GENERAL HOSPITAL: Just Who Is Kristina's Professor? Jordan Warns Curtis To Keep Their Secret, Jason Is Ready To Regain His Memory!

There are clearly some secrets going down on General Hospital! On Monday’s episode of the ABC soap opera, Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) get a call from her professor, “Parker”.  Kristina threatens “Parker” that if the harrassment continues, she will tell-all to “Parker’s” wife!

Looks like Jordan Ashford (Vinessa Antoine) is doing everything she can to keep TJ (Tequan Richmond) from knowing the key truth about his life.  When TJ sees his mom talking to his Uncle Curtis (Donnell Turner) he is thrilled to see him, but Jordan has previously asked Curtis why he hasn’t left Port Charles as of yet.  Later, Curtis apologizes to TJ for not being there when his “father” died.  Jordan warns Curtis not to hurt TJ, or tell him the truth.

Jason (Billy Miller) has finally come to the conclusion that he wants to regain his memory and admits that to Sam (Kelly Monaco).  He feels he wants to know his life before his amensia, even if it means getting help from doctors, going under hypnosis, or whatever.  Jason  feels it’s not fair what he has done to Sam and others in his life, and admits now he is ready to dig deep, and try to uncover who he truly  is.

So, who is this Professor “Parker” that Kristina is being blackmailed by”?  Will Curtis and Jordan be able to continue to lie to TJ?  Are you glad that Jason is finally going to attempt to regain his memory? Share your thoughts in the comment section below!

I do not care who he is, there is no drama..
It could be George Clooney and still be written lifeless..
I keep FF looking for some excitement, drama, suspense and all I find is really stupid stuff..

I want some high impact drama!!

Same here, su……soooo stale!!

Oh God, dare I say it?
Yes, I agree with Suoo–who the freak cares?
I am so bored with Alexis and her girls.

Stop the presses… Harry, agrees with Su0000..
Don’t worry Harry, this too shall pass…

And I agree with Harry!!!!

i hope the “secret” is more than just the fact that professor parker is a female professor. if that’s all it is…

Oh, Oh, Oh, GB…I love that!!!
Would that mean that Kristina is bi-sexual? If the professor is, indeed, a woman….why, that would be sensational, in more ways than one. I would love that storyline. GH needs some jostling. ….t’would be soooo jarring, and enticing!!
So, if that would be the premise, Kristina wants to keep this revelation undisclosed. Tit for tat? If you tell on me I’ll tell on you ( the wife), sort of deal?

Love that twist! You should write for GH.

Thank you dearest Melissa. Coming from you; it certainly means a lot.

Yikes—I never even came close to thinking that but it sure is a doozy!!! I hope you’re right because this would give the key players that are in Kristina’s story some serious scenes to chew on when the big reveal comes out and we all know it eventually does.

Whoaaa….Calm down there, CeeCeeGirl! LOL….

Go Patriots? They are gone!

Professor Bundchen!

I had no idea Giselle moonlighted as a professor…HaHa!!!! Gotcha, my love!!
Go Patriots!!

OH yeah? Tell that to my husband, Timmmbo. Patriots gone?????

Yes I agree Melissa…GB’s twist would be interesting…Perhaps GB…they’ll read your comment. Though it seems you’re not that taken with the idea you may have generated a future interesting storyline…

i have no problem with kristina being bisexual. my problem is that i feel that the discovery that Parker is a woman – and i have a really strong hunch that this is where this story is going – in and of itself is not enough of a story. a twist does not a story make. if that’s all there is, it’s pretty thin. i’ll gladly be proven wrong, but my feeling is that the writers feel that that alone is a story. we need way more than that for it to be compelling storytelling

Hi GB…yes, I understand you were saying Christina was probably having an affair with her female professor…and that that alone wasn’t too much of an interesting story to you. I think that, unless it’s been leaked on another site, that was an idea you originated. That in and of itself I find interesting…never even thought of it.

From my recollection on GH they haven’t ventured into female same sex or bi-sexual relationships, so that would be a first. We of course have gay couples that are traditionally men on soaps…or from my viewing experience.

If they go there, and if so expand upon it, it could be interesting. And moreso as you say if it involves a plot beyond that.

GB, I need to ask, did you mean that the professor, who may be female, knows of ‘a secret’, regarding Kristina? A secret which could be anything, really…you could have meant even cheating on exams. I took it upon myself to elaborate on your premise of a female professor having an affair with her female student. I did not get the impression that was what you meant. In no way did I presume to steal your idea, if you were thinking the same thing. I merely elaborated on your suggestion that the teacher was female. You did not mention an affair. The bi-sexual part was from my very fertile imagination.
If we both thought the same thing, then more power to us. But, if you think I took your idea and ran with it, I apologize, albeit homosexuality is not what I took away from your post. I hope my explanation makes sense. Good night, GB.

no-no. i was simply suggesting in my very first comment that the writers think that kristina offering to have sex with a female professor, which i really feel is is what’s happening here (they’ve never said “he” – have you noticed?) is juicy and shocking enough. it isn’t. it wasn’t directed at you.

Oh, I know that, GB. And, I thank you for that. I read your posts, and I can see you always speak fairly and kindly. I am glad we are on the same page. I always suspected an affair….I had said so a while ago; but, we both, firstly, assumed it was a man……we still don’t know if what we think is true. So, when you mentioned a woman professor; I took it one step further.
Needless to say, someone on these posts will naysay or throw unnecessary aspersions my way. I am used to it. I take it for what it’s worth and consider the source. All I can do is laugh at the obvious.
I must say, blackmail is not so far-fetched, right, GB? I think a storyline about an illicit lesbian-affair would turn Port Charles and its oh-so-primly-polished (HA) citizens on their heads.
Thank you, again, for taking the time to reply. I feel better. Later.

