I love this show but then Highmore is a great actor I am glad MM is getting work again.

Muhney needs to get a agent and press on put the past behind and go for it.

I agree!

Would LOVE to see him back on Y & R!

I would too!

Helen and Blake…ME THREE!!!!!

I tuned in and I couldn’t put ”Norman Bates/Freddie Highmore out of mind lol
I didn’t see a doctor I saw Norman..

Freddie Highmore was absolutely awesome in the series Bates Motel as Norman, so yah I see Norman ..

It will be great to see MM, once again.
I can only hope he will return as Adam Y&R ..

Y & R, BEING HIM BACK ALREADY

Agree!

I agree. He was soooo loved by his fans.

Thanks for posting this Michael! I wanted to see Michael on this show and now I will know what day to watch. Great promo also. I hope Y&R brings him back as Adam.

Oh that is so Awesome! We are tuned in to see Michael MUHNEY as I have never watched the show but am going to make sure I do October 23rd! I am still a long time watcher like 35 years of watching Young and the Restless and still hoping that show will come to their senses and het Michael Muhney back as Adam! I can’t wait to see you!

Looking forward to seeing Michael Muhney again. Miss him.

Have missed MM so much and looking forward to seeing him on TGD which is a great show by the way. Pray that something positive comes from MM’s performance and good things start happening for him. Can hardly wait to see next week’s episode!

ONE OF THE SOAPS NEEDS TO EMPLOY THIS FANTASTIC ACTOR….I REALLY WISH HE WOULD BE BROUGHT BACK TO Y&R….ADAM NEEDS TO COME BACK AND NO ONE BETTER THAN MM……

Love this show. This actor shows so much emotion. Do not care for the flashbacks, from his childhood. I have to FF when they are operating, but I love most of the characters, including the neighbor girl. Wonder if anything will develop between them.

Love the show but even more excited to see Michael Muhney in it. I was hoping he would be cast as a regular not a guest but oh well…i will take what I can get…I quit, like many many others, watching Y&R after his undeserved firing and had hoped he would return there. but agai their loss. here’s hoping he gets back on to regulary appear on more tv he is a fantastic actor.

I hate to say it but i cringe at the the mention of MM’s name. Inevitably it’s followed by a volley of bring him back to Y&R posts. I think the character will return but not with that actor’s face. I’m also surprised they haven’t ONCE tried to bring in a new Drucilla. Lawsuit i guess. And what happened to Summer Newman?

I will watch this strictly for Michael Muhney, whom I still miss on Y&R. I’m in a minority, I see, who can’t abide Freddie Highmore’s mannered acting. I watched BATES MOTEL just for the stellar work of Vera Farmiga and Max Theriot. Looking forward to seeing Michael’s work coming up.

Love Michael Muhney, hope he eventually comes back to Y & R, his fans really miss him, the show needs something new, please bring him back.

Freddie Highmore is such an amazing actor. From the time I saw this little English lad in Finding Neverland…amazing the performances he gives in an American accent…especially now and his detached way of expressing himself in his current role. Incredible talent!

Agree!! And from the first time I saw FREDDIE play in AUGUST RUSH I actually wondered if he was related to Michael…they have similar facial features….more obvious when FREDDIE was younger. Love them both.

Yes! I loved August Rush! Fantastic in that, as well. I’m not an MM fan (which is why I didn’t comment specifically on him…sorry. LOL…never watched him on Y&R and not sure what the deal was with the alleged “situation” on set. I know he has his loyal fans…but as a neutral observer in listening to the fans take sides…I’ll just leave it at that. (I do admit though he was very good in his role on The Good Doctor. Tuned in by mistake…first time I saw the show since I don’t usually watch medical shows (Chicago Med and Night Shift I fell into and they’re both good)…which is when I realized it was Freddie. I’ll watch again. It, too, was good and that young actor who played the patient??? What a gorgeous, talented kid!!!! He broke my heart; I was misty through the whole end. He’s going to break a LOT of hearts when he’s older!!!

