This afternoon, the most heartbreaking moment did not occur on your daytime soap operas, but on today’s episode of the hit CBS Daytime series, The Talk!

During a segment, co-host Aisha Tyler told the ladies of The Talk, something she had kept hidden from them for quite some time while coming into work each day.  As Aisha related the story of her struggles to conceive a child with her husband, tears flowed from Sara Gilbert, Sheryl Underwood, Sharon Osbourne and Julie Chen.

Tyler revealed that after years of saying she didn’t want kids, she had a change of heart and after trying to get pregnant, her and her husband went to a doctor who recommended they try IVF in which Aisha recently underwent.  After going through a lot of procedures and spending a lot of money, Tyler related that she learned from her doctor that her odds of conceiving a child are very minimal and so she decided to stop trying.

Watch the segment with Aisha’s true life story after the jump, and let us know your thoughts!

What a truly courageous woman sharing such a touching moment with the ladies of the panel, audience and viewers. A lot of strength it took to do this. I admire Aisha for becoming so vulnerable and wish her and her husband the best in the future, whether they do choose adoption or not.

oh i am so sorry aisha i will pray for you and your husband god bless your heart sweety

So sad. But kuttos to her for speaking out

Isn’t this “The Soap Buzz” – Sorry not interested in the personal lives of B-List celebrities hosting the show that replaced the QUALITY drama ATWT. We all have tragedies and drama in our lives. I want daytime drama not Kardashian reality drama.

I find it sad that some people care more about soaps than hey do about fellow human bngs.

Beings. Sorry my keys stuck.

Don’t watch talk shows. Why are they being discussed in Soap Buzz? I boycott any talk show that replaced a soap.

This blog discusses all things daytime, INCLUDING talk shows, and Aisha Tyler is a talented, sweet woman. Instead of focusing on your own pity complaints, why don’t you have some compassion for another human being going through one of the worst things a woman can go through?

I am sorry that she can not have her own child but there many children waiting to be adopted into a loving home. If you think not being able to get pregnant is one of the worst things that can happen to a woman then you are living a very sheltered life. She is a very fortunate woman in that she has a good job and can afford to give an adopted child a good life.

Of course there are many children waiting to be adopted, but not being able to carry and birth your own child is very traumatic for women who have a strong desire to have a child. It makes you feel less than what you are, it makes you feel like a failure. It doesn’t matter if there are other options such as adoption or a surrogacy, it is a personal pain that shouldn’t be met with judgement from people like you.

Infertility is a very difficult struggle for many individuals and it only makes it more difficult when people are dismissed with comments about how worse things can happen and how they should just adopt (and other insensitive remarks). 1 in 8 couples (2002 National Survey of Family Growth) struggle with infertility. People can’t “just adopt” because it’s not that simple. I can’t imagine that people really just don’t care. My guess is it is a result of lack exposure and understanding. They just don’t know a lot about infertility or the adoption process. This is why it is so great that Aisha spoke out. I always think it is courageous when people speak about personal issues to make a positive difference in the world. I hope Aisha is able to bring about more awareness about infertility.

If women truly feel the way you say they do then I do feel sorry them. When I start to feel sad about something going on in my life I say to myself “Be grateful always.” I have to say I still don’t “get it” but I believe you. I just didn’t realize that today’s woman would actually feel like a failure. Lesson learned. I suppose people who have had harder lives would just look at this as just something else to overcome. Things are relative to people’s experiences in life.

I share your pain. i went through ivf, it almost killed me/ plz adopt

we r in the process of adopting. Glad u vent
xo xo

Aisha you would be alright.

I went through the exact thing. You are in my prayers

Haley Pullos Receives 90-Day Jail Sentence Following DUI Charge And Wrong-Way Car Crash

Former General Hospital actress, Haley Pullos (ex-Molly Lansing-Davis) is going to be doing time in jail, exactly one-year after her arrest from a hit and run wrong-way car collision.

The crash resulted in bodily harm and damages to the other driver, and now Pullos who pleaded “no contest” to the charges and will serve 90 days in jail. She was taken in custody on Monday, April 29th, after the ruling.

According to Haley’s attorney, Mark Daniel Melnick, the 25-year-old actress struck a plea deal and after her three months in jail will be sentenced on July 29th. As part of that sentencing, she must serve five years probation, 200 hours of community service and pay $8,260 in restitution to Courteney Wilder, the other driver in the crash and her driver’s license is revoked for a year.

According to TMZ, the plea deal for Pullos has the “no contest” to one DUI, while the judge dropped the felony DUI causing bodily injury and misdemeanor hit and run charges.

Melnick said in a statement to PEOPLE, “Haley is very grateful to the court for a minimum sentence and for recognizing her remorse and the strides she has made in her sobriety.”

Pullos had played the daughter of Alexis Davis (played by Nancy Lee Grahn) on the ABC soap opera since 2009, but after her car crash and DUI she was replaced by three different actresses until the show finally settled on the current Molly, Kristen Vaganos.

Back in April 29 of 2023, and at the scene of the crash, the police found edibles and mini-bottles of tequila in Pullos’ vehicle and that she was intoxicated. As it turned out, this was to be the second hit and run in the evening for Pullos who had an earlier collision with another car.

The courts decision follows a year-long legal battle with Haley’s pleas changing throughout it, ranging from “not guilty” to “no contest”. She sought treatment for her drinking at a rehab following the crash.

Nancy Lee Grahn, who portrayed Pullos’ on-screen mom took to X on Monday night, April 29th and shared on the sentence and the specific jail, Haley will be serving time: “As Haley’s TV mom I can tell some truths about her as I’ve loved her since she was little girl. She made a HUGE mistake, knows it, owns it & has spent the last yr doing EVERYTHING imaginable to take responsibility 4 it. It’s not that I oppose jail. It’s that I oppose this jail.” The jail in question by Grahn is the L.A. county jail.

So, what do you think about Haley Pullos serving a 90-days jail sentence, and the other rulings that will be part of her sentencing? Comment below.

Kimberlin Brown Back to The Bold and the Beautiful

As expected, although viewers didn’t know exactly when it would be revealed, on today’s April 29th episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Sheila Carter is found alive and well.

Finn (Tanner Novlan) and Deacon (Sean Kanan) make the discovering that Sheila didn’t actually die; and that it was her plastic surgery makeover lookalike, Sugar, that met her maker. That means, Sheila’s portrayer, Kimberlin Brown, is back on the show and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) killed Sugar in self-defense, not Sheila.

Speaking on what was a shocking return for her, Brown chatted with Deadline about her getting the opportunity to resurrect Sheila one more time and with a new contract to boot.

When asked if she thought B&B’s executive producer and head writer, Brad Bell changed course midstream in the story, Kimberlin expressed, “Either that or he had this in mind all along and just didn’t tell me about it! But I can’t see anybody doing anything that evil, however. That would be a Sheila moment.”

Kimberlin also shared how she first learned she was being let go from the show, recalling, “Brad called me upstairs to talk to me about what he had in mind for Sheila. It was a hard pill for me to swallow. It had been years of playing Sheila, and I consider her my baby, so to speak. And that was definitely not news I was anticipating or hoping to receive.” She added “When I walked into his office, he looked at me and went, ‘We’re killing off your character.’”

As to what the future holds for Sheila, enduring villainess and fan favorite, Kimberlin Brown, shared some intel: “I am happy to say that I have been asked to negotiate another contract.’

So, glad to know that Kimberlin Brown is back as Sheila Carter? What do you think will be Sheila’s next move? Did you believe for a second, maybe two, that Sheila would really be ‘dead-dead’ on the soaps? Comment below.