I feel bad for Billy Miller. Can they write Jason any more boring?

I assumed nuJason was going to be in limbo until Stevie B was ready to return, at which point the audience discovers nuJason is really AJ, another plot twist orchestrated by Dr Monica Q…clever cousin she is.

Great twist but Burton is in heaven over on Y&R!

I hear ya! Doesn’t help that low talker doesn’t add anything to these scenes. Sam may as well hand Jason over to Liz the way she keeps telling him to find his way! This story is not exciting at all, in FACT, the only story holding my interest at all is Dante & lulu and that ain’t saying much!

It’s been a year. Feels like twelve…. God the writing is painfully slow

it’s not even worth posting about, anymore

I don’t know what the head writing team has up it’s sleeve

nothing worth noting ; as of late; that’s for sure

at least for the camera… the chemistry does not lie! Billy Miller is so much more enticing and drawn to Rebecca Herbst’ Liz

case in point… LOUD Carly… is at the Metro Court with Sam… as she brings a cake out for Jason to celebrate his birthday

LOL… Carly gets all bent out of shape…. loudly TELLING Jason to relax and be himself !

I would be livid and tell her to shove it… who needs her

lo and behold… Jason has a memory… with snore Sam

I was pissed that she had the gall to tell Liz, in her own house… that she’s once again lying to Jason

Jason doesn’t even come to Liz defense but doesn’t outright tell Liz she’s lying either

blech! who really cares

LOL… Carly actually has the cajones to tell Ava… that she and Sonny would like to keep Avery for a weekend… ??? rofl Kiki needs to butt out…

Morgan is still working on the right dosage… just to shut up Carly and Sonny

Michael and Dante are both lovelorning with love god guru Soony Cajones Corinthos’

Sonny is wheelchaired in to the boxing gym… and he starts right in asking his sons about their love life’

is Kristina embarrassed to be the daughter of a mobster… or a lesbian… she failed all her classes (LOL) expect her pre law course…. ???? happy days with Alexis ? ugh!

Ava… keep Avery far away from the Corinthos’

Patrick, I wouldnt let Avery near EITHER of the families! I would let Alice over at the Q’s raise her!

Why would this professor “Parker” be blackmailing a college student?
to what end… He seems to have more too lose than Kristina, with a
marriage and career on the line. Kristina’s cattiness with Molly is uncalled
for, considering the position she’s put herself in..

Good question, my lovely, Fanny. One that didn’t even cross my mind….it should have, though, since it is the crux of the story, at this point.
We do think alike in that, Kristina is a real B with Molly. A bientot!

My guess is perhaps he is writing a tell all book about the mob and wants her to give him dirt of her father Sonny. I remember at Christmas she seemed so interested in his past and taking all kinds of photos. So he could be saying to her get me this information and I won’t tell your parents why you got kicked out school. If not a novel then he wants intel on her mob family for some reason-

That’s a good assumption, Mary. I like that, too.

Well, the new writers have to get something new going…so good for them. I will keep watching. Love the, what i assume, was a joint Tracy and Larry were sharing, good for that brave step forward ! and love seeing Laura anytime she is on the screen.

I really liked Tracy and Larry, too. Just the kind of guy to keep Tracy on her toes. On the other hand, she doesn’t need another questionable guy in her life. But then where’s the drama? However it’s hard for me to believe Larry is at the resort just to find himself.

I agree. I do not find this as a coincidence either, Rose. There must be more to it than that. Perhaps, Larry has been keeping tabs on Tracy….it could very well be that he knew she’d be there….We’ll soon find out. He could even be working with/for Paul.
Larry seems too conciliatory, almost sheepish. So profane to me. Everything about him gives me the heebie jeebies. I do hope Tracy will not catapult into whatever trap he has laid out.

Parker knows Kristina had a baby by Johnny Z and is blackmailing her…Curtis is really TJs father-not Sean,…what if Jason regains his memory…will little Jake who is a clone-the real Jake is dead and under Helene’s mind control prevent Jason from regaining his memory-why isnt Monica around ?

What????? Kristina had a baby?????? Johnny’s, no less?????? I had no idea, Jimmy. I like the bi-sexual premise much better….LOL, my friend.

Im just joking around…lol…but i wonder what Sonny and Carly would think if she did have Johnnys kid but the bi-sexual part would be a nice twist.

I didn’t remember Christina had a baby with Johnny Z. Where is the baby now?

If they had a kid it would be off camera but im just kidding(pun) around with my comments…lol

First I must say, when Kristina and Molly hugged Alexis together on Monday’s show I was really blown away by how much they do look like mother and daughters! Secondly, I think Parker is Hayden’s ex-husband or Still her husband!

I FF right through any of the Ashford crap!

AND I almost FF through the Jason crap! It is too late to really care. Billy Miller walked around too long in a haze and now HE even looks bored with playing the role! Unless there is a major twist coming in February, MOVE ON!

JaSNOOZEn has become boring…GH is lucky to have Billy Miller but for how long?…a twist IS needed soon…the show lacks excitement!!!

Lol Jim! I hope little Jakey goes on a killing spree and starts with Hayden.

Ces…i hope so too…lol

LOL, Ces! I wouldn’t mind lil Jake unleashing his Cassadine brainwashed self on Hayden. Could be fun!

