Emily finds Iris drinking in the Fairwinds Wine Cellar, with the place a wreck.  Iris thinks she’s been caught and that Emily has also seen Barbara, but when they talk to Gwen it becomes clear she has not, and is disappointed only in Iris’ drinking.  Iris, glad she hasn’t been found out, plays up her shame and throws herself on Gwen’s mercy.  Gwen understands, and actually blames Iris’ relapse on Emily, for not being as kind as she could be.  Emily can’t believe it.  Iris goes to Barbara’s room and gets ready to cash a large check.  At EOD, Emily is again disbelieving when she finds Barbara in the wine cellar. Emily has found Barbara tied up in the wine cellar.  She toys with her little bit, teasing her about it being nice with Barbara bound and gagged.  Iris finds this scene and knocks Emily over the head with a wine bottle, then ties Emily to Barbara.  Emily reveals to Barbara that Henry and Vienna are no longer together, and that ever since Barbara “disappeared” Henry has been spending all his time trying to find her.  Barbara’s faith is renewed and now she needs to escape to get home to Henry.  Gwen calls the hospital to know when to pick Iris up but hears that there is no AA meeting at Memorial today.  Henry has more or less confirmed that Barbara is in trouble.  He still considers Vienna a suspect.  Iris, sensing their getting close, suggests it could be Emily – who she’s tied up in the wine cellar.  Henry, still in his get-up, goes to the Warehouse with Paul and Myra Haft, the psychic.  Myra says Chuckles has been witness to much pain and suffering in the room, but confesses that there’s not much to offer in the way of evidence or testimony.  But Henry keeps believing, and in the end finds the scrap of paper on which Barbara had written that she was in trouble.  At EOD, Henry is vindicated.

Chris has his blood tested for an illness and Reid is concerned.  Both prepare for a meeting with union reps at Al’s, Reid with Luke, and Chris with Katie.  But Chris snaps at Katie because of his stress and later finds out that he’s tested positive for a serious condition.  Chris falls asleep while preparing for the meeting and is later chewed out by Bob for appearing lackadaisical, the opposite of how he should act if he wants to be COS, considering he’s Bob’s son.  Reid, meanwhile, takes Luke’s advice (mostly) and knocks the meeting out of the park.  Luke and Reid go for dinner at Metro.  Luke talks about Noah, and Reid is uncomfortable at that.  Later, Alison sides with Luke that Noah has been a big part of his life and Reid will have to accept hearing about him.  Noah is moving to LA in September.  Meanwhile, at Metro, Katie and Chris, and Casey and Alison, are also there.  Chris asks Reid to give him an injection, and he does so in the restroom.  Katie later complains to Reid that Chris has been hot and cold with her and Reid, knowing what’s going on with Chris’ health, asks her to be patient, while having already encouraged Chris to tell her the truth tonight.

Lucy goes to Craig’s room and they have an awkward reunion. Johnny returns with a scraped knee and Craig’s alarmed, internally, that Blackthorn could have been the man who knocked Johnny over as part of his threat. Craig accuses Blackthorn of attacking his kid, and Blackthorn denies but still wants his money.   Carly’s informed by Lily that there’s no perfume factory and that Craig was the silent partner. Carly’s upset that Lily would let Craig into their business plan. Carly turns to Jack for emotional support. Together they will look into Craig and Blackthorn.  Carly overhears Craig and Blackthorn talking about their deal. She confronts Craig, and he denies that helped Carlisle fail. Carly tells Jack that she wants to set up Blackthorn to get to the truth of the matter. Jack will let her if she wears a wire.  Dusty and Lucy wake up together. Dusty rushes off to a meeting with Teri, leaving Lucy wondering about his feelings for her. Dusty tells Teri he saw Blackthorn and Janet kissing. Teri goes to Janet and encourages her to take action before she loses Dusty. Janet takes lasagna to Dusty’s room, only to find him back in Lucy’s embrace. Jack takes distraught Janet home from the Lakeview, where she saw Dusty and Lucy in bed together. Jack tells Janet she has no one to blame but herself, since she pushed Dusty away so often. Janet concedes that Jack has a point. Dusty tells Janet that he’s sorry she was hurt by his actions, but he can’t apologize for not being perfect – he never said he was.  Janet can’t accept Dusty’s love since he slept with Lucy. Liberty defends her. Janet takes Blackthorn up on his offer to meet. Meanwhile, Jack and Carly can hardly resist the heat when Carly unbuttons her shirt so Jack can wire her. Holden walks in on them, diffusing the moment. Carly finds Blackthorn in the Lakeview Lounge and flirts with him in the hope of discovering some evidence of his corrupt past. Blackthorn is about to admit to something when Janet walks into the lounge.

