Brody comes close to telling Natalie that John is really Liam’s dad. But before he can do so, Natalie reveals that she told John that she and Brody were together now, that they’re going to be a family with their son. Brody keeps the secret to himself. Vimal is about to spill all to John when Todd interrupts. Vimal is still insistent, though, but John discovers that Ford has abducted Jessica. When he’s gone, Todd offers Vimal a job, and he also threatens him. When John returns, Vimal keeps quiet. Jessica and Ford come to an understanding. Jessica agrees to let him be a father to Ryder. When John arrives to rescue Jessica, she refuses to press charges against Ford. Aubrey and Rama don’t believe that Ford’s sexual prowess made the woman in his room scream that way. They call the police on Ford. Cutter shows up, having been ejected from the Palace. He and Aubrey have it out about Joey and Tess. Aubrey and Rama allow him to crash in their room. Rama misses Vimal.

Shane bursts in on Clint and Viki, blasting him for living while his mother has died. Rex takes him out, after agreeing with his son. Rex explains to Shane his purpose in trading Gigi’s heart for Clint’s money – he wants to get even with Jack and Todd. They prepare to move out of the carriage house and into Asa’s mansion. Meanwhile Jack balks at going to work for Todd, as he starts to feel genuine remorse over Gigi’s death. Blair confronts Todd about getting Jack off the hook and tells Jack he’ll never feel okay about this unless he admits the truth. Jack takes off in Todd’s car. Jack comes to talk to Shane, and they’re face to face. Bo visits Clint and Clint assumes Bo is there about his arrest for the crimes he confessed to. The men make significant eye contact about how Clint stands by his confession of killing Eddie, and Viki realizes Clint is covering for someone. She guesses that it’s Matthew (after Bo is gone) and warns him not to waste his new chance at life by going to jail for a crime he didn’t commit. Matthew struggles to tell Nora that it was Nate who hit him, but instead he has a seizure. The doctor tells Bo and Nora that there’s nothing he can do for him here. Nate tells Rick he may as well not bother blackmailing him and Deanna because Matthew is better and will eventually talk. Rick goes to the hospital and finds out that, in fact, Matthew is having a seizure and is not better. Dani comes upon Nate sharing this news with Deanna and hugging. They argue, leading to Nate blurting: why didn’t you tell me Matthew killed my father? Meanwhile Deanna runs into Rick and he tells her Matthew took a turn for the worst and she better do his porn film. James shares with Deanna his dislike of Baz, as Baz and Starr make music together. Baz is surprisingly good with Hope. James returns to Deanna, bummed that Baz has a way with Hope and he doesn’t, among other things. Dani confronts Destiny about the pregnancy test in her purse. Destiny makes light of it but Dani makes her promise to call if she decides to take it. Destiny takes the test.

Todd finds Jack at the Carriage House and pre-empts his confession to Rex and Shane about his responsibility for Gigi’s death. Todd covers with condolences and comments about Brad’s ostensible guilt. To everyone’s surprise, Rex welcomes the sympathy and suggests, for Gigi’s sake, that they bury the hatchet and move forward peaceably. After Todd and Jack leave, however, Rex tells Shane he was only pretending to let bygones be bygones in order to take Todd and Jack by surprise when he destroys them for what they did to his family. Nate and Dani argue about having kept secrets from each other – Dani’s that she knew Matthew had killed Eddie, and Nate’s that he knew Dani knew. Ultimately, they make up, though Nate keeps one more secret, that he was responsible for Matthew’s condition. Bo and Nora agree to send Matthew to an out-of-town rehab center specializing in traumatic brain injury. Destiny takes a pregnancy test and tells unconscious Matthew she’s pregnant. She’s frightened and confused and when Dani asks about the results, she lies and tells her the test was negative.

When Dorian checks on Clint’s condition, Viki blasts her for having left Clint untreated too long. Their friendship is strained, playing right into Echo’s plan to destroy Viki and Dorian. The other part of Echo’s plan is furthered when David gets a surprise poolside visit from Ionia who once again throws herself at him. Unbeknownst to David, Echo covertly snaps seemingly salacious photos. Dorian returns after Ionia leaves and David chooses not to tell her about the actress’s visit. Dorian finds out, however, when the photos hit the internet. Blair encounters Tomas and is unable to tell him the truth about Jack’s involvement in Gigi’s death. Tomas suspects she’s keeping a secret and she blasts him about all the secrets he’s keeping from her. Their passionate argument turns into to a passionate kiss.

