Haley Pullos Returns to Court Over Car Crash and Felony Counts

Photo: JPI

Haley Pullos was back in court yesterday on August 30th, after pleading not guilty, in the ongoing case of the felony charges levied against her in a major car crash back in April of this year.

At that time, Pullos was arrested for colliding head-on into another vehicle, when she was driving the wrong way on the freeway. She also hit another car before that.  Since then, the actress has been on an extended leave from her role as Molly on General Hospital.  Since her DUI-incident, two other actress have filled in for her – Holiday Mia Kriegel and currently, Brooke Ann Smith.

According to the Daily Mail, during her court appearance, the judge adjourned the case until October, so attorney’s could exchange evidence ahead of her trial. Haley is charged with one felony count of DUI causing injury, one felony count of driving with a .08 BAC or higher, and one misdemeanor count of hit-and-run.

Pullos, who reportedly used crutches during last month’s court appearance, appeared this time wearing a black ankle brace.

The driver of the other car in the crash was identified as 23-year-old Courtney Wilder, who sustained serious injuries and was rushed to hospital, and almost died. Reportedly, Pullos is also being sued by the victim.  In the lawsuit, the victim claims, Pullos ‘dangerously and recklessly’ drove her vehicle the wrong way up the off-ramp to Colorado Boulevard in Pasadena and onto the Eastbound Freeway.

The report also alleged that Pullos hit a firefighter who was assessing her injuries and shouted,’This is a $400 f****** shirt!’, seemingly unaware of what happened to the other driver.

The Daily Mail also showed photos of Pullos in the courtroom and arriving on the scene.

So, what do you make of this most recent appearance by Haley in court? Do you think she will be found guilty during her trial? Will she ever return to GH? Share your thoughts and theories below.

Lock her up, she deserves to be in jail.

I feel very sorry for Courtney who was injured. May she get better with medical attention and rehabilitation.

I hope Miss Poulos gets the book thrown at her and never works again. Hahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!

I hope courtney and you both get better! I also wish Haley gets the help she needs! Id very much like to see her back as Molly!

courtney is usually a female name but courteny miller the driver of the car haley hit is a man

She would have done herself a favor by pleading guilty and taken her punishment. The court probably would have been more lenient with her if she admitted her “mistake”.
She definitely needs to spend some time in jail tho!!

I agree

Why is mistake in quotes? She committed a felony there is nothing funny about DUI.

I don’t understand why she is pleading not guilty either! Her lawyer must be money hungry if he/she advised her to plead this way! With all of the evidence against her I don’t know how she thinks a jury won’t find her guilty. Jensen Buchanan (ex-Sarah One Life To Live) did the same thing her DUI was also a head on crash causing injury. She pleaded guilty and got 1 year in county jail and 5 years probation which seems pretty light considering she could have killed someone. I don’t know if Haley or her lawyer think the fact she checked into rehab will help her case and that’s the reason she’s pleading not guilty??? I doubt that will work and she’d be better off pleading guilty! She’s gonna do time no matter what and now the jury will decide how much!

Very late response but from what I understand pleading not guilty at the arraignment is common unless a deal is already in place. Likely whenever a deal is reached then Haley will plead guilty or no contest if allowed.

Also with the extra details compared to Jensen’s case Haley will likely go to prison since Jensen didn’t do hit and run or have a belligerent attitude

Most likely the rehab will be used either as time served or to lessen how long she gets locked up for.

I want her back on the show as molly we all make mistakes

I agree. She has been the best Molly. I don’t like the ones that have replaced her.

I miss her on the show. Her victim deserves whatever compensation she’s owed and I hope Haley is remorseful. Only then does she deserve some grace.

We all make mistakes but DUI i find so reprehensible and it is just so obvious she could care less she injured someone. And in the age of Lyft and Uber there is just no excuse anymore for this stupid behavior.

Thank you. I get so tired of people saying she made a mistake. She made a choice, almost killed someone & showed no remorse. No excuses for this kind of behavior.

How do you know she didn’t feel no remorse. And I’m gonna day she mad a mistake. ..she made a bad decision. Don’t we all make bad choices. …bad decision. …I’m sure your not perfect

You don’t know what she feels or how she feels about the accident, her DUI and causing injury to that lady. . I don’t know why people are being so rude and mean towards Haley Pullos. Yes she made a mistake by driving drunk. And injuring that lady and that will be with her for the rest of her life on what she did.

also it wasn’t a simple dui she hit a car ..took off ended up going the wrong way on the freeway then she hit the 2nd car almost killing the driver

Ms. Pullos needs to get her sh*t together and accept responsibility for her actions, and doing some jail time could be the wake-up call she needs to begin to do that. She almost killed someone, and her only concern was that she was wearing an expensive shirt!! That’s just so tone deaf and shows that her priorities are completely screwed up. I don’t want to see her as Molly on General Hospital, I want to see her step up and make meaningful amends to all of the people who she has harmed. That is the only thing that matters.