Gabriel hints to Lucinda that he knows she’s behind the sabotage of Carlisle. Lucinda goes to Worldwide only to find a crying Lucy. Lucy berates Lucinda for coaxing her back to town and into Dusty’s arms when Dusty loves another woman. Lucy and Gabriel meet for the first time and bond over memories of Lidia. Lucy tells Gabriel she’s leaving because she can’t put up with her family. Gabriel confesses that he knows Lucinda set Craig up.  Craig receives a threat.  Lucy advises Gabriel to do whatever he’d like with the information that Lucinda set up Craig for failure. Gabriel goes to tell Craig, but Craig, worried about Blackthorn’s threat to his children, tells Gabriel to stay away from him. Hurt Gabriel goes to the Snyder pond. In Fashions, Liberty berates Lucy for sleeping with Dusty and ruining her mother’s happiness. Lucy tells Liberty that Janet already won. Liberty joins Gabriel at the pond, where they console each other.  Craig’s freaked out by the bomb threat he’s received. Dusty learns of Blackthorns menace to Johnny. Dusty threatens Blackthorn at Al’s. He leaves, only to run into Lucy who’s there to say goodbye.

Holden tells Lily he’ll always rescue her, no matter what. Lily doesn’t want to need rescuing. Holden recommends she stop hanging out with Craig then. Lily’s not entirely convinced. Lily meets Holden, who presents her with the necklace she hocked to get them flown back in time for Holden’s wedding. Lily’s touched by the gesture, until Holden starts to go off on Craig. Lily tries to convince Holden that Craig isn’t to blame, but they argue instead. Lily walks off, only to come home to find Sierra and Lucy there to warn her about Craig as well. They discuss how Lucinda’s played them like chess pieces and they bond.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Dante and ‘Nathan’ Have It Out, Valentin and Carly Share Passionate Moments Which May Be Their Last

Published

on

By

On the June 16 episode of General Hospital, the PCPD under acting police commissioner Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is in a bit of mess and does not go unnoticed by ADA Turner (Nazneen Contractor).

First, there is the whole Chase (Josh Swickard) defending Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) over Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), who he arrested for allegedly tossing Willow in the waters next to the Quartermaine boathouse. Turner has had it with Chase’s good guy act and how he tampered with evidence in her case against Willow for shooting Drew.

Later, Dante and Justine question “Nathan” (Ryan Paevey) about Sidwell’s escape while in his custody. Turner is not buying his cover story that he was ambushed by Sidwell and his men. Once “Nathan” left the interrogation room, Turner went in on Dante about having “Nathan” on the force after seven years away, and Chase she views as a “dirty cop.”

However, Dante defends both of his officers, but Justine warned that “Nathan” and Chase’s behavior would reflect poorly on Dante as commissioner and she should really think about that. Later, Dante has a terse confrontation with “Nathan” on how he botched a prison transport and that he better watch his back as Justine is one step away from turning this over to Internal Affairs.

COP MADNESS

Next, “Nathan” apologizes for the way he handled the situation with Rocco and says he feels badly. But then in the twist, Dante said that he was grateful that “Nathan” had been there for his son in his time of need (referencing after Rocco shot Cullum and covered it up).

Then, there’s the newest police officer in the precinct, Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett). He may actually be on to “Nathan’s” double life when he questions him about a syringe found in Britt’s room at Bobbie’s. “Nathan” made up a story to counter Joe’s, that he was not aware that his sister was taking anything for her Huntington’s disease diagnosis. Joe called the forensic department lab wanting to know what drug was exactly in the syringe.

BEFORE YOU GO

At Carly’s (Laura Wright), Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) tells her that he must travel to Geneva to speak to the head of the WSB, named Z. Valentin feels it’s the only way to save Josslyn if he informs Z about Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) being a double agent. Valentin shares with Carly that he has to stop Cullum from bringing his dangerous cold fusion device online. Carly is beside herself. She doesn’t want Valentin to sacrifice himself by turning himself into the organization who has made him a fugitive in the first place. Valentin stands firm that he must meet Z in person.

Knowing that revealing himself to the WSB meant he was likely going back to prison, Valentin asked Carly if she’d get in touch with his daughter, Charlotte so he could say good-bye to her. Next, Carly and Valentin make their way to the bedroom to make love, which may be for the very last time, if Valentin is caught and put back in Steinmauer Maximum Security Prison.

CAUGHT BY CULLUM

At the same time while at Wydemere, Cullum is talking with one of his WSB operatives. Now, he is pondering if Valentin and Sidwell were working together all along.  Next, Cullum entertains the idea of involving the FBI to locate Britt and Rocco. He says he plans to kill them both once he knows of their whereabouts. Cullum sees the only other threat to the completion of the cold fusion project to be Anna Devane.