The man with Todd’s original face skulks around Llanfair, nearly making contact with Viki.  At EOD Viki is on the verge of catching him. John questions Vimal about the statement he pulled back from making last night, but Vimal again bites his tongue. Vimal is let go – for now – but with a tail, thanks to John. As a result, John learns that Vimal has gone to work for Todd. Meanwhile, Brody continues to fret about his knowledge that Liam is not his son – and Marty’s taped confession that could out it all. Later, John enlists Brody in a new project: Bringing down Todd, once and for all. Brody signs on. John needs to iron out a few details, chief among them a piece of missing evidence from the investigation into Gigi’s death signed out by Brody: The tape recorder. Jack starts work at the Sun but is distracted by Gigi-related news. Todd tries to keep Jack focused but is taken aback to learn a business plan was undone by the intervention of another company, Origami Cogs. Vimal arrives before Todd can delve deeper into this mystery. Vimal tells Todd about his run-in with John. After sending Jack away Todd demands details from Vimal. Jack returns as Todd and Vimal are discussing a secret Todd is keeping from John. Jack asks Todd about this secret. Blair confronts Téa about her role in Jack’s “exoneration.” Téa and Blair blame themselves for Jack’s behavior, but Todd, too. Together they decide to pay Rex and Shane their respects, but are chilled by the welcome they get. Rex and Shane prepare to receive friends and family at their new home, Asa’s mansion, where they’ll remember Gigi. Roxy is stunned and dismayed to learn of the deal that gave Gigi’s heart to Clint, and Clint’s fortune to Rex. Roxy is further appalled that Rex has fired Nigel.

Echo also takes note of the ruthless shift in Rex but ultimately gives him a pass. Rex intends to make Todd and Jack pay by doing to them what they did to him and Rex: By depriving them of their wife and mother, Téa and Blair. Dorian and David continue to spar over his alleged infidelity with Ionia. Dorian refuses to accompany David while he gives his condolences to Rex and Shane. Left alone, Dorian signs for a package addressed to David, assumed to be from Ionia. At the mansion, David, Viki, Jessica and Natalie visit Rex and Shane. Natalie invites Jessica to talk about Brody later at Llanfair. Echo listens in and revels as David relates to Viki the turn for the worse his marriage has taken. David seeks an ally in Viki, but she is on the outs with Dorian. David returns home only to be confronted by Dorian, wielding the contents of the package: A gun. At Llanfair, Natalie tells Jessica that she and Brody have gotten together.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Brook Lynn and Chase’s Wedding Reception Brings a Beatdown for Dex

On Friday’s, May 17th episode of General Hospital, Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Chase’s (Josh Swickard) wedding reception was the focal point as the touching celebration for the newlyweds got underway.

Sonny (Maurice Benard) was seething over seeing Dex mingle with the guests. With Dex becoming a cop, and ratting him out to Anna, previously Sonny feels betrayed by his former hit man. However, Sonny’s growing paranoia and mental stability is in question, in particular, because he has been off the proper dosage of meds for months now.

Later, when Sonny sees Dex talking with Gio (Giovanni Mazza) about serving in the military, and later chumming it up with Cerullos, he is about to go postal.

Outside the ballroom. Sonny confronts Dex about chatting it up with the Cerullos, who he says are his people. He warns Dex to stay away from his family. Dex says he was invited to the reception.

Next, Sonny calls Dex a snitch, a spy, and lets him know he is “lucky to be breathing.”  Sonny issues Dex a warning to stay away from his family, or he may not be breathing much longer.

As Sonny turns to walk away., Dex grabs him by the arm to try to reason with him and to and say he’s not his enemy. However, Sonny throws a punch. In the pickup, Sonny continues to bloody and beatdown Dex, until Jason (Steve Burton) arrives on the scene and restrains Sonny.

