An eavesdropping Dominic misinterprets Sonny and Michael’s conversation and comes to the wrongful conclusion that Sonny murdered Claudia.  Dominic feels conflicted after witnessing Sonny’s caring paternal side.  Ronnie tells Dominic they now have enough evidence to bring Sonny down.  Sonny’s alerted when Olivia suggests he should leave the country.  Jason continues to blame himself for bringing Franco into everyone’s lives and confides to Sam that Franco promised to kill someone for every person Jason killed, thus making Jason feel unable to do his job.  Spinelli gives Jason the distressing news that the hair the cops found at the cabin belongs to Sonny.  After making love, Nikolas and Elizabeth resolve themselves to the fact that this is their final goodbye.  Devastated over seeing Nikolas and Elizabeth together, Lucky returns home and begins destroying everything in sight.  Patrick makes it perfectly clear to Lisa that he has no intention of being unfaithful to Robin. Lucky clearly has his own private agenda when he convinces Nikolas to stay in town.  Alone at the Haunted star, Lucky begins drinking.  Sonny tells Jason he can no longer trust his judgment as he believes Franco has left Jason too rattled to make the right decisions.  Jason cautions Sonny not to try and implicate Franco in Claudia’s murder for fear he’ll expose the incriminating photos he has of Michael.  Dominic struggles with the idea of using Michael’s testimony to send Sonny to prison.  Johnny warns Lulu and Dominic that Lulu will be facing some serious fallout when people realize she knew Dominic was out to nail Sonny and didn’t say anything.  Dominic forces himself to push Lulu away for her own good.

Dominic and Lulu face a difficult dilemma with both realizing that they probably won’t be able to have a future together once Dominic busts Sonny.  Lulu admits to Maxie that she loves Dominic while he makes the same admission about her to Johnny.  Carly asks Lulu and Jason to be Josslyn’s godparents.  Jason is initially reluctant to have Josslyn drawn closer into his life but Carly refuses to take no for an answer.  Kristina turns to Sam for advice about Kiefer and the conversation leaves Sam slightly troubled for her younger sister.  Patrick and Lisa are reminded of their own past while tending to a young couple who’ve been injured in a car accident.  Edward informs Monica and Tracy he’s going to invite his great granddaughter Maya Ward and her half-sister Zoe to move in with them because they’re in financial straits.  Michael goes ballistic when he learns Sonny wants to turn the business over to Dominic when he decides to retire.  Michael accuses Dominic of trying to take what he believes is rightfully his and vows to bring him down.  Lucky alerts Jason to the fact he’s removing himself from Claudia’s murder investigation and warns him that Maxie saw Sonny the night Claudia disappeared.  Jason realizes he needs to make sure Maxie doesn’t say anything that could jeopardize Michael.  Lucky unrepentantly admits to Lulu that he’s drinking again.  Lulu tells Nikolas and Elizabeth about Lucky’s drinking and thinks it’s because of Nikolas’ feelings for Elizabeth.  Carly invites the Quartermaines to Josslyn’s christening. Michael remains hurt and angry over his belief that Sonny is choosing Dominic over him. Michael overhears a conversation between Johnny and Dominic.  Jason asks Maxie to lie and not tell the cops she saw Michael with Sonny the night Claudia disappeared and she agrees to do so.  Lucky apologizes to Luke.  Luke admits to Tracy he’s afraid Lucky is turning out to be just like him.  Lucky confronts Nikolas and Elizabeth about sleeping together.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Nikolas Gets an Earful from Ava About Sonny and His Meds; Nina and Drew Can’t Seem to Resist Each Other

Ava (Maura West) seems to feel she has a confidante in a jailed Nikolas (Adam Huss) on the Monday, April 29th episode of General Hospital. In story, Ava heads to Pentonville to visit her ex-husband before he is set to get transferred out of state.

When discussing her living relationship with Sonny (Maurice Benard), which Nikolas already knew about, Ava says she is happy about how her relationship with Sonny has been evolving, Nikolas ask if she’s in love with Sonny. Ava denies it, but goes on to say how great it is for her daughter, Avery to be living with both her parents, who are on the same side and not at odds.

Nikolas believes that Ava loves being in Sonny’s inner sanctum and the power that comes with it. Ava fires back that she spent years looking in from the outside and that everyone despised her. When Nikolas brings up Nina (Cynthia Watros), she says Nina never really could understand the true type of man that Sonny is.

Then, Ava launches in on Carly (Laura Wright), and how she would love to stick it to her, for all the times she blocked Ava from seeing her child and Carly’s attitude towards her. Then, Ava admits to Nikolas that she knows that Sonny has a watered-down version of his bipolar medication, which is making him more vulnerable and she’s capitalizing on it for her own gain. She says she needs to figure out who is responsible, but Nikolas voices concern for Ava’s plan and that if Sonny ever found out she knew about it and did nothing, he would be on the warpath against her. Ava promises she knows what she’s doing. When she says goodbye to Nikolas, he looks upset and sad, as he still seemingly cares for Ava.

