Hearing the news about Ingo’s firing annoys me a lot.. I couldn’t stand Jax sometimes, but this is drawing a line….
He is one of the best actors on the canvas, so why fire him? Get rid of some of the newbies…
I think it sucks!! Wish they would get rid of some others that don’t seem to have half the talent of Ingo. Never minded new people coming on because they either made their way or they didn’t. We could always be assured that the solid actors were there at least until THEY decided it was time to go. Now they are bringing on all these new people and some of our most beloved characters are pushed to the wayside. There is a reason I don’t watch GH anymore. They don’t write like they used to and their is no one… Read more »
They keep Brianna Brown and Ingo has to leave? UNFAIR
It’s all good. Might as well look for something else now that ABC will probably can it anyway. He’ll do fine. He was awesome on that Aaron Spelling show “Titans” back in the day.
I sad to here that Ingo was fired. Despite the there has rumors for weeks. It is still a shock to his castmates and fans. He is one of GH’s best. I only wish him and his family only the best.
I have been a fan of Ingo’s since he first appeared on GH – as the spoiled, rich corporate raider…. Remember when Lois barged into his office and WHAM! Ingo turned around and GH was forever changed, for the better. Yes, at 1st we liked Ingo because he was gorgeous, still is. But he has grown SO much as an actor. I think he is one of the best on the canvas and has been under-used for too long. I hope now that this GH door has closed the new door that opens allows him to live year round in… Read more »
i actually remember that scene with him & lois – i have been a fan of ingo’s since day one & i will truly miss him!
As a 24 year fan of GH this is sad. Iv’e been a huge fan of Jax & Carly. (So much so that I have a cat named Jax & a dog named Carly!) GH higher ups seem to be making a lot of nutty choices lately. Greg Vaughan, Tyler Christopher, and now Ingo. The writers at GH are not what they used to be for certain! They could have gone many way better places with Greg, Tyler, & Jax. I suspect GH is trying to trim the budget down to escape cancellation. FYI GH you cut out boring newbies… Read more »
I REALLY DIDN’T LIKE BRENDA’S STORYLINE. IT WAS BORING AND SO IS JAX. SO GOODBYE TO BOTH. LONG LIVE GH
I can not believe what they are doing to GH
totally disgusted about this. ingo is my favorite actor on the show. he has recently had some great scenes which showed off his talent. GH should have brought his character back to the light-hearted, carefree man that he was with brenda and lois. it sounds to me like they are trying to lose viewers so they have reason to cancel yet another soap. Goodbye ABC daytime!
Extremely disappointed in this event! Jax and Carly are so great and Ingo is so very talented. Big mistake! I think we need to do the same thing we did fot Becky Herbst and get Ingo back!
I am disappointed that Ingo is leaving.. I love watching him everyday & the work between him & Laura Wright.. And Brenda just came back after all those years away, and already she is leaving.. I am very disappointed with GH! I have been a loyal fan for many years. It is getting hard to be faithful with all the changes. But at least I still have Maurice & Steve…
Well… fine then – ship him over to Y & R….maybe he can be one of Colin Atkinsons ‘ henchmen …..now there’s an irony – Ingo playing a mob enforcer.
Since he is Australian- he would be great at Y&R with the Cane storyline!
I love GH and OLTL and all I can say is with everything that has happened lately it is so obvious that ABC does not care about their shows and they REALLY do not care about us… the fans! It is all about money! And I love capitalism.
The way they were shoving Jax under a bus, I’m not surprised. I know Ingo will land on his feet, and I’ll look forward to seeing him on a show not run by a bunch of freaking idiots.
ingo is a vet on this show. if you got to make cuts do it elswhere. if gh is on it’s way out i want to see the vets usher it off the air. ingo should be a part of this show as long as it is conducive for him. i know this is not by his choice. just another example of narrow minded writers and producers.
GH needs to fire Maurice and get this show back to being about the hospital and a total ensemble show!
So true Janice!!!
I think it’s crap. I’m personally sick of the mob storyline and feel that if anyone should go it should be the mob characters. The whole show is going down the tubes and it’s because they have turned GH into a mob soap opera and are gradually getting rid of all of the good characters/actors. Gh just lost another viewer.
I agree. I am beginning to think there is a pyromaniac writing with all the exposions.
All I can say is GH you suck! Ingo will be missed and I for one am done with GH.
I have just about had my fill also. The producers & writers need to get a grip on themselves. I can’t believe the producers are going long with the repeat scenerio that the writers are throwing at us. Jax should have not been let go what is needed is another new set of writers.
Ingo, get out while you can. This show is on its way out. They have systematically made this show about Sonny, Jason and Carly and due to that, there was really never any room for any other character to be the hero or heroine. Jax’s character storyline has taken a very mean-spirited path. And I think that Vanessa Marcil found that out as well. But, the real truth is this love affair with Sonny and his “godlikeness” is what has indeed destroyed this soap. There has never been any accountability by the writing team to balance this character. So hence… Read more »
i feel that was a very bad move on abc and disneys part to let an actor like ingo rademacker get away. they should have just gave him a long vacation until they figured out what to do with him, an not fired him. it’s scary to say and it’s scary to read and it’s scary to hear that some body was actully stupid enough to let talent like that go at all. every since abc merged with disney it’s been down hill, because disney is for kids and soap operas are for adults and disney obviously doesn’t understand or… Read more »
Horrible decision. In fact the recent revisions on the show have startled me. Our beloved characters are behaving strangly, almost like they all of a sudden have different personalities. It’s weird and insulting to us viewers. I watch and I’m often confused on what is going on with the show these days. I DVR this program as I have for years and used to find comfort in settling down at night to watch my “guilty pleasure”. It’s not so comforting any more and that makes me sad!
Sad to see Jax leave. Jerry yes by all means. Please don’t ever bring Jerry back. Who should go is Anthony, Ron, Helena, & Spinelli if his roll is written better.
Another wasted salary would be bringing Franco back. This show used to be about love and family. With all the bad things going on in the world these days we need to have something entertaining to watch that makes us feel warm inside but thrilled in a nice way.
I can’t believe the let him go! He was one of the best actors on the cast and the ONLY reason I continued to watch after Marcil was gone. Once she came back I got others to watch. I really thought they would turn the storyline back to Jax and Brenda getting back together and having a “happily ever after”. Now they get rid of both!!! Bad move on their part. I will not continue to watch.
Bring jax back!!!
Bring Jax back!
