Probably Theressa, Eve, Jordan, Kate, Abigail, Jennifer, and Danial…lol

He looks like he could be good in the part.

New Dimera blood will be very much welcomed on Days! I’m just hoping he’s a good actor

He’s really good! I saw his reel at jason47facebook.

Neat! Days is my fave soap!!!

This is going to be very, very, interesting. Watch out, Ben!;)

All I think looking at him ( especially the picture soap opera digest posted) is that he looks way too much like the actor that plays JJ

I was actually thinking that.

no he looks like Nick

He looks like Victor.

I thought it was the old Will with dark hair

I think this is greeat news. I think DOOL will have huge shoes to fill when Sami, EJ and Kristen leave the show. It will be like the new generation will be taking over. This is good and bad news for the show. I support the show by watching every day, hoping to see it for years to come. I think by bringing Chad back is a step in the right direction. Next, the show needs Molly Burnett back as Melanie. Abigail needs a another friend besides Jordan.

The show has brought in a lot of new characters and actors in the past year. Some are working great, some not so much. I loved the actress that plays Jordan on “AMC,” but not on “Days.” She always has a pained look on her face. Her storyline has been strung along for more than a year, but we still don’t know what happened with Clyde. Now, I don’t care and fast forward through the scenes. I like Ben with Abigial, but their pairing doesn’t scream “sexual chemistry.”

I loved Kassie D. on “GL” and “OLTL,” but her character comes across as a cardboard villain with no cheering/redeeming qualities. As much as Kristen is the ultimate diva, we love her because of her imperfections and humor (and beauty). Kassie seems out of her element with Theresa being her younger sister and her interactions with Jennifer. It seems like a rivalry for Jennifer because the show has ran its course with Nicole/Jennifer’s love/hate relationship.

I know some of the audience is warming up to the new Will Horton, but the Sonny/Will storyline lacks the same intensity and front-burner status as when Chandler Massey played the role. Again, I fast forward through their scenes.

Here is a few ideas. Bring in some siblings for Sonny. Bring back Stephanie. Bring back Chelsea, Big back some of Melissa’s kids so Maggie can have someone else to obsess about besides Brady and Daniel. These characters have family ties to the Hortons and Bradys.

As much as I liked some of the characters in the 1980/1990s, Adrienne, Kayla, Roman, Abe are nothing more than filler. Stop paying these type of actors money when it can be spent more wisely. There is nothing about any of them that are going to lure new viewers to the show.

Here is one more idea. Bring in a sister for Kate Roberts, one of the most interesting characters on the show. I can see Lauren K and someone the caliber of Colleen Zink going head-to-head. That would be a bitch fight for the ages.

Melanie returns in Nov. so Maggie will have her grandaughter too…

Wow like the thought of a Kate Sibling.. That would be really fun to watch if cast properly.

I’m glad Chad is returning since E.J. is leaving.
Speaking of E.J., give the guy some backbone. Let him forget Sami and move on.

Yes, seriously he needs to forget about Sami!

I find this new groveling EJ to be pathetic and unwatchable. I have NEVER been a Sami fan, even less so now, so I would like to see EJ leave the show on an upnote that involves shoving Sami in the face and leaving her broke, childless, and in a mud puddle.

I am glad Chad is coming back. He is needed.

I agree he is becoming too pathetic

I was a big fan of Casey Deidrick in the role, especially towards the end of his run when Chad had good story, so hopefully Billy Flynn does well in the role! With James Scott leaving in the fall, DAYS needs some more DiMera blood, and he looks like he could fit the role quite well.

I like that DiMera blood will still be present on the Days canvas. While I think it’s great that new actors & new to soap actors get chances, I continue to think of all the actors from the now cancelled shows (or the ones written off canvas at YR, GH, BB) and how I would really like to see them on our screens! That said, I shouldn’t form an opinion until I’ve watched him in action. But please, can we get some of our favorites back on screen!!

Yes a new generation of Dimera is so needed show, but lets us move away from the old Brady/Dimera feud and just have Chad grow into a nasty villain in the making– to see a good guy slowly turn bad would be an interesting character study– Not sure he will end up with Abigail now that she slept with his brother— not sure Melanie would be the way to go either— I am thinking a Theresa/ Chad pairing might have interesting possibilities.

NuChad and Theressa would be hot…i pictured them together(Melanie returns in November so i smell triangle)…after watching Kristens return, i find this plotline becoming a bit stale…Eve is evil and somewhat looks like Kristen…imo…she can be the town villain now but not with Brady…let him find someone fresh and new…i also wish Days would bring back Stephan Schnetzer(AWs Cass) who played Julies brother Steven Olsen back in the late 70s…he was a little bad back then selling fake antiques but now id like to see him as a shrewed businessman and a new love interest for Kate and Eve!!!

