Often times when current or former soap stars release music videos they are often underwhelming, however yesterday The Young and the Restless Robert Adamson (Noah) released and directed this exceptional music video featuring One Life to Live and Hollywood Heights favorite, Brittany Underwood (Ex-Langston, One Life)!

The song in which Underwood sings is titled, “Flow” and if you look carefully two General Hospital favorites make appearances too!  Kristen Alderson (Starr), who Underwood shared many scenes with on One Life, plus Chad Duell (Michael Corinthos)!

When the music video to “Flow” went viral yesterday, Underwood tweeted, “Thanks for everything Rob, you’re amazing!”And that was followed by, “Wow woke up to so much love for #flow , means so much to me. Y’all keep me going and inspire me everyday so thank YOU! Love you guys! Xo”

Meanwhile Adamson tweeted,  “@britt_underwood You did amazing and you look beautiful. Thank you.”

Now watch the music video after the jump and let us know what you think of it and the catchy tune performed by Underwood!

I’d be a fan of the song…. If i was 14. But i’m not!

agree.

I’m not fourteen and haven’t been in ages, but, I loved the song and the video. Loved her and Cody Longo in Hollywood Heights. Their duet should have been a video. I see her HH BFF Melissa is also in the video – Robert did a fantastic job – all three were awesome in HH.

Not a big fan of this music or as above – I’m not 14!!! But it was nice seeing Brittany & Kristen and I think Robert did a great job putting it together very nice it should get the attention of the younger crowd and I hope it does…

Thought it was real good, and i dont have to be fourteen, like some foolish posters claim they have to be, to enjoy it. Isnt Britanny returning to the OLTL reboot? I thought i read her name on the list of returning stars?

because someone has a different view from yours doesn’t make him/her “foolish.” it does, however, make you judgmental. the song is “cute.” its appeal, in my opinion to which I’m entitled, is to a teen audience. that isn’t a negative thing….I sincerely doubt when they shot the video the target audience was 30s and older. though music can be timeless, literally, there are certain genres that are more bubblegum/teeny-booperish. So to me…it’s a bopper! (and, yes, I just coined that phrase…and I like it!)

The other comments made me feel like i was too old to enjoy it and i like to embrace beautiful music no matter the targeted audience. There are older muscians who appeal to younger audience and vice versa. Maybe foolish was the wrong choice of words because i dont intentionally mean to be too judgemental of others for voicing their own opinion.(i know what that is like because ive had others do it to me) Oh and i like your its a bopper too.

Hey Jim.
No worries. Thanks for replying and liking “bopper!” 🙂

She looks great! The video was nicely done. The song is not my thing. Cute to see KA and CD.

I liked the video and Britanny sounded great. I enjoyed it and I wish her and everyone in the video the best of luck. Robert did a really great job filming it.

Totally agree. Obviously jealous haters posting above can’t even sing a Nursery Rhyme! Go Brittany!

LOVE HER AND I’M 21. I HAVE LOVED HER EVER SINCE SHE PLAYED LANGSTON WILDE ON OLTL. WOULD LOVE TO SEE HER COME BACK IF THE SHOW COMES BACK ON ONLINE. BUT IDK IF IT WILL BECAUSE OF THE DUM LAWSUIT GOING ON BETWEEN PP & ABC. THEY GET THE FANS SO EXCITED BOUT THE REBOOT AND THAN SOMETHING LIKE THIS HAPPENS. AND IT SUCKS FOR THE FANS. WE THE FANS ARE THE ONES THAT LOVE THE SHOW AND WE ARE THE ONES THAT DON’T GET TO WATCH THEM ANYMORE UNLESS THE LAWSUIT GET TAKING CARE OF. BUT LOVE BRITTANY UNDERWOOD AND ALL OF HER OF HER SONGS. I HAVEN’T HEARD ONE OF HER SONGS THAT I DON’T LIKE YET.

I’M HER #1 FAN.:)

On-Air On-Soaps Names The Best and Worst Of 2012!

Courtesy/ABC

What a year 2012 was for soap fans! After trying to cope with the loss of another canceled soap, all types of new daytime programming other than soaps emerging on the daytime landscape, the bad rap that soaps are dying from the mainstream, it’s a wonder everyone did not need two Xanax before they sat down to watch the remaining soaps on the air for fear that at any given moment the networks might levy the boom and cancel those too!

However, what 2012 proved the most is that, say what you will, daytime soaps and the genre is surviving with renewed interest.  In the case of most of our hit list for the year, the performances and creative energy abound, has given the genre its own back-from-the-dead new lease on life!  Once again, On-Air On-Soaps pays tribute to the tremendous work of the talented men and women in front of the camera and behind the scenes, whose tireless efforts in the grind of producing and acting in this genre’s format is more than just respectable!  But of course, in addition to the best moments of the year, there were several not so stellar moments, characters, or storylines that get the dubious honor of some of the “Worst’s” of 2012.

So with that said, On-Air On-Soaps presents our fifth annual Best and Worst of the Year.  As you will read, we try to dissect it all in our annual look back at the year in review. In several categories, it was almost too tight a race to call, and so, we had to call it a “tie”.   In other cases, there were several runner-ups that deserved recognition and those are included, as well.

Now, while we know many of you have your own picks and choices, and may disagree or agree with our picks, we encourage you to let us know your thoughts as well.  And most of all, we want to wish all our soapers a healthy, prosperous, and fantastic New Year!  It is you, the fans, who have willed this daytime industry to continue!

So here we go … after the jump, we reveal the list of the Best and Worst in Soaps 2012! (more…)