Kristina (Kate Mansi) walks in on the moment. She sees her father is yelling that both Jason and Dex are traitors. Sonny screams that they are both dead and he’s going to put a gun to their heads.

AMERICAN IDOL: Final Three Are Chosen; After Nationwide Vote, Are the Right Singers Going to the Finale?

On Sunday night, the semi-finals of this season’s American Idol were decided on Disney Night, where the contestants had to chose songs from Disney’s songbook which has become a tradition and of branding by ABC/Disney.

As usual, judge and music superstar, Katy Perry got decked out in a Disney get-up and this year dressed as Cinderella in full gown, no less.

The results of the nationwide vote sent two singers home, leaving three for next week’s 22nd overall season finale of ‘Idol’ and the 7th on ABC. It should be noted that we, and many at home, were surprised that some of the song’s chosen were even in Disney movies!

Photo: ABC

Eliminated were: 15-year-old Triston Harper who ended his run with a performance of  Rascal Flatt’s “Life is a Highway.” Also eliminated was Emmy Russell, the granddaughter of country legend, Loretta Lynn. After Russell’s performance of Brandi Carlile’s “Carried Me With You,” she did not have enough votes to move into the finale.

Moving on to the finals are: Jack Blocker, who wowed audiences during two-rounds of performances with “Nobody’s Fool” from Cars 2, and then David Bowie’sSpace Oddity.”

Will Moseley was also safe after his last performance of the night of Steppenwolf’s “Born to Be Wild.” Judges Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie thought it was the perfect sound for his voice, and apparently America thought so too.

Photo: ABC

Finally, Abi Carter, who ended her night with a rendition of Fleetwood Mac’s, The Chain from the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 soundtrack, illustrated her stage presence growth as noted by the judges, when she went full fledged rocker/pop star for this one. Given Carter’s exceptional vocals, and her often more intimate style when accompanying herself on the piano, this performance also lifted her into the finals.

So, did the right singers make it to the finale? Who are you rooting for to be crowned the new American Idol next week? Comment below.

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS: Victor to Jordan: “You’re a Delusional Vicious, Bitch!” But, Is He About to Sic Her on Jack?

On the Friday, May 9th episode of The Young and the Restless, it has became abundantly clear that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is about to take revenge on his arch nemesis, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).

The manner in which he chooses to do so, may be the most heinous in Victor’s long list of masterminding plots. When visiting his prisoner, Jordan (Colleen Zenk) in the dungeon at the Newman ranch, she is trying to persuade him how he can’t let her rot down in the dungeon, in fact, he needs her and she can tell he wants something from her.

Jordan begs him for a hint of what he is planning, but Victor says,“It will be at a time of my choosing.” Jordan says she can help him in whatever he is planning. In fact, she can weaponize fear against someone; just look at what she did to his wife, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott)!

Victor yells at Jordan, “You’re a delusional vicious, bitch!” Jordan laughs and knows he wants her to do his dirty work. Victor says he will let her know when he decides. In the meantime, to torment her and to get her hooked on booze, as payback for getting Nikki back on the bottle, Victor reveals another bottle of vodka for her. He leaves it just in reach and just outside of her cell.

Next, Jordan tells Victor she needs food, not vodka. Victor slaps her hands away, and eventually walks out. Later, in the dungeon, Jordan paces tempted by the bottle, and screams for Victor to let her out of there and to tell her what he wants.

Back at the Newmans, Victor rants to Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Cole (J. Eddie Peck) that the family should stay away from the Abbotts. Victoria senses Victor is about to hatch a vengeful plot on Jack. Victor won’t admit to a thing.

At the Abbotts, Diane (Susan Walters) wants to walk out on Jack, due to his pill popping escapade to save Nikki. She is worried whatever move she makes might send him down the road to taking more pills. Jack swears he won’t do such a thing.  However, he is seems to be losing all the confidence from his entire family, which we can only take to mean he will be left open and vulnerable to whatever plot Victor hatches and uses Jordan to execute. All signs point to attempting to send Jack over the edge and spiraling downward into addiction.

So, what do you think will happen? How will Victor use Jordan to seek revenge on Jack Abbott? Comment below.