I definitely hope he’ll bring new blood to the bore that was Chad DiMera. He’s a very cute guy, too! But too much ab-work for me, though!

He looks more like Will Horton to me than or Even the first Eric Brady. Oh well maybe he has the acting chops to bring thw Dimera darkness.

He’ll try to re-ignite things with Abby and Ben will feel threatened and there will be endless longing glances and confrontational meetings in the fake-leaf park.

I hope they either bring Mia back for Chad (remember she was his first love and they did have a child together)…. or I’d like to see him with Melanie or Teresa.
PLEASE keep Abigail away from him. Her character has been too over exposed all year. I am totally over her. Since the whole Efail affair I have nothing but dislike for her character. To me, there is nothing rootable about her. Keep her with Ben.

I would rather see Casey return than this guy

I love Sami and EJ. Will really miss them. And by the way, all who think EJ is pathetic, I don’t agree. He loves Sami. Always has. She is his match. They have done everything possible to destroy each other but they still love each other.

Can’t stand the new Will. Poor Sonny for having to put up with that whiny excuse for a man.

Would prefer the old Chad.

Daniel is being an idiot.

Do not, Do not, Do not like Abigail with anyone.

I’m ready for Brady to find someone…I was actually hoping he could turn Teresa around.

AND BO! What is with that? You are a husband and father and you just decide to take off. You never contact your wife, child, mother? Too stupid a story line.

I LOVE the new guy for Hope. Let her be happy. We need a new Matriarch for the Horton family. Hope could step up. I’m ready for that story to develop.

Jordan is boring. We need someone new for Rafe. There was a time when I thought he and Hope would be a good match..

Heck, bring back Shawn-Douglas.

He looks alot like Nick

You got to be kidding me! This guy is no chad! Please….

I dont like him. He is not Chad.
Bring back the real one.

Does anyone else think his new Chad could be one of Nicolas Cage’s kids?

I just wrote. I thought. He had some Niclulous Cage in him!! glad I ‘m not alone!!!!!!!!!!

Totally agree Chad could b related to Nicolas cage

I was just checking to see if he was related to Nicolas Cage. Still do not know but do not like him foe the new Chad. Also do not like the new Will he always has a pinched look on his face. I fast forward through a lot of Days these days.

I just saw him for the first time and instantly thought he must be Nick Cage’s son! So I googled and found this! Crazy!

Could have done better choosing the new Chad. He is a cross between Nick Fallon, Bob Denver with some Nicolos Cage thrown in.

Oh my gosh! I’m watching today’s show……… Chad. And JJ almost look like twins!!

he is soooo WRONG for this part……you could have at least gotten someone who was as tall as the old Chad….This person looks like he is about 18 years old…

Days will need to fill about 50% of their episode time with the loss of big hitters Sami and EJ leaving. His air time should be limited to the likes of the the Dimera butler. Bring back Casey for the character of Chad.

I LOVE THE NEW CHAD! HE is bad boy and he is HOT!

There is no doubt in my mind that Billy Flynn (Chad on Days of Our Lives) is a child of Nicolas Cage. I am thinking he’s just trying to show that he can make it without using his father’s name.

Wishing him the best of luck in his new role. You’re doing great.

Thinking the SAME EXACT thing. No Doubt!!

I think Casey Chad is much better. I am not a fan of new Chad nor new Will. I also am very sad at the horrible story line for Bo given his tenor. Why can’t you have killed Bo off. This isi not something Bo would do to his family. I am very scared for Days with the depature of Sami and EJ. I had also wanted Hope to be paired with Raffe. I think the passion would be much better than Hope and Aden.I cannot wait for Melanie to come back! I hope Abigail has less air time and we get more JJ time.I have been watching Days for 30 years!!

Just commented to my husband that I thought new Chad looks like he could be related to Nicolas Cage … wonder if Mr. Cage would agree.

He looks like Nicholas Cage!!

I thought the same thing!! Like
Maybe Nicholas Cage’s son! I. Think he will do well !!:)

I don’t think the new chad feels right. It feels like he’s a different caractor, and not a different actor.

I do not like the new Chad and I think he could definitely be related to Nicolas Cage. Do not like the new Will either.

I like the old WILL better as well…..

I think Billy Flynn as Chad is solid. Come on DOOL fans, he is a Dimera, did you really think he would remain innocent? I have been watching Days on and off for 30 years, it is time for new blood and DVR worthy storylines.

Nicholas Cage, seriously? You clearly need glasses, Billy is a young Clive Owen!!

I thought he was the old Nick

I think Billy Flynn is fantastic as Chad, and he’s just so handsome. Those blue eyes, must have all the young women going crazy! Not to mention, he’s a really talented actor and plays the role of a DiMera really well.

you right Billy Flynn I like how he portray Chad as a man back with vengeance and fury for the people who betray him

love billy flynn