How do you know what her only concerns were.? Was you right there beside her when she said that. You drink or have you ever been drunk or buzzed and said things that was stupid. I like her as Molly and I hope you does come back to General Hospital. And why do people have to be so judgemental

I agree people make mistakes.. I do feel bad for the other driver but people don’t have to be so mean towards Haley…Hopefully she will get the help she needs to get better..which I hope she does. Also hope one day she can play her character Molly on General Hospital again. Which I pray she comes back…

it wasn’t JUST a dui first she hit a car then took off and ended up going the wrong way on the freeway hit a 2nd car nearly killing the male driver

Really don’t like this Nicholas, he creeps me out bring back Marcus!

Don’t get me wrong. I love Haley as Molly. Can’t stand Nunu,Molly. However, I have a cousin who was recently hit on by a drunk driver. He is 15 years old and will spend the rest of his life in a wheelchair. Drunk driving. Zero tolerance.

Totally

Let her be gone!

Let there be justice for the harm she has caused others. As for GH, I have no interest in the character of Molly.

Im glad not to be all judgey alcoholism is a disease… the show has people drinking all the time they sure treated Tyler Christopher better…

Tyler was under contract when his drinking issues arose. He did not face felony charges and did not receive physically hurt someone. Haley has never been under contract. She is charged with a felony and caused grear bodily harm. The situations are totally different.

Tyler never hurt anyone!!! How can you compare the two???

tyler never hurt anyone in a driving accident…by the way his last soap job on days he was fired because he was so drunk they had to take him out on a stretcher……..he was just lucky he never injured or killed anyone

She has a disease that needs to be address. She made a huge mistake. She has to own up to her mistake and get herself help with her problem. She is not the only one in the world to have this issue. But needs to get herself help and take whatever punishment given.. We pray for her and the victim. ❤️

She is just so very unrecognizable from “Molly” of years gone by. Just sad a story and very disappointing by her lack of comprehension of what she caused.

The other person almost died… throw the book at her. I have no pity for Hayley

Late response but this won’t go to trial unless one of 2 things happens

A) Haley rejects all plea deals for being too harsh

Or

B) The prosecutor refuses to talk a plea deal with having her dead to rights.

Also with all the details of the events leading to the crash and her despicable statement to Soap Opera Digest the only way I see Haley ever returning to GH is if she has enough people like Nancy and Maurice pushing for her to be allowed to return. That is also means that GH is still going when she gets out of jail/prison.

May not even get any roles after her incarceration ends. Jensen Buchanan hasn’t had a role since her release from jail even without the other despicable actions Haley did.

GH’s Adam J. Harrington Reveals the Behind the Scenes Story of Becoming John “Jagger” Cates

When Adam J. Harrington showed up on all-new episodes of General Hospital, it shocked viewers of the long-running ABC soap opera, because he was the recast John “Jagger” Cates.

The character was previously played more than 30 years ago by Antonio Sabato Jr., and as fans of the soap have seen, Harrington’s version of Jagger and his circumstances are quite different. As it turns out, Adam was in the dark at what GH role he would be eventually cast in.

Speaking with GH co-stars, Steve Burton (Jason) and Bradford Anderson (Spinelli) on their Daily Drama podcast, Harrington shared the behind the scenes journey that led him to being the new version of John.

Photo: ABC

Adam shared, “I went into a chemistry read with Laura Wright (Carly) for a different character. I was told I wasn’t going to get the character, but hang tight, there’s something else. Then, that kind of took a couple of months and now we’re in December (2023), and then all of a sudden it was like, ‘here you go.'”

Once Adam was given a role on GH, he explained, “I still didn’t know who I was playing. I should have asked at that point. So the deal gets done, and I go, ‘By the way, who am I playing?'”

Photo: ABC

That’s the point where the GH powers-that-be let him in on just what he was about to take on. “They sent me a one sheet with John “Jagger” Kates in the description,” shared Adam. “It wasn’t until I went on YouTube and spent a good three or four days, watching all of Steve (Burton’s) storylines in the nineties (that I figured it out). By the way, they were fantastic. The production value … it was amazing the level of the acting, and the relationships you guys had. I really enjoyed it. So, that’s how I found out (about the character).”

Burton and Anderson asked Harrington about his thoughts on being a recast. “I thought it was important to go back to his circumstances and his upbringing, because that wouldn’t change no matter what he had become in the 20 or 30 or 70 years since we’ve seen him,” Adam shared. “I looked at what Antonio Sabato Jr. did and thought, ‘There was no way in hell I can even touch that or even come close, nor do I want to.’ The only thing I recognized was given his upbringing and what he’d gone through, it was a common sense of humor in there that’s either used defensively or as a way of getting through the world.”

As to how Adam should approach the part given it was a recast, he noted, “What I had been told from the brass is don’t worry about following that same emotional storyline. He’s gone away for a very, very, very long time, become successful and he’s come back. Basically, they were saying, you bring in you.”

Being part of the fabric of GH for awhile now, Harrington expressed, “I will say this about my experience so far. I am in absolute awe of the cast and the crew and watching how you do this on a train that refuses to stop. I said to a friend, ‘I’m on a train that’s going a hundred miles an hour, and they slow down to about 90 to kick you off after your scene is done.'”

So, what are your thoughts on Adam as John “Jagger” Cates after now seeing how the role has evolved and changed since its original version over 30 years ago? Comment below.