The Jason thing just drags on and on and on. How sorry is Billy Miller that he joined GH? So now he knows the truth. And now we have to wait forever and a day for him to get his memories back. And the we’ll wait another year for him to decide which “Jason” he wants to be — Jason Q or Jason Morgan. Pointless. Boring. Let’s move on.

Gee, Jimmy….I was just about to write that Curtis was TJ’s dad….but , then, I thought that why would Curtis refer to TJ as “my brother’s kid” or something in those words? Nonetheless, everything is possible. Whatever it is, I am just not interested. Just like the Jason story ……does not interest me any longer. I am so disappointed in what has been done to Billy…my Billy, my hero!! It’s a bitter pill to swallow! For shame. Coupled with Sam? That’s even worse. They have joined the club as the most boring couple on soaps……EVER!!!!!

Curtis isnt-if TJs real father-about to blurt out ‘my son’ at the moment…soaps like to drag those things out..maybe Curtis had an affair with Jordan and accidentally killed the man who TJ thought was his father during a fight over the affair-Sean is his real father i thought….but like you im not interested…JaSNOOZENs story bores me and Billy Miller acts like it bores him too-the writers need to do something more interesting with Jason or GH could loose BM…i only watch once in awhile…with so few soaps left its hard to let go…hope there is a turnaround soon.

Forgot..disturbed little Jake attempts to kill Sam…ok…joking again…lol

I agree, Timmm….except for one thing. Molly is so beautiful, she leaves me breathless. Remember, my Timmm; a woman is the best judge of another woman’s beauty. Alexis is also a very pretty woman……Kristina? I would not necessarily classify her as a pretty woman. She is average. The dark hair…..their stature….all three petite….give the illusion of similarity. The other girl who played Kristina fit right in. This Kristina also has a bad disposition; very cruel and catty. She is a young woman who strikes me as having lived a promiscuous life and the haggard results transmit through her eyes and belligerent behavior. Such subterfuge. Later.

Oh wise Cee, you are right, Molly has blossomed into a sweetie pie! Oh I know all about women and if you are heading out and you THINK you look good, it only takes ONE glance of jealousy and your confidence can be crushed by a “Fellow Feline!” Ha, ha, ha! Kristina #2, the Latino looking actress was beautiful! I do prefer her to this Kristina.

Oh, my Timmmbo. Beauty is not only measured by looks; attitude is soooo elemental. Without a smashing personality; smarts, what is left? I heard from a friend some wise words from Judge Judy: ” Beauty fades, but stupid is forever”. HaHa.
I love Molly’s lady-like, subdued personality. And, I know a thing or two about envious women. I KNOW!!! And, too bad some women feel that way, because each one of us has something beautiful within ourselves to offer. A woman with true beauty and sex appeal, doesn’t even realize she is in possession of said attributes. That’s the ‘beauty’ of it. OOOOLALA and LOL. Luv-ya.

They say Beauty is only skin deep BUT who wants to see blood and guts! TIMMMM 1-27-2016 No I get where your coming from. There are lots of pretty women and handsome guys that are empty inside and how long can you survive on looks alone? Depth darling. [Not Johnny Depth!]

@CeeCee….I’ve already posited the notion that Molly was switched at birth….which means somewhere out there a really nice, normal couple have that real Alexis/Ric-issued hellion, and they are wondering where did we go wrong as parents and what did we do to deserve this demon seed of a daughter?????

HaH! Shaybelle!
How juicy! I looove that storyline. Imagine that! An ordinary, prim and proper, church-going couple having reared a she-devil-on-wheels! Ha. Later, babes.

Ah, my poetic CeeCee….Lord Byron! Beautiful, just beautiful, but may I be so bold as to suggest that passage is even more befitting of the fair Anna? She is just so lovely and ethereal in that timeless sort of way, that as soon as I read your words, they conjured her image in my mind!

Buongiorno, carissima:
Only Byron can turn a word so melodically. Yet, he can also be so very incendiary with said word. THE DESTRUCTION OF SENNACHERIB attests to his cataclystic, tortured soul……(one of my favorite poems. I also love all of Robert Frost’s poetry; especially MENDING WALLS).
You have described Anna to the letter….ethereal, gracious and ageless/timeless. I said this before:….picture her with golden/auburn hair; that’s my mommy. A perfect mixture of Scottish and Icelandic traits, with a little bit of that Irish spark.
Off to Nico’s school…..being “class Mom” is a big responsibility….later, my love.

Ahhh yes, Timmm, the Port Charles version of “KUWTK!” I only hope Molly stays away from the “dark side!” She reminds me of the way the Jenner girls looked and behaved before they began emulating their older sibs’ outlandish appearances and antics…would be nice to see Miss Lansing stick to her good girl persona. I’d also like to see her find an exciting new guy at college….maybe a British Oxbridge-type exchange student?

Sweet, sweet Shay, good to hear from you! How in the hell did Molly turn out to be so innocent when Alexis is full of lust and Molly’s dad is Ric? Dont get me started on those Jenner girls!

Hi, my Shay!!!!!!!
There you are….
I have the perfect, most fitting words for Molly…..” She walks in beauty, Like the night….” (Byron)
Later, bella.

@Shay… My goodness I’ve said it dozens of times myself..
Anna walks in beauty… Thank you, Lord Byron & Sweet Cee.
She is also graceful, compassionate and undeniably stylish…
From what I’ve read Finola wears her own threads…no wonder!

Oh, Shay….I forgot to point out that when we take the meaning behind THE DESTRUCTION OF SENNACHERIB, we can very well apply it throughout the ages. Without getting too political, the wolf is perpetually in our backyard; watching, lurking and waiting.
This is what makes Byron one of the greats, EVER. His message, with every phrase he created, is eternal. We even see it in Port Charles…lol…
Ok, then…getting too philosophical here…lol…a piu’ tardi, amore.