Cullum wants to track the location of the unidentified person who called the private clinic in France trying to get in touch with Anna, while pretending to be Kevin Collins. When the agent came back with a report, he says it emanated from a cell tower near Shoreline Road. It’s in the that moment that a light bulb goes on for Cullum! Valentin is in Port Charles and hiding at Carly’s!

So, what do you think of the PCPD cops, Chase, Joe and “Nathan?” Who should Dante fire? Do you think Valentin will go the run?Are you digging Carly and Valentin’s relationship and want it to continue, especially with Finola Hughes on her way back as Anna next month on-screen? Weigh-in via the comment section, and in case you missed it, you can check out our latest interview with Dominic Zamprogna below from his appearance on the Michael Fairman Channel, where he talks the PCPD cops, Rocco on the run, and more.

THOSE IN NEED OF MEDICAL ATTENTION

Things are much more serious for Kat and Eva who winds up in a closet but a mental wall comes crashing down upon them. As Kat rails at her sister, Eva says she doesn’t feel well and begins to spit up blood. Kat is a wreck and is trying to deal with her sister’s plight, but they are trapped.

Ted gets Andre stitched up and tells him to stay put.

Smitty and Nicole gasps as its Martin! He is not moving in and needs medical attention. Smitty fighting back tears asks Martin to squeeze his hand if he can hear him. But there is no response.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Sidwell is Set Up By Lucas and Company, Cassius is in the Right Place at the Right Time

Published

By

On the Wednesday, June 10 episode of General Hospital, after Sidwell (Carlo Rota) shoots Lucas (Van Hansis) three times, he is surrounded by PCPD commissioner Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), Joe (Jonathan Bennett) and other uniformed cops. Laura (Genie Francis) and Sonny (Maurice Benard) show up and the mayor runs to Lucas as Joe checks his vitals.

Lucas comes to and reveals (as we all predicted) that he was wearing a bulletproof vest. That reveal sets Sidwell off that he was played as Dante says there is evidence enough to arrest him for attempted murder.

Sidwell though, tells Dante that he needs to arrest Laura and his father, the mobster Sonny Corinthos, for Professor Dalton’s murder, but admits he no longer has the proof because Lucas broke into his safe and stole the evidence.

LUCAS GETS BY WITH A LITTLE HELP FROM HIS FRIENDS

Just then, “Nathan” (Ryan Paevey) shows up wondering what he missed. Sidwell says his lawyer will get the charges thrown out since Dante, Laura, Sonny and Lucas conspired against him. However, Dante mistakenly allows “Nathan” aka Cassius to be in charge of taking Sidwell to the PCPD and to book him.

Lucas is still uneasy. Laura wants him to go to GH to be checked out. Dante asks Laura and Sonny and Sonny about Dalton’s death, but they play dumb as if they know nothing about it, which is not lost on Dante that they are lying.

Later, none other than Joe takes Lucas to the hospital, and for the first time we see the two characters truly in a one-on-one moment together. Lucas talks about Marco and Joe waits around till the nurse comes to get Lucas to get checked out. Do you get a sense that Joe likes Lucas, or is that all in our minds?

SIDWELL GETS AWAY

Taking a side road, Cassius gets Sidwell out of his vehicle, and tells him he cannot protect him from an attempted murder charge, so the only thing Jenz can do is to get out of the country and disappear for good. Sidwell says he has many contingency plans in place, and also warns Cassius that he will expose him if he does not comply with what he needs him to do.

To make it look good, Sidwell asks for Cassius’ gun. In the final moments of the show, Cassius is seen with a gash on his head calling Dante, and informing him that Sidwell’s thugs jumped him and Jenz got away!

THE PLAN TO BLACKMAIL DREW BEGINS TO TAKE SHAPE

Elsewhere, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) is freaked out that Jack (Chris McKenna) is able to grab her arm and talk! Just then, Nina (Cynthia Watros) shows up. Willow learns her mother hasn’t been injecting Brennan with the paralytic drug. Jack says he can stop Sidwell and Cullum from coming after her and has evidence she can leverage against Drew.

Willow learns, that according to Brennan, Drew misappropriated federal funds and he has the proof, and if that should come to light, Drew would be sent to prison. Nina says Drew won’t risk being sent to prison again, so Willow can stop drugging him.

However, Jack has a plan. He says he’s the only one with the information on Drew. He thinks they should continue to let Cullum and Sidwell believe he’s still in a locked-in state to give him cover. Willow is told as much as she hates continuing to drug Drew, she will only need to do it 1 or 2 more times, to give Jack time to set everything in motion.

So, were you annoyed that Cassius freed Sidwell when he was caught shooting Lucas Jones? Where do you think Sidwell will go? Do you think Joe and Lucas might be potential boyfriends, and what do you think of Jack’s plan? Did Drew really misappropriate federal funds? Weigh-in via the comment section below. But first, check out the scenes between, Nina, Willow and Jack.