Meanwhile in Drew’s (Cameron Mathison) office, Nina walks in complaining about Carly giving her a hard time about maintenance in her office. Nina wants payback for Jason (Steve Burton) buying Carly the hotel, but Drew is not up for playing games with her.  She says they both want revenge on Jason and Carly, which Drew denies. Next thing you know, Nina grabs Drew and kisses him. Although, it seems he might walk out the door and away from her, he locks it, and the two proceed to have round 2 of their hate-sex.

Elsewhere, Anna tells Jason about her shooting Charlotte and her concern about Valentin’s (James Patrick Stuart) involvement with Pikeman. Meanwhile, Valentin visits Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) in Pentonville, where threats are laid out to make Sonny look like the guilty party in eliminating Jason, while Anna is the line of fire, if she doesn’t keep her nose out of Pikeman business, which worries Valentin, who doesn’t want Anna getting hurt in any of this.

So, what do you think about Ava’s plans? Did you like seeing Nikolas back on the canvas? Are you all for a Drew/Nina continued affair? Will Anna get caught in the crossfire only to be saved by Valentin? Share your thoughts and theories via the comment section below.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Sonny and Jason Trade Threats on Each Other

The love affair that once was mobster Sonny (Maurice Benard) and hit man Jason (Steve Burton), and having each others back, is now apparently over! On the Thursday April 25th episode of General Hospital, an increasingly paranoid Sonny is confronted by Jason.

Jason wants to talk to Sonny about a “family matter”, but Sonny says they aren’t family now because he’s working with the Feds. Sonny goes on to say how he cannot trust Carly (Laura Wright) or Jason and he knows about Jason buying back the Metro Court for Carly from Nina (Cynthia Watros).

When the conversation turns to Josslyn (Eden McCoy) and Dex (Evan Hofer), Jason informs Sonny that Kristina (Kate Mansi) knows Sonny ordered a hit. Jason is worried about Dex’s safety. He tells Sonny that if he does something to Dex, Kristina will figure out that he is responsible.

Sonny goes on to say how much he loves his kids and how he will protect them. He then tears into Jason for abandoning his sons, Danny and Jake, for two years and how he has no right to stand there to tell him what to do.

Jason warns Sonny again to leave Dex alone or he’ll personally stop him. Sonny snaps at Jason, countering, “You’ll die trying!” And at that point, Jason walks out and Sonny slams the door behind him.

What do you think about this split in the longstanding relationship of Jason and Sonny? Do you like Jason and Sonny at odds? Will Kristina be the person to ultimately figure out what is happening to Sonny, or it might it be Nina, who knows Ava (Maura West) is up to no good? Share your thoughts in the comment section, but first watch this clip from part of the Sonny/Jason scenes below.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Brook Lynn and Chase Have Their Bachelor and Bachelorette Parties

On General Hospital, Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Chase (Josh Swickard) both were treated to Bachelorette and Bachelor parties to shake off any of those pre-wedding jitters. At The Savoy, the ladies have a touching and fun time with Brook Lynn.

The bride-to-be gives a speech to thank everyone for coming, while Lois lets everyone know to try the signature cocktail the “Brooklynn Chaser”, which gets everybody eventually and mostly, drunk.

When Tracy (Jane Elliot) questions Lois (Rena Sofer) as to why there is no music for the party, Lois realizes she forgot, and somehow, who does she call to the rescue? Spinelli (Bradford Anderson)! Saving the day, he winds up playing some tunes and later gets on the dance floor to ‘shake it off’ with the gals.

Lois makes a speech as the mother of the bride, and shares how proud she is of the woman Brook Lynn has become. Wedding games begin, including one of “hot potato” with a wedding bouquet.

When it’s time for the “Silly Poses” section of the party, Spinelli has now morphed from DJ to staff photographer taking memorable photos of the ladies to remember the evening by.

The best part of the event, was when Brook Lynn tries to get her grandmother Tracy out on the dance floor, which, at first, she refuses. After several of the guests bust a move, a tipsy Tracy joins the dance party after Joss mentions that if her grandmother Bobbie was here, she would dance. Tracy says “she agrees” and begins to cut a rug on the floor, much to the delight of the other women.

In the final moments, a tipsy Joss and Kristina (Kate Mansi) have a confrontation about Sonny, and Joss lets Kristina in more on Sonny’s behavior, which looks to have clued in Kristina a bit more as to how something is way off about her dad.

Across town at the Hatchett Bar, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and the men with the exception of Anna (Finola Hughes) and Jordan (Tanisha Harper), all attend Chase’s Bachelor Party where throwing hatchets into a dart board for supremacy is the order of the day. Drew (Cameron Mathison) and Ned (Wally Kurth) get into some words over ELQ, while Dante makes a toast to his police partner, Chase.

Photo: ABC

Suddenly Dex (Evan Hofer) shows up. Chase thanks Dex for coming, but Dex gets some dirty looks from other cops on the force. Dante gives Chase his present, which is a signed baseball by the Boston Red Sox.

Ned (Wally Kurth) makes a speech that although no one is good enough for his daughter, Brook Lynn, Chase has come closer than anyone has, so welcome to the family. Running in at the end is Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez), who just left Brook Lynn’s party, and she toasts her singing partner, Chase, and to the great man that he is.
