WWE FRIDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN: Jey Uso Turns On Roman Reigns and The Bloodline Crumbles

Courtesy/WWE

The entire WWE universe was waiting for the decision that would re-align the most well-known pro wrestling stable of our time … The Bloodline.

On Friday’s highly-anticipated episode of WWE SmackDown, Jey Uso would let his decision be known. Would he fall in line? Would he stay with The Bloodline and side with cousin, WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns, and his younger brother, Solo Sikoa … or, would he exit the group as his twin brother, Jimmy Uso, already had?

It was great soap opera played out to perfection in the final 15 minutes of the airshow on Fox. Reigns and his wiseman, Paul Heyman, were ready  to confuse and deflect Jey from the issue at hand … Roman’s mistreatment of the Usos.

When Jimmy Uso joined his brother in the ring, Reigns revealed that his twin was keeping him down from ascending in his career, especially when they named Jey “the next in line”.  Roman claimed Jimmy raised major issues with it to The Bloodline. Jey claimed he didn’t know any of that and verbally laid into his brother, and seemingly released years of pent-up frustration.

Reigns explained to Jey, “I was only meant to get us to the promised land. You’re meant to keep us here. Wiseman said we would start grooming you but nah, we’ve been grooming you for three years now! You’re meant to lead. Just not yet.”  He then gave Jey a choice, “You can’t be a Tribal Chief and a twin at the same time.”

Jey told his brother that when Jimmy was hurt, he stepped up and in the process he was ‘Main Event’ Jey Uso multiple times over.

Thenm in the climatic moment, Jey looked at Jimmy and shoutedm “Guess what! You’re out… and I’m out, too!” He then turned around and delivered a superkick to Reigns and The Bloodline as we know it came to an end. The twin brothers also took out Solo Sikoa with a double superkick and Heyman slithered out of the ring,

This was a story three-years in the making, and the fans in attendance in Lexington, Kentucky got the treat of their lives, seeing the implosion of The Bloodline.

From here, it looks like its gotta be to set-up a rematch, three years in the making, between Jey Uso vs. Roman Reigns at some point within the next year. Think about it,  if Jey takes the Universal Championship away from Reigns it would be the ultimate familial drama capper!  In the short turn, will the Usos now face-off against Reigns and Sikoa at SummersSam or Money in the Bank? Stay tuned.

Brilliant in-ring work from Jey Uso snd Roman Reigns, who are two superstars that have made this story go from the very beginning. Watch what happened last night on SmackDown below.

Now let us know, are you glad that Jey defected from The Bloodline? Share your thoughts in the comment section.

WWE SMACKDOWN: LA Knight and John Cena Join Forces for ‘Fastlane’

After having missed last week’s episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown due to Covid-19, LA Knight came roaring back in a spectacular finish to close out the show on the September 29th edition on Fox.

Earlier, Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa of The Bloodline, along with special counsel, Paul Heyman, were all gloat as they announced to the live audience in Sacramento, California, and the viewers at home, that John Cena had travel delays and would not make it to the show.

Last week, Cena signed a contract to wrestle Uso and Sikoa and WWE Fastlane on October 7th and planned to tag team with AJ Styles.  However, The Bloodline took out Styles, leaving Cena without a partner.

Fast forward to last night, Cena finally arrived to the arena and was ready to announce he was going to have to wrestle in a handicap match against Uso and Sikoa, as he doesn’t have a partner.

Next, Sikoa and Uso came to the ring to beat down Cena.  That was until … cue the music … LA Knight appeared and made the save and cleared The Bloodline members from the ring. He then picked up the contract, signed it, making it official that he will team with Cena at Fastlane.

This looks to put Knight in what would be his first main event in the WWE.  Now the questions become; Will Cena and Knight work together and defeat Uso and Sikoa at Fastlane? Will they come apart at the seams, with one of the guys turning heel, setting up a feud for the remainder of Cena’s planned stay over the next few months of WWE programming?

Does putting Knight in a match against Uso and Sikoa raise his stock, so the WWE can put this overwhelming fan favorite in a match against WWE Universal champ and the Head of the Table, Roman Reigns? Maybe as soon as Crown Jewel on November 4th in Saudi Arabia?

Let us know, if you are excited to see Knight and Cena team up against Uso and Sikoa at Fastlane, and what do you think will be the fallout and aftermath from that match for the two fan favorites via the comment section below.
