The long-awaited Deveraux son of Jack and Jennifer’s, JJ who was born in 2004, has now been SORAS’d and will add to the young hunk quotient in Salem!

Casey Moss has joined the cast of Days of our Lives as Jack Deveraux Jr., and he will debut on this Friday’s May 3rd episode of the NBC soap.

According to his DAYS co-star Jen Lilly in her tweet revealing the news she related, “Oh snap! My hott co-star joined Twitter! Be sure to follow @1CaseyMoss and watch his first episode of #Days Friday! pic.twitter.com/qt5CXjWYjx

So what do you think? Will Jack Jr. stir up trouble for mom Jennifer (Melissa Reeves)?  Will he have a serious chip on his shoulder now that Jack (Matthew Ashford) is dead?  Will JJ and Jen Lilley’s character have scenes together?  Lots of questions to be answered!  Let us know your thoughts!

Not too impressed with just that pic, but I’ll give him a chance.

He should be in Salem…the town needs more Hortons, and in the Horton home! My friend Jim, once pointed out the Horton clock remains at 7:10! Why dont they change it or is it there as a non working clock for decoration only?

Clocks in general are not used in soaps because scenes and shows are often shot out of sequence making it a nightmare to maintain continuity. Also depending on the soap, scenes are often stopped and redone- so someone would have to change the clock to reflect it. It too much hassle. So this clock is meant to be decoration only, and the face of it has been darken to disguise the time.
The way I look at it is this— it is a family heirloom that is broken, but no one wants to throw it away, so it sits there, but doesn’t work.
The problem isn’t the clock, the problem is the show is so dull people are looking at the background to amuse themselves. I am surprise there isn’t a facebook page devoted to figuring out what the mysterious meaning behind the number 7:10 is LOL.

LOL…my friend Jim also has a clock on his own fireplace he uses for decoration only. He also pointed out the couch with pillows in the time square that never gets dirty…also the offices of Hope, Rafe, Marlena and Jen are the same set which was also used as an examining room. Guess we are really bored! Thanks for the reply!

meant town square…

3/6/2015 he is finEE as hell.just sayn he needs to call me

I thought Abigail or Jen said he was just going by Jack now and not JJ. Glad they finally cast him and looking forward to see what they do with him.

I just love this time of year, the sun is shining, the birds are singing, a troubled youth is returning to Salem– all signs that summer will soon be here, along with the inevitable teen story line. Now I can finally pack up my winter gear and get out my flip flops.

Does Abe have any other family members? This is show becoming too boring for me. I’m glad OLTL & AMC are back.

Abe’s half-brother-in-law, Cameron. But I agree, the show is SO boring!!! I just read the recaps now, don’t even watch it.

Cameron is Abe’s brother-in-law. No half. He was Lexie’s half brother, maybe that’s where you’re confused.

He has another son, Brandon, with Nicole’s mother, Fay. And his MIL Celeste. I’d like them to bring Celeste back, but the original one, not the recast they had when Lexie died.

If you are a preteen then this show my be for you. Enough baby’s as much as I live the show. No John McBain
No more Todd. Just new babies

Glad to see him in town, but we ALL know it’ll be another Dannifer story. However, I’m just relieved it ain’t another darned love triangle that ruins a beloved character. Jack died after that awful triangle. Nicole and Chloe were demonized by it. But heck, at least we have a family member who disapproves instead of worshipping The Glorious St. DanTan. Perhaps Lucas can have more airtime. Let him and JJ team up to split up Dannifer! It would make a funny, interesting storyline!

Sounds good to me.

Really not a fan of teen storylines at all and not looking forward to Jen Lilley on the show since she annoyed me with her shrieking voice on GH.

Love it!!

Is he related to Ron Moss from B&B?

I’m enjoying Days. Not enjoying Dan and Jen, since they are uber boring together.

I so agree! I think Melissa Reeves needs to go! We need an actress to play Jen that can bring some fire like the old Jack and Jennifer days!

I like Melissa Reeves, just don’t pair her with Dan. I am a Jack fan and hate that they killed him off.

Dr. Dan is okay too, just not with Melissa. I think she’s too vanilla for him. Nothing wrong with vanilla, but not for Dan. Maybe Dan and Maxine should hook up! She’d give him a run for his money.

They need to recast that snooze fest Jennifer! Melissa Reeves is just unwatchable!! I loved her when she played younger Jennifer but can’t stand the way she is as a middle age Jennifer. I now fast forward every scene she is in! Anyone else feel this way? I can’t wait to see some new blood though!

Casey Moss was born in 2004? So he’s 9 years old? Please! LOL

JJ was born in 2004….the character, not the actor.

The Jennifer & Daniel coupling is boring as all hell. And, JJ’s resentment is not ramping up the storyline. Jennifer should just become a nun, she is always so holier than thou.

Seriously??? JJ was born in 2004…that makes him 9yrs old, yet they’ve cast a dude that’s twice that age??? C’mon!!

As to a little insight on her new role of Felicity in Salem, Garcia shared. “She is sweet, funny and kind. She is also very smart and she never misses anything. Most of all, she loves her family more than anything else. I think that viewers will love her and see the beauty she brings to everyone in her life.”

The actress added, “I hope that everyone will love Felicity and see that even though she has Down syndrome, she is cherished by her family and friends, she is capable of great things, and she’s a hard worker. I’m pretty sure she bakes better than I do. She is also a typical teenager who has real feelings and fears that people will see as her story goes on. I hope no one underestimates Felicity as a character, or actors with disabilities like me. Representation is so important and I’m so thankful for this opportunity to become Felicity and let you all get to know her, and me!”