@Timmm….I’m sorry I directed my “Molly switched at birth comments” to CeeCee… I quickly perused your remarks, I mixed them up, and thought she was the one who made reference to Miss Molly’s sweet nature. My bad….

I’ll admit I was worried about Billy taking over as Jason. I always thought I was just in love with Steve as Jason. But the longer Billy is in the role and the more they dig into Jasam the more I realize that I just love the character! And Billy is doing a really great job bringing his version of Jason to life. Just really loving this story and I find myself wishing Jason and Sam had more airtime. Although I know lots of people are over the Jasam and Carson show.

I agree StinaPop!

Hmmmm! Unless the basic theme of soaps has drastically changed, I would say Parker is one of Kristina’s professors with whom she has had an affair? Could it be they were both kicked off campus? Perhaps he is not ready to give up the relationship and ; thus, the harassing phone calls. Whatever it is, the story is not grabbing me. I have no vested interest in this little viper….just by the way she talks to Molly (whom I love….gorgeous, easy-going kid….and, I liked the other Kristina better). What throws me for a loop is how Alexis cannot read her own daughter. I mean, the woman should visit earth once in a while…get off the Julian planet and see what’s right in front of her eyes. I can understand how both Sam and Molly feel about keeping this secret from their mother…….I get what it’s like not to betray your siblings……but this is their sister’s livelihood….her future; they should step up and tell Alexis what has been going on. Alexis is too blinded by love to see two feet in front of her. So, the sisters should take the reins.

This newborn storyline about Jordan, Curtis and TJ should be kept in its infancy, and then obliterated altogether…..only my opinion. Not interested. What could it possibly be? Curtis and his brother were involved in a life of crime? Served time in jail? Thomas senior was a bad hombre? By the way, I cannot recall if TJ knows that Shawn is his father? Could that have something to do with it? Whatever! This is not adding any suspense; any extraordinarily meaty mouthfuls to Jordan’s stillborn story. ….thing is, i do like Jordan a lot. I like her personality, I like her sincere friendship with Anna. Why can’t the PTB develop the Anna/Scorpio/Mac-bring-Paul-down storyline, elevating Jordan’s honed instincts as a law-person?

@CeeCee, My Sweet… I sincerely hope the writers get one story right..
Which would be Anna & Robert apprehending Carlos, him copping a plea
by rolling over on Julian for ordering Dukes murder. Next scene up…..
Alexis walking towards her groom (in church of course) as Anna & Co.
Barge in, arrest & haul Julian away… Alexis would be up in arms, until
she’s givin indisputable proof by Robert as well as Anna that Carlos
acted out on Julian’s orders. Finally accepting… He’d been lying to her
from day one.

P.S. Let’s hope TPTB realize February “SWEEPS” means more than
ratings..for GH in particular, house cleaning is essential for it’s survival.
Get rid of the “DRIFTWOOD” as my sister calls these unnecessary,
unharbored characters with no skin in the game. Bring back characters
who move us and WRITERS that challenge and surprise us…

That would certainly be sheer perfection, my lady. I would derive the greatest satisfaction to see Alexis’s face fall, as it were, and Julian in solitary confinement where he, Paul, Ava, Carlos and Sonny belong. Death would be too kind for these outlaws.
But, the real gratification would be that Anna’s methodical effort, patience and determination paid off. She would have made her ‘conquest’. Later.

@CeeCee… I can see them all behind bars including Shaun & Johnny,
diligently working together to break out of jail. And a new soap is born
PC MOB. Have a lovely day Sweetheart!

PC MOB….very good and so a’ propos. I mean, that’s more fitting for GH….there’s nothing left!! One way or another, everyone is ‘connected’. You enjoy your evening, as well, Fanny-love.

Thank you so very much, my felicitous Fanny! The subtitles suggestion was partly practical and partly in jest….I’m so accustomed to watching foreign programs containing them, that the idea really was a no-brainer!

@Fanny….”Driftwood”….I love it!….’Twould be the perfect name for a new GH-based web series featuring all those unwanted characters that currently have no suitable place on the canvas…they could be shown wandering aimlessly around Port Charles just looking for a purpose….

@Fanny….I wouldn’t doubt your assertion that Finola brings her own wardrobe to Anna’s closet….the line and fit of her attire are so impeccable, not to mention beyond classy and sophisticated…they suit her to a “t!”! Quite frankly, it’s long been my belief that any of the senior actresses on GH generally have approval over what they wear….and could choose to supplement their choices with personal garments, if they should so desire. Both Helena and Madeline have also worn very appropriate and flattering garb for their frames and characters, as well, so perhaps some of their items were personal, too. When you think about it, one of the main ingredients in presenting a character is how they dress, so clothing is truly a very integral component in one’s dramatic interpretation of an acting role….I realize that budget constraints are a very real concern on this show, but sometimes the fashions are just so sad….for any actress to go the extra mile and dress herself at her own expense just shows their dedication to their character and profession! (Plus, there should be some tax benefits available for doing so…..) At any rate, I would definitely give Anna the prize for “Best Dressed” in Port Charles! (Although I have to say, I absolutely love that black coat that Carly wears…it’s both contemporary and classic!)

