the writers do not ruin Thomas and Hope’s lovestory with a “who’s your daddy ” pregnancy !! Please do not make Thomas the bad guy again !! That is Liam the serial cheater !!! I hope ,also, that Thomas and Hope start their own fashion house !!

I so agree. And it’s time for Thomas to have a descent storyline. Why not Hope, who he idealizes. He deserves some happiness. Douglas will be over the moon with happiness

Will someone please remind Wyatt that HIS supposed fiance’ sold baby Beth. “Don’t throw stones if you live in glass houses !”

I just started watching this show, Thomas & Hope have great chemistry!

AMERICAN IDOL: Final Three Are Chosen; After Nationwide Vote, Are the Right Singers Going to the Finale?

On Sunday night, the semi-finals of this season’s American Idol were decided on Disney Night, where the contestants had to chose songs from Disney’s songbook which has become a tradition and of branding by ABC/Disney.

As usual, judge and music superstar, Katy Perry got decked out in a Disney get-up and this year dressed as Cinderella in full gown, no less.

The results of the nationwide vote sent two singers home, leaving three for next week’s 22nd overall season finale of ‘Idol’ and the 7th on ABC. It should be noted that we, and many at home, were surprised that some of the song’s chosen were even in Disney movies!

Eliminated were: 15-year-old Triston Harper who ended his run with a performance of  Rascal Flatt’s “Life is a Highway.” Also eliminated was Emmy Russell, the granddaughter of country legend, Loretta Lynn. After Russell’s performance of Brandi Carlile’s “Carried Me With You,” she did not have enough votes to move into the finale.

Moving on to the finals are: Jack Blocker, who wowed audiences during two-rounds of performances with “Nobody’s Fool” from Cars 2, and then David Bowie’sSpace Oddity.”

Will Moseley was also safe after his last performance of the night of Steppenwolf’s “Born to Be Wild.” Judges Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie thought it was the perfect sound for his voice, and apparently America thought so too.

Finally, Abi Carter, who ended her night with a rendition of Fleetwood Mac’s, The Chain from the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 soundtrack, illustrated her stage presence growth as noted by the judges, when she went full fledged rocker/pop star for this one. Given Carter’s exceptional vocals, and her often more intimate style when accompanying herself on the piano, this performance also lifted her into the finals.

So, did the right singers make it to the finale? Who are you rooting for to be crowned the new American Idol next week? Comment below.

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS: Victor to Jordan: “You’re a Delusional Vicious, Bitch!” But, Is He About to Sic Her on Jack?

On the Friday, May 9th episode of The Young and the Restless, it has became abundantly clear that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is about to take revenge on his arch nemesis, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).

The manner in which he chooses to do so, may be the most heinous in Victor’s long list of masterminding plots. When visiting his prisoner, Jordan (Colleen Zenk) in the dungeon at the Newman ranch, she is trying to persuade him how he can’t let her rot down in the dungeon, in fact, he needs her and she can tell he wants something from her.

Jordan begs him for a hint of what he is planning, but Victor says,“It will be at a time of my choosing.” Jordan says she can help him in whatever he is planning. In fact, she can weaponize fear against someone; just look at what she did to his wife, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott)!

Victor yells at Jordan, “You’re a delusional vicious, bitch!” Jordan laughs and knows he wants her to do his dirty work. Victor says he will let her know when he decides. In the meantime, to torment her and to get her hooked on booze, as payback for getting Nikki back on the bottle, Victor reveals another bottle of vodka for her. He leaves it just in reach and just outside of her cell.

Next, Jordan tells Victor she needs food, not vodka. Victor slaps her hands away, and eventually walks out. Later, in the dungeon, Jordan paces tempted by the bottle, and screams for Victor to let her out of there and to tell her what he wants.

Back at the Newmans, Victor rants to Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Cole (J. Eddie Peck) that the family should stay away from the Abbotts. Victoria senses Victor is about to hatch a vengeful plot on Jack. Victor won’t admit to a thing.

At the Abbotts, Diane (Susan Walters) wants to walk out on Jack, due to his pill popping escapade to save Nikki. She is worried whatever move she makes might send him down the road to taking more pills. Jack swears he won’t do such a thing.  However, he is seems to be losing all the confidence from his entire family, which we can only take to mean he will be left open and vulnerable to whatever plot Victor hatches and uses Jordan to execute. All signs point to attempting to send Jack over the edge and spiraling downward into addiction.

So, what do you think will happen? How will Victor use Jordan to seek revenge on Jack Abbott? Comment below.

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS: Jack and Nikki Hit Rock Bottom with Riveting Performances by Peter Bergman and Melody Thomas Scott

If you caught the Thursday, May 2nd episode of The Young and the Restless, you witnessed an extraordinary episode filled with two unforgettable performances, that without a doubt will be remembered for 2024’s year-end accolades and next year’s Daytime Emmys.

