GH’s Michael Blake Kruse to Appear on ‘Chicago P.D.’
General Hospital’s Michael Blake Kruse (Rory Cabrera) had some casting news of his own to share on his Instagram account this week.
Kruse’s Rory, who is currently vying for the heart of Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) on the ABC daytime drama series, has also been filming a primetime TV role for the upcoming 10th season of NBC’s Chicago P.D.
In his IG post, Michael shared: “It’s great to be working in the Midwest again with the incredible cast and crew of Chicago PD. So much to love about this city and show. Season 10 premieres on Sept 21st.”
No word yet on what role Kruse will play, but he shared a few pics from the set. (see below)
Michael has previously appeared on series such as Grey’s Anatomy and Criminal Minds to name but a few.

Michael has a lovely family. Hope he has reason to stay at GH.
Seems there is a trend now for soap actors to to take other side jobs. I’m sure it helps their resume. Plus a few more $’s.
Maybe it’s not a side job? There just happens to be an opening at Chicago PD. It’s always possible he could be Halstead’s permanent replacement.
Couldn’t blame him for taking the gig if that were the case. Rory – as he’s written right now – is kind of a boring character… which is why this Devil has been speculating that he’s working another agenda somehow… and probably was planted in the PCPD by one of Sonny’s rival mob families.
If he ends up moving permanently to Chicago, then GH will either have to drop that plot entirely, or change him to his “mob” persona very soon, which will probably mean he would get killed off in the process (as opposed to “being saved by the love of Trina”, which would probably be the outcome if he were sticking around Port Charles for the long term)
Satan…Or Heaven forbid they will put her with Spencer if Rory leaves. Some women tend to have a thing for wanting to save their bad boy boyfriends. So no to Spencer. Still leaves speculation on this story in limbo.

I am thinking the same as you, Satan. Rory’s double persona will be disclosed and he will either be killed or go to prison.
However, ( I detest the new expression, “Having said that”—but that’s another issue) I vehemently protest seeing Spencer and nuTrina as a couple. She is the most lackluster character within this group. She is too much of a straight-laced, prissy , “ I-am-so-perfect” ever!! It’s great to be a good girl ( I am-LOL) , but her “aura” carries this angelic trait too far— makes me want to scream, “ Yeah, right!”
I suspect Trina’s going to go through some sort of minor identity crisis in the near future, most likely when she finds out who her real father is, and has to deal with not only that, but her mother’s concerns that she might inherit some mental health problems from “Grandpa Marshall”. And of course that’s all in addition to what may or may not happen with Rory, if indeed he’s not sticking around much longer. So Trina could be an entirely different person by the time Spencer gets out of the joint…. and he’s going to have to go through a bit of self-assessment himself, given all that’s happened between him & his dad…. and with Ave & Esme.
Who knows…. the two of them might be much more credible together after they’re done clawing back up through their individual mountains of dragonshit.

I love Spencer, and despite his and Trina’s similar life-aches, I just cannot see them together. Between Trina, her mother, Michael and Carly, I don’t know whom to mentally vaporize first.
These people are way too righteous for me to digest.
Carly is the perfect example of “do as I say but not as I do”—hypocrisy at its best.
Methinks Willow will need a transfusion–rare blood-type. “Who you gonna call”? Will Carly be big enough ( pardon the pun) to fess up?

GENERAL HOSPITAL: ‘Sprina’ in New York Part Two: Trina and Spencer Make Love
Friday’s episode of General Hospital brought with it what every Sprina fan has wanted and waited for in what seems like an eternity – a love scene between Trina and Spencer where the fan favorite duo finally find themselves between the sheets.
In story, the New York City romantic adventure continued for Trina (Tabyana Ali) and Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) as the shared an intimate dinner, following the theater. Spencer is happy to see Trina so happy. She thanks him for such a beautiful night, and then tells Spencer she loves him very much.
Spencer can’t believe it’s taken Trina so long to say those three little words. He shares that he knows he is not the most patient person. Trina laughs, and says, “You?”

Next, Spencer tells Trina that he’s loved her since the very first day he met her. Then, Sprina fans received a heartfelt montage of some Spencer and Trina moments from the history of their relationship. Coming out of the flashbacks, Spencer says, “The best is yet to come.”
When the waiter asks Trina and Spencer if they would like dessert, they both decide to skip it, so they can head back to their hotel to be together. Next, upon arriving back to their room, Trina is touched by all the rose petals strewn across the bed that Spencer arranged before they came back to the hotel.

Now, alone together, Spencer and Trina make love for the very first time. Afterwards, they cuddle up and Spencer admits that he’s the happiest when he’s with Trina. They kiss and Sprina fans rejoice!

OLTL and GH Alum Kristen Alderson Reveals Pregnancy
Big baby news! Former One Life to Live and General Hospital star, Kristen Alderson (ex-Starr, ex-Kiki),has announced that she and her fiancé, Taylor Crousore, are expecting their first child together, a baby girl, due in January.
On her Instagram account, Kristen shared pics of her sonogram accompanied by Crousore, which said: “Words can’t describe the happiness😭🙌💖
BABY GIRL CROUSORE! ✨Due January 2024✨ Having a baby with my soulmate/best friend is the biggest blessing I could have ever been given✨💫”
The pic was followed by a video of many of Kristen’s family and friends guessing the gender of her little bundle of joy. Those appearing in the video included: Eddie Alderson (ex-Matthew, OLTL) and Brittany Underwood (ex-Langston, OLTL).

Back in July of this year, Taylor proposed to Kristen and they became officially engaged. Taylor asked Kristen at Pier 84 at Hudson River Park in New York, almost exactly two years after the couple had their first date at the very same spot.

Kristen appeared on One Life to Live from 1998-2012 and next appeared on General Hospital from 2012-2015.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: ‘Sprina’ in New York Part One
Thursday’s episode of General Hospital kicked-off with Trina (Tabyana Ali) and Spencer’s (Nicholas Chavez) adventures in New York City, where finally the fan favorite couple are getting some much needed, and waaaayyyyy overdue, alone time.
In story, Sprina arrive to their hotel room which has, thank God, one bed! Spencer heads out to get some theater tickets, leaving Trina enough time to video call her bff, Josslyn (Eden McCoy), and fill her in on how her first time alone with Spencer is going.
Trina, now in her nightgown, awaits Spencer’s return. When he does, Spencer tells Trina that everything is running on schedule. He won’t divulge what he has planned, but he has a surprise for her. When Spencer asks what Trina wants to see on their trip, she lists all the museums she wants to go to.

After a knock on the door, champagne arrive. Getting flirty and romantic with one another, Spencer calls for a toast to the woman he loves, and Trina toasts to the both of them together.
Spencer realizes he needs to take a quick shower and heads to the bathroom, so they won’t be late for their dinner. Later, we see Spencer in his fine blue suit while Trina is a vision in her fuscia-colored dress.

Overcome, Spencer tells Trina just how beautiful she is, and gifts her with a necklace so she remembers this weekend between them forever. After they kiss again, it’s time for them to head out to dinner. That’s the end of part one of Sprina’s trip to the Big Apple.