The worst part of GH is how long they drag a story out. It is so frustrating, especially with the Jason storyline. Let him get his memories back and move on!! With the dragging out of stories, you only have to watch like 1/week. I recently started watching Y&R (because of Michael E Knight), and it is AMAZING how quickly they move a story. You miss one day on Y&R and you miss a lot. Sadly, not with GH, my heart lies with ABC soaps (oops, no plural – only one soap now), but I am quickly becoming too frustrated.

Sorry but I disagree about Y&R. I think they, too, drag stories out way too long, i.e. the Adam reveal, baby Christian switch, etc. To me GH is a much more interesting show despite the dragged out s/l’s.

I don’t have a long history with Y&R, just recently started watching, so I can’t dispute the Adam reveal. But, I am amazed at how quickly the kidnapping was resolved, and the larger story is being revealed, Billy’s coma wasn’t dragged out, etc. I just think a lot happens in a single episode. Although, I believe this to be true, my heart still lies with GH. I just wish it would pick up the pace.

I just started watching Y&R because of Jason Thompson. Was impressed by how quickly they moved the Adam kidnapping plot. If it were GH we would only now be discovering that Adam’s missing.

Your right. Fist they let Marisa go really quick and then Adam is let go really quick. Either they botched something or they decided to move fast since sweeps is in a week?

Welcome. Its funny because it used to be the opposite where GH would set a nice pace and Y&R would drag on forever! EP’s and head writers are so important!

Y&R dragged on forever because Jean & Shelly were its head-writers..
Now, they are doing it to GH..
It is the way they write, their style..
As I said; The Queens of Snooze ..

GH feels like a soap opera again instead of a cartoon comic strip.

Loving the mysterious suspenseful storylines the new writers continue to set up. Kristina’s secret….Hayden’s identity….Jake’s drawings….and Curtis’ background. I am enjoying the Crimson story with Nina/Maxie/Julian and the new crime fighting team of Anna/Robert/Andre.

Is their any rhyme or reason to any of these stories right now? I thought RC was the problem and once the recycled writers came on well everything was suppose to be fantastic. How many more scenes are we going to have with Carly and Sam putting knives in Liz’s back please move on from that and the child who plays little Jake is not strong enough actor for the story they are giving him. If Billy Miller looks bored it is probably because his style of acting the charming playboy never did fit with the role of Jason Morgan. I was embarrassed for the writers with the scene last week with Olivia please a contrived story about breast feeding to get Olivia in Julian’s world.

Hi k/kay. As we all know, Billy Miller is an actor. Whether he played a charming playboy or an aging woman…he’s acting! LOL…I understand we all get used to our soap actors playing a role and identify him or her as such…but new soap, new character. He’s playing his Jason Morgan role well ie., confused, lost, betrayed, searching, struggling. A bit forlorn…emotionally wounded. Yet, strong. His ‘style’ as you say SHOULD change with each role. I bet he’d be bored if he was always cast as a Billy Abbott type. His mellow almost brooding character is what Jason Morgan calls for…Who knows how the character’s personality will develop once he finds himself and begins his life anew…

As for the child actor playinig lil Jake, once again we differ in our opinion. He’s just the right amount of strange and detached, as he’s supposed to be. He was kidnapped and raised by Helena! He’s not going to be a smart alecky adorable kid ala Spencer, a beautiful, sweet cutie ala Emma…the inquisitive but loving little Cameron. He’s damaged. Time will tell where he too goes…

A one note please and the kid who plays littleJake can’t handle this storyline I have a brother and sisterthat are drama coaches they know their business they are way beyond their pay grade

I keep hoping… that the original ( lil’ Jake)

came back to the show… at an awkward stage in his life

he’s going through that awkward pre teen stage?

argh! I think like so many on these shows… he’s downright adorable

he should never have left… and now that the lights camera action are all over him… after 4-5 years from the show… may have him being shy, unsure, and timid

I really do like his bond with ; Liz ; Jason ; and … Franco

LOL… I want him to cause mayhem and wreak havoc on Sam…. .I’ll go their.
disfigure her!

I keep hoping that ” lil’ Jake ” will snap out of it… and get his groove back

Ouch Patrick! No to the disfigure…lol.

However, I wouldn’t mind as was suggested above lil Jake unleashing some havoc on Hayden!

Sadly, this soap is in such bad shape, if they cancelled now I wouldnt have any lingering questions because they have no answers!

hey Timmm..
I’m gonna get a stun gun to keep me awake, my friends, we have a plan, to shock each other during GH to stay awake..
This crap is not GH, it is killing GH, this horribly written love in the afternoon, is not GH nor should it ever be GH..
GH is high drama, adventure, suspenseful storytelling and not this pile if tranquilizers..

Timmm and su0000, I’m right there with both of you.

Oh, su… come up with the weirdest but most hilarious expressions!! Oh my gosh, it must be so much fun sitting there, buzzing each other with stun guns. I cannot disagree with you, though.
We need a little bit of Nina. I’m always happy to see her….never boring!!

su0000 be do be do! Your funny AND correct! Your forewarned all of us about the “Snooze Sisters” I think was your name for the new writers? They are falling into a “Music Box” haze, if you will! I was willing to give them a chance but I dont see a lot of positive changes? I dont see romance or characters that focus on the hospital. I agree with you, I miss the humor and the twists. Although having Larry Ashton pop up the other day was a surprise. He and Tracy are gold together BUT you have to keep him around! These vets pop in and then out and all we see is Liz, Sam and Jason! Three great characters but its like their dialogue and their stories are stuck in quicksand! I will give credit to Jean and Shelly for writing the Drake send off. And when Mac and Robert were chatting at the bar, that was good. BUT, the show airs FIVE days a week! You have to do better than that or people will walk away!