In what at times reminded us that we were watching a two-person stage play or Y&R’s version of the classic motion picture, Days of Wine and Roses, two addicts hit rock bottom.

The episode only featured Melody Thomas Scott and Peter Bergman. The set-up, Nikki has gone on a massive bender alone in a GCAC suite, with booze bottles everywhere, slurring her words, sweating, the works. Jack, who is Nikki’s sponsor, ex-husband and friend, finds her and tries valiantly to get her to stop drinking and to sober up. He wants to get them to an AA meeting, he wants to get her to rehab. Throughout, while she is self-loathing on herself, Jack is reciting to her all the things she has to live for including Victor, her children, her charity work, etc.

Photo: JPI

All of this is falling on deaf ears because all Nikki wants is for Jack to leave, so she can continue drinking and be left alone with her vodka bottles.

At one point, she shoves Jack and says, “You have to want to get sober, but I don’t.”  Nikki throws an empty vodka bottle in disgust and tells him to stop with his damn positivity. She wants him to leave and smugly says,“You really think you can fix me?” She finds another bottle and opens it, but it’s empty. She smashes the bottle on the floor and runs into the bathroom.

Jack continues to plead with her that she is not to blame about Jordan and for Harrison being kidnapped. Trying to distract her, he talks to her about happy times with her family, orders food and coffee and water to help sober her up, but nothing is getting through to Nikki.

Next, Nikki says all his talking is making things worse, as he tries to grab the vodka bottle from her hands, but she won’t let it go. “I’m sorry I picked you as my sponsor,” Nikki angrily says to Jack. That moment stings Jack.  She tells him he ‘failed’. He couldn’t help her and now Victor can say, “I told you so.”

Slowly, Jack is losing his grip, with all the frustration and hurt Nikki has thrown at him. Nikki tells Jack to join the party or get out. Jack says, “Fine. I will.” He grabs a bottle and pours a drink. “Wow, that’s smooth. I see you sprung for the triple-distilled.” Nikki sneers, “Do you really think you can get me to stop by drinking half of my supply?” Jack suggests they order some vermouth. “Let’s see if Ol’ Smilin’ Jack can have fun again.”

Next, in a harrowing moment, Jack dials his former drug dealer, Kieran, to make a delivery to the suite. Jack tells Nikki she’s right. “I’ve been wound too tight for too long. It’s time to get loose!” Nikki is shocked at what she is seeing.

Photo: JPI

Now, Nikki is trying to to get the vodka bottle out of Jack’s hands but he won’t let her take it. Jack pours another drink and says he’s been a failure as her sponsor so to hell with it. “Don’t you try your reverse psychology on me,” Nikki spouts. After doing a toast to their marriage, friendship and Jordan, Jack tells Nikki, everything is not all about her.

He goes into the hell he has been through with Harrison, Ashley, Diane and Kyle and Nikki.  He wants some relief! Nikki reminds him alcohol was never his problem. Jack says he needs something stronger. Just then, a knock comes at the door. Jack pushes Nikki away and a delivery comes from Jack with a bag of pills. Jack says ,”Now, this is what hits the spot.”

Nikki is freaking out, but Jack says he has to remember what it feels like. When he holds the pills in his hand, that gives him comfort. Jack is grateful for their bond. “I would do anything for you.” He says he will go to rock bottom with Nikki, so they can climb out together. Jack remembers Diane was worried that helping Nikki might tempt him back to the pills. He told her there was no chance. He says, “It would help everyone else if they didn’t have to deal with Mr. Uptight.”

Even after all that, Nikki wants Jack out of the room. “Too bad, you’re stuck with me,” Jack says. He pours another drink and takes a pill out of the plastic baggie. Jack puts the pill in his mouth as Nikki shouts, “No!” Jack wonders how it feels to know you’re unable to help someone you care about. With that, he takes a drink to swig down the pill.

Nikki thinks he faked taking the pill, so Jack takes another one “There’s something liberating about just giving up.” Jack sadly says he let her down as a friend, and as a sponsor. Jack now blames himself for her massive bender. As he continues to down the pills, Nikki says she’ll get sober and will have something to eat.

However, Jack says this feels too good to eat. He takes yet another pill. Nikki tells him to give her the pills, because he can’t mix them with alcohol. Nikki’s phone makes a noise, so Jack grabs it and pretends it’s Victor on the other end, and then does his impression of Victor raising his eyebrow. Jack wants to continue his party, as he gets higher on the pills. Nikki says she does need a meeting. Jack pulls her close and says, “Dance with me.” As Nikki, pulls away, Jack passes out on the sofa. Nikki screams and we fade to black.

All we can say is, what towering performances by Peter Bergman and Melody Thomas Scott, and a great script for them to play these scenes in. It was gut-wrenching and raw, and one of the best episodes on the soaps in a long time.

So, what did you think about Jack and Nikki hitting rock bottom? What did you think of Peter and Melody’s performances? Do you think Jack will now be back with a drug habit, while Nikki will finally sober up? Comment below.