And then there’s Jonathan Rhys Myers (referring back to August Rush). Incredible actor unfortunately troubled with addiction. The Tudors? He can play anyone…what a talent! I’ll watch anything he’s in….

I didn’t watch because he was on the show. 😛

I hope Michael Muhney returns to Y & R! I was a fan since 1973. I seldomly watch since Michael left!

Maurice Benard Confirms Steve Burton is Upcoming Guest on ‘State of Mind’

Over this past weekend, General Hospital’s Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos) revealed that he is finally going to have longtime co-star, Steve Burton (Jason Morgan) on his State of Mind You Tube series for a sit-down interview.

While speaking with Soap Opera Digest at Nancy Lee Grahn’s (Alexis, GH) ALS fundraiser, Maurice confirmed the taping is happening this week and should be posted in about three weeks time.

Benard shared, “I wanted Steve Burton and I’m shooting him Tuesday, my good friend, but he’s been through a lot and I’ve been asking for three years, but he’s finally going to do it.”

In addition, to the episode, it appears Maurice also confirmed he will be doing a You Tube live on Tuesday, May 7th as well at 3 pm PT possibly with Burton.

As GH viewers know, for year Jason was Sonny’s henchman, and his right hand. Now upon Jason’s return, the two are at complete odds, due in part to Sonny’s medication being completely manipulated by Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and his growing paranoia.

As for what Burton will discuss, as Benard teased Steve has gone through a lot of personal ups and downs as well as professional, over the last three or more years, but has always landed on his feet. It will be interesting to hear this thoughts on those matters and how he soldiered through.

So, excited to see Maurice and Steve have a serious chat on State of Mind? Comment below.

Tom Selleck Continues to Think ‘CBS Will Come to Their Senses’ Following Cancellation of ‘Blue Bloods’

The Young and the Restless alum, Tom Selleck (ex-Jed Andrews), who has starred on CBS’ police procedural Blue Bloods for 14 seasons, is speaking out on the decision by the network to cancel the show.

During an interview with CBS Sunday Morning Selleck expressed his thoughts on if the show might get a last minute reprieve as Shemar Moore’s (ex-Malcolm, Y&R) S.W.A.T. has.

Tom shared,”I will continue to think that CBS will come to their senses. We’re the third-highest scripted show in all of broadcast. We’re winning the night. All the cast wants to come back. And I can tell you this: we aren’t sliding off down a cliff. We’re doing good shows, and still holding our place. So, I don’t know. You tell me!”

Selleck has been with Blue Bloods since its inception and its premiere in 2010, in the role of Commissioner Frank Reagan.

Aware that the cast has asked CBS to reconsider its position, CBS Entertainment President, Amy Reisenbach said, “We love this cast, we love their passion for the show. All shows have to come to an end. It’s important to us to refresh the schedule. We are going to end the show come December.”

Blue Blood also stars Donnie Wahlberg, Bridget Moynahan, Will Estes, and Len Cariou. Selleck is pictured above with former Y&R stars, Deidre Hall (now Marlena, Days of our Lives) and Jaime Lyn Bauer (ex-Lorie).

Lidia Bastianich said, “It is a tremendous honor to be recognized and receive the Daytime Emmy Lifetime Achievement Award for having shared my passion for food with TV audiences for over 25 years. Cooking together and sharing food remain a common denominator of all cultures. Food nurtures, it connects diverse people, and it brings families, friends, and strangers together. There is no better place to be on this earth, especially in these trying times, than sharing food at a table with others. That simple idea has been the basis of my life’s work. Hence, as I say in my shows, “Tutti a Tavola a Mangiare!” Mille Grazie to NATAS for this honor.”

While Adam Sharp shared, “Lidia Bastianich’s astounding success combines her love of cooking while simultaneously entertaining millions each day. It is an honor for us to say ‘grazie’ for the many fine meals borne from her TV kitchen and cookbook pages.”