Have to agree. Nothing about yesterday’s show makes me want to watch today’s episode. Boring!! Billy Miller has been completely wasted and appears to be sleepwalking through his scenes.

I love Billy, Ces. I wish I could understand what he is saying, half the time. Between him and Sam, I need a translator.

Perhaps a few well-placed subtitles would not go amiss?????

Hearing aids for Kelly. I don’t recall her whispering all the time but it’s annoying. She could take a lesson from Jane Elliot who shouts most her lines but at least I can hear her!

Oh, no, Daddy-o !! Please ( speaking sotto voce) don’t even think the eord ‘cancelled’. The word makes me ‘shivah’. Lol. I don’t care how bad; how boring; or how annoying our remaining soaps get, I want them to go on forever, my Timmm. What will we for without them?

Correction….don’t even think of the word….

I’m with you darling, I would watch Sabrina knit socks for her new doll baby before I would EVER tune out! I am a rating point til the end! It cracks me up when “Fans” threaten to quit watching a show when one of their favorites leaves! Their choice but I think its stupid! As you know I was a big fan of Luke but I didnt “Retire” when he did and the show still exists without him! TCB baby!

Maybe you are on to something there, Timmm! Whilst GH has been my first, last and always favorite soap, its currently schizophrenic mix of urban crime drama and telenovela, with just a merely glancing nod to its traditional trademark romance and adventure, leaves me so wanting….the prevailing feeling seems to be “is that all there is?” Ever since the 50th anniversary year commenced, such has been the case, and I have hoped, and hoped, and hoped some more (in vain) for the show to recapture its former glory and for someone—anyone(!)—to make GH great again. Alas, that hasn’t happened, and in all realistic likelihood, it quite regrettably never will. Hence I’ve come to the inescapable conclusion that perhaps it is time for this once-venerable daytime institution to finally close its doors and reach a dignified end….bow out gracefully, so to speak, instead of sadly limping along and lingering on what is clearly inadequate life-support efforts.

In other words, its at its NINTH life!

@Shay, Your so funny…. I’ve heard myself say once toooo often,
What is he saying? What’s he mumbling about? Honestly.. I
rewind as much as I watch. When I finally figure it out, I realize
there was nothing worth hearing.
So nice to see your name posted Shay, have a great day!

Hey, Timmster!!!!…..A basketful of kitties to you for that above notion! LOL….Having said that, my problem is not with those actors who leave….although the Easton thing really frosted me, but with the non-stop introduction of new characters. I swear some days, I look at the show and think who are all these d@#n people, and why on earth should/would I care about them??? That’s what turns me off and makes me tune out….can’t help it!

Fiiiiiiiiiiiiiissssssssss! Thats the nail on the head my purrrrfect poster! Why do we care about all these newbies!!!! Give me Anna with a side of Robert and a dash of Mac!

Oh, I hear you about Robert and Anna, Timmm! They are sheer purrrrfection together….just riveting! I so want them to reunite as a couple…..Finola simply sparkles in Tristan’s presence….the palpable chemistry which emanates from their many years of shared history is just so obvious….you can see it and feel it….it’s totally undeniable! We truly need “Mr. Rogers” in our Port Charles neighborhood on a permanent basis!

I agree Shay but it looks like Mr. Rogers neighborhood is going to be Genoa City again soon and we are stuck with Daniel the TIGERRRRRR!

Who the freak is YANK? But I digress, I liked Brad and was hoping they would revisit the Asian Quarter or I guess with inflation it would be the Asian Dollar!!! Yeah, remember when Michael went to the “Five Families” meeting in place of Sonny and there was an Asian women at the meeting? I thought she was the key or connection to revisiting that story from the 80’s. By the way, where is Bradley and his “Wife?” I cannot even remember her name. She must work 24-7-365 at ELQ? Later MYeow friend!

@Timmm….Who is Yank? And you call yourself a GH fan? (Just kidding….) That would be Dr. Yank Se Chung, grandson of the Ancient One and staff medic at the hospital when they actually had more than one or two physicians at any given time! He was part of the Asian Quarter storyline, along with Nurse Jade Soong, granddaughter of crime lord Mr. Wu, patriarch of the Chinese clan still mentioned as one of the “Five Families,” and related to Brad. (His bio-dad was Jade’s late brother, Kim Soong…) In essence, Jade and Yank were the “Romeo and Juliet” of the time, because they grew up on opposing sides in the Chinatown struggle of good vs. evil, but both were decent people and just wanted to work at GH and date one another. (By the way, Tia Carrere was Jade! At any rate, they eventually left town and married….When Brad’s link to them first came up, I had hoped this cute couple had been in witness protection as “Mr. and Mrs. Cooper,” where they’d brought up their nephew Brad as their own son…and that they would return for a visit!) As for said Mr. Cooper and his MIA spouse? When we are blessed enough to be spared of even one annoying newbie, I don’t ask questions, just thank the Lord! If only there were more of them who could join Rosie in the “mysterious wherever!” Outta sight, outta mind!

If you didnt google those Asian characters you are NUTS! How do you remember all these characters? I remember Wu and thats it! Well, Jade rings a bell. Tia Carrere. Its getting clearer now my Porcelain One! I sure hope the girl who plays Rosalie has a second job!

I have always loved GH. They have the best cast in daytime. However, for the first time ever I am thinking of taking a break from the show until I read that something compelling is happening. It’s too hard watching the show fail to live up to its potential, month after month. The show has some great moments but that’s all. I don’t feel that I am in the hands of competent storytellers who have a through-line for the story lines. There is too much fluff, too many long and drawn out stories that never resolve and not enough attention paid to character motivation and history. Finally, the cast is just too large so the storytelling is not tight, with plots and characters frustratingly disappearing and
reappearing. GH needs overhauling – STAT!

