GENERAL HOSPITAL: Ava Receives a Haunting Letter About Austin’s Murder

On Thursday’s November 30th episode of General Hospital, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) is on the case of who shot Austin (Roger Howarth) and pays a visit to Ava Jerome (Maura West) at Wyndemere.

Dante asks Ava when was the last time she saw Dr. Austin Gatlin-Holt. She asks why and what is going on with Austin? Dante tells her he’s dead, and assumes she must already know, especially given her non-reaction to the news.

Ava tells Dante she was last with Austin two days ago at her gallery. When he questions her if security footage can back that up, that would then give her an alibi. However, Ava explains she left out the back, and that the surveillance camera has not been working. Since the murder happened in Pautauk, Dante tells Ava they will want to question her.

She responds that a lot of people in town knew Austin from Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and on. However, Dante points out that Ava was the only one that was kidnapped by Mason (Nathanyael Grey). Ava says she will have her lawyer ready.

As Dante exits, Ava looks through her unopened mail. She finds a letter addressed to her and it says inside on note paper, “You’re welcome.” But that’s not all, inside the letter is a polaroid of Austin’s dead body.

Also in story, Molly (Kristen Vaganos) has a meltdown when she has to start the finding a surrogate process all over again, and is found crying on a park bench by her sister, Kristina (Kate Mansi). Will this be the conversation where Molly will take up Kristina on her initial offer to carry the child for her and TJ (Tahj Bellow)?

In another key moment, James thinks Cody (Josh Kelly) would make a great big brother, which then gets Felicia (Kristina Wagner) flashing back to when Cody told Mac that it turns out Mac is not his bio-dad. Felicia senses something is not right. Is she finally on to the fact that Cody lied to Mac? Stay tuned.

So, who do you think sent the letter to Ava about killing Austin? Is it Nikolas? Cyrus? Mason? Could it be Ava herself, who doesn’t remember she did the deed, or could it be someone else? Share your thoughts via the comment section below.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Thanksgiving Brings Gloria and Emma Back to Port Charles, While Sasha Struggles to Move on With Cody, Valentin Confronts Charlotte

In a heartfelt Thanksgiving episode (pt 1) from General Hospital, sometimes it’s the smaller moments that have the biggest impact.  As we begin Turkey Day gatherings, Lois (Rena Sofer) has a surprise for Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) and the rest of the Quartermaines, when her mother Gloria (Ellen Travolta) arrives!

With Gloria (Ellen Travolta) and Lois at the helm of cooking Thanksgiving dinner, this could be the year that nothing goes wrong with the Q’s Thanksgiving dinner … don’t count on it! Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) arrives with Chase (Josh Swickard) and is thrilled to see grandma Gloria.

Later, Gloria meets Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) and Cody (Josh Kelly) and says what a stunning couple they are. In the Q’s living room, Gloria tells Sasha she’s a big fan of hers from Home & Heart, and to remember that she has a knight in shining armor in Cody. After all, he was the one who saved her from their attempt to drive her crazy on TV.  Eventually, Sasha sneaks out. Cody waits and then decides to find her.

While Gloria is in the kitchen, she gets a call on her cellphone that says, “Uncle Pete.” This changes Gloria’s demeanor as something is amiss. When Lois meets up with her mom in the kitchen, she sees that Gloria has poured some booze in her drink. Gloria gets a call again, but ignores it.

Cody has found Sasha in the stables with Ferdinand. It is then, we get to the root cause of what is going on with her. Sasha shares that this time last year she had Brando and Liam in her life and they are both gone. Sasha feels like she is betraying them, if she allows herself to move on, and that would make her feel she is leaving them behind. Sasha knows Brando would want her to go on with her life. Cody says moving on doesn’t mean forgetting.

When Gloria heads to the Q’s living room to announce that dinner will be ready in a few minutes, Lois may have just jinxed the meal when she mentioned that “They’ve broken the curse.” Ned (Wally Kurth) thinks she just jinxed things and Edward’s ghost will arrive soon. Then, like clockwork the smoke alarm sounds. Leo exclaims, “Here we go again!”

Elsewhere, a melancholy Anna (Finola Hughes) is in for a surprise when a chipper Robert (Tristan Rogers) shows up at her hotel room door. Knowing she is fretting over shooting Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) and her relationship with Valentin (James Patrick Stuart), he has brought someone to cheer her up. With a knock at her door, Anna is thrilled to see her granddaughter Emma in a return visit from an all-grown up Brooklyn Rae Silzer.

Meanwhile, Charlotte is home from the hospital and Laura (Genie Francis) and Valentin confront her for what she did to Anna – and how Victor was manipulating her from the grave with the letter he wrote to her. Charlotte lies claiming she did not set fire to Anna’s. Valentin looks puzzled and worried as to how he can breakthrough to his daughter, especially now that his relationship with Anna has tanked.

Finally, it’s a Davis girls Thanksgiving as Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) hosts her daughters plus TJ (Tajh Bellow) Jordan (Tanisha Harper) and Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez), who gets a last minute invitation from Kristina (Kate Mansi). Sam (Kelly Monaco) tells Kristina how proud of her she is, while Molly (Kristen Vaganos) and TJ share that, although they are sad about what happened to their potential child, they are thankful for what they do have. TJ tells Alexis he has chosen neurology as his medical speciality. Could she be hoping he could help her with Gregory’s (Gregory Harrison) ALS condition? Eventually, Alexis makes a toast to her girls and their friends and loved ones.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Who Shot Austin?

As we head into a new week on General Hospital, last Friday’s cliffhanger had a shocking ending. Someone fired two shots at Dr. Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth), and at the end of the episode, he was lying on the floor bleeding out.

It all went down after Austin went to the PCPD to talk to Dante (Dominic Zamprogna). He tells Dante he will give him evidence on who was his and Mason’s  (Nathanyael Grey) boss – the person who is mastermind behind all the terrible things he did, in exchange for leniency.

Dante informs Austin that he is really in no position to make a deal. Austin responds, “I don’t think you really understand the risk I took coming here. If my boss finds out that I’m here before you get a chance to bring him into custody, I’m a dead man.”

Photo: ABC

Austin promises to give up the name of his boss (Cyrus) if there is a guarantee he will have immunity. Dante says he needs evidence that they can use and Austin agrees to give it to him.  At the end of the day, a conflicted Austin, wants to clear his name.  He tells Dante he’s not a bad guy, and he is really trying to do the right thing.

Later at the PCPD, Dante tells Robert (Tristan Rogers) that Austin will give up his boss for his immunity. Robert is OK with the deal as long as they have the evidence.

Later, Austin comes home and walks inside. He recognizes someone who is there and says, “What are you doing here?”  We see what looks like a man’s pair of shoes walking. The next thing you know, Austin is shot twice, and the final moment of the episode shows Austin in dire straits.

Now the question becomes, who shot Austin?  Is it Mason, who isn’t somehow in Pentonville? Is it Cyrus (Jeff Kober), who is one step ahead of Austin? Could it be Nikolas (Adam Huss), who originally was holed up at the house where Austin was secretly keeping him … or, could it somehow be Ava  (Maura West) who wants revenge?

Share your theories and picks in the comment section below on who pulled the trigger on Austin and what you think will happen next!