I hear you, “Mister Media!” Quite frankly, I think Epiphany best summed it up yesterday when she declared, “I don’t have time for this nonsense!” Way to go, Nurse Johnson!

I loved when Epiphany hugged Sonny when he showed her he could walk. It was strange but sweet. THEN, they come back from a commercial and EP is putting Sonny back in his wheelchair and Mr. Mob looked like a tooth pick in her arms! They should have her patrolling the docks!

Can’t Jason just bang his head and regain all his memories as Jason Quartermaine? There’s a story! Everyone who worships Jason Morgan would suddenly be on the outs. Billy Miller could act his butt off as he tries to come to terms with all the amoral things Jason Morgan did while trying to re-establish himself as a respected Quartermaine. This is simple soap opera 101 – dragging a story on for 2 years and wasting the talent of one of the best actors in daytime is not.

I agree with you. I wont take a break but I can put the show on and do other things and really not miss much! I pay attention if Robert and Anna are on, every time!

@Timmm….I’d be happy just to have Epiphany patrolling the hospital full-time again….that woman is a Port Charles treasure, and I’ve never understood the shabby manner in which she was so unceremoniously “disappeared” from the GH scene for such a long time. I found it especially galling because all we ever heard was that we needed more diversity, yada, yada, yada, and here was an absolutely beloved, established character with an already rich past just screaming to be expanded upon and to whom viewers were already emotionally attached, and instead of developing Nurse Johnson as a core family matriarch with a logical assortment of nieces, nephews, cousins, etc., they instead brought in all these unrelated newbies just to address that issue. The same could be said for Brad and his relatives who date back to the Asian Quarter days… was a brilliant and perfectly credible link to GH history, and could have re-introduced Jade, Yank, and all sorts of their kin. But I guess that made far too much sense…LOL. As for Sonny once again “finding his feet?” The only thing that even made this wholly predictable outcome mildly interesting was watching Nurse Johnson’s role in his getting there….otherwise, I’d have to say that Matthew Crawley’s “miraculous recovery” on Downton Abbey was far more thrilling and unexpected to behold!

That statement was hilarious Mister Media…”can’t Jason bang his head…” I literally…and this deserves to be spelled out…Laughed out loud!

Finally Jason wants to remember who he is! Stupidest part of this storyline was his disinterest in his past. Hopefully we can get some traction in this story when Jason has his memories back. He will remember his love for Sam and for Liz. He will remember what flawed human beings they all are and will forgive Liz, knowing that she always falls back on lies and manipulations when she does not get her way. This way they can all move on from this hot mess to an actual story line.

I couldn’t care less about Jordan and TJ and his baby daddy. I hope that Curtis is not TJ’s father. That means that Jordan slept with her husband’s best friend and his brother! Eww… Where is the rooting value for her character? I think we should mix Curtis into other storylines with other women because he is hot and continue the Anna/Andre/Jordan triangle.

I am glad that they are amping up the Kristina storyline. It was moving so slowly before that I could not care less. I like the idea that “Parker” is married to Hayden. She needs to interact with more characters than just Nik.

wow… so many spot on posts… about GH

1. there is no rhyme or reason
2. GH storylines are not going any where…
3. all sense of direction is gaping in la la land

this is alarming !

i’ll add in mindless ; lifeless; and where is it? GH, are you their !

truly… I can only think of 2 things… and I’m keeping up with the show

1. in 4 months time… will we get a revived newly committed couple in Carlos and Sabrina?

LOL help me someone… I like these two

2. at least Hayden has a lot of iron in the fire… as it were

is she or isn’t she feeling the love
what is in that yellow manila envelope
is she still going to blackmail with Traci
what is her real identity
will she have any ulterior motive to blackmail Nicholas in the future

all this and a bag of chips for Hayden !?!?! ???? what?

i’m tired of all the wavering and lack of commitment to Nicholas
I’m tired of the WRITERS not giving NICHOLAS any power… to adversarial with Jason

so there you have it

Carlos and Sabrina
and Nicholas and Hayden

all that GH is; this is all that intrigues me

Ouch.. was able to watch yesterday’s episode in 10 mins. forwarded through all the boring parts.. .. may need to give up on GH ..Not worth my time these days….

hey Tim..
I watched it in 8 minutes.. I win !!! heh..

I’ve been watching since 1971. This is the most bored I’ve been in all those years. Like Billy Miller as Jason, but really turned off by Kelly Monaco. She has turned into something unrecognizable. I would like to see Jason get all his memory back even his Quartermaine memories. Now that would be storytelling.

Has anyone else picked up on the fact that Jason has returned to wearing a black t-shirt and leather jacket all of the time now. So I guess that tells us the direction the writers are leaning in. Again, nothing original. Sorry I’ve never been JaSam fan and never will be. Just because they’re dating in reality doesn’t mean they have to be paired together on screen does it?!

Brandon Barash’ – last – ep !?!?

one of my oh so favorite characters… for a multitude of reason

I was crying… openly so

what a guy to take “responsibility” for Lulu bad girl behaviours

when he mentioned he’ll take with him… that New Years Eve kiss they shared

there was dynamic flowing between Johnny Zachara and his yearn for Lulu. dang it tho… sweet, sensual, he’s sexy, Lulu coulda woulda shoulda with him. argh!

then it dawned on me…. am I crying also.. because this is the last good thing about GH… and now this is over ?

ALL Brandon Barash has to do is “sinfully” SMILE

GH’s Mark Teschner Tells Casting Stories of Johnny Wactor, Giovanni Mazza, Rebecca Herbst & Nicholas Chavez

This week during a very informative and insightful conversation, General Hospital’s 11-time Emmy-winning casting director and now a Daytime Emmy Silver Circle honoree, Mark Teschner spoke on finding the talent for specific roles on the ABC daytime drama series throughout his near three and half decades with the show.

During a livestream chat on the Michael Fairman Channel, Teschner recalled some of the behind the scenes casting stories that brought many beloved favorites to the GH family including the late Johnny Wactor (ex-Brando), the newly-arrived, Giovanni Mazza (Gio), longtime fan favorite, Rebecca Herbst (Elizabeth), and rising star, Nicholas Chavez (ex-Spencer) to name but a few.

When speaking with sadness over the loss of Wactor, who was shot and killed back on May 25th, and what he brought to the character of Brando, Teschner recalled, “With Johnny, what you see is what you get. You see the most kind decent, standup guy, and that’s innately who he is. So, that quality comes through in his work and with the character.”

Mark explained, “Brando was a raw kind of hothead, troubled kind of character, and Johnny was able to go there. He had a real intensity that he was able to bring to the role, but at the same time, the character of Brando had to have this depth and this giant heart that he doesn’t necessarily reveal when you first see him. Well, Johnny had the biggest heart of anyone you’ll ever meet. So that essence was already there, and then his acting and his skill played the character. Johnny brought so much of who he was to the character, and there was something so authentic about him.”

Giovanni Mazza recently debuted on GH as “Gio”, so what was his road to landing in Port Charles? Teschner shared, “I was casting a recurring role for a 15-year-old on the show, but when I’m doing the audition, sometimes I’ll open it up because we try to cast true to age, really within a year or so.  If you think about it, all the kids in our show are the exact age of the characters that they’re playing. Because if you have somebody that’s older playing younger, it sticks out because they’re not going to blend age-wise. But I did read a number of actors that were older just because they looked interesting. Gio’s audition came in. I was viewing this through self tapes, and there was just something about him. It wasn’t just that he was a great-looking kid, it was just there’s something very soulful about him and something very compelling, and he draws you in. ”

Photo: ABC

Mark continued, “So with the group of the 15-year-olds that I sent to Frank Valeintini (EP, GH), I said, ‘Hey, I’m including this kid, Giovanni Mazza. I’m well aware he’s too old, but I just want you to see him.’

After having him come into audition, two weeks later, Frank called Mark and told him they were putting Gio under contract. Teschner added, “So, that was an example where it was his first week in LA, it was his first and ever audition. So we got  before anybody else.  I think he’s really gonna develop into, you know, quite a young actor.”

Becky Herbst has been beloved as Elizabeth for decades, and Teschner recounted her audition process and how she came to the role of Elizabeth. “She (originally) auditioned for the role of Sarah Webber. But the role of Elizabeth was created for Becky. While the character of Sarah did not last long, here we are with Becky 30 years later.”

Teschner cited Becky’s casting as a great example. “I always tell actors when they come into audition, you lay it out, you put it all out there, you bring everything you have to that role. You may not get the role, but if you do good work, you get remembered. And it’s so true.”

Nicholas Chavez popped in the role of Spencer Cassadine before exiting the series. Teschner tells how Chavez came onto the GH casting radar. “Nicholas sent his self tape in from Florida and the rest is history. He had a meteoric impact on the show.” Mark added, “You always have an expectation and the hope that they’re (the actor) going to nail it and run with it. But sure, there are actors, you think, ‘They’re gonna be awesome,’ and then all of a sudden it goes to another level. With Nicholas Chavez, we knew he’d be amazing, but you know, who knew? Well, we did.”

Bryan Craig Teases ‘Who Could It Be’ in Response to General Hospital’s Returning Mystery Man

Since General Hospital’s executive producer, Frank Valentini dropped a major bombshell of what’s to come on the long-running daytime drama at the 51st annual Daytime Emmy Awards, the guessing games have begun of just what former GH actor is returning to the cast this summer.

Speaking with ABC’s On The Red Carpet, as previously reported, Valentini shared, “A former cast member is coming back. And I think that the audience will go crazy for HIM.”

That has led to major online speculation that it could be anyone from: Jonathan Jackson (ex-Lucky), Greg Vaughn (ex-Lucky), Ted King (ex-Lorenzo Alcazar), Nicholas Chavez (ex-Spencer), and Bryan Craig (ex-Morgan) among others, that might be the gentlemen being referenced.

Photo: JPI

On Wednesday, responding to a post on the subject from Soap Opera Digest, Bryan Craig commented, “Who could it be ….”  Now, clearly he can just be having some fun with the situation to throw fans off-track, or he might be giving us a tease of what’s to come.

Before exiting GH, the actor won two Daytime Emmys for his performances as Morgan Corinthos in 2016 and 2017.  Craig appeared on GH from 2013-2016 and made a return in 2018. Since departing GH, Bryan has appeared most recently in Freeform’s Good Trouble and ABC’s Grand Hotel, plus several independent films.

The character of Morgan was killed-off the show when Olivia Jerome set a bomb that exploded in the car that Morgan got into, but was meant to kill Olivia’s brother Julian Jerome. Morgan’s death caused a huge split in the relationship of Carly and Sonny.

So, do you think Bryan Craig is just having fun with the audience, or do you think it’s possible he is the big return Frank Valentini is talking about? Comment below.
